I worked with Discoboxx recently for a wedding I coordinated and Ralph was very responsive through the planning process. Communicated well leading up to and on the wedding day and really listened to what the couple wanted for the vibe of the day and executed it perfectly. His setup is professional, high quality and looks amazing (which is important when they are sometimes in the background of photos at the event). I am looking forward to recommending him to my future clients and working together again soon!

Ralph was an amazing DJ for our wedding. He kept the energy high, was easy going, and super professional. His custom lighting and party horn brought our wedding to the next level. Working with Discoboxx was such a fun experience and easy! We talked through the event and discussed what we were looking for and Ralph didn't miss a beat! The transitions, the song selections - everything was perfect. We didn't leave the dancefloor all night and neither did our guests!!

Discoboxx is the BEST local option for a wedding dj. Many of our guests commented how good the music was. One review was: "Food was 10 out of 10. DJ was 12 out of 10." My husband and I wanted a wide variety of our favorite music along with crowd pleasers that get the party going, and Ralph delivered. We choose Ralph because we are huge edm fans. We wanted a mix of the music we like, however we also wanted music that catered to all the people who attended our wedding. We also wanted an actual dj, not someone playing the same songs you always hear at a wedding. Let me just say Ralph and Baptiste absolutely delivered!! From the early stages Ralph took the time to understand our vision and he had great tools and advice that made the planning process easy. He was always prompt and professional in responding and the sheets he uses to help make the day go smooth are extremely helpful. From perfecting our ceremony music down to the second, to epicly introducing our wedding party to the best dance party of my life I cannot say enough good things about our experience. One thing I didn’t really think was so important prior to this experience, was the lighting. When we were ready to turn up the party, we went with the club package and I’m so glad we did. It turned our wedding venue into a dance club. The lights are adjusted in real time so they coincide with the music which creates an amazing vibe. Our dance floor was packed from the time dancing started until the wedding was over. Even my 83 year old Granny was out there a good part of the evening. Ralph was also able to accommodate our guests requests which I really appreciated. We have had nothing but amazing feedback from our friends and family about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding— and we certainly have discoboxx and his team to thank. It was absolutely perfect!

When we spoke with Ralph our main request was for him to read the room and keep the party going. He did a great job of gauging the temperature of the dancefloor and kept music going to match the vibes. When the dancing would start to fade he'd smoothly transition to a different song that reinvigorated the dancefloor. He did a fantastic job of catering to so many different folks taste in music and kept the party going all night. His lighting also totally upped the vibe of our entire reception and matched whatever the moods were at various hours. We were super pleased with his DJ and lighting service. Not even exaggerating, multiple family and friends reached out to us after the party to let us know how great the DJ did. 10/10 would recommend!

The goal of our wedding reception was to keep everyone moving on the dance floor and throw the best party - and Ralph and Yae superseded our expectations! From the very start, Ralph was communicative and responsive and offered a ton of advice on how to make our day and night the most special and best ever. We had weather related issues with our live music for the ceremony and he took the time to create a thoughtful back up plan with our venue coordinator, which included piping the sound from our cocktail area tent so we could still have the best of both worlds. It was amazing and showed how dedicated he was to making our wedding exactly what we had envisioned. Our friends and family have also still not stopped talking about how much fun the dance floor was and we agree - all thanks to them! These guys absolutely crushed it and it was awesome to have both be a part of our big day. The best part was how everyone has still been talking about how amazing they did with mashups and their ability to keep the party going for our three hour dance floor (no easy feat!). Not once was there a lull, the floor was never empty and they played all our favorite songs all night long, including lots for us swifties! We are so grateful for Discoboxx and cannot recommend Ralph and Yae enough for future couples.

Ramsey with Discobox was amazing! He was flexible with my last minute changes literally the day before. Most important he kept out dance floor packed the entire time. Music for all ages literally a 13 year old sister to our 75 year old grandma and everyone in between danced the entire night!! So much fun! We were deciding between a band and DJ my main concern was keeping the crowd entertained. The DJ did this! Wow he was great!!

DJ Ralph was everything we hoped for our wedding DJ, and more. He took plenty of time to meet with us twice before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page about what we wanted for the ceremony and the reception music. We let him know that a majority of our guests were a little older, and we wanted to make the music feel inclusive to them to get them dancing as well, and he did just that! The reception was a great success because he listened to what we said, and played a variety of music that everyone could enjoy and dance to. I truly believe I saw every single guest get up and dance at least once. I also want to say that you NEED to use his lighting! The uplights and party lights completely changed the vibe of the room and really was an amazing touch. I was worried that the room for the reception would look not decorated enough, but I can truly say his lightning prevented that entirely. Ralph was professional and completely worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone who is look for an event or wedding DJ.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great communication prior to our event that made our planning so much easier. Music, lighting, and overall atmosphere was great. We got lots of compliments throughout the evening about the DJ, and everyone had tons of fun. Highly recommend.

Ralph DJ'd our wedding reception and we had a blast! He was easy to work with, friendly and personable, polite and professional. We gave him some song selections from which he built a playlist for our reception. The playlist kept people out on the dance floor, engaged, and having fun. Ralph very professionally MC'd the events, speeches and games, in coordination with the event schedule developed with our coordinator. We would absolutely recommend Ralph's services to anyone looking for a great DJ.

Ralph was absolutely amazing!! Music is such a big part of the wedding experience and Ralph created an incredible experience for us and our guests. We described the different vibes we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he played a setlist that perfectly captured what we were looking for. He also had great and creative ways to include our “must plays.” My family is Caribbean and my wife’s is Portuguese, he cycled in great party songs from both our cultures and also classic wedding and party hits. The dance floor was JUMPIN the whole night. Ralph is also so easy to work with. He was prompt, really nice, helped us a ton leading into the wedding. Wedding planning is stressful, and having someone like Ralph who every time you connect with him makes you feel less stressed and relieved was such a delight. He was one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with! We also ended up doing the full lighting package which was sooo worth it, as it helped create an awesome party vibe. If you’re looking for a DJ that’s gonna have your guests dancing all night long this is your guy!

Ralph was the best! At my wedding, he kept the guests on the dance floor the entire night. Ralph is not only professional, but he is kind and communicative as well. He was quick to understand the vision I had in mind and put together an incredible party. I truly can't say enough amazing things about Ralph and Ramsey from Discoboxx!! One of our top priorities for our wedding was the DJ, and I spent a lot of time trying to find a DJ that I trusted to create the right vibe because we weren't looking for a typical "wedding DJ". I can now confidently say I have absolutely no regrets about picking Discoboxx! Our DJ was been one of the most talked about things after our wedding. So many people have told us how much fun they had dancing, asked me how I was able to find this DJ, and told us they've never seen so many stay out on the dance floor. Ralph was also so amazing to work with in general. He was always very responsive (...something I definitely learned isn't the case with all wedding vendors, haha), and he always seemed so excited to be part of our day. His energy was overall just a positive addition to our wedding! P.S. Get the lights!!! They really amped up the vibe.

Ralph was so helpful and available during our planning process! He really helped make our day feel like us by creating the most amazing environment and music placement. We were indecisive with adding in the lights package but it really glad we did because it added another level to the dance floor after dinner!! We cannot say enough about Ralph of Discoboxx. He is professional, kind, and his vintage record box is a very cool touch. He was very organized in including the specific songs we wanted played and did an amazing job understanding the vibe we wanted for the rest. We had him play our ceremony and reception, and he kept our dance floor packed all night! All of our guests complimented how wonderful the music was; Discoboxx was the perfect choice. (And right after our wedding he DJ’d Porter Robinson’s wedding, which is incredible!)

Wedding planning can be stressful.. but from our first meeting with Ralph I knew we were in good hands. He was incredibly organized and professional through the planning process. We gave him playlists to give him the general vibe we were looking for and he took it and ran with it in the best way possible. He far exceeded our expectations and had the dance floor full all night.

Discoboxx was AMAZING to work with! Super knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and great music!! Everything I wanted for my wedding, Ralph made happen, even went out of his way to play requests from people mid set. He helped us put together a vibe that was perfect for us and kept people dancing! Ralph was fantastic, and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and (most-of-all) fun wedding or event DJ. From the first interaction, Ralph was thoughtful and knowledgeable, getting to know us and our music tastes. We put together a couple of playlist, showed him our "Do Not Plays," and even threw him a few curveballs; Ralph took it all in stride throughout the planning process, and made us feel comfortable and heard. Working with Ralph was easily the most seamless and stress-free part of planning our wedding. On the day of the event, Ralph was our rock and anchor, and adapted his workflow even when 80+ MPH winds in the desert were trying to derail the flow and setup of the wedding. He adapted and didn't miss a beat (pun intended), and made guests feel welcome and encouraged to get out and dance. Ralph's MC style was perfect for us; he wasn't the star of the show as we have seen with other wedding DJs, he toed the line between fun hype man and MC, giving instruction at all the right times, making sure that microphones were set up and working correctly, and schmoozing the venue owner at every turn. I wish we could hang out with Ralph, even though he was hired for his services, he fit in with our family and friends and we truly thought of him as one of our guests. To anyone considering Ralph for his services - set up a meeting with him immediately -- you'll be blown away at his experience, skills, and professionalism.

Quite honestly, best night of our lives because of Ralph. Reviewing each of the DJs, my wife and I both immediately felt like Ralph was our speed. Within minutes of our first meeting, it was clear that he loved what he does, and was genuinely eager & excited to be a part of our day. After dinner, not one person returned to their seats. First wedding I’ve ever seen where no one left the dance floor. Hiring Ralph to be our DJ was the best decision we made-- he is AWESOME!! Ralph is super friendly, charismatic, and professional. He coordinated closely with our wedding planner and wedding venue to make sure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly during the ceremony and reception. He was an awesome MC, keeping everything fun and on track without being overbearing. He also made time to meet with us about a month before our wedding to discuss exactly what kind of music and vibes we were going for-- and he absolutely nailed it! He played every song we wanted to hear and then some, and his transitions/mixing are on point! The energy was high and the dancefloor was full all night long! Our guests were seriously raving about Ralph for WEEKS afterward, saying he was the best wedding DJ they have ever experienced! I even had staff members from our wedding venue approach me the next day to ask us for Ralph's contact info! Highly HIGHLY recommend Ralph and Discoboxx!

Ralph DJ'd our wedding in August 2022, and was awesome to work with! We met with him a few times prior to our day so he could get a sense of the vibe we were looking. Nailed it!! This is what I think of when I think of how well Discoboxx and DJ Ralph set the mood for our wedding. About 3 weeks before the wedding, we got on a call with Ralph to discuss the day in more detail...everything from the music for each part of the ceremony/reception. We knew exactly what we wanted and gave Ralph a lot of direction but made it clear that we trusted on them as the professionals to take our vision and bring it to life. My husband and I literally created an 11 hr playlist on Spotify of any and all songs we would love to hear throughout the event and let him run with it. Let me tell you...Ralph delivered! Ralph was charismatic, had incredible energy but didn't take over. He kept his time on the mic to a minimum and made sure to keep the events of the night moving along, which we appreciated. He read the vibe of the dance floor perfectly! His song choices, transitions between song and genres was on point! The dance floor was crackin' from start to end and we loved every minute of it! Our guests were absolutely raving about Ralph...and 4 weeks later, they're still going out of their way to rave! We cannot recommend Ralph and the people at Discoboxx enough. They were responsive, supportive and an absolute pleasure to work! Thank you again for helping create the most epic day ever!

Ralph is absolutely the best DJ I’ve ever had the experience to work with..he killed it with song choices..he made us feel confident when we were choosing our walk out song/first dance ect..we had a couple funny moments that we wanted to do but we were a little unsure..Ralph reassured us he had our back and would make sure the energy matched the moment..and he did that and more…my biggest advice when booking him is to let him do his thing!! He knows how to throw one heck of a party..all of the guests left talking about him and how high the energy in the room was…truly he could not have done a better job..When we talked before the wedding we told him that all we cared about was partying hard and keeping the energy high, we gave him free reign on song choices and it was the best decision we could have made..after working with Ralph I am confident he could fit anybodys taste, and play more reserved music if you desired..however we chose to party hard!! (Seen in photos) if we could give him 10 stars we would..thank you Ralph for being such a special part of a night we will never forget!!! If you want the dance floor packed all night Ralph is your man!!

Ralph went above & beyond at our wedding to play all of our must have music and per my request playing tons of Taylor Swift throughout the night, even ended played the Cruel Summer bridge (IYKYK)! He kept the energy high, everyone had so much fun and not a single person was off the dance floor. He meet with me the week before the wedding and spent an hour making sure I understood the flow and helped me visual our big day! I am so thankful we go to to work with him, he made our night truly come together!
