DJ Emmett Florence was amazing! He kept the dance floor fun! Played the perfect music even when I changed the walk down timing on him last minute. He worked with my sister when she sent him audio files for her speech. He did a wonderful job! I couldn’t recommend more!

DJ Emmett performed at our wedding back at the end of February and he was absolutely amazing. He kept the energy up and kept all of our guests engaged and on the dance floor. I highly recommend him for any and all events to get your party started and keep it going.

I would give DJ Emmett more stars if I could, but 5 is the most on here. He was the DJ for our wedding and he made the night so amazing for everybody. The pre ceremony music, the cocktail hour, and of course the reception music were all incredible. He did an amazing job of taking our ideas and bringing them to life. The cocktail hour playlist was totally up to his imagination and we received nothing but compliments on his playlist. Then the reception playlist was just *chefs kiss* people were dancing all night long. My wife and I have different tastes in music and he did an amazing job of mixing things up, keeping it fresh, and keeping everybody happy. I hope to only have one wedding but the next time I need a DJ I will be calling Emmett for sure!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the initial coordination to the final moments of the event, he exceeded our expectations in every way possible. DJ Emmett was AMAZING!!! Having a smaller (32 people) wedding, I was slightly concerned about the ability to keep the energy high and people on the dance floor, but Emmett had NO issues with this at all!!! He listened to my and my husband's requests/music preferences and mixed that smoothly into things other people would enjoy as well. There were tons of fun mixes, awesome lighting, and great vibes overall!! We couldn't recommend DJ Emmett enough, he is amazing!!!! 12/10 should hire him for your wedding/event!!!

When reaching out to DJs for our wedding, we were met with resistance when it came to accommodating our own personal preferences and song selections. DJ Emmett showed no hesitation when asked to work with all the music we love and fully understood the vision that we were going for. I was so impressed by the attentiveness to detail and expertise when it came to timelines and moments to be captured. Our wedding was the dance party that we always dreamed of, thanks to DJ Emmett who not only played every song that we had selected, but songs that perfectly flowed together and the fit the vibes that we were going for. Additionally last minute was able to incorporate some extra uplighting that set an amazing mood. Cannot thank enough for the memories we’ll hold forever!

When my husband and I got engaged we initially planned on skipping a DJ for our wedding and just playing through some playlists we made, and we are both SO glad we didn't. It was really nice having a DJ to not only play music and keep the energy up, but to make sure the flow of the evening went smoothly, and Emmett far exceeded our expectations in these areas. During the wedding planning process it was really helpful for me to bounce ideas off of him and hear his tips and suggestions. We had a few unconventional aspects to our wedding, and some last minute changes, and Emmett just rolled with all of it seamlessly. He also was very kind and respectful of our religious wishes which meant a lot to us!! Overall, it was really easy to trust Emmett and let him do his thing while my husband and I enjoyed our wedding. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was full all night - many people told us afterwards that they loved our DJ. We would absolutely recommend DJ Emmett :)

DJ Emmett was amazing!! He provided the perfect balance of keeping us on track with our timeline, performing his duties as MC and keeping the dance floor occupied with both classic wedding songs and our requested playlist. 10/10 recommend.

We had our Masquerade wedding this last Halloween and Emmett did everything he could to make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. He even showed up in a black sequin suit and plague mask to be on theme! He was professional and friendly throughout. We gave him a pretty hefty Playlist to go off of but encouraged him to add other songs he felt fit. We weren't interested in the usual wedding fare musically, as this was a big Halloween party, and all of his additions and choices from our Playlist flowed perfectly. They never felt jarring or out of place from the rest of the music. Timing was spot on consistently through the night. We highly recommend Emmett to anyone hosting their wedding in the area, I don't think it would have been as magical if we went with anyone else!

Emmett was a fantastic DJ and emcee for our wedding in Scottsdale! It was very easy to prepare with him, and he curated the exact vibes we wanted and got the dance floor jumping when it was time. He also performed and sang a solo guitar set during cocktail hour which was a perfect addition. 5 stars!

We decided to hire a DJ last minute for our wedding and thankfully found DJ Emmett. Even with such a short time frame, he was incredibly accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. DJ Emmett helped structure the event and kept the party going all night! We sincerely appreciated his fun and positive attitude which helped create a memorable night for us and our guests.

All of the guests loved him and we received several compliments. I considered many other DJs who were a lot more expensive, and I am so glad we decided on Emmett!

If you are in the market for a wedding DJ, DJ Emmett is the guy. The day of our wedding was much hotter than we anticipated, and with an outdoor event, the AZ sun zapped a lot of energy during the ceremony leading into the reception. DJ Emmett, as the MC, was able to host and deliver an amazing playlist that brought that energy right back. He knew exactly what songs/games/interactivity would boost crowd involvement, but also sprinkled in our personal music tastes to fit the vibe we wanted. The day was beautiful and magical and DJ Emmett was an integral part of that. It'll be a bit before we throw another large event, but when we do, DJ Emmett, without question, will be our top choice.

Emmett was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Before booking, we scheduled a call with him and he answered all our questions. He was receptive to our ideas of what music we wanted. He did an amazing job balancing our request of playing more deep tracks while also still playing some songs he knew everyone would love to get people dancing. On top of DJing, he was also a great MC, never missing an announcement and keeping people laughing and entertained without trying to take over the event too much. We didn't get married at a typical wedding venue but he had no issues with figuring out how to hook up all of his equipment and playing our music without guaranteed WiFi. We would highly recommend booking him!!!

DJ Emmett was fantastic! From the very start of our wedding planning process, he made the planning a breeze. We had a longer meeting with him about two months before the day, where we created a timeline, confirmed all of our special music, and got all of our questions answered. Working with DJ Emmett is like working with your super talented friend. He fit in perfectly with our wedding! He made each interaction personal - it was like we had known him for a while! Our guests raved about the music during both cocktail hour and the reception, as well as loved the games that DJ Emmett played with us throughout the night, like the Newlywed Game. If you need a DJ, BOOK HIM! You will not be disappointed!!

We loved having Emmett as our wedding DJ. He took our ideas for the games, the music, everything, and ran with it. He was very flexible and communicative the night of our wedding and a lot of fun to work with. Our guests enjoyed his energy as an MC and his music as a DJ.

I cannot recommend DJ Emmett enough! 5/5 stars all around. With all of our wedding planning and stress, DJ Emmett made his process a breeze. He was easily available to answer any questions, give suggestions, and help out with anything he could. We had a conference call about 2 months before the wedding to make sure we had a solid timeline. This lifted a huge weight off our shoulders! I even asked if he could do a special song mixup for my father/daughter dance and he did not disappoint. When I arrived to my wedding as the bride, I was 2 hours before the ceremony was to begin. DJ Emmett was on time and set up quickly with no stress. Unexpectedly, the fire alarm at my venue kept going off. He kept his cool and in turn made me feel more relaxed about everything. Luckily it all worked out! He played all of our music on time and kept the ceremony and reception flowing all night. He was very charming, and kept our guests engaged the entire time. At the beginning of dinner, he even played a scavenger hunt with our guests to see who would line up for food next. This was all his idea, and our guests had so much fun with it. DJ Emmett took song requests all night and was a fantastic MC. His song choices were spot on as well which in turn made our guests say this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. Definetly would hire him again and suggest him to anyone in need of his services. He is very professional, kind, and talented. I can’t thank him enough!!

DJ Emmett was absolutely amazing, and we are so thankful that we hired him. He stepped in after a previous DJ we had hired had to back out. It was very stressful because we were 2 weeks away from the wedding, but Emmett made us feel comfortable right away. He was so responsive and easy to talk to. We felt that we connected with him right away. He offered a DJ set and an acoustic set, which we were so excited to take advantage of. It really made our wedding special! As for a DJ he was amazing. He kept the party going all night long. He played the songs that we requested and had great ideas to make our night even more special. He provided a lot of input that we were so grateful for. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding DJ that will make your wedding very special.

DJ Emmett was awesome for our small little off the wall wedding. We set up a schedule over the phone, then changed it. He was very professional. The schedule was ever changing still the day of the wedding and he was rolling with it and made the day that much more special by keeping guests engaged! Highly recommend him and will book again if we ever need a DJ

Emmett was truly amazing! We got so much feedback after that everyone loved our DJ! (specifically the scavenger hunt for dinner he did)... We did curate our own playlist but he transitioned every song great! I would highly recommend him!!

Emmett was a fantastic DJ who battled a torrential rainstorm to keep our outdoor wedding party going! He was responsive ahead of time and helped to plan the flow of the ceremony and reception music--and then was flexible enough to adapt under pressure on the fly. Absolute professional. 10/10.

Emmett was amazing! He DJ'd/MC'd our wedding and was so wonderful to work with. He held a meeting with us a month before the wedding and we mapped out the events of the day and type of music we did/didn't want played. The day of the event he was very communicative and was very attentive as to what type of songs got people dancing. If any weren't a hit He quickly phased them out. He also was very open to putting song requests by guests into the mix (as long as we said it was okay). Overall we loved him and would absolutely work with him again.

Emmet was an outstanding MC and DJ for my wedding. He made all the translations from cake cutting and first dances and stuff flawless and engaging. Everyone kept commenting on his technical dj skills during the dance party too! He really kept the energy levels at the max. He’s responsive and punctual.
