Dish wowed guests with food that was, “not just good wedding food, but good food, period!” We were thrilled to hear this compliment multiple times over, good food being a shared passion of ours as a couple and our top priority for our wedding. Dish impressed us from the get-go with a thorough proposal and descriptions of fun and delicious add-ons tailored to us as a couple, such as a pierogi bar for happy hour and a buffet of pies: we ultimately forewent a cake in favor of pastry chef Bianca’s delicious pies! Chef AJ was enthusiastic about sampling the fish courses for us at our tasting: the bride is allergic to red meat, and it seemed cooking fish was as much a breath of fresh air for the caterer as it was for us as diners! And the food held up so well in transit between their Long Island City kitchen and our venue in Gowanus: all that wild striped bass was still beautifully moist when it was served! Other guest favorites included the roast chicken, the tenderness of which was complimented many times over, and the polenta with mushrooms, which charmed everyone with its pitch-perfect execution. The staff Dish brought with them were so hardworking and kind, everything moved without a hitch thanks to their experience and professionalism. Catering was by far our greatest investments in planning our wedding. There were a few hiccups during the planning process (as is natural), but the Dish team always bounced back with presence and attention, and inarguably delivered the delicious, elevated dining experience we’d hoped for our guests on the big day. If you guys could just… maybe… share the recipe for the polenta? And the bass? …and the pie crust??? I don’t know how we’ll live when the leftovers are gone.

Dish is AMAZING. They catered our wedding celebration in May 2024, and we are absolutely overjoyed that we chose them - and specifically that we got to work with Julianna and Michael! My husband and I eloped, and planned this celebration a year later for 80 friends. Dish understood our "vision" of the night from the start - we wanted a relaxed and fun evening, with all of our favorite people and things. They made our favorite foods as the mains (tacos and pasta), with delicious and beautiful hors d'oeuvres, and sooo many incredible sides (the adorable cups of Caesar salad were a huge hit!). The food was absolutely perfect - we had so many unprompted compliments from our guests about the food throughout the night. Including our Nova Scotian friends absolutely loving the lobster rolls, and they would have been the harshest critics! Everything was somehow even more delicious than it was at the tasting. We also had a few gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free guests, and Dish had no problem either adapting or adding options to the dishes to ensure that there would be enough to eat for all the dietary preferences we threw at them! Julianna even made gorgeous signs (to match our wedding website!) that accompanied each food item to ensure no dietary mishaps. We heard rave reviews from our guests about the bartenders and servers, and all the staff were so happy and personable. We have no idea how they managed to pull off so much behind the scenes while literally everyone seemed so cheerful, calm, and professional all night long. My husband and I were truly free to enjoy ourselves and be with our friends without a single thought to logistics, and there are no words for how much that meant to us. Extra thanks to Stella as well, our amazing night-of captain! Beyond the delicious food, the entire experience working with Dish was full of incredible surprises that show just how thoughtful, prepared, and seriously GREAT AT THIS they are. From the moment we walked into the tasting (January 2024) and they had set up the Lobster and Rose cart as an extra surprise, until the very end of the event when they presented us with a tote bag full of thoughtfully and carefully packed containers with some of almost every single dish. They knew, even before we did, that leftovers are one of the best ways to relive the magic! Julianna was truly a godsend every step of the way - menu choices; floor planning; advice on everything - rentals, furniture, DJ; brainstorming ways to make our poutine dreams come true; never forgetting a single detail mentioned in any interaction; and so, so much more. More than that - she did it all with SO much support and thoughtfulness. Dish felt like so much more than a caterer, they were genuinely partners in planning the wedding celebration of our dreams. We sincerely hope that there will be an opportunity to work with Julianna and Michael in the future - thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We absolutely loved having Dish Food cater our wedding. We got married at The Foundry in September 2022 and Michael was incredible throughout the whole process - they made it all so seamless and delivered on everything, down to every little tiny detail. During all of the stress and chaos as we approached our wedding day, they kept me (the bride) calm throughout it all. We couldn’t have done it without their day-of coordination assistance, either. On top of that - their food is AMAZING. To this day we still get compliments on our amazing cocktail hour where we had some delicious passed appetizers and an incredible raw bar and sushi bar. Even our tastings were a fun part of the process. Can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Dish for making our wedding so memorable. We’re still reminiscing.

Dish was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! Beyond catering, Dish also coordinated all of our venue rentals, helping bring our tablescapes to life within a blank space. I do not know where I would have been without Michael’s help throughout our entire planning process! From acting as a sounding board from the beginning while chatting through budget and guest count, Michael was beyond helpful in working with us to understand exactly how we could achieve our dream hosting experience, while making great recommendations on best areas to scale back in order to stay within our budget without making any major sacrifices. Michael walked us through the rental showroom assisting with design recommendations all while keeping us in check on spend, in addition to hosting such a fun and intimate tasting experience leading up to our wedding. Dish’s amazing team knocked it out of the park on the big day, from the food and presentation to overall service and care for our guests throughout the entire evening. The best part is still having our guests rave about our food to this day – including our tray-passed espresso martini surprise-desserts, per Michael’s on-point recommendation. The arugula salads also were the stars of our tablescape photos!

The one thing my now-husband and I agreed on fairly quickly in the wedding planning process is that food was our top priority. We both come from different backgrounds and wanted a vendor that could blend our cultures and provide elevated food that reflected us. Dish happened at the most perfect time – we were at our very first venue open house with nothing planned thus far and met with Evalyn during the peak of the pandemic (July 2020). She was so warm and engaging and the food at the open house looked amazing (we had to take it home because, pandemic). We came home, warmed everything up and were BLOWN AWAY by how good everything was! We’ve been to many weddings over the years and wedding food is always so mediocre, so to meet the very first vendor that totally upends the stereotype was mind blowing to us. We kept Evalyn in mind as we made some other major wedding decisions (mostly our venue and planner) before getting back to her. Our planner has worked with Dish and Evalyn, so we knew we were in good hands. From our very first tasting of our custom fusion menu, we knew Dish was our caterer. We met with Evalyn and Ryan and were totally blown away by both the food and hospitality! We planned our wedding over the course of two years and Evalyn always graciously answered our questions even when our wedding seemed so far off. When the time came to make rental and food decisions, Evalyn was an expert at curating everything for us based on our tastes and making the whole process as easy as possible. When we asked for another tasting before making our final decisions, she made sure we were able to come in to make our decisions two weeks out. The day of the wedding, everything was beyond perfect! As soon as our ceremony was over, Evalyn had our signature cocktails ready for us. All of our guests were raving about the food, from cocktail hour to dinner, and the service. I am seriously not kidding, we are still getting people raving about the food weeks later. This was exactly what we wanted! A custom, fusion menu that reflected us as a couple but was also delicious and was not “typical” wedding food. More importantly, Evalyn and the Dish team were there for every minute of the journey and were BEYOND all of our expectations. I hope we have many more occasions in our futures where we can cater with Dish! We are so lucky to have worked with Dish and to have them knock out one of the most important elements of our wedding day.

I think we all expect wedding food to be just edible so I went into the search a little jaded... but Dish blew my socks off. I have had guests calling me to tell me they have never had such delicious food at wedding. i am not sure i will ever stop dreaming of the stuffed date or that steak. Michael, Ashlyn, and Jess were incredible to work with. Jess was my day of contact and she immediately put me at ease. She made sure we ate, were comfortable, took time for ourselves, assisted with a dress emergency and guided the vents through without a hitch. If i could give a 6th star, I would.

Dish was so fun to work with and the food for our wedding was beyond. I can't rave about the creative and delicious food enough, but working with Evalyn made my day so perfect and special. They were more than our caterer but we're our way-of coordinators and I cannot thank them enough for all they did. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our food was delicious! My vegan friends could not stop raving about the cauliflower steak, and everything else was also amazing. Could not recommend enough. Everything was perfect thanks to Dish!

Dish did an absolute incredible job with our wedding! We would not hesitate for a second to recommend booking them for your wedding. Michael G was a complete lifesaver and tied the entire thing together for us. He led us through the booking and planning process so gracefully and truly made everything come together so perfectly - we don't know what we would have done without him! The entire team is so great and you really can't go wrong here. The food is also fantastic and they give you a ton of options to choose from, while helping us to cater to our guests with dietary restrictions without a question. I'd recommend Dish hands down to anyone looking for a caterer in the NYC area - the best!!

We enthusiastically recommend Dish Food & Events! We hired Dish Food & Events to cater our Brooklyn warehouse wedding this past April. The food was great and we absolutely loved working with Evalyn! She was professional, knowledgeable, organized, and very easy to work with. With a short turnaround time we leaned on her heavily and she exceeded expectations. We also hired our day-of-coordinator, Lauren, through Dish and were so glad we did. Evalyn and Lauren were an amazing team. They brought our vision to life flawlessly and were a pleasure to work with while doing it. Very highly recommend!

Once I got to speak with Michael Guadagno for the first time on the phone, it was done. After researching and also speaking with many (and I mean MANY) catering companies, it was so refreshing to speak with someone who actually seemed to care about us as a couple, wanting to understand our story, more than "what's your budget, how many people, plated or buffet, etc." Michael asked questions and took the time to connect with us, and trust me, it's SO important to love the people that you'll be working with - Dish remained so accessible, accommodating, and professional from start to finish. Michael guided us with honest and helpful recommendations and advice. He was never pushy, genuinely cared about our concerns and questions, and allowed us to share with him our vision and he helped to execute everything on the day of flawlessly for all of our guests. And the food!!! We had SO many people come up to us on the day of our wedding raving about the food. And you know how they say on the day of the wedding, you're so busy you don't even remember what you ate or drank? Well, we remember the food and what we ate, because we ate everything, and we enjoyed everything on our plate thoroughly! Our wedding was at 501 Union in December of 2021. It was the best day of our lives, and we could not have done it without Dish Food & Events team's help. You will NOT have any regrets in choosing Dish for your event. We could not have been happier working with Dish! Throughout the planning process Michael was so helpful, flexible, and just overall nice to work with. All his recommendations came together in such a magical night, and we would not have been able to do it without him. Our day-of coordinator, Jess, was also a delight. She was incredibly attentive and alleviated so much anticipated stress. Our guests raved about Dish! Not only did they love the food, but they were also impressed by everyone working the event. So many people remarked that they had never been to a wedding with such fun and friendly staff. Everyone made our wedding night such an amazing experience.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Michael, Alyson and the team at Dish! When our original 2020 wedding date was postponed due to COVID, we made the decision to pivot to a new venue where we could safely celebrate outside. This meant we needed to basically start over to find a caterer, rentals, coordinator - all 5 months before our big day. We came across Michael and the team at Dish (who came highly recommended from our new venue) and quite literally looked no further. From our initial phone conversation, we knew we would be in great hands. All communications were quick and thorough and Michael never had any issue answering our many questions. Our tasting in Brooklyn with Michael was great. Every bite was delicious - which made it harder to make decisions for our final menu. What we did decide on was amazing! Everything was a huge hit among of our guests, many let us know after the fact that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. And I am still dreaming of the tuna poke lettuce cup from cocktail hour! One thing we had expressed concerns about was managing our open bar and any traffic or long waits to get a drink (as this had happened to us at other weddings). The bartenders were excellent and kept the drinks flowing and everyone VERY happy. We are both very detail-oriented perfectionists and had a very specific vision for the flow of our wedding day. We couldn't have felt more comfortable leaving everything to Michael and Alyson who truly executed everything flawlessly. They checked in and attended to us and our families while getting ready / throughout the wedding and made sure we always had a drink or food or really anything we needed. If you are considering adding on a Day-Of-Coordinator, do it! Alyson truly went above and beyond and was with us until the very last minute of the day. From re-applying lipstick, managing other vendors, packing up all of our belongings, and just generally keeping the party flow going - she did it all and it made a huge difference for us knowing she had everything under control. We can not say enough good things about Michael and the full team at Dish. You will absolutely not regret working with them. And we already wish we had another party to plan so we could work with them again!

DISH was one of our best vendors for our wedding day and we were so glad to have hired them for drinks and heavy appetizers for our 40 person reception. Evalyn was incredible to work with from start to finish— from our tasting through the reception, she and her team executed our event flawlessly. The flatbreads and antipasti table were delicious, and the drink selection was outstanding. Our guests raved about the service as well; the staff were so seamless in presenting and clearing the food and drink, it really made the whole night flawless. We ended up working with Dish after they acquired Naturally Delicious during the pandemic and we could not have been happier with the results! We ended up doing a Cuban-inspired menu that they executed flawlessly and we got many compliments on the food! They also handled a last-minute emergency change to our dessert plan that ended up being more fun and memorable than what was originally supposed to happen. Our wedding coordinator, Heather Levine, was a dream. Can't say enough good things!

We had a wonderful experience working with Michael and the whole team from Dish! The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We had an intimate wedding in our family home in Brooklyn, and the entire Dish team impressed us from the start. We had a lovely and relaxed tasting at their Brooklyn location, during which Michael explained all of the ways they could customize the menu depending on our (and our guests') preferences and dietary restrictions. On the day of the wedding, they were exceptionally professional, neat, and conscientious in our home and with my mother's kitchen/china. They were attentive throughout the evening and left the space spotless. Several relatives made a point of telling my parents how much they appreciated the way the Dish servers took care of everyone. We highly recommend using Dish for your wedding or event!

Dish Food & Events blew my expectations out of the water. My fiancé and I were big on trying to have taste testings as we had a micro wedding. Food and presentation was one of the most important things. Let me say....wow. Each dish and the presentation was amazing. I can say without a doubt that the size of your event will not make Dish Food & Events perform less than their best. There was SO much variety in the options and each had their own flavors and uniqueness. As much and my fiancé and I loved what Dish provided, so did our guests! And we had some picky eaters among us. There wasn't one complaint. Narrowing our decision down to Dish Food & Events was not hard at all and I truly believe their work and presentation and overall professionalism will not let anyone down.

Dish Food & Events did a fantastic job not only catering our wedding, but coordinating too. The day was absolutely perfect, not a single issue/hiccup (as far as we could tell!) and we were so incredibly happy the whole night. Our wedding was just a week or two before the pandemic hit NY, so we feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate, and the day was so incredibly memorable mostly thanks to Michael, Cortney and their incredible team. Our friends and family still talk about how delicious the food was (the late night grilled cheese snack was a HUGE hit) and we were able to taste it all, even the appetizers, because they went out of their way to make sure we were able to taste everything! We were able to eat at our own wedding… incredible! Michael made the entire process very smooth… the tasting, picking the menu, deciding on décor, coordinating with vendors, and he did it all with just the right amount of guidance. Planning the wedding was virtually stress free, and he brought our vision to life perfectly! We were so happy that he had so much experience working with The Foundry, he knew exactly what we needed, who to talk to, and what to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better point person… all his suggestions were great. Cortney was enormously helpful with day-of coordination. So sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. We’re so thankful she was there to help out throughout the day and night. We’re so happy Dish catered our wedding. It was a perfect evening and everything tasted incredible! Highly recommended!

Dish was phenomenal to work with. We had a 100 person wedding at the Foundry, and after reaching out to a few caterers, we ultimately decided to go with Dish. We met with Michael who was amazing and we chose him as our Day Of Coordinator. The catering staff was flawless and very professional. The food was amazing - people kept telling us after the wedding how great the food was. Michael and Cortney coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure everything was on schedule. They did a terrific job and the wedding was very smooth. We honestly had the perfect wedding and Dish was a critical reason why. I will highly recommend them.

Highly highly recommend DISH. In addition to providing the best wedding food out there, they have the rare balance of understanding your taste and vision and will work with you to fit what you are looking for. Michael made the months before our wedding way less stressful than they otherwise would've been, and the day, of, he and Cortney worked brilliantly to make sure everything flowed flawlessly--they cultivated the perfect balance of being in control and on top of everything, without being pushy and invasive. Top-notch professionals. Without DISH our wedding definitely wouldn't've have been as great as it turned out to be.

Dish catered our wedding at the Foundry in LIC and also provided day of coordination services. Michael, our day of coordinator and main contact in the run up to the wedding, was the best. He was very honest and helped guide us through the whole process from food to rentals to the wedding timeline and design. He and Cortney handled our family (who can be demanding and challenging) expertly and everyone loved working with them. We are pretty fussy when it comes to food and had tastings with a number of different caterers and Dish was by far the best. The food was fabulous and we received really great feedback from all of our guests. The catering staff were also really easy to work with and very friendly. Thank you Michael, Cortney and Dish! I would definitely recommend Dish to anyone needing catering for an event.

Dish catered our engagement party for 50 people in May 2019 and we couldn't be happier. I corresponded with Allyson via email initially and she couldn't have been more helpful with planning for our event. The drop off was seamless and on time -- the food arrived beautifully arranged on the platters. Our guests raved about the food, specifically the mini lobster rolls and fried chicken sliders. I highly recommend Dish for all catering needs!

We had a wonderful wedding at the Foundry catered by Dish Food and Events. Michael was our coordinator and he was extremely insightful, helpful, and made great recommendations. We leaned on him throughout the wedding planning process as Dish was also great enough to throw in day of event coordination services. It was great to work with a vendor that was very familiar with our wedding venue. Dish coordinated the vendor arrivals - setup and cleanup as well as handling anything that needed to be taken care of the day of the wedding. The timeline and whole process was flawless. In terms of the food, we had passed hors d’oeuvres and the amount of food was great. Our guests were pleased and the shrimp tacos were a very popular item for our September wedding. They had a plate set aside for the bride and groom right after the ceremony, which we appreciated. The dinner had 3 options and our guests raved about the steak with red wine reduction. We also offered the pesto salmon and a vegetable risotto – both excellent and items we were able to try at the tasting. Michael was amazingly helpful with food and liquor options, table settings and the linen choices. On the day of, he even saved us some of our wedding favors so we wouldn’t miss out! Between Michael and the Dish staff, everything was taken care of and executed wonderfully. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend the Dish for weddings and all events!

Dish Food & Events catered our wedding in August in Brooklyn. They did an amazing job creating a very unique menu tailored to the food we like and our backgrounds. Our friends and family could not stop talking about how great the food was, especially considering most of the time the best you can hope for at a wedding is mediocre food. We still get comments, months later, about the burrata which Dish created specifically for us to marry Asian and Italian flavors. We also got tons of comments about how great the service was! Michael, our main point of contact at Dish, was super helpful the entire time, we loved working with him!!

We hosted our wedding at Dish Food & Events' venue (190 North) and it was a wonderful experience. After having issues finding a venue that not only fit our "vibe," but also our budget, we were thrilled to find 190 North + Dish Food & Events. Our coordinator, Evalyn, was great to work with and really took the time to listen to what we wanted out of our big day - something a lot of other places we met with, surprisingly, did not do. We were absolutely thrilled with the way everything turned out and our guests are STILL raving to us about ALL aspects of the wedding. I definitely would host an event at 190 North again and definitely would enlist Dish Food & Events for other events outside of their space!

First off, the quality of Dish's food is very good. Additionally, for the most part, the staff at our wedding did a good job. However, dealing with Bonnie, the event coordinator, was a nightmare. On the Monday before our Friday wedding, the weather forecast was very bad. My husband and I were to be married on a rooftop in NYC with the reception in the top floor/loft space. So, we immediately began making contingency arrangements, including by hiring a tent company to tent the roof space and calling Bonnie to rearrange floorplans and timelines as necessary. Upon calling Bonnie to discuss the changes, she shared her view that our photos "would not be very nice" in the tent. She further indicated that guests would not have an enjoyable experience, as the tent would be "too hot" and "stuffy." Not exactly the nicest things to say to a couple whose plans are unwittingly changing a few days before the wedding. By the Wednesday before our Friday wedding, we emailed Bonnie to tell her our decision that we would be using the tent and moving forward with an outdoor ceremony. After receiving no response for several hours, I called Bonnie to speak with her about the change, and she indicated that she had not been checking emails because she was working on a "project" and that our wedding was not the only wedding she was working on for that weekend so we weren't prioritized. I was appalled by her lack of support and dedication to our wedding. Then, upon relaying our decision regarding the outdoor ceremony, she again reiterated her view that the photos in the tent would not be very nice and the guests would be too hot. (In fact, on the day of the wedding, everyone was cold and wearing coats under the tent because it was 50 degrees and rainy) Overall, I would NOT recommend this caterer because of our experience with Bonnie. She was so unsupportive and negative during the last week as to make the entire experience extremely stressful and unsatisfying. UPDATE: Ryan, Dish's owner, emailed me after reading this review. He asked me to consider removing or editing the review "to be less negative", and asked whether I would speak with him via phone so he could "address" any issues. I immediately indicated a willingness to speak and sent my availability to him. However, Ryan never responded, indicated his availability, or reached out again.

Ryan & Bonnie are the absolute BEST! They run a great company of people who truly care about producing a great event w/delicious food! At the start of the planning process Bonnie sat down w/us & found out what our wishes were for our big day. She makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she is working on because her work is so timely, detailed & personal. She put together an entire package of food, special cocktails, desserts, our wedding cake, menus, wedding programs, furniture rentals, event planning services – you name it, she was there for us to help plan and execute it! THE WEDDING DAY WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Ryan, Bonnie & their catering staff were outstanding! They were so sweet and lovely to work with, while also working fast and efficiently-focusing on us, our families & our guests! We didn’t have a single worry that day and we enjoyed every single moment-because of Bonnie! The servers operate like a Broadway Performance – delivering each plate perfectly in sync and the food revealed on the plate was fresh and piping hot! I have seriously never seen any catering staff as carefully coordinated as the day of our wedding – it was like watching a production! The food was SO AMAZING & DELICIOUS! We still have guests raving about it to this day! We have been to countless weddings & have seen the aftermath of hiring a sub-par caterer – not good! And many times people say, “you get what you pay for.” But I have to say that one of the most amazing things about working w/DISH is that they have very fair & reasonable pricing. The quality of their work truly makes it a steal! It is so important to find people that you can TRUST when you are planning a wedding... Ryan & Bonnie are definitely those people! We absolutely LOVED working w/them & would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing catering company to handle their event! They are extremely talented and all around wonderful people!

There is not one bad thing I can say about Dish Food & Events. Food was delicious and creative. Serving staff went above and beyond. Bonnie (Event Director) is friendly, sweet and very easy to get in touch with. We met with Bonnie and Ryan (Founder & Owner) at their quaint kitchen/headquarters in Brooklyn. Not only did we sample some amazing dishes, but we got the chance to get to know Bonnie and Ryan. We had a great time and left with very happy pallets. Our guests were ranting and raving about the cocktail hour appetizer choices, as well as our selections for dinner. A lot of our guests said they felt like they were at a "very fancy- upscale dinner party". I sent pictures of how I wanted items set on the tables, and how i wanted our candles on the windowsills, and Bonnie set it up even BETTER than I had imagined. Everything looked spectacular thanks to Bonnie and the Dish staff. So grateful to have had such a professional, creative and kind team, taking care of the most important part of our wedding. We are eternally grateful and would 100% use Dish again! :)

Dish was an absolute dream to work with beginning to end. We worked closely with Bonnie to decide the menu, rentals and lots of other finer details. Once it came to deciding the types of plates and other show room items, Bonnie was excellent in keeping within our budget and making recommendations based on what was going on in the industry at the moment with helping us maximize what we were trying to do. She was incredibly organized and patient while answering all our questions. She was extremely prompt with emails and collaborated with our other vendors flawlessly. It felt great to know on our day everything would be handled so we wouldn't have to worry at all. The food was delicious at the event, just as it was at our initial tasting! Our guests LOVED it! Their chefs are highly creative with their dishes and use fresh ingredients. Dish was also very kind to caterer to some specific needs we had (vegetarians and people with allergies). They made drink recommendations for our wedding and were spot on with our personal cocktails. The set-up's of the tables, chairs and other rentals were perfect - just as we envisioned. A few specifics for us from the event day of that stood out: - My bridesmaid with the allergies said someone from the staff approached her with a plate full of snacks she could have for cocktail hour since she was unsure about the other items being served - I really appreciated hearing someone went out of their way for her. - I kept ordering drinks then getting pulled away from the bar by friends. And the bartender would come out from behind the bar and go running after me to give me my drink - SO SWEET OF HIM!! - I think there may have been someone not listed as vegetarian, who actually was and they ended out getting served the vegetarian meal when it was mentioned. - For us, the food/drinks were delicious (just wish we could have had more!!!) I loved the gin fizz drink!! And Andre enjoyed the strength of his manhattan very much. I enjoyed the lamb meatball and mint crostini during cocktail hour, but everyone was RAVING about the crab cakes. We cannot recommend them enough! I would use DISH food again if I were to ever have another catered event. Do yourself a favor and hire DISH!

We had the most amazing wedding, courtesy of the food, drinks, and atmosphere provided by Dish at Studio 450. Bonnie and Ryan were amazing in helping us plan an innovative menu that truly showcased our wedding theme. They coordinated our rentals and liquor as well, and even offered to add some lighting, which truly made the loft venue shine. All of our guests RAVED about the signature cocktail, passed appetizers (they couldn't get enough of the chicken and waffle), and dinner (the pumpkin ravioli were incredible) -- as well as the dessert bar featuring a selection of sweets (carrot cake whoopie pies were outstanding) and cheeses. When we walked into the venue, it was clear that they had taken everything we had said in the planning meetings and executed it perfectly. Even their staff made the night perfect. We can't say enough, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I met Ryan from Dish at a wedding expo back in Brooklyn and soon after my then-fiance and I went to meet with him about our upcoming wedding. We loved the fact that it was such a small, personal company, and that the owner himself took so much time to work with us directly. Ryan was very conscious of our budget and provided realistic suggestions as to what we could get for our price (i.e. short ribs rather than filet mignon). He listened to our suggestions and made a menu that truly reflected what we love, including appetizers, three entree choices and a dessert table in lieu of a wedding cake. Our guests even got prosecco or sparkling water when they arrived before the ceremony -- a really nice touch that Ryan suggested himself. We also loved that Dish is truly a full-service catering, unlike a lot of the restaurant caterers we looked at. Overall, we were in good hands the day of our wedding, and Ryan and his staff made us feel like super stars. Every time I turned around, someone was there to refill my drink or hand me a napkin or get me whatever I needed -- and everyone loved the food!

We hired Dish for our wedding reception. We wanted a cocktail party-style reception. Bonnie at Dish was very responsive to our questions and requests; she worked with us to find the right menu for our party, optimizing taste, variety, and price. At the reception, our guests raved about the food. The staff (1 chef, 3 servers, and 1 bartender) was friendly and professional and went out of their way to help us. When we arrived at the reception, we realized we forgot our ipod for the background music. Dish's chef, Jennifer Cole-Ruiz, kindly let us use her phone with Pandora radio to access Sinatra music. Choose Dish Food--it will make your wedding planning easier!

From helping us find the perfect venue, to choosing the decor, tables, rentals, etc., to creating an innovative & seasonal menu for our guests, everything was performed smoothly & to our specifications. I would highly recommend them for a wedding as well as any type of catered event.

Everyone is still raving about the food--every single filet (plated meal) came out perfectly cooked (and I am incredibly picky when it comes to stuff like that). Many said it was by far the best wedding food they had ever had. Dish Foods also incorporated numerous seasonal items into the menu and throughout the event. My favorite thing about Dish Foods, however, is how far they went out of their way for me (and believe me, I had a few bizarre requests). Not only did they assist with those requests, they also had great recommendations to make my vision even better.

ryan and dish were a pleasure to work with. the food was tasty and fresh and not your normal wedding spread. great with coming up with veggie alt when i forgot about all the vegetarians attending. professional and amazing. all my guests truly enjoyed the food and desserts.

Ryan Corvaia is pleasant, easy to work with, and knowledgeable about food, and Chef Matt's banquet was good — indeed, some guests (experienced and exacting gourmets) said it was the best wedding spread they'd ever had. We enjoyed the tasting, and Ryan & Chef Matt were (thankfully!) flexible, coming up with some alternatives at nearly the last minute. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, and Dish Food carried off the event without a hitch.
