z absolutely delivered. When we didn't know what music we wanted for a specific part, Darren would give us some examples for tone, and work from there. With minimal direction, he had us figured out so well that our wedding party commented on how perfect the music was for us and asked if we specifically requested it (Nope, that was all DJ Cruz!). We had so much fun during the wedding, and as requested, the dance floor was hopping all night. There was a hiccup after the first dance when we were supposed to do the Father Daughter Dance (apparently that's the perfect time for the FoB to go to the bathroom) and DJ Cruz so smoothly transitioned to the Mother Son Dance no one even noticed the switch. Darren was easy and fun to work with, and was everything we could want in a DJ. If you want your wedding to be full of fun and dancing, DJ Cruz is your guy!

I never realized how many tasks the DJ takes care (not just the music). Darren handled everything from mics, lighting, aisle music, first dance, speeches, literally everything. And of course our dance floor was packed the entire night. We still have guests telling us how amazing our DJ was. Darren was truly the star vendor of the night!

On the day of the event, he seamlessly navigated multiple unexpected changes to the timeline, and despite the dinner running long and us starting the dancing late, he still fit in all the music we requested and then some! He even played some songs that made us go "Oh man! We forgot to request THIS song. And he played it anyway!" After the event he also put together a touching montage of the event, which we didn't even ask for. 5/5 stars well deserved.

He got everybody dancing and played songs we wanted and songs that I didn't know I wanted to hear! He went above and beyond in requests we made about songs being cut down for special dances, to editing a song to be longer for our entrance! Almost four years later, we made that happen this past weekend and as expected DJ Cruz had everyone rocking out all night! We have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests! There were no songs that I didn't like and I am not exaggerating. He had the dance floor going all night. Not only is he an amazing DJ, but he is the most fun and awesome vendor to work with. He will accommodate anything that you want.. trust me, I didn't do anything the conventional way. He will genuinely listen and use your playlist requests and he will smile the entire time doing it. ! I looked and did research. I thought about hiring a radio DJ or some big name old school DJ. But I came across DJ Cruz, he was probably one of the best decisions we made. We were always impressed with how prepared he was for our meetings and phone calls. He was always more than accommodating to hop on a call to answer any questions we had and he always put us at ease when we were stressing out. His years of experience and passion for what he does is clearly evident in his work. DJCruz played the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He also provided up lighting and a photo booth (both were great!) He did all of the introductions and perfectly announced all of the names and a few were rather challenging. He tied in all of the songs we wanted for introductions and key moments throughout the wedding. DJCruz provided great recommendations that helped our wedding day go smooth. He held control of the party’s heartbeat and we could not be more thankful he was the person in charge. We would 100% recommended DJCruz and Divine Creations to all of our family friends.

He also was an amazing, energetic, professional MC, helping keep the entire wedding moving seamlessly. All the guests were saying how great he was!! If you have special requests, he goes above and beyond to try to incorporate them into the wedding - whether it's a family tradition or a meaningful song to the bride and groom - he really made sure these were played making the wedding even more special and meaningful.
