Danny & Tori’s forms were completed just 2 days before their wedding — not by the 10 days required — yet we still confirmed all details and offered flexibility for changes. Their dance playlist contained 33 songs, all of which Dave downloaded and played, supplementing with additional tracks to keep the dance floor full. Guest requests were handled exactly as indicated on their forms (“at the DJ’s discretion”). The brief wireless mic cut-outs occurred due to strong winds and the protective settings we use to avoid harsh wind noise — a factor discussed with you beforehand. When guests did not take their seats for the ceremony during seating music, Dave personally asked each person to be seated — something outside the scope of a DJ’s normal role — to keep your timeline on track. Danny & Tori did NOT fill out the Father-Daughter dance section. We sent all this proof over to Danny & Tori and they have not responded, or fairly updated their review. Dave has been a wedding DJ for over 15 years, with hundreds of 5-star reviews and only 2 complaints in his career with the last one being 12 years ago. On the day, he went above and beyond — even personally seating guests before the ceremony and accommodating last-minute announcements not in the planning sheets. We’ve been in business since 1999, completed over 10,000 weddings, and are highly sought out with many dates being filled due to referrals from other past events. Over 1.7 million people have experienced our DJs in action. Our reputation is built on professionalism, skill, and service — the same qualities Dave delivered here.

attention to details is important! We are humans, and with that comes human discrepancies. And true, not evey song the DJ will play, is a song that absolutely everyone will like. The dance floor could be packed, and still, one person will come up to the DJ and say they don't like the songs. it happens. :( We have our clients to please, and the other 150, 200, 350 plus guests as well to please, and the DJ's job, is a very difficult one trying to make sure every song pleases everyone, which isn't always possible. I did take a look at your details and have unlocked your account so you can see it too. But there wasn't any songs on the DO NOT PLAY list. That part was empty. As you and I discussed, the Shoe game would be decided by you on the day of the event. The DJ was not supposed to initiate it without your consent, so he wouldn't have done it unless he was told to do so as per your wishes. It also stated to allow requests. So some of that music he said were gust requests. According to our paperwork, your music categories that Malik had were only 50's, 60's, and rock music. We had talked about updating those. You had three priority play songs from Johnny Cash, that's country, so the DJ would think playing a country request from a guest would be acceptable. So I can see where that was a reasonable assumption. I do see that a majority of songs (over 50%) were played off the priority playlist. As stated, you were very busy, and it's not uncommon a very busy Bride & Groom will miss some of their songs. The DJ stated that when he played some of those rock and old songs off your list, it was difficult to keep people on the dance floor, which is ok, because as we discussed, we are there to play the music that you want us to play. But, it can't be expected that the music picked by the client is also something every guest would enjoy, but the Bride & Groom do, and that's what matters too! However, we didn't know what was "cringy" to you, nothing was specified or defined that would be cringy. If you would like, I'd be open to sending you the data and details to show that the music was conducted per your wishes. The releasing of the tables, normally that's the coordinator's job, or the catering company's. We traditionally do not do that as we are the music company and can't always know or assume what every food company wants for line length and execution. Plus, our DJs are still very busy during dinner double checking and making sure the photographer, and all others have everything lined up for what's coming next. :) And as always, like I mentioned, you have the option to approach the DJs to mention to them your thoughts and express and new wishes that change or come up during the course of the day. But if you'd like, I'd love to go over the details, but also have opened up your account so that you can see the details we talked about that was input into the forms. I appreciate the review though and it helps us remind the DJs that no matter what, they still need to pay attention to details.

t makes their guests smile, not just the DJ. The fun is to be had by the guests, not just the DJ, the focus is on the Clients, and the guests! The DJ's job is to make sure that THEIR experience is epic, and not that the DJ's experience is epic. It's not about the DJ, it's about the clients and their guests having the time of their lives! We have a job to do, and we make sure that it's up and above anyone's expectations and that the clients and guests are catered to and well taken care of! over 1200 events a year (210,000 people on average we encounter) , we just get some clients that have a difference in opinion. That's OK! We just need to hear about it before the day so that we can address it and DJ execute a proper program. We can't do what we don't know about. But mostly, not every song, ever smile, every thing will please every one of those 210,000 people, but we sure try! Thank you and we appreciate your honesty and thorough review!
