I stayed here in October 2025 for a conference. The hotel was very close walking distance to the convention center and all the other fun things in the French Quarter. I did experience an issue during my stay however Gary was very understanding ...
and responsive to get it resolved quickly which I appreciated. We happened to be in town the weekend before Halloween and could see the Halloween parade from our room which was really exciting! The rooms are in good shape and the staff was helpful. I didn't end up eating at the restaurants because we were part of the conference.

This hotel is not the newest thing in the area, but its service is what will forever bring me back.

rooms she even made sure to give us the double tree cookies! But she was great especially because a lot of my company flew in at different times. Rooms were clean, and quiet halls. I planned a birthday trip for me and my friends. The location was perfect for everything we needed to do especially things that we’re walking distance. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel in the midst of a remodel. Need to be a little more informing of work being done. Asked several employees of pool status and not one straight answer as to it being open. Our room was nice but furniture was really rickety. My nightstand dr...
awer was falling out of the track and drawers for clothes was scratched and chipped. Bathroom fan was very loud and noisy and should be on a seperate switch. We couldn't shut it off or just leave light on in a darkened room overnight. Maid staff were very nice and assiisted us. Tried to get off the floor on Wednesday with our luggage and elevator bank on 6th floor was closed off due to contractors sealing and regrouting the tile floor. Would have been nice to get a heads up. Try to checkout at noon and lobby was packed with new persons checking in and us trying to checkout and one staff member at desk while other staff walked by the situation rather than address the situation and continue to do other things non customer related. Although they're centrally located on Canal Street, management needs to step up and review active periods of business and when customers need to be taken care of and informed of services unavailable or limited.

standard and so is the lobby. The beds are fairly comfy and have mini fridges in the room which is a plus! The icing on the cake is…THOSE WARM CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT COOKIES!!! They are to die for and I make sure I get mine everyday of my stay for dessert.

Location is perfect. However we had several problems with the room and they were never addressed. 1- the air never went off .. like never no matter what I tried it stayed cold in my room. The sinknstop working ..meaning the water would drained....
.. called front desk several times and was promised someone will be right uo6.. never happened.. the buffet breakfast was blah...most was frozen pancakes ..cold syrup...and burnt bacon... overall like I said location great.. they need to upgrade breakfast and just overall rooms and customer experience.

ng fairly spartan, and the location is impeccable. However the rooms are damaged with furniture showing signs of wear and the staff is minimally responsive to complaints. I'm not sure that's necessarily the employees fault I just think management doesn't hire enough people to take care of the guests. The outflow vent in my room's bathroom didn't work and I mentioned it daily without any resolution - I kept being told someone would come look at it but no one did. Without going into details we can all imagine why we would want the bathroom fan working during a long hotel stay and the smells that lingered were quite unpleasant. The breakfast is also laughable at $22 per person - I've had better breakfasts at Best Westerns in rural areas then here. Skip your time and money and go outside the hotel to eat. Ultimately it makes me sad because there are so many better hotels nearby with staff that actually cares about you having a pleasant experience not just collecting your money and having you move along. It's clear their business model is just booking large convention groups and doing numbers that way instead of providing a competitive product. If you literally just need a bed and nothing else the price is probably right but I won't be staying here again and I wouldn't recommend it to any visiting friends.

ce. It was awful, but the day I checked in, how is it possible that a hotel of your caliber would have its receptionist tell me the printers weren't working? It's a joke. I'd give you zero stars, but unfortunately, I can't. And believe me, with the experience I had, I won't be returning to your hotel. I think for what I paid, there are better options.

This is the worst hotel stay ever. Where do I even start?
When I checked into my first room, the floor was visibly dirty - there were black particles and dirt scattered everywhere. I was told by Gary that the night crew would come clean it, onl...
y to find out later that no such crew existed and that cleaning wouldn’t happen until 7 AM. He essentially lied to me, even after I asked multiple times for confirmation that the room would be cleaned overnight. He also claimed there were no other rooms available - another lie.
The night front desk person later moved me to a different room, which somehow managed to be just as bad. There was a half-full cup of coffee left in the coffee machine and a half-empty, opened water bottle on the counter - clear signs that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected before being assigned. To make things worse, there was no hot water in the bathroom.
At that point, I completely lost confidence in the hotel’s cleanliness and management. This experience was unacceptable and far below the basic standards any guest should expect.
As a Silver Hilton Honors member, I expected a much better experience. I strongly advise others to double-check reviews and consider other options before booking here.
