my's attention to detail to capture the little moments is what we now have in our photos to reflect back on for years to come. We also had Amy's brother as our videographer which we will cherish forever. This crew photographed 2 of my cousin's weddings and I knew by seeing how organized they were and how beautiful the photos came out that I wanted them for my wedding as well. We were so lucky to book them early because their schedule does fill up fast! Now I just need to find another excuse to hire them so we can hang out again!

During the wedding day, they were all that I could ask for.. directional, fun, entertaining and on point. Amy's eye for a great view and picture is dynamic and Dusty is such a fun guy. They just got a new drone right before our wedding and the pictures and video are to die for. All together, a phenomenal team and I couldn't thank them enough for the outstanding work they've done. t a bridal expo and was thrilled they had our wedding date available (they book quickly). During the months leading up to the wedding, Amy and Dusty took the "photography reigns" and quickly proved their expertise (helping with photo combos, suggesting location and time of day for photos, etc). They were in constant communication with us, and responded quickly by email or phone to any questions we had. I loved the fact that Drozian is a husband and wife team. This meant Amy could capture the bridal party photos and vice versa for Dusty. Through out the wedding I had two photographers and a videographer there to capture every moment. They missed nothing! One compliment I continue to receive from family and friends-- Amy and Dusty took charge and gave direction the entire wedding day in order to capture moments and combos (If your photographer fails to have this skill, moving along your wedding party for photo combos will be like herding cats). Just weeks after our wedding, I have 700+ of the most beautiful wedding photos I had ever seen (editing and printing rights too!). I look at them over and over again, and tear up remembering the best day of my life. Amy, Dusty and Austin are one of a kind and felt like family by the end of it all. I have referred them to all my friends with weddings to come-they are simply the best!

Amy and Dusty have been such a joy to work with through this entire process, from discussing options and packages (Dusty was so helpful and friendly over the phone), to having our Engagement Photos taken (they were able to get us to relax and enjoy the process), to our wedding day (absolute perfection at capturing the day). They are highly responsive, professional, and friendly. We just got our photos back and they are all absolutely incredible! We could not be any happier with our experience and the final product. I knew when I was looking at different photographers, there was a specific style that I was leaning towards, and Amy and Dusty fully embodied that style. I wanted photos that would help us remember the day as it was. I didn’t want something that was overly stylized or photo shopped. Looking at our final photos, they perfectly captured the day, the feeling, and the atmosphere of our wedding. All our family and friends that have seen the photos have said that they don’t envy our task ahead—narrowing down all the photos for our album. And they are right!

deography they were super helpful the day of our wedding. Dusty was like a wedding magician: tied the groom's bow tie and fixed a button that fell off the tux! He adjusted my veil and even knew how to bustle my dress!! Dusty and Amy took the effort and time to get the details up front- timeline, names of family members and wedding party so that on our wedding day they were able to call everyone by name and get through the family shots super fast during cocktail hour. They were creative with our photos and got amazing shots we would have never thought of. There are lots of talented photographers out there but Amy and Dusty are so much more than that. They not only take the best pictures and capture the essence of your day but make you feel happy and comfortable throughout the process. They kept us on schedule without feeling rushed and helped us enjoy our day throughout the process. Hands down the best experience we could have ever wished for on our wedding day and the best part is the pictures are forever!

on our wedding day. When we finished taking pictures before our ceremony, he made sure that I drank water and even offered me a snack. They were able to take incredible shots, while making friends with our families and wedding party. I'm still not sure how they remember names like they do. During our planning call, Dusty told me that he would have our family photos complete in 15 minutes. Our family photos were organized, quick, and efficient. I really appreciated Amy and Dusty organizing this and giving us more time to enjoy the cocktail hour. All of our families commented on how efficient they were. They sent our wedding pictures and highlight video within a month of our wedding, SO fast! The pictures and videos made us cry harder than we did on our wedding day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer and can't thank them enough for their beautiful work.

ty's availability. We cannot say enough times how thankful we are that we used Drozian Photoworks! I was worried because Amy and Dusty live in Northern California. Being in San Francisco, I was worried they may not be interested or would add crazy travel fees. They not only were interested but they made it the best and easiest process. We were married in October but met with them in April for our engagement session. I rented a VW van from Vantigo for our engagement session because I wanted pictures from a lot of San Francisco locations and knew my fiancé would not be excited with having to drive and park in multiple locations. Vantigo took away the stress of everything and made our engagement photos the most fun experience possible. Amy and Dusty were completely onboard with us doing the rental. We all rode together and had a great time. It rained the day of our engagement photos. They never once complained about the weather. Our engagement photos were amazing. They looked like they belonged in a magazine! I emailed Amy and Dusty numerous times with questions. They were always so responsive and informative. I called them at one point to ask who I should use for hair and makeup. I was receiving the most crazy quotes from MUAs in the bay area. They suggested two vendors they really liked in the area. One was Teri Lacro from Charismatic Bride. I ultimately went with her and was so pleased with the results! The week before the wedding, we had a quick call to touch base. We discussed the schedule for the day. They even agreed to come an hour earlier so they could get pictures of the guys getting clean shaves. The pictures from that are some of my favorite! Amy, Dusty, and the two of us reviewed our photo list and the schedule. I wanted pictures of everyone and every detail. I also wanted pictures of all the tables but they helped us realize how much time it would take if we were in each one. So instead, Amy and Dusty took pictures of every table, just minus us in each of them, and they are all amazing! They basically directed the timeline. It was perfect! We received so many compliments from guests about how they loved Amy and Dusty, and how on top of everything they were. We have now received our wedding pictures and I am SO IN LOVE! I tried to pick my top 75 but could only narrow it down to 145. They took so many amazing photos. I initially loved 400+ and then worked to edit them down even more. We are awaiting our video footage but I know that it will be just as amazing as their photos. We truly cannot say enough about Amy and Dusty. I am actually extremely sad that we won't be interacting regularly in 2018. They became some of my favorite people of 2017. We highly recommend them! You will never regret your decision if you book them!

on the phone going over all the details and answering every question in detail. I knew from the moment I saw their videos online that I wanted to use them. I was scared that they would be too expensive based on the quality but the price was very reasonable. For the quality you are getting you cannot beat their prices. When it came to the day of our wedding, they acted as coordinators, you know one that you pay thousands of dollars for, but they did it because they are that amazing. Our wedding day ran like clock work. We got married in a Church, took pictures outside at a different venue and had the reception at a third location. With all that movement, Amy and Dusty kept us on time and we were never late. When it came to taking pictures in the Church, they called out each of the combinations of people with such efficiency that we were in awe. At the reception they were constantly making sure my glass was filled (flagging down the waiter), making sure we ate and kept us on track when we took pictures with each table (NOT an easy task). Amy even sat me down at the end to make sure I ate a piece of cake! We really attribute Amy and Dusty to making sure everything in our wedding went as smooth as possible and made sure we enjoyed it all along the way. If we could get married again we would pick Drozian a 1000 times over!

ive them our highest recommendation! Details: We learned about Drozian through my husband’s good friend who hired them for his wedding. It was great to see them in action during the wedding and their photos were stunning! We contacted them and they set up a Skype/Facetime meeting so that we could meet them and learn about their services. We were immediately struck by their warmth, passion and professionalism. A month or so before the wedding we had a phone meeting with Dusty to talk details before the big day! We discussed timeline and different photos we were hoping for. We also appreciated that he asked about the various groups/combos we wanted to photograph. He and Amy are super experienced and provided helpful guidance leading up to and during the big day. The day of the wedding they were joined by Amy’s brother Austin who was also super nice. Throughout the entire wedding day, Amy and Dusty were sooooo wonderful and attentive. It seemed like one or both of them were always near us, kindly offering us water and/or food or asking if they could help in any way. Amy even held my lip gloss and Dusty printed my vows at the hotel business center! They are so fun, funny and relaxed that it really helped calm my nerves and made the day all the more enjoyable. And anytime we hoped to have something captured on camera, they were right there! Our guests commented on how Amy, Dusty and Austin were so present and involved, i.e. if they wanted to take a group shot, usually one of them was an arm’s reach away. They made themselves so available, which we really appreciated. After the wedding, we missed them a lot and wanted to hang out with them more! We consider them our friends now and I know my husband’s friend does as well! Following the event, Amy and Dusty sent us some sneak peek photos within a few days of the wedding, which was so fun! They then sent all our wedding pics and flash drive just a few weeks later. The photos are STUNNING and we love their mix of black and white and color photos. Their framing and compositions are outstanding. They are truly gifted at what they do and we are so grateful to them that we have all of these precious moments captured in these beautiful photos!! We love you Amy and Dusty! (And Austin too!) :) Thank you for everything!!!! PS I fell flat on my face at one point while dancing and they rushed over to help me up!! They are so caring!! <3

looking for a photographer, we remembered them instantly! So glad that we did!! The process was so informative and easy working with Amy and Dusty. They were responsive and thoroughly answered all of our questions and did not push us to make any quick decisions. For our engagement session, we told them the vibe we were looking for, and they picked the perfect spot! For the wedding, even though they had not shot at our particular venue, they had been to the area frequently, did online research and viewed lots of Google maps street views and found incredible places for us to take Bride & Groom shots as well as Wedding Party and Family. They stayed on top of the timeline and when I knew the wedding was getting close and I should be reaching out to them with information, they were already reaching out to me - they not only helped plan the photography timeline, but in doing so, helped my pull together the rest of the wedding timeline! We (B&G) sometimes got a bit lost, but they helped make the process so easy for us. During the wedding, they acted as not only the photographers but day of coordinators. Dusty was always making sure we had food/drinks throughout the wedding (he made sure to see to it that we got to try our signature drink ASAP!). Amy took all our accessories that we had discussed ahead of time and took beautiful shots that I would have never even dreamed of! They are also incredibly efficient, which was so important to me (we didn't want to spend all day JUST taking pictures). We had our list of family photo's and got them done in no time so we could go enjoy the cocktail hour and get to see our guests more. Lastly, and most importantly - the photo's for both the engagement pictures and ESPECIALLY the wedding are INCREDIBLE!!! We got them much quicker than we would have expected and they are just beautiful. We can't stop going over and over them and some of the moments they captured are to die for. We hysterically laugh every time we some some of the crazy dancing pictures and facial expressions that they captured. How do they do it?! We also asked them to do a video, fairly last minute before the wedding, and with no problem, they brought along another cameraman, Austin to also capture some video footage. It is so fun to watch the highlight video and in just 3-4 minutes it really captures the whole wedding. We just love it and will cherish it forever. We can't thank Drozian enough for really capturing our big day so that we can look back and remember this amazing day forever!!

ay ... use Drozian Photoworks! Engagement: They were pros! They know the bay area so well and knew exactly where to take us to capture the perfect shots. We shot in two locations and did a great job making each location unique and captured different shots in each location. Boudoir: I can not say enough about Amy and my boudoir shot. Amy did my hair and makeup, made me feel comfortable and took some absolutely incredible photos. I am not comfortable in front of the camera at all, but Amy really made me feel like a pro and made me look and feel beautiful. I kept this shoot as a secret from my husband until the big day and surprised him with some beautiful photos that he loves. Wedding: We had a two day wedding and Amy and Dusty were by our side the entire time. In addition to taking wonderful photos capturing the day, our guests and overall ambiance of the events, they were attentive and continued checking in on us to make sure we had what we needed, were fed and were most of all having fun.

to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable, that when my husband and I got engaged, we immediately hired them for our own wedding and engagement photos. I knew their photos were outstanding and they were super cool people, but as we went through the process of planning our wedding I realized just how helpful and organized they were and how much stress they relieved by making everything so easy! They took all of the awkwardness out of posing for photos and made us laugh and really enjoy our engagement session. Once the wedding rolled around, they kicked into high gear not only as photographers, but they worked seamlessly with our DJ and our coordinator to make sure we were exactly where we needed to be, or wanted to be, throughout the whole night. They made sure we had drinks, and food, and were completely taken care of. They even helped me pack my suitcase at the end of the wedding when I realized it was almost our grand exit and I hadn't gathered my belongings to move from the house at the venue to our honeymoon suite. We just recently received our wedding photos and video (just a short few weeks after the wedding) and I can't stop staring at how well they captured the beauty of the best day ever. They really caught every moment of the day so I feel like I am re-living the experience each time I go through the albums. The video shows my husbands face and reaction as he saw me walk down the aisle and having the opportunity to see this priceless moment in time whenever I choose is the best feeling ever! I could go on in a novel about how great these two are and how they really made our day just perfect. Best decision we ever made hands down. f the biggest decisions of wedding planning. My then fiancé and I spent weeks looking for photographers on the Knot until Drozian Photoworks emailed their way into our lives. They offered everything we were looking for: all day coverage with 2 photographers, multiple packages to choose from (that were affordable), they did videography, engagement shoots, offered photo albums etc. and they were kind and welcoming and of course their pictures were beautiful. Saying yes to having them as our photographers was honestly the best decision we made. Amy and Dusty are very responsive to emails. They will treat you more than just clients; they will treat you like friends. When we met them at our engagement photo shoot in Napa, we got a sense of what our wedding day would be like. They made us feel comfortable, Dusty made us laugh with his many jokes and Amy was kind and attentive. Her attention to detail was excellent, whether it was fixing my hair or noticing that my necklace clasp was showing. When we got our engagement photos back we were blown away. They were perfect! On the big day, Amy and Dusty arrived promptly as scheduled. They immediately came up to me, asked how I slept, how I was feeling and if I had eaten anything. They began taking pictures of everyone and everything. They laughed with my bridesmaids and made sure they were eating and drinking as well. My fiancé and I were both surprised that they had memorized the names of our families and our entire wedding party (which wasn't small, total of 19 people). Until this day our friends and family still talk about our photographers and how awesome they were! Amy and Dusty were very attentive to our needs ALL day long! During cocktail hour, while taking our post ceremony pictures, they brought us over 2 beers and a plate of appetizers and even made sure no food was stuck in our teeth for the pictures. Like they promised, they stayed for all the important events and left when everyone started to get sweaty from dancing and tipsy from the open bar (probably around 10pm, which made it probably a 12-13 hour day for them). We got our sneak peek of 20ish pictures 4-5 days after the. I truly cried seeing how beautiful the pictures were and how amazing the day had turned out! A few short weeks later we got the rest of our pictures in the mail on a nifty little USB stick and we were absolutely amazed. The little things you forget about or that go unnoticed, Amy and Dusty will capture. It was like reliving the day all over again! The icing on the cake was our video! It was so much fun to watch. Amy and Dusty are just down right great people. They have love and passion for their job, their clients and photography and it's palpable. I am so thankful that we found Drozian Photoworks. They were a huge part of our wedding day. They made it extra special and we can look back on their beautiful photos and cherish the memories forever. Thank you again Amy and Dusty, you are best. As things changed leading up to the day, the adjusted accordingly and they were always so easy to communicate with. I instantly felt that they were as invested in my wedding as I was. Our wedding day arrived and Amy and Dusty showed up to start taking getting ready pictures with me and my bridesmaids. They fit in seamlessly with our group and were the perfect mix of quietly moving about the house taking pictures of the rings, shoes, etc. while also making friends with everyone. They had my bridesmaids’ names memorized instantly (along with giving them amazing nicknames), and they helped us all maintain a sense of calm while also keeping us on track with our schedule. They were prepared with everything from every colored bobby pin to water and snacks, and they made sure that I was taking time to drink water and eat my lunch. Throughout our ceremony and reception, Amy and Dusty were stellar. They made sure that my husband and I always had everything that we needed- from drinks to passing messages along to our coordinator, they were on it, and they were anticipating my every need. When my bustle broke, Amy was right there helping me fix it while Dusty fanned me with a piece of paper (I was dancing hard and sweating a lot). They made the process of taking family pictures after the ceremony (something I was looking forward to the least) SO easy. Dusty controlled the process but with a great sense of humor, and they directed the group as if they had known our grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins forever. They were always present, but they were never in the way. We just received our pictures last week, and the final product really sealed the deal for me. Our pictures are amazing. They not only captured every moment beautifully, but they also captured my husband’s and my personality, the personalities of our families and guests, and the feeling of the wedding. I will be insisting that all of my friends work with Amy and Dusty for their weddings, and I’ll be searching for an excuse to work with them again. I feel like we became close friends and my husband, parents, bridesmaids, and I all talk about how much we miss them. While planning my wedding, I didn’t realize what a catalyst your photographer can be. I am so lucky that we decided to work with Amy and Dusty because they were the catalyst that make our wedding exceed all of my expectations. I am forever grateful for them.

nly do they take beautiful photos, they are amazing individuals. My fiancé and I were tough critics when it came to considering photographers. Our wedding photos were the one thing that had to be perfect. Just by looking at their work, it's obvious Amy and Dusty are great, but after talking to them, I just knew they were the right photographers for us. Amy and Dusty essentially ran the show the day of our wedding. As any bride and groom will tell you, your wedding day is going to be so overwhelming, busy, hectic (and still wonderful), but you will barely have time to think. Amidst the whirlwind of events, Amy and Dusty kept calm, provided advice, reminded us to smile when we got stressed beforehand, and even coordinated with other vendors to ensure our day was the absolute best it could be. Their positive attitude, willingness to assist with anything (literally anything) and their professionalism, were outstanding. Not only are we raving about them, so are our bridal party members and even our guests. And that was even before we saw the amazing photos! When we did get our photos back from them, I was just a few photos in and I was in tears. They had beautifully captured everything we had hoped for and more. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos and the memories they will remind us of for a lifetime.

We were not super pleased with our wedding coordinator, but the wedding went off without a hitch because Amy and Dusty made everything happen perfectly. They were helpful with every detail, including putting in my veil, taking out the veil, randomly having bobby pins for my bridesmaids, helping the groomsmen figure out their boutonnieres, herding our huge families for extended family photos, and making sure we "smiled like we meant it" so that our photos wouldn't look fake and awkward (neither of us are very comfortable in front of a camera). To this day, my family, friends, and even our wedding guests still rave about how great our photographers were! Our package also included the engagement session, which is absolutely worth doing. It allowed us to get to know Amy and Dusty ahead of time so we weren't nervous around them on the big day. Truly, you cannot make a better choice than booking Drozian for your wedding!

literally caught our wedding day from start to finish and did not miss a detail. The raw emotion, the happiness, the laughter, the guests, the sequence of events and surprises! I had really set up a lot of personal details for the wedding day and had two big surprises for my husband. That captured pictures of all of the details and caught my husband crying during the big surprise as well as the crowds reaction. Unbelievable. Throughout the wedding they were checking in with me, remembered everyone's names in my bridal party and made everyone comfortable. Our wedding party was very impressed. This is one area you do not want to skimp on as they help provide memories for a lifetime. I cannot recommend them enough.

hat, the photos they got for our engagement shoot and wedding are all amazing. Everyone that's seen them have told us they're the best wedding photos they've ever seen. For our engagement photos, we were both nervous about how they would turn out, but they made the entire shoot so easy. They absolutely know what they're doing and when we got our photos back, they were beyond anything we could have imagined. Once we saw our engagement photos, we couldn't wait to have them photograph our wedding! Come the wedding day, they were on time, so much fun, and they knew the names of our family members, wedding party, and everyone else involved! They captured the entire day in the most amazing way. They captured emotions, reactions, and moments of not just my husband and myself, but our guests as well. At the reception, they were phenomenal. They had shots already planned when we met with them for more photos before cocktail hour and everything went smoothly and quickly. They coordinated with our on-site coordinator, the DJ, and my cousin that emceed the reception. They had a ton of fun with the guests, and everyone commented on how much they loved our photographers. Not only were they busy snapping away all night, they made sure everything went smoothly as planned. My husband said a few days before we received our wedding photos that the wedding wasn't as clear in his memory anymore now that a couple of weeks had passed. As soon as we got our photos, he re-lived it all over again, including some moments that we had no clue were even happening but Amy and Dusty caught them! We've recommended them to everyone we know and will continue to do so. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made, and we would hire them again if we had a chance.

Both of my friends had spoken very highly of this photography duo, so even before my husband and I chose our wedding date, we contacted Drozian to see which dates THEY had available. The first time we met Amy and Dusty was at our engagement shoot, and I was incredibly nervous because I don't feel like I take great pictures. However, they made us laugh and feel at ease, and I loved the photos we got back. We didn't look overly posed, and the candid shots were amazing (half of the pictures I didn't even know they had taken!). Then it came to our wedding day, and I was so glad that we hired them. They were incredibly helpful, and I was impressed with how much effort they put in BEFORE the wedding to make sure that our big day ran smoothly and efficiently. They took the time to understand the various family relationships/dynamics, and they knew exactly who was supposed to be in each picture and when, so our cocktail/photo hour really only lasted an hour (not running way behind like other weddings I've been to). We got married in November 2015, and our photos were ready in December 2015. Again, I was so happy with the quality and quantity of the photos taken, and I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to get them edited. We got our physical wedding album this week (2/18/15), and it is gorgeous. Some final thoughts... aside from their beautiful work and experience with wedding photography, I was/am incredibly thankful that they were always quick to get back to us anytime we had questions or needed to talk about wedding details. They made me feel like they really love their work, and that they were happy to work with us. Overall our experience was amazing, and I will definitely be using them for maternity/family pictures - whenever that time comes. Thank you Amy and Dusty!

As a bride, they made sure I was taken care of and I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing because they were helping calm me down and even helping my mom set up the reception. Amy and dusty went above and beyond for us. They were prepared for anything and even had extra advil (from a headache, not from drinking...yet). Throuout the reception they helped me get my food so I wouldn't ruin my dress and we're so attentive to our needs when we finally got to sit down and eat. ks: 1) Having a TEAM of photographers means no details go un-noticed. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Jamie, move that piece of hair behind you," or other details they noticed in the camera that I would not have noticed. When one of them is busy shooting pictures of you and your new husband, the other is either shooting the same shot but from a different angel, or is capturing amazing moments happening elsewhere at your wedding. 2) Doing an engagement session with Amy & Dusty means planning the SECOND most romantic day of your life. I include the engagement session in this review because, for us, Amy & Dusty set the stage for us to truly enjoy this special time before our big day. First of all, they traveled to Donner Lake for us, because they knew how much we wanted to capture that special place that represents so much of our story. On top of that, they actually STUDIED my Pinterest Board of engagement picture ideas and showed us how to capture every single one of those ideas! Wow! Amazing! 3) Dusty & Amy are not just wedding photographers... They are virtually wedding planners on the day of your wedding! From the time they showed up at the hair salon that morning, up until the end of the night, they kept me ON TRACK and ON TIME. "Jamie, it's time to come do your First Look with Tyler." "Jamie, it's time to put on your lip gloss, we're ready to go." And so on, and so on... I can't say enough about how amazing this was to have. While our onsite event coordinator at our venue was amazing, Dusty & Amy were with me all day long, no matter where I went, and helped me every step of the way. Now for just a few tips I have on working with Amy & Dusty: 1) Tell them what you like and what you don't like about yourselves. Self-conscious about something in particular? No problem, just tell them and be honest. This can happen at your engagement session, or in a phone call or email. They LISTEN, so make sure to be honest with what you want. 2) DO BOOK an engagement session with them! You don't want the first time you are being photographed by someone to be on your most vulnerable day. You and your husband-to-be want to be comfortable holding each other, kissing each other, etc., and the best way to do that is to PRACTICE with the photographers who are going to be there on your wedding day. PLUS, I have to admit, Tyler and I ended up framing even more engagement pictures than we did our wedding photos. We just ADORE them. 3) Book with Dusty & Amy and book EARLY. They book up for a REASON. It's because they are the best. We are a young couple with a small budget for our wedding. So searching for photographers it can be discouraging because, you can find photographers that are extremely expensive and or affordable, but you can totally tell with the quality of the work. Once I found Drozian Photoworks, I was determined to make my budget work just so I could have them as my photographers. There is something about this couple that they just take a portion of your worry away from the whole planning process. Before the wedding, they were just super nice, quick to respond to all my emails and answering my questions. I knew I was in good hands. I honestly wish I could point out something I didn't like about them, but they honestly exceeded my expectation. Dusty carried around bobby pins already on hand in case my hair came undone. But the one thing that shocked me was during the reception, Dusty came to our table constantly to check on us, to see if we needed something to drink, eat, or anything at all. can't go wrong with anyone who's been photographing a while..you know they're going to give you some great shots. But here's the thing with Drozian Photoworks. Amy and Dusty are SO MUCH more than that. With them, you're not just another client, they're not just your photographers. With them, it's an experience. And that's what it's really about, am I right? The entire year of planning, they were right there with me. Sharing in my excitement, helping me when I felt lost with planning..You name it and they were right there. They are not only SO MUCH FUN, but are very professional and absolutely kill it and blow it out of the water when it comes to their work. The day of, They arrived to the venue before I even had gotten there (That's where we were getting ready!), made sure I ate breakfast/lunch/dinner. I look back at some family candid photos, and noticed Dusty was literally right by my side in all of them. Holding my bouquet, holding my train on my dress, making sure I had everything I ever needed basically. My bustle wasn't up correctly and he even pulled me away and asked me if i'd like him to fix it. of course he fixed it for me all by himself. I joked around with my new husband the other day, saying I truly felt like Cinderella. and Amy & Dusty (Drozian) were my fairy god mothers! lol! But out of all seriousness, Not only did they travel 8 hours for free (YES. that's right. they will also go anywhere for you), they gave us the smoothest, most beautiful day we could have asked for. That might seem like something so entirely cliche to say, but it is the best gift anyone could give to you on your wedding day. They gave that to me. And will give that to you. As if they aren't wonderful enough; you will get a complimentary engagement session with their wedding booking service. I also did a boudoir/glamour session with them to give my hubby on our wedding day! And this too. SO much more than just another session. They give you their whole day. They even bought me lunch that day. I don't say this often But I look at those pictures as well and just can't believe how beautiful they made me feel. All this aside, If I only had one piece of advice I could give a bride..it would be this. That you don't really realize how much time you truly spend with your photographers. There are plenty mediocre things in life. Don't let this be one of them. Booking Amy & Dusty was one of the best decisions we could have ever made, and it will be yours, too!

Their ability to keep a shoot moving was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. My now husband is not a fan of taking a lot of photos, dusty and Amy were able to keep everything moving so we didn't waste reception time taking photos. One of my favorite parts of working with them is how they make you feel in charge. They didn't make us stay outside the reception taking hundreds of photos while our guests were inside. After completing our list of photos, we were done. I've been to a lot of weddings where the photographer keeps pulling the bride and groom away for more photos, Drozian did not do that. It didn't feel like a photoshoot, it was a wedding. Another great reason to hire them is they are really helpful and know how to make a wedding run smoothly. For example, Dusty carried my plate from the buffet line so I wouldn't trip and spill food! I know that seems like a small detail, but the whole day was filled with kind gestures like that from Amy and Dusty. We got the pictures in less than 3 weeks and I am so excited to start printing them out and sharing! Seriously, stop looking for photographers and hire Drozian. They were the best decision we made. We know that for us, the photos were the most important part of our day, and we wanted someone that would be able to capture the moments as they deserved. We first saw Drozian's photos online at their website. We instantly fell in love with the images they captured, both in close up views as well as distant shots that were able to convey emotions just as heartfelt. We set up a meeting and were elated to find that all the things that we loved about their photos were done with natural lighting (rather than photo shop). We immediately knew that Drozian was the perfect choice for us. Our first photo shoot with Amy and Dusty was for our engagement session. I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of taking photos so I was a bit nervous about how it would all go to say the least. Amy and Dusty did such a great job! They were friendly and attentive and even gave us advice on which outfits would look good with which backgrounds, etc. By the end of the shoot we were all laughing and having a great time and it felt more like Dusty and Amy were good friends than our photographers we just met. And let me tell you - the photos are GORGEOUS! On our wedding day, Amy and Dusty were even more attentive than they had been at our engagement shoot (we didn't know that was even possible). Dusty was with me for the entire day - he not only made sure I was eating before the ceremony (brides I'm telling you, you will forget to do that), he was also answering any questions that me, my parents, and my maid of honor had. Right up until the ceremony he was checking in with me and making sure there wasn't a single thing that I was in need of. He was wonderful. Fast forward to the family photos after the ceremony - Dusty and Amy handled them so amazingly!!!! Both my bride and I have large families (like around 75 total people we were trying to cram in to different photos) and Dusty and Amy made it look effortless. So many of our family members have commented since the wedding on how easy they made that part of the wedding seem. And it continued this way for the rest of the night. Amy and Dusty were by our side the entire evening making sure that we were relaxed and having a great time and not worrying about any of the little details. And again, the photos are FLAWLESS. I seriously could go on and on about the services that Dusty and Amy provide that are so above and beyond services typical of photographers. Dusty and Amy are like having photographers that double as wedding coordinators on your big day. They are so amazing that they will be filling all of our family photography needs in the future as well.

We had seen Dusty and Amy previously shoot a wedding 2 months before we got engaged, and the bride/groom raved about how great they were, which really sparked our interests in them. But we also had interests in another photographer from a previous wedding my husband actually was in as a groomsman. It came down to the week we went looking for a photographer… we called both Drozian Photoworks and the other photographer we were interested in. Dusty and Amy answered right away, and wanted to set up an appointment to get together and talk about their work. The other photographer didn’t get back to us and finally told us a week later she’d “be interested” in doing our wedding. Dusty and Amy were the obvious “professional” choice to us! And we’re so glad it worked out that way, because the day we met Dusty and Amy, we knew we wanted them to be apart of our big day! Due to having a short engagement, they worked with us on our engagement shoot timing. Since we wanted snow pictures and it hadn’t snowed in California in February yet, they offered doing a half session at the time, just so that we could get our Save the Dates out! It was such a generous offer and such a relief as a planning bride! Later, we were able to get the snow pictures we finally wanted in April, and the pictures were EXACTLY what we wanted! They worked so well with my stubborn-picture-taking husband, and made us laugh the entire time! The day of our wedding, Dusty and Amy were by our sides the entire day! And thank goodness for that! They weren’t just there to take pictures, but to help support us throughout the day! They helped the groomsmen with ties, bustled my dress, and made sure we ate/stayed hydrated at our 97 degree wedding! The best part of it all… they stayed for our entire wedding day, up until the last dance at 10pm!!! That was the greatest thing, because it showed they really wanted to capture every moment of our big day!!! Our wedding pictures turned out better than we would have ever imagined! sidering them as your wedding photographers, for your sake, choose these two. I started my wedding day off late, in a hurry, and stressed to the max. The first person I saw at my venue was Dusty, and his first words were, "Hi! Let me help!" as he took the, what felt like million pound bags, out of my hands immediately and told me to "smile." The next thing he said was, "what can I get you for breakfast?" which rang like music to a starving bride's ears after already being awake for 5 hours come 11 am. After taking my order, he immediately went to get breakfast and returned with the most delicious ham and cheese sandwich I think I have ever had, or will have. Amy was just as wonderful as Dusty. She took photos of me and my girls getting ready for hours, and reassured me the entire day that I looked beautiful and was doing everything right (which is something a bride needs to hear when it seems like everything is going so, so wrong.) My makeup artist and hairdresser failed miserably so I was left, on my wedding day, with nothing to do but hope for the best. My mom ended up curing my hair, and my friend and I did my makeup, but a week before the wedding Amy and Dusty let me know of at least three hair and makeup people, should things fall through. Day of, they were right there with their phones giving advice, helping me primp, etc. and soothed me through one of the most stressful times in my life. That was just the beginning of my day, and it ended up being so awesomely perfect, I can't even describe it, and I know, for certain, it ended up that way with the help of my awesome photographers. They worked very well with my groom, who is super camera shy, and all of the family, who were probably just as stressed as I was. There were SO many moments when I thought to myself, "hiring them was the best choice I made about the wedding (a close second to marrying my groom)." They practically helped direct my wedding, as I ignorantly coordinated it all myself and had no clue what I was doing, and it ended up being more than I could ever have hoped for! I would talk about the fantastic quality and content of their photos, but Drozian Photoworks photos speak for themselves. We hired a wedding coordinator but on the day of our wedding I can honestly say they outdid our coordinator. They had a way of always putting me at ease and letting me enjoy the day and not fuss with the details. They arrived at our hotel at 9 am to begin shooting us girls getting ready. We had to take a limo to our wedding venue and it was close to lunchtime. Dusty and Amy offered to grab lunch for the entire bridal party while we continued to get ready at the venue, and they did. They always made it a point to check in and see if there was anything at all that I needed as the ceremony got closer. Then came picture time. AHMAZING shots. They also did a great job at directing everyone so that the family and friend shots moved quickly while also making sure we got all the right shots. After the ceremony they continued to check in with the both of us making sure we were never without a drink or food in hand. We were so impressed to have felt so taken care of by our photographers. They're beyond good at what they do and will make your wedding day exceptional.

Therefore, choosing the correct photographer for your big shindig should be considered a close second to choosing the correct spouse. I could not have been MORE excited to have Dusty and Amy photograph my wedding this last May. Dusty has a knack for putting anyone and everyone at ease on what can potentially be a very high stress day! As a bride, I remained calm knowing that everything would go smoothly that day thanks to the team I had in place, but other attendees were a little more high strung. Between Dusty's jokes and Amy's sweet calming presence, by the time it was ceremony time people were laughing and ready to relax! Dusty and Amy personable and are also incredibly efficient which is something you DEFINITELY want in a photographer on your wedding day. It was very important to my husband and I that we spent the majority of the time WITH our friends and family that day instead of hours taking pictures so having a photographer that was insanely on top of their game was a MUST. I ran slightly late (shocking, I know!) but, Dusty and Amy kept everything running smoothly. We got all the "must" photos and are SO looking forward to our Ever After session with them so we can do a more extensive shoot with them as husband and wife! I highly recommend them.
