DJ Neekz helped us MC'ing and DJ'ng for our wedding at Ko'olau Ballrooms. Our experience working with him was easy, and we were so glad we chose him. He is also a club DJ at Next Door. Coordinating the wedding from the mainland, although with a Wedding Coordinator (Vida Chic-would not recommend btw) was very stressful. Our Coordinator was really behind and unresponsive for weeks, so DJ Neekz offered to help us out with the timeline and suggestions if needed (we were super stressed). Dj Neekz was very professional, responsive (he'd let us know when he was out on vacation), on time for our Zoom meeting, and also the in-person meet up before the wedding. We wanted basically a trance music theme wedding and he delivered. We would highly recommend him again, except we only plan on getting married once. 5/5 stars.

No matter the type of event or audience, DJ Neekz is perfect for your music and emcee needs. Working with DJ Neekz for our wedding was so easy and professional. He listened to our ideas, made valid suggestions, and kept the vibe going with us and our guests. He is such a versatile DJ and pays attention to the environment to keep the mood appropriate, whether for a first dance, a surprise hula, or to get LOW. Not only is his music seamless, but the effects he offers is so show-stopping and necessary for your event. The "Dancing with the Clouds" made our first dance pictures JAW DROPPING and the "Cold Sparks" brought light and excitement. You will not be disappointed with DJ Neekz. He's literally the best in the business!

DJ Neekz was both our emcee and DJ for our wedding day. Throughout the entire process, he was very easy to contact and even scheduled to meet with us the week before our wedding to go over the timeline and exactly what we wanted. Everyone enjoyed his services and he also provided advanced wireless uplighting for the entire ballroom. It was absolutely breathtaking and we had so much fun. I definitely recommend booking with Dominic!

We hired Dominic to DJ our summer wedding, which we were planning long-distance. When we wanted to schedule a phone call to walk through our music preferences and the vibe we wanted to create for our reception, and he was friendly, easy to work with, and incredibly responsive. His wedding package did not disappoint and we loved the uplighting, monogram, and the atmosphere Dominic created from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Highly recommend DJ Neekz!

I must admitted that having a professional DJ and MC changed the entire atmosphere is the wedding! The guests are highly entertained and fully enjoy the party! Also, Domanic did a great job uplighting the entire ballroom and it totally change the dinner area into a romantic palace! It is totally what we wanted for our wedding. Quite honestly I’ve lost count (and then some) of how many people from our wedding RAVED about Dominic and Julian (MC Juju) and there’s a reason our dancefloor was overflowing with guests of each generation from start to the very end! For context, the focus of our wedding was making sure that all of our guests had an amazing time after traveling all the way to the islands to celebrate with us and delivering on that promise wouldn’t have been nearly as feasible without Dominic and his insightful, accommodating and ever-helpful approach. Dominic is a consummate professional, responded in a timely and detailed manner to any and all of our questions going into the wedding, made a point of meeting with us in person in the days leading into the event and provided great insight into what works well for each “big moment” of the day and after understanding what our top priority was (guest experience) was able to provide helpful insight (AKA extremely diplomatic feedback) when we got a little carried away with the idea of wanting lean too far into the NOLA bounce and Big Freedia and helped strike the perfect balance between older-generation/ parent-pleasing party music and cranking things up when everyone was ready to cut loose and bring a bit of rage face to the dance floor. At first I was on the fence about splurging for MC Juju along with DJ Neekz but hands down having both of them there was one of, if not THE the best “bang for the buck” decisions we made for the entire wedding (outside of working with Chavah and Vida Chic, who also love working with DJ Neekz) Aka my fiancé suddenly becoming incredibly concerned about the music and deciding Juju was 100% happening was a total blessing. GO FOR IT. Your “wallflower” guests will thank you profusely as Mc Juju does a great job of making the dance floor fun and non-threatening and (unbeknownst to us beforehand) comes armed with easy-to-approach dance moves/ routines that those wanting to join but scared to can follow along with (and feel like they are looking cool). Speaking as a bride with an EXTREMELY…. Opinionated mother and MIL, this was a GODSEND when it meant they both got to enjoy themselves, feel confident in their dancing in front of others and have a “safety blanket” there to catch them if they got lost on how to dance to the music playing (aka once it was what the younger folks wanted to hear). PEOPLE, these two party-pros made my 92 year old grandmother, the non-native English speakers AND even the awkward “one of these things is not like the others” grumpy wedding date get (and want to STAY out) on the dance floor! TL;DR, Dominic is an absolute pleasure to work with, very talented at what he does and if we ever do another event on-island, will absolutely be reaching out to work with this dream of a team again!

Dominic is absolutely fantastic. He was very professional both in our initial meeting a well as day of. He went above and beyond our expectations and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for making our day the best day we could have ever asked for 😄

Dominic did a fantastic job emceeing & DJing our wedding this summer at The Kahala. Efficient set-up/take-down, ability to read the audience, easy to work with, great playlists... He does it all! We especially appreciate how organized Dominic was as an emcee in keeping our wedding running according to schedule. The reception went very smoothly and our friends/relatives keep telling us how much they enjoyed the event. Thank you Dominic!

DJ Neekz was the best!!! We used him for our destination wedding @ Hilton Hawaiian Village and we were more than pleased with his service. Our reception went better than imagined as he went above and beyond our expectations. We were a bit nervous coordinating everything from Seattle, however, Dom pulled it off as many attendees have told us this was one of the funnest wedding's they attended. Dance floor was full the whole night. We highly recommend DJ Neekz!

We wanted our wedding reception to be a fun, party atmosphere...and we got exactly what we wanted! DJ Neeks was amazing! We loved the music, and the dance floor was full their entire night. In addition to the music, he did our uplighting, had all our music in order for the ceremony and was the MC for the evening. I am so glad he was part of our day, working with him is so easy. DJ Neekz is the best DJ in Hawaii!! He made our October 2017 wedding perfect from start to finish. Excellent communication, ideas and what ever we asked for he organized from the timeline to playlist. So impressed at how professional he was yet super fun and knew how to make a great party. Cannot recommend Dom enough!! After researching for weeks and weeks it was the best decision we made. Not only was he a superstar DJ on the night he also was our MC and super flexible with any last minute changes. All the wedding guests commented on how awesome he was. Trust me couples, you can NOT go wrong with DJ Neekz! I am so glad I took the advice to meet and book with Dominic for our special wedding day. We were able to meet with him prior to booking anything, so we got a feel of his style and personality. Another lucky note - we actually got to see him DJ at a club, so we were able to hear his music live! I knew right then and there that we had made the right decision. He did a fabulous job of emceeing and playing the right kind of music for each parts of our ceremony/reception. So many people were dancing until the very end - including my parents! DJ Neekz killed the DJ game at our wedding 2 weeks ago. He did everything; the sound at the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception! It was AWESOME. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception; he made sure the wind and the passing showers weren't an issue. We had a friend of mine sing our first dance and the dances with our parents, along with some Hula songs we sent over; he was great about incorporating that without any issues. I wish we would have had him Emcee the entire program instead of one of my friends! Dominic was much better on the mic ;) Thanks again Dominic!!

We recently had our wedding at the end of March and we hired DJ Neekz for our Entertainment. He was our DJ and our MC. He had the best deal for us as it included DJ services, MC services, uplighting, monogram, and top notch music equipment. He also was able to be there for our wedding ceremony doing the music and using his microphones and stuff for the wedding. There was a time where the equipment was not working properly, but it was not a big issue for us. He did a good job with the music. He gave us a music sheet before hand in telling him the different songs to play for the ceremony and suggestions and type of music for the reception. There is also a section on the sheet that asks of what not to play. I feel I specifically said no electric side and stuff like that, but it was played at my wedding. However, again not a big deal and then I later found out that someone requested it. So no problem. All in all, DJ Neekz was responsive to my emails (as this was a destination wedding for us), gave us a really good deal including a lot of things, and played good music. I do recommend him for your wedding! Thanks so much for working with us and helping us create such a memorable moment!
