Lauren from the Downey Street Events team was my day of coordinator, but she was really more of a Two Months and Then Some Coordinator. 6 months before the wedding, she sat down with my then fiance and I to go over what we'd done so far, helpe...d us find some local vendors, and provided great general advice. 2 months prior, she arranged and did a full walkthrough of our venue with our caterer and venue coordinator, then sat with us for 3 hours, soaking in every detail of the wedding we had planned, helping us figure out several details we'd forgotten. 2 weeks prior, she provided us with a 30 PAGE master schedule, detailing every last item about our wedding, giving us great comfort knowing she'd have every detail just right. The day of, she set up everything exactly how we wanted, coordinated clean up, made sure everything ran on time, kept drinks in our hands, and generally made sure we didn't have to worry about anything. We just had a great time. These are friendly, RELAXED, detail oriented people who really know what they're doing. I would recommend them over and over again.
