D.P. Weddings - Washington

We had a truly heartbreaking experience with DP Weddings. Upon receipt of our highlight video we were very disappointed with the editing and final product. It was nowhere near the quality we had come to expect when viewing all of their prior work. The first and most alarming thing we noticed was that BOTH of our song selections were incorrect. That made us feel that there was not a great amount of care put into our video from the onset. From there it only got worse. We noticed that much of our wedding footage was absent and the video consisted of only :52 of our ceremony (out of 4:11 total). Some of the key moments (first kiss, exchange of rings, best man/maid of honor speeches) were not included in the highlight. We appealed to DP for help to re-edit the video requesting to include more diverse footage from our wedding and to correct the songs. Someone informed us the editor was reviewing our feedback and would send a new version. We were promptly sent the 2nd video, and while the first portion was slightly improved, the second half still featured the incorrect song and the same issues that concerned us. We emailed, asking for help to discuss our concerns. After several days of not answering or returning our emails (and calls) we were then informed that after "researching" the issue they discovered parts of the footage were corrupted and unusable. You can imagine how devastated we were to learn this news. But what was more upsetting is why this information was not shared with us upfront? If DP knew some of our footage was corrupted, why wait until we requested multiple revisions before informing us of this news? We were offered a refund and the option to "re-shoot" some moments but we can never get back those moments that we trusted to DP Weddings. It was our dream to have a highlight video that we could re-live for the rest of our lives. We are truly devastated.

When I saw the main highlight video on their website I was so excited to work with this company! Bad news on all fronts. (1) The process itself was extremely disorganized. I had at least three different people as "contact person" and never knew who I was talking to because it was all through the same generic email and they often didn't sign their name. Then the videographers were a different set of guys and then the editors were different unknown people that I had to correspond with through one way online communication. (2) Don't expect to get much footage from your day. The videographer does the exact shot list (basically watch any video on your website because that's the exact footage you'll get) and NOTHING more. We even paid extra for a second documentary style shooter and got less than an hour of random 2-26 second shots from the entire 8 hour day! (3) The MAJOR issue with this company is that they use UNLICENSED songs in your video, which means.... ding ding ding, the product that you are paying major bucks for is ILLEGAL to have in your possession and dangerous to share online. That is, as soon as you share it to social media, you open yourself up to getting sued should someone affiliated with the artist, the record label, or your nosey trouble making cousin notices. Of course, I didn't know this until I tried to post our video on facebook and it immediately got flagged and muted because I didn't have the proper license. When I brought this to the company's attention and asked for the license information, they played dumb and avoided the issue, giving me alternative ways to post their illegal product online. Do NOT work with this company. There are plenty of other videographers that will give you a lovely and LEGAL product.

I hate to be in front of the camera but our videographer, Cody, made every shot so quick and easy. Working with him was such a fun experience and I am dying to see my finished highlight film. So happy I decided to go with a videographer!

We booked DP for our wedding on 12/29/17 in NJ. Our videographers, Eric and Anthony, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early the morning of the wedding, were totally prepared and professional. They were so friendly and accommodating, never intrusive or overbearing AT ALL. They worked so well with our photographer and it never felt like they were "battling" to get the shots they needed- half the time we didn't even notice they were there! They went above and beyond their job duties, often helping out with things that they definitely did not have to do (like offering me their coats when I was standing outside freezing my butt off during pictures!) I really cannot say enough good things about them, we were sad to say goodbye to them at the end of the night- they really were such a pleasure to work with. We received our highlight video just a few weeks after the wedding and all I can say is WOW. There are no words for how beautiful it is. It truly captured every single emotion we felt on our wedding day so perfectly. We have watched it countless times and I still find myself crying every time. Our families and friends can't stop commenting on how beautiful it is either- simply the best! We will be referring DP to all of our family/friends in the market for a videographer!

Awesome stuff! The highlight video is perfect, it turned out amazing! Being only 5 minutes, it's perfect for sharing with everyone that may want to see how your wedding was but not watch multiple hours. Aidan and his colleague (his name escapes me, sorry!!) were consummate professionals throughout the day despite sweating their tails off during an unexpectedly hot day in Cape May in mid-September, and correspondence from the other staff was prompt and professional. If you're thinking about hiring them, do it! You won't regret it!

They lost my wedding footage. Then they jerked me around for a full year and never gave me a refund or an explanation. This was the review I never wanted to write. The highlight video this company created of our wedding was gorgeous, even though there were numerous mishaps leading up to the wedding. The first videographer assigned to us didn't answer my emails when I reached out two weeks before our wedding. Then we were assigned a new one, and he didn't answer my emails either until a couple days before the wedding, and even then, he didn't reply with a final confirmation until after midnight the day of the wedding. I honestly wasn't convinced anyone was going to actually show up on the wedding day, which is exactly the kind of additional anxiety you don't need before a wedding. But he did show up, and he was excellent. And then I never got my highlight video. So I followed up two months after the wedding, and I finally got it, and although it seems like they rushed it a bit, I was still happy with that final product. But I had ordered and paid for my raw footage as well, and I discovered some time later that it wasn't on the DVD I had received (my mistake - it was supposed to be a digital download). I contacted the company one full year ago - January 2017 - to ask them to send it to me. At first, a rep named Lauren told me my footage had been found and she would send me a download link shortly. When nothing came through, I followed up and got a response from Janell in February, saying she would look into it and follow up. When I didn't hear back, I followed up again in March and got Matthew, who said the videographer had my footage and he would pass it along as soon as he could. Then I didn't hear anything, so I followed up a month later. You get the picture. I had to follow up once a month for an entire year. Matthew was very nice, but I never got a resolution. In July, I was promised a refund if the footage wasn't found, and that I'd have an answer soon. I had to follow up again twice. Finally, in September, I told Matthew I had to set a deadline of November 1 to either have my footage or a refund. He promised I'd get the refund whether or not my footage was found. Needless to say, it is now one full year later and I have neither my footage nor a refund. I followed up again in November to request the refund again, and my email was completely ignored. I understand this is a small company, but I gave them every chance to rectify this. It's impossible to believe that in ONE FULL YEAR, they could neither find my footage, figure out what happened to it, or admit they screwed up and apologize and refund me. Treating a customer this way is beyond unacceptable. And honestly, a refund isn't going to make this better. We trusted this company with capturing our wedding day, and now we can never get it back. A refund won't make up for the fact that this footage was the last video footage I would have had of my favorite uncle before he passed away earlier this year. And it's not going to make up for the year of anxiety since January trying to get answers, or how sad I am that I relied on this company and didn't choose someone who would take better care of their customers' memories. I held out hope for a year that they would find my footage and I wouldn't have to write this review, but I now feel obligated to warn others that this could happen to them.

Finding a videographer for your wedding is no joke! This is a once in a lifetime documentation and the pressure to find quality and professionalism is rare. From the moment that I contacted D.P Weddings they were thorough and personable. The best part was that the price was also in my budget. The website was user friendly and not to mention the awesome video instructions for the wedding revisions. My day of Videographer EVAN was soooo nice to all of my family and he made sure to capture all of the important moments without any direction . He just knew exactly what to do and I appreciate D.P Weddings for that. I highly recommend D.P Weddings . Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST VENDOR I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH (HANDS DOWN)!!!! My wife and I got married in September 2016 and our wedding could not have been more perfect, with the lone exception being our absolutely miserable experience dealing with D.P. We purchased their best package, which was to include a highlight video (which is billed for $1,100) and an extended, 60-120 minute "feature film" (which is billed for $705). We received the highlight video in a timely manner and were pleased with it. However, our experience was a complete nightmare after that. In late December 2016, we were provided with the final version of our highlight video and were told that our feature film would be available in 1-2 months as a result of unexpected issues with their editors. A couple of months later, I checked in on the status of the feature film (receiving no response to my first email and only hearing back after sending a follow-up email), and I was finally sent a copy to review. To say that little to no work was put into editing it is an understatement. There were portions in the video where the camera had been placed down or where the camera had been spun around or was shaking and not focused on whatever was going on at the time. They included a clip where one of the groomsmen was talking about how expensive the food at the hotel was and how he would only order room service if it was included in the tab. You get the idea. So I sent back an email to D.P. telling them that, while we fully appreciated that the same amount of detailed editing would not go into the feature film as went into the highlight video, we felt like they editing was careless and that the quality was not acceptable (and I provided several examples to them). I kindly asked them to go back through and try to edit the feature more thoughtfully. Their response was LAUGHABLE -- they stated that they included extra footage because it is easier to remove footage that we may have wanted (Iike portions where the camera had been put down?), but even worse, THEY SUGGESTED THAT IT WOULD BE "MOST EFFICIENT" FOR ME TO IDENTIFY THE TIME STAMPS IN THE FINAL EDIT THAT I WOULD LIKE REMOVED AND THE TIME STAMPS IN THE RAW FOOTAGE THAT I WOULD LIKE ADDED. So in other words, they wanted me to edit the video myself?? I responded telling them that I was paying for the video to be edited by them, not to do it myself. At this point I received an email apology from the owner of D.P. acknowledging my points and saying that he would be personally working with the editors to get everything fixed (and would include a complimentary flash drive with both films once everything was said and done). We were sent a revised feature film within a week of this correspondence, and subject to a few minor revisions (two very minor tweaks), they did a good job with the revised version. We submitted the two minor revisions, expecting them to turn things around relatively promptly. Two months later, I had not yet heard from them, sent multiple follow up emails and finally tracked someone down by phone (I was told they were having "personnel issues" which is why no one had responded to my email). Finally, on October 11, 2017, I received and approved the final feature (although allegedly my approval did not get processed, as I was told when I followed up again). Overall, a COMPLETE disaster full of nothing but excuses. There are some amazing wedding vendors out there and D.P. is not one of them. STAY AWAY

I am having a TERRIBLE experience with this company. The videographer himself was amazing at our wedding, and they were relatively prompt in giving the first draft of the highlight reel. But this is where things went downhill fast. I was married in May. It is November and I STILL have not received my revised highlight reel. That is 6 months from my wedding. For a 3-5 minute highlight video. This isn't even mentioning the feature edit. They are not answering my phone calls, and will go for months and months without responding to my (desperate, frantic) emails. I paid several thousand dollars for this videography package and this is just completely unacceptable. I've waited so long to leave this review because I really wanted the company to be able to redeem themselves. The draft version of the highlight really was beautiful, and like I said Ben the videographer was great. But all of that has just been completely undone by them NOT holding up their end of the contract and ignoring me. So disappointed.

My husband and I could not be happier! WOW! DP Weddings has an incredible talent for turning your wedding into an artistic music video that spectacularly captures the emotion of your big day. We've had so many people tell us that ours was the best wedding video they've ever seen! The staff's friendliness and organization made working with them a breeze. If you're a bride reading this because you're shopping around, don't sell this point short. It's SO important that your venders REMOVE stress from your shoulders, not add to it. This company was a breeze to work with! Ben was our videographer. He was talented, easygoing, and a joy to have around on the day of. He set up a Skype call with my husband and I a few weeks before the wedding to talk about what we were looking for and to go over in detail what he needed from us. It was immensely helpful. Also, DP was great at taking our artistic notes for how we wanted the video to feel. We asked for minimal establishing shots, directed lyric mouthing to the camera, and an overall upbeat feel. They delivered on everything, no problem! Also a note, you get to review the video, make notes, and they'll do a second pass for free. If you're looking for a long-form cut of your wedding, this might not be the avenue for you. You get one song and we picked one that was a little over 3 minutes long. I worried that would be too short, but it's brilliant how much they packed into those 3 minutes. . .without making the video feel rushed. When I think of how many times I've fast-forwarded through other people's wedding videos, I'm reminded that shorter is not always a bad thing. I'm super happy with DP Weddings and highly recommend them!

D.P. Weddings did my cousin's wedding's video and when I watched it for the first time, tears started pouring out of my eyes because it was the most beautifully shot video. The way that the wedding was captured was so authentic and emotional but also so perfectly shot (the lighting/movement/closeups/everything). This year when my now husband and I got engaged, the first thing I knew over basically anything else is that I had to have D.P. Weddings shoot our video. Knowing that they were going to shoot our video made me that much more excited to have a wedding! No joke! The day of was honestly so much fun. Our videographer showed up on time, prepared, and excited for the day ahead of us! Literally one of my favorite things about D.P. Weddings videos is the way that movement is used and our videographer guided us so perfectly through every shot and was so easy to work with. Our video is everything we ever dreamed of and more and I'm just so truly grateful that I was introduced to this wonderful company!!! HIGHLY SUGGEST THEM!

These guys made the filming process so easy. We didn’t have to worry about getting the shots we wanted. They just knew. And their footage speaks for itself! Absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

Stay away!! worst worst vendor ever! I will leave more detailed review later, but first, we've been talking to D.P weddings since March, submitted our reservation form in June. And our wedding is three weeks away and they haven't assigned our shooters yet. and now they are not answering our calls. Don't ruin your big day because of unprofessional and irresponsible vendor. Stay Away.

Hands down, the BEST vendor of our wedding. When we received our highlight video, we were BLOWN AWAY by the quality. We look like movie stars!!! The team at DP weddings are SO TALENTED....they capture the true emotions of the day. Everyone that sees it is speechless! It looks like a music video or commercial! Also, they were like ninjas at our wedding. We barely noticed they were there...yet somehow they captured the most incredible moments. You can feel the love in the film....because we didn't even realize they were filming us it comes across as genuine and REAL. Highly highly highly recommended. If you are on the fence about booking...DO IT ASAP, you won't regret it! Carrie + Austin

HIRE THEM!! Our videographer was professional and fun to work with. He caught every shot I would have wanted but he was so subtle! The highlight video is the perfect way to look back and remember all the best parts of your wedding day. You get to request a few songs that you might like it set to and then they take the best shots and create a music video-like clip that you'll want to watch over and over again! We have gotten so many compliments on the highlight video. It captures moments and feelings that you might not get from photos alone. Hiring a videographer was a last-minute decision for us and I could not be more thrilled that we decided to move forward, specifically with D.P. Weddings. They're awesome!

This is really difficult for me to write because I've never written a bad review before. It makes me uncomfortable however I just want to help this company improve and help out other brides as well. Cons: 1) I didn't realize that this was a company that was based in California and they have videographers all over the country. Not personalized at all. 2) You pay them twice throughout the process (half prior to the wedding and half once highlight video is approved) - BOTH times I paid them, there was an issue. I had to follow up both times after waiting a few weeks regarding the check I sent across the country and they made me feel like I lost it each time. As a bride, you get so anxious with all the stuff going on, this was not helpful. They finally found both payments but it was really messy. Not professional or organized. 3)The process of making an edit is a PROCESS. They showed me the complete final feature and the part where the bride is walking down the aisle - it literally showed the ceiling. Not the bride. It was shaky and it was a 2 minute shot of the ceiling. All that I asked was for them to make that edit for me. If you're watching a wedding video - you have to show the bride. Instead of just doing it, they asked me several times to log in the exact minutes of what to edit in this big spreadsheet - unnecessary work. This is an expensive package, Diamond package - The client shouldn't have to do extra work when they paid that much. I had one minor edit. Ridiculous. 4) I just received the DVDs and my wedding was 6 months ago. PROS* - The highlight video is amazing. I watch it over and over again. The quality is great, the music, everything. I love it so much. I hope this company improves in the organization department. It is such a bummer to write something like this but I had to.

I had a GREAT experience with D.P. Weddings for my wedding in Atlanta, Georgia on 10/15/2016. The highlight edit was BEYOND my expectations. I wish I could post the link on here. Our videographer was Mikael Coleman and he was so cool and chill (just like us). At one point, he forewarned us about some awkward shots he would have us do, but explained they would make the highlight video look. Boy, was he right! I completely trusted him to do what he does best and he delivered. We got the wedding highlight and raw footage approximately 10 weeks after the wedding. Communication was constant and consistent. If I ever had a question, I would get a response within 24 hours or less. They are so nice and pleasant to work with! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone! I wish they could work faster on the editing process but I can't complain because the time and effort shows in the final product. I clearly am just impatient, lol. If you are looking for a well edited, music-video style wedding highlight/ footage this will be your best bet! You will not be disappointed, I PROMISE you!

Absolutely incredible. D.P. Weddings runs on a whole other level compared to every videographer I’ve ever come across and blows them out of the water. I’ll be forever grateful I found them and they were able to capture our special day. To some, having videography is a luxury item but trust me, D.P. Weddings is worth every penny spent and so, so much more. Don’t let the best day of your life live for only a day, capture these memories so they last a lifetime in a way only a video can capture. The vision you had while you were picking out every detail of your wedding is captured along with the love and excitement felt between you, your husband, and your loved ones along with the joy and beauty of your day. They seamlessly capture all these elements and elevate your video into a beautiful, visually stunning story – the one you envisioned in your heart and you’ll want to re-live it over and over again. I was losing hope reviewing vendor after vendor, only to find the same cookie cutter videos with limited creativity. Every clip I saw was the same formula with video mostly of what the photographers were capturing already, from afar. D.P. Weddings specializes in cinema style/quality videos. Their videos play at half the speed of normal videos, creating a dreamy, romantic video, similar to music videos. You’ll look like a million bucks and definitely won’t be spending that much. They are extremely reasonable. Their process is efficient and very easy. Lauren is an absolute delight to work with. She answered all my questions very promptly and helped me feel at ease with the entire process – a testament they read and listen to their reviews. Go ahead, take one look at any of their highlight videos and fall in love.

Brilliant! I loved the whole experience with DP Weddings. When I saw their highlight videos I fell in love and knew that's what I wanted. They really know how to edit it in a way that you really feel the love and connection of the bride and groom. The quality of the video is amazing as well. We felt like we were back in the room that day. Jason was such a great guy to work with, friendly and easy going. Can't wait to share the video with all my friends and family! Thank you DP Weddings! It was my goal to find the perfect videographer for my wedding and I absolutely found it with dp weddings! They captured our wedding in such a perfect way and I couldn't be happier! The highlight film is such a perfect way for us to look back on that day and the film captures every little detail and important moment so beautifully! Our videographer Ryan was the sweetest and very professional throughout our entire day! The best decision was that we hired them for our wedding! We really cannot say enough good things about Justin from D.P. Wedding! From the moment we video-chatted for our first meeting I was obsessed. My husband is the kind of guy that will go along with anything I want but even he was really impressed with Justin's professionalism and the finished video. What you get is really high end hollywood movie quality and we couldn't be happier with our end product. Justin came early to the hotel. He was able to capture the day so beautifully. If you are even questioning hiring D.P. Wedding for your big day STOP and just book already!! You will not be sorry!!!

My wife and I had a great experience with Aaron and DP Weddings! Camryn was prompt and very helpful in getting everything ready to go and answering all of our questions leading up to the wedding. We were also in touch with our videographer, Aaron, and Skyped with him prior to go over details, what to expect at the wedding, etc. On the day of the wedding, we were impressed with Aaron's abilities to seamlessly work around our photographer while also being efficient during dedicated video shots. We received our video in less than 3 weeks! It was professionally and well edited, exactly what we wanted and truly captured the day. Such a great piece to share with family/friends and relive the day. It wasn't until we started watching the raw footage that we realized how valuable it was to have. Being able to see your spouse getting ready, the wedding party walk down the aisle, or everyone having a great time on the dance floor provided a great perspective and way to remember the day.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience with D.P. Weddings! To start, all of our communications with their manager/client relations gal, Camryn, were so quick, kind, and informative. And our videographer, Ben, did an absolutely fantastic job. He completely answered all of our questions in our Skype session prior to our wedding day, arrived early the day of, and was so personable and professional during the whole experience. He made us feel completely comfortable and added to the fun we had that day. :) Our edited video was delivered to us within one month (so much earlier than I had anticipated, considering how much work goes into post-production.) We LOVE it! Can't stop watching it! If we had to do it all again, we would hire D.P. Weddings again in a heartbeat.

Nothing but the Best My husband and I had the great luck to have scheduled our wedding on 1/23/16 in New Hope, PA... the same day as the blizzard of 2016. Justin and Brandon were assigned to our wedding and Justin kept in contact with me ahead of the day. He promised to be there despite the storm. Good thing he was prepared. They wound up being snowed in with us during the state of emergency! Despite our wedding being postponed to the following day, Justin and Brandon made sure they were there and took amazing shots. The turn around for our wedding day music video was extremely fast. The quality is amazing and we must say the snow was a bonus that made everything look a bit more magical. We are super impressed with DP Weddings, their staff and all their communication was on point. We are beyond happy and highly recommend them!!

It was really important to me to have a good wedding videographer, so booking DP Weddings was one of the first things I did, once I started wedding planning. We got married at a vineyard in NJ and had the pleasure of Eric being our videographer - he was great from the moment I first started being in contact with him, right through to delivering the most incredible highlight video and also feature video. We didn't want someone who was going to detract from us just being able to enjoy our wedding day and Eric and his assistant were perfect - in fact, we barely noticed them at all (and Eric had already checked in, by phone, prior to the day to find out what we were looking for / anything we specifically wanted included in the video etc.) The whole experience couldn't be faulted but the real treat came when we were sent our highlight video.... I always knew it was going to be good, based on all the examples I'd seen online but I was totally blown away by just how perfect it was. It felt like our whole day had been captured in about three and a half minutes and the footage selection worked so well with the music. I can't recommend DP Weddings enough and now just need to find some other event that I can use as an excuse to hire them again, so that I can have another highlight video!!!

DP weddings did an AMAZING job capturing our wedding day! As a working video editor myself, I was VERY picky when deciding on a videographer. I was so tired of seeing 12 minute wedding videos that were all exactly the same. When I found DP Weddings, I knew immediately that they were my top choice! It took a lot to convince my fiance that paying for a videographer wad just as important as a photographer... but after he watched the finished video for the first time he said to me, "you have never been more right about something". They were able to capture every important piece and the overall feel of the wedding, while keeping it short and sweet! And the editing is beautiful! 10/10 would recommend.

I literally cannot say enough about DP Weddings. I would absolutely consider them the best value, and the best vendor overall from my big day. I LOVED Peter!! He was so nice and laid back and easy to work with. He literally introduced himself to us and then hid behind the scenes, I barely noticed him the whole day, he caught moments that I didn't even know he was there for - but I'm so glad he was! When he was interacting with us, he had the best personality. My anxious and nervous husband who threatened all vendors who came near him (out of nervousness!) while he was getting ready even loved him! Afterwards, the finished product could not have been ANY better. It perfectly captured the emotions of our day. My friends and family, and myself, cried when we saw it; it was so beautiful. I'm so happy that I'll have this to show my kids and grandkids the beauty of our wedding day! Thank you so much, DP Weddings!!!

We loved working with D.P. Weddings recently! The team was so accommodating to all of our requests, and they shot our wedding with an attention to detail and an effort to capture all of the most important moments. They made us feel comfortable the whole way through and really found the right moments. We'll always appreciate their amazing footage.

I can't express how happy I was when viewing the final highlight video. DP Weddings is for sure the best vendor we've had for our nyc wedding in August. Jason is our videographer and he is absolutely amazing, not only professional and talented, but also funny, encouraging and understanding. He is the best person and all of my guests liked him, especially my mom ;) The editing team is good too. The final video is beautifully shot and edited with so many interesting details I don't even remember from our big day. My only little complain is it took them two and half months to have it ready for us. But I think that might because they are having a busy summer time. Comparing to the quality of their service, I don't mind it at all.

I wish i could give these guys 10 stars. DP weddings did such an amazing job on our wedding video. I literally re-lived every moment of my wedding day through their highlight. They had us in tears of joy all over again. Our videographer Justin was so pleasant and easygoing we forgot the camera was there most of the time. And Aaron and Haily did an amazing job with editing the highlight. All our friends and family cannot stop raving about how beautifully they captured and showcased every special moment of our big day. Our caterer, our DJ and all their staff who are all in the wedding industry and see so many of these videos were all very impressed with DP Wedding work. I can't say enough good things about them.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I had a wonderful experience with DP Weddings' videographers. They were so flexible and accommodating. The video was absolutely stunning! Everyone I have shown my video too loves it almost as much as I do! Having this video is truly a treasure. One thing I absolutely LOVED about DP Weddings was how accommodating they were. I got my original highlight video and sadly, my mom didn't make it in to a single shot. My father-in-law was also only seen in the distant background. I completely understood how this could happen seeing as how the person editing the footage isn't the same person that spent the whole day with our families. I emailed Haily, DP's client relations specialist, my concern with having my mom and father-in-law not in our wedding video. She promptly responded that they would work on fixing this (I sent her pictures to show what they looked like). Literally, 30 minutes later and I had a new and updated wedding video with my mom and father-in-law in it!! Absolutely amazing!! Their customer service is incredible. The video is incredible. Not sure what else I can say about it! We are elated!!

We could not be happier with DP Weddings. Doug was our videographer and he did a wonderful job capturing our emotion throughout the day. The finished product was absolutely stunning. So thrilled we made the decision to book DP Weddings!

When we found D.P. weddings we were very excited by the price, quality of videos we saw on the website and overall value of the service. My husband and I have no doubts that this was, at the time of booking, the quality we were going to get. Boy were we wrong. We have had several issues with this company. Customer service is just awful and has gotten steadily worse. My name, in all of the correspondences over the past year was never spelled correctly (despite my signature on every email), the new client relations manager is rude and very unhelpful, and they changed the time that they would be arriving on my wedding day late the night before without clearing it with me. This added extra stress on an already stressful day and they also left without letting us know that they were going to be leaving and did very little directing the day of. I wish I could say that we had new videographers working on the wedding but Aaron (the owner) was one of them. When we finally received our video (3-5 minute highlight), it was nowhere near the quality that is advertised on the website. We later found out that it was edited by a new editing team (or editor). When we complained, the owner and customer service manager were both combative and rude in their responses. We have decided that we are going to hire someone else to edit our video as soon as we get the raw footage because honestly the video is not reflective of our day at all and is quite embarrassing. Unfortunately, we are still paying $750 for "overhead" that is associated with the making of these edits. Overall, this has been an awful process and this company is by far the worst vendor that I used for my wedding (other than David's Bridal-but that's a story for another day). I would warn you that this company has changed and it is going downhill in every way.

Booking D.P. Weddings was seriously one of the best decisions we made for our Nov. 2014 wedding. When we were searching for videographers we noticed that there weren't many quality teams who are reasonably priced. If you saw someone who was super cheap it usually went that their videos were the same way, cheap. And then there were high quality teams whose videos were gorgeous but were asking for close to $5,000 or more for a mere 6 hours of filming. But by sheer luck, we found D.P. Weddings. First, booking was super easy. Just a couple of emails with the owner Aaron to confirm availability & a signed contract and we were set. We didn't even need to pay a deposit which was very helpful when you're paying half of the contract costs for most of the other vendors up front. When the big day came and Ben & his assistant Katie showed up to my mother's house I knew we were going to be in great hands. Ben was completely professional but at the same time very warm and friendly, it really felt like we had a friend filming us instead of a hired professional. Both Ben & Katie understood that working someone's wedding is much more than a business contract, you're helping people build beautiful memories that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I loved how no matter where we were or what was happening, my husband & I never felt like we had a camera lens up our noses. The filming was very discreet and smooth, several of our family members made comment of Ben's "fancy footwork" as he floated from one spot to another. Everything about the experience of working with D.P. Weddings was beyond expectation. From the efficient and easy booking, to the fun and memorable filming, to the resulting gorgeous video we received. Everyone that we have shared our video with has made comments of how amazing it turned out. We even had a few friends say that wanted to get married just to have a video like ours. Affordable, professional, efficient and friendly. Seriously, hire them!

DP Weddings is absolutely AMAZING! Aaron and Reid flew out to NJ for my wedding this past November. First off, they made the process of getting them there incredibly easy for me. I never felt like I had to worry about them being “out of towners”. I worked directly with Aaron on all the details of the day. So many people at the wedding said they didn’t even realize I had videographers there because they were not at all “in your face”, which was very important to me. On the day of the wedding, we were just so impressed with how easy they were to work with and how much we enjoyed having them there! But the REAL amazement came after we received our wedding highlight video…. I mean, wow. I don’t have the words to fully describe how utterly amazing the 4.5min video was that they made for us. They somehow captured all the feelings and joy of that day and night. It made me (and all my friends/family) laugh, cry, and want to do it all over again! It is the most professional and wedding video I have ever seen. My friends and family are still all raving about it. And they were able to get it to me a mere 2 weeks after my wedding. So all in all, a really amazing experience. Aaron was an absolute dream to work with. And I couldn’t be any happier with the service they provided for us, on the wedding day and after. I’ve recommended them to all of my friends, so they might be having to make another trip out to NJ soon!

Working with DP Weddings was one of the best decisions we have made during our wedding planning! After we watched one of their videos, we ended up watching all of the posted videos over and over...we were hooked! We just knew we had to have them!!! No one else even came close! Video and Photo cost took a large part of our destination wedding budget already, and the decision to spent more money to fly in the DP Weddings team to Mexico was not an easy one...but man, it was so, so WORTH IT! Our married friends told us: "at the end of the day, after all the fun of our wedding day...all you will be left with are you memories (which will fade), pictures and video. And most of the people that couldn't make it to your wedding will want to see the wedding highlight video, not your 500 photos...do not save the money of that, it will be all you will have left from your big day!" Sooooo spot on.... And our highlight video is the true testament to that! We have watched it over 30 times! We have showed it (I don't even know how many times) to EVERYONE that have not made it to the wedding! And all of our guests are madly in love with it! All we keep hearing is "WOOOW, it looks like a commercial!", "it can't be real, no one's wedding is this beautiful"...Well, our video is real and it's so amazing! Working with DP Weddings was such a breeze. Starting with the booking, through all the travel bookings we had to do, wedding day and to the post production: super professional, great communication, easy to work with and an amazing delivery time! During the wedding the guys were practically invisible, like ninjas: we never noticed them, but somehow they captured all of the best moments!!! If they are available on your wedding day, book them asap...you will not regret it!!! We can not recommend them enough, absolutely amazing experience all around!

I first met Aaron from DP Weddings when I tagged along with my sister in law to meet with wedding videographers. I originally wasn't planning on getting a videographer because I was already over budget and thought a video was a splurge/luxury I didn't need. After meeting with Aaron and going over his portfolio of videos, I knew I had to book him. He was so outgoing, responsive, and most importantly...talented! I've seen other highlight videos before and don't get impressed easily. Many of them seem to be all the same and basically photographs on film and played to music. You know...when the videographer just records the poses that the photographer is already taking and then playing them to music with a few extra scenes. Aaron and DP Weddings is the absolute opposite of this cliché. They really have an eye and capture all those special moments on film for you to remember your wedding experience. And the editing is so amazing and fast! The turn around for wedding highlights is truly impressive. He worked with me on every little detail to make sure the video is what I wanted and was so easy to work with. The final product was everything I dreamed. I can't help but watch my wedding highlight over and over again. When you have your wedding, the day goes by so fast and you feel you didn't have enough time to enjoy your big day. After watching my video, it brought all the memories back and even caught special moments that I didn't even notice that day and captured the spirit of my wedding. When I look back on our wedding expenses, I can say with confidence that D.P. Weddings videography is worth every penny! Aaron truly gave us the best value and experience we could have asked for. What makes D.P. Weddings stand out from the rest is that they come prepared with creative direction. For those of you who may feel awkward in front of a camera, Aaron knows how to tell you exactly what to do without losing the genuine feel of the moment. I was amazed at how well he worked with the photographers and our other vendors! I never had to worry about helping them coordinate. While we were dancing at the wedding I looked over and saw that he had a monitor set up playing a sneak peak of our highlight video! It was a huge hit with our guests. Just a few days later on our honeymoon we got an email with our finished highlight video! We couldn't believe how soon it was done! We watch our video over and over again and I honestly believe that no one else could have captured / edited our day better that Aaron and his team. It is very clear that wedding videography is not just work to D.P. Weddings...it is their passion and true joy! Why would you hire anyone else???

D.P. Weddings did an amazing job shooting footage of our wedding at La Venta Inn. The style is just beautiful and their prices are extremely reasonable! Ben was our videographer and he did a fantastic job capturing all the important moments and even the little details too. Very professional. Aaron was great at corresponding with us and answering questions promptly. We are so happy we chose D.P. Weddings and I highly recommend them!

Our highlights video is awesome. It was ready less than two weeks after the wedding, even before we got back from our honeymoon! Aaron is just starting out so his prices are extremely reasonable. His work is amazing. It was hard to contact them at first, but after booking them and through the editing process their communication with me got better. Our wedding coordinator pointed me in their direction. I knew I had to had them after viewing their sample videos and comparing them to other vendors. They arrived on time at our wedding and stayed until the end. They had no time restrictions on their contract which was great for us since we had a full Catholic ceremony.

Just got my Highlight Video and it's absolutely AMAZING, it brought tears to my eyes all over again, every moment was captured beautifully, couldn't ask for more, I went in expecting a good job but they're more than good, they're GREAT, they captured that really meant a lot to both my husband and I, our family loved it so much they want to see it again and can't wait to see the actual video....
