DJ Marty McFly was incredibly professional, seamlessly keeping the party alive. His communication with the crowd was spot-on, ensuring everyone was engaged. Highly recommend Marty for couples looking to elevate their wedding celebration!

Truthfully, I was a bit disappointed with the services provided by Marty. As far as cost, Marty McFly was on the higher end of the DJ’s we were looking at. But because music is so important to me and my husband, and because we knew were were going to have a few special requests for our DJ, we decided to splurge and go with Marty. This ended up not really being a good use of our money in my opinion. Now, I want to be fair and say that I have gotten a lot of compliments on the DJ and he had the dance floor full all night. So my issues are because I had a specific vision in my head and he didn’t help me execute it. It’s not that he’s a bad DJ or played bad music. My complaint is with his ability to listen to our specific requests and make sure to execute them. I’ll be specific. My husband and I used records as our centerpieces. We wanted a certain song to play as tables were released for dinner. Apparently when Marty showed up he was unprepared for this and pushed back on the day of coordinators about it even though we had discussed it over zoom and I had followed up with all the necessary information required to make it happen. Without day of coordinators, it doesn't sound like this would've happened and it was something very important to us. We also had taken the time to create our own dance floor playlist we wanted Marty to pull from. We had tried to do some older songs to get the older guests involved and we’d avoided the very typical overplayed wedding songs like Yeah by Usher and Timber by Kesha. This playlist was not really stuck to at all from what I can tell. Now, again trying to be fair…maybe people were requesting those overplayed songs? And we had told him he had some leeway to go outside of our playlist… But, ultimately, our vision for our dance floor just was not executed. And for me, that is a big disappointment of the wedding. I would’ve appreciated more upfront communication on what was and was not possible to make happen so I could’ve avoided stressing about it the night of and just gone in with the proper expectations. Maybe our playlist idea was unworkable, but then that should’ve been said to us from the very beginning. The other thing is as the bride, you want to be able to tell your vendor something once and trust that it’s going to happen. This wasn’t the case with Marty. So my advice to brides and grooms is this. If you’re looking for a DJ that you can just let do their thing and trust that they’re going to play the hits and keep the dance floor going then go ahead and book Marty McFly if he fits in your budget. But, if you have specific requests that are important to you and you want someone you can trust to execute them without reminders, keep looking.

We were recommended DSM Dance Party DJ's by our venue and they killed it! We chose to go with DJ Marty McFly because we liked his energy and how fast he got back to us about any and all questions. DSM Dance Party DJ’s did a fantastic job throughout the entire process of servicing our wedding on 6/9/2023. From the initial introduction meeting to the day of entertainment provided, we were very pleased with how everything turned out. Martin/DJ Marty McFly was our main point of contact for all of our needs and was very helpful by walking us through the timeline of our big day and making sure we weren’t going to be stressed about anything when the wedding was actually happening. Their website was super user-friendly and the ability to integrate our own playlist and certain songs we wanted throughout was reassuring. DJ Marty McFly was a wonderful MC who made sure everything ran smoothly from the sound quality during the ceremony to the dinner and fun games all the way to the keeping the dance floor going the entire night. We were naturally nervous about making sure people were enjoying their night but we can’t emphasize how much Marty McFly made a difference because it seemed no one wanted to leave the dance floor and people kept telling us how much they enjoyed the reception altogether. We would certainly recommend DSM Dance Party DJ’s to anyone we know as we’re everything we could’ve hoped for and more!

DJ Marty McFly was a huge factor in what made our big day so perfect! He was thorough in planning meetings to ensure we had all the parts for our big day - giving great suggestions and support along the way. He came to our rehearsal to walk through with us, was punctual on our big day, and the music selection was exactly what we wanted. I worked with Marty for a few weddings and he was awesome! He was very professional, attentive, and he was great with the crowd! I especially loved that he mixed music, and gave the bride and groom mics to sing along to their favorite songs! DJ Marty could not have been a better DJ for our wedding. From the very beginning, Marty was attentive and thorough for our wedding day. Every step of the way, Marty was there for any questions we had. Marty was prompt to the wedding venue and was extremely prepared for every detail we had in mind. After the ceremony, Marty played the most perfect music for dinner service. He was interactive with all my wedding guests and guided the night perfectly. When it came to the dance floor, Marty knew exactly what to play. So many of our guests said they had never been to a wedding with a DJ who compared to Marty. The dance floor was so amazing all due to music choices made by Marty. I could not have asked for a better DJ and I would recommended Marty to anyone. We appreciate his service and no one could compare.

DJ Marty McFly was absolutely awesome! He and his staff set up our ceremony audio and the reception. Both were incredible! He took time to understand our needs, timeline, and details thoroughly. The day wouldn't have been the same without him!

We told Marty that we wanted college rager vibes and he delivered!! He went out of his way to find specific remixes we wanted and was very patient with how particular I was about where to start and stop certain songs. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. He was very professional and was a great MC letting our guests know what was going to happen when during the cocktail hour and reception. We could not be happier that he helped us throw the party of the century!!

DJ Marty McFly did a fantastic job DJing for mine and my wife’s wedding. From our initial meeting to the event planning software and then the setup of the event everything went great. He is really nice and super easy to work with. As for the DJing you can’t ask for a better DJing service. The music that DJ Marty McFly and DJ PJ played throughout the evening kept the dance floor popping. The highlight of the night was when they surprised us with a sparkler fountain. It’s a must get for your event to add a spark!

DJ Marty McFly was the BEST! He was super organized and helpful from our very first call to the night of our wedding. The online portal was great so we could edit our timeline and add songs as we needed. Marty also got along great with my day of coordinator at our venue, and made sure nothing was missed. Aside from the planning aspect, Marty knew how to throw a party. He kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire night, and even let us take over the mic for awhile for some karaoke. I'd highly recommend him for any event!!

Working with Marty and his team was super easy and they were very organized! There are online options to get as detailed as you want with planning the format for your event! Marty was also great at providing suggestions and input when I worked with him on a special project. It’s great to work with someone who enjoys what they do and have a supportive, professional team backing them as well!

Marty was awesome to work with and was even better at keeping people moving and grooving. In the planning process he was very helpful at giving us ideas of what we needed to think about as far as the reception goes. Transitions from song to song were on point and never allowed for there to be a dull moment for those on the dance floor. Highly recommended.

Service was A+ top to bottom. We weren't in the area - so Marty McFly was super flexible in having our meetings over the phone and was always good with whatever last minute changes we made. He filled in when needed and got to all of our "must plays" (there were quite a few) before the night was over. We've never seen so many people out on the dance floor all night and all of our guests keep telling us how much fun everything was! He had a handle on when to start music and when to cut it and we didn't have to ask for anything extra. He guided the ceremony and reception along and we didn't have to worry once! Amazing!

We decided late into the wedding planning to hire a DJ, the one recommended to us was already booked however that DJ recommended DJ Marty to us. He was very professional to work with and really catered to what we wanted. Their use of websites and technology to plan the event and music was so easy to use. The day of the wedding went so perfectly, everyone had such a great time and the MC really read the crowd and got everyone involved. Even the grandparents of the bride were out dancing. Exceeded my expectations!

DJ Marty McFly was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. He was a great DJ -- played music we loved, kept the party going, and managed guest request well. On top of being a great DJ, he was the most organized vendor we worked with for our whole wedding. He acted as MC and kept the reception on time. My fiance used to be a DJ and is all about music so when we began looking for a DJ for our wedding, I knew that this was going to be an extremely important part of our day. When reaching out to vendors, Marty contacted me immediately. He was extremely professional throughout our entire process. As the day approached, we met a couple of times to discuss details and then any last minute changes I had, I sent him a quick text and it was taken care of! The schedule he provided helped me create my own schedule for the day. The ceremony music was perfect, he had all the mics ready to go, and keeping our guests updated with info. The dance floor was full ALL night. There was not one song no one was dancing to. I would say we picked many songs that you traditionally would maybe not see at a wedding and Marty absolutely nailed exactly what vibes we were looking for. Marty even drove to Promise City, IA for our day. We cannot recommend him enough! You need him for your wedding!

Recently went to a wedding where DJ Marty was the DJ and he did an amazing job! The dance floor was packed and he smoothly transitioned between different parts of the wedding with no hiccups or hesitation! I would definitely trust him as my DJ for future events!

DJ Marty and his team were an absolute joy to work with. I received a recommendation for the company from another DJ who was not available on our wedding date. Marty was such a great find and we could not be happier with our experience! While DJ Marty was not able to actually attend our wedding, he coordinated all of the details for our day. I received a response to every e-mail within hours. We had multiple meetings to determine the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Marty and his team were so flexible with the multiple changes we made to our wedding, including the date. They created a schedule for the entire event, complete with music choices and timing for each segment. Antonio was the DJ for our actual wedding and he was phenomenal. He was incredibly kind and so respectful of our guests and venue. We left a great deal of the music as the DJ’s choice and he perfectly captured the mood that we were hoping for. His transitions between events throughout the evening were perfect and he was a great emcee – cheerful, pleasant, and excited. The owner of our venue made a point to let us know how great of an experience that she had working with Antonio. After breaking down his equipment, Antonio offered to help the venue clean up after the wedding. DSM Dance Party DJs could not have been a more perfect choice. I plan to recommend them to everyone I know!

He was so nice and went above and beyond to get my video for my Maid of Honor speech to play! Plus the music for the reception was great!

Loved Marty! He made everything flow so well from pre-ceremony to the last song at our reception. My husband commented on how stress free the reception was because of that. Marty is very personable and easy going as well. We had many guests tell us that it was the most fun they’ve had dancing at a wedding reception, and a few said they usually don’t even dance! Thanks again, Marty! We had a blast.

Marty was amazing for our wedding! He played the BEST music and had our dance floor busy the whole night. We had quite a mix of people and music tastes and Marty catered to everyone. He had a great list of Spanish songs which was awesome! He even helped MC with a lot of traditions we wanted to do as well. I can’t remember a single song we didn’t like! As an MC he kept everything running smooth and rolled with any last minute changes we had. The only reason I have 4 stars is because one of his helpers was not very professional at the end of the night, and there was a miscommunication because of that. If you're looking for a top-of-the-line professional DJ with MC talent, who cares about your big day as much as you do, book DJ Marty McFly. Our experience: Before booking the event, Marty set up an in person meeting with my fiance and I to make sure he understood everything we were looking for in our DJ. After the initial meeting, every call I made and email I sent was responded to within hours. On our wedding day, Marty delivered on everything we discussed and more. Guests arrived at our reception venue an hour and a half before the wedding party, and Marty provided MC & DJ services to them throughout the Happy Hour, keeping the mood light and fun while they awaited our arrival. Upon our arrival, he navigated our night through the wedding party entrance, table releases for the buffet line, speech introductions and the first dance transitions. The night continued, and he played every song from the list we provided him, played all the songs requested from guests at the venue and didn't play a single song from our do-not-play list. Beyond the songs we requested, his personal playlist couldn't have been better. After knocking it out of the park all night, he reached the end of his final hour, but the party was still rocking and the dance floor was full. My best man approached Marty and asked him if he would be willing to stay an extra hour at his predetermined rate. Marty happily obliged and hyped our dance floor up even more than it already was. Everyone was having a great time and almost no one left during that extra hour, so with the party still going strong, my best man again asked Marty if he would be willing to extend his services another hour. Marty again happily agreed and kept our reception alive much later than he originally agreed to. I couldn't have imagined a better wedding day, and Marty was a huge factor in that. My wife and I have received many compliments on how well the DJ did and asked how we found him. So thank you, Marty, for going above and beyond and making our night one we will never forget! You are a stand-up professional and I will be recommending you and your services to everyone I know!
