ervice during our visit. Working with Anne made planning simple. She had answers to all our questions and was receptive to any changes we wanted to make. The documentation and samples provided by the venue were detailed and made choices clear and easy to understand. When we got close to the wedding day, we worked with Allie. She was fantastic at taking notes and those notes translated into a Flawless execution on the day of the wedding. We could just hand them supplies and they knew where everything was supposed to go. On the day of the wedding, the staff was well coordinated and worked in the background to make the event a stress-free day. Everyone we talked to and worked with was friendly and helpful. We had a nearly perfect experience, but were surprised by the poor quality and service when we had issues with the website. Several times, we put in details for the wedding and when we came back to the website later, we found they didn’t save and we had to put them in again. It would have been nice for someone to write them down and put them in from the administrator side the second time we had issues, to help us avoid frustration. There were also many times we went to the website to work on planning and found the website was down or having server issues. We were told that the experiences we were having were uncommon and we happened to be one percent of couples having issues. This was not a comforting explanation and we felt we weren’t being helped. With how important the website is for planning and communication, we expected a more stable site and better responses to our problems. Overall, we loved the building and site, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable but we had several technology issues. Based on our experience we would recommend your venues to our friends and family.

xactly the vibe we wanted for our wedding. The beauty of the venue is undeniable, and on the day of our wedding, it looked amazing. That said, the overall experience came with a few bumps along the way, mostly due to the venue being owned by a corporation. Edward Anne Estate operates as an all-in-one venue, which sounds great in theory, since they provide a list of vendors and services so you don’t have to search for them yourself. However, the execution of this concept left a bit to be desired. For example, when reviewing the vendor list, I requested contact information for a few vendors to ask questions and ensure they were the right fit. Unfortunately, I was told I could only get that information after we booked, which didn’t feel ideal when making such important decisions. Also, opting out of their preferred caterer came with steep fees, which felt limiting. One of the more frustrating aspects was the communication throughout the planning process. I found myself having to repeat requests several times, and despite providing photos and clear instructions, small but important details were missed. For instance, we had planned to have lanterns lining the aisle and at our Chuppah, but those were not set up as discussed. I am still pretty sad about this detail being missed as I was very excited about it. Additionally, the party favors were put out late into the reception, so many of our guests left without receiving them, which was disappointing. Even with these hiccups, the day of our wedding was truly wonderful. The staff were sweet and accommodating, and the venue itself looked picture-perfect. It really is a stunning place to host a wedding, and the atmosphere it creates is unmatched. However, the communication and organizational issues left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. With better vendor coordination and attention to detail, this venue would easily be a 5-star experience.

e. It was basically my dream venue. The staff were so helpful! Not only did they provide us with vendors (as part of the package we used) that were prompt, helpful, kind, and patient, but the management staff we worked with were helpful and accommodating. And the cake from D'Amicos was *delicious*! I know I am supposed to save the cake topper, but we've already begun eating it because it's so good. I would highly recommend working with this property to anybody looking for a fairytale mansion house for their wedding.

The staff was so helpful during the whole day of my wedding and made the whole day stress free. I wish I could go back to my wedding day already because I truly had the perfect day because of Edward Anne Estate and their staff! All of my guests had the best time and I cannot recommend this venue enough.

ut when we toured it the first time and met the the people and saw everything first hand we knew it was the place for us. The staff is amazing - from the beginning they are hands on with their couples and provide so many resources for vendors and general questions. They provide a day of coordinator as well which was really helpful leading up to and on the day of the wedding. On our wedding day we had so many family members comment on how smoothly the Bavaria staff ran the day - they were so competent and it was evident throughout the whole day and evening. At the end of the night we really did feel like everything had gone perfectly and a large part of that was due to Bavaria Downs staff and their organization.

The staff we worked with both leading up to and on the day of the wedding was extremely helpful and friendly and our two day-of coordinators helped the day go off without an issues. My only two complaints would be that the ballroom got extremely warm on a July night and would love some more air flow into that space and the tent leading from the ballroom back to the main house and the bathrooms could be a little bit more regal to match the overall feel of the space. But all in all, we would highly recommend Bavaria to anyone looking for an elegant, all-inclusive venue.

a great day, however there are some things that need to be improved. Since it is owned by a corporation, there are so many unnecessary rules that come along with this venue. When we were planning, it seemed like every other answer to questions was a "no". Clearly there has been previous weddings that have limited flexibility of subsequent weddings. Additionally, for the amount of money they charge, they need to reinvest in the property. The walkway from the ballroom to the estate is still just a tent-quite the eye sore. You would think for ~$20,000 for one day they could find the budget to make this a permanent structure. Bathrooms were a long walk from the ballroom which forced guests to wait in a line. There was a broken window on the property in the middle of the cocktail space. Communication on the morning of was lacking. It would have been nice to have the same coordinator that worked with us all throughout the wedding day be there to help out. I would definitely recommend hiring an additional planner if you are having a large wedding because the planner provided did not do much on the day of and most responsibility fell on the planner I hired. Finally, we were so disappointed to find out that there was a new parking lot built right in front of the estate. Clearly this was new, as the grass around the estate was damaged. Overall this place was amazing! Besides the things I listed above, everything was wonderful. We had the best day ever and Bavaria is truly a fairytale come true. We would have our wedding there again in a heartbeat, but hope that our recommendations are taken to heart by the staff and corporation so other couples can have an even better experience!

My only recommendation is that if you are doing an outdoor ceremony, keep it mind what veil you choose as mine was very long and it just ended up getting completely twisted due to the wind. Besides that the day was absolutely perfect and I would definitely recommend this venue!

Everything from the grounds to the furniture is naturally beautiful so not much else needs to be done when decorating. If I was to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing! I am still in awe of how perfect everything was and have been told from many people that it was the best wedding and venue they have EVER been to. owns. The only reason why we are giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because there was some miscommunication that happened the day of our wedding. One of our vendors was to put a greenery backdrop up behind the head table but our coordinator directed them to set it up in front of the photobooth instead. By the time they were done setting up the backdrop the coordinator realized the mistake and had them take it down and set it up again in the right spot! Which I am so grateful for! The downfall was that because of this mistake, they refused to give us our security deposit back which was a reasonable amount of money. Also, at the end of the night we had a different coordinator who didn't know where things were supposed to go and made the clean up process more of a challenge and some things got misplaced. We absolutely loved having our wedding at Bavaria Downs but just wish there was more communication and organization for the day of the wedding.

e big day. The outdoor ceremony site was absolutely gorgeous. The guests loved being able to hang out outside during cocktail hour while enjoying drinks at the gorgeous bar front inside. The reception site was easily transformed and the area for the sparkler send off was beautiful in photos. Even the surrounding elements made for beautiful photos throughout the day!

Our wedding planner Melissa was incredible and worked with us to set up the timeline for the day and we felt very assured that the staff at Bavaria would make sure everything went smoothly and we could relax and enjoy the day. Because of Covid, the wedding was postponed and Melissa left Bavaria Downs. We were assigned a new planner, Hannah. We booked our photographer, videographer, DJ and florist through Bellagala. About three months out, we were informed that our photographer was not going to be able to work the wedding. We had to find another photographer. About a month out, my daughter checked our vendor contract and saw that the videographer we had chosen had left Bellagala and we didn't have a videographer. We had never been told. Luckily my daughter caught this or we would not have had a videographer. The day of the wedding, things went great except for a couple hiccups. I told Hannah when we arrived at 8:00a.m. that we were down a table and which one to remove. She did not relay that to the people setting up tables. We were two place setting short at our table. Not huge issues, just annoying. The real problems were at the end of the evening. At some point Hannah left and I was never informed about who was in charge. The bar was supposed to stop serving at 10:30. Did not happen. My daughter and son-in-law were supposed to depart into an awaiting car at 10:45. Did not happen. The DJ was supposed to announce that everyone should head out to send the couple off. When it became apparent to me that things were not winding down, I found a girl removing table decorations (staff was removing table decorations onto carts while the guests were still in the ballroom) and asked here why the bar was still serving, when the DJ was going to tell people to head out and if the car was there. She went to check on the car and said it wasn't there. She did not have the contact info for the driver. I had emailed and texted Hannah with that info and she never passed it along. So, I scrambled to find someone to drive the couple. It was all very stressful. I should not have been the one that made sure the bar stopped serving, the DJ got people out, and the couple had a car to get into. I was told that Bavaria staff would make sure all went smoothly. But, there was no-one in charge. I was told the bartenders would not serve people that were obviously intoxicated. They did. The bartenders were not supposed to serve shots. They did. And, one bartender told a guest "I take bribes if you want the whole bottle" (of wine). All in all, it was a bad ending to an otherwise beautiful day and that should not have been the case. I brought these issue to the Operations Director and Damico Senior Event Planner. I did not find their responses acceptable.
