This past summer I reached out to EHChocolatier about providing favors for guests at my son’s wedding in October. Catharine was very quick to contact me and let me know that we were welcome to come to the shop for a chocolate tasting and to discuss what we’d like. The bride decided not to have any favors. I informed Catharine and she was so gracious and wished us well in our wedding preparations. Fast forward to slightly two weeks before the wedding when the bride asks me about the chocolates! Oops! I guess she DID want them afterall! I reached out to Catharine again and she was so accommodating! She was able to make us 120 of the 2pc bonbon boxes, with our choice of two different delicious chocolates. They were all packaged up for us in a box because I needed to bring them on a plane with me to the wedding. They were a hit! Very yummy and our only regret is that we didn’t have more! I highly recommend EHChocolatier for their delicious chocolates AND their calm professionalism.
We love chocolates and after pretty much tasting chocolates from every chocolatier in town for a year, we decided on EH Chocolatier because they are the best. We worked with Catharine and Elaine to select the perfect combination of fall flavors of chocolates for our wedding favors/escort cards. We finally settled on apple cider caramel (my favorite), maple pecan butter (hedgehog), salted caramel (dome), vermont maple (leaf) and the rocher. During the process, Catharine and Elaine assisted us in purchasing the perfect maple leaf mold, selected the right color favor box, ribbon and tag that coordinated with the theme of our wedding. Both were easy to work with. Our guests enjoyed them and are still raving about them.
I first tasted the chocolates from EH Chocolatier when my Mom was given a box of truffles by Catherine's sister. They had just established their business and I was completely impressed by the taste. When we decided to get married and have truffles as a favor, I knew were we needed to go! During our tasting, Catherine provided us with an excellent selection to choose from. We chose 4 curated chocolates to fit everyone's taste, Lemon, Salted Carmel, Cafe' Au Lait and a single plantation dark chocolate. We were also shown gift box examples and Elaine helped us choose a beautiful champagne colored ribbon to match our décor and gift tags. Our guests were raving about the chocolates; loved the taste and presentation. I would highly recommend EH Chocolatier for the quality, taste and great service. Extremely happy with the results and the taste is off-the-charts good.
We loved giving our guests a very tasty and refined local wedding favor from EH. We had such a great time with Elaine and Catharine during our chocolate tasting and design consultation. EH curated the chocolates to match our personality, decor, and favorite flavors (Woodford Reserve and Cafe Au Lait). Our guests could not stop raving about them. Elaine and Catharine helped to make our special day even more special!
I first tasted the chocolates from EH Chocolatier at Harvard Square's Holly Fair about 5 years ago, and they really were unforgettable. I knew as 'single-me' that whenever I got married (I knew it'd happen some day) I would ask EH for something local and delicious to give to our guests. What I didn't know was that the same chocolatier made the rosemary caramels my groom and I adored from another local shop, Formaggio Kitchen. When they directed me to EH, I knew it was just perfect. We put a bag of caramels in every room's welcome basket and everyone is still talking about them. So. flipping. good. Friendly people, great packaging, and absolutely delicious chocolates and caramels.
We were looking of something unique to give to people as favors at our wedding. We met with the owners and the allowed us to sample a large variety of chocolates before settling on our selection. Options ranged from spicy chocolate to tea flavored. All the chocolates were almost as good to look at as they were to eat.
The ladies at EHChocolatier put together 120 delicious, beautiful favors for me with barely a month's notice. They had no problem making a small batch of dairy-free chocolates, and they offered a huge variety of flavors and designs. Most importantly, the chocolates were absolutely fantastic. I'm a chocolate snob - I even worked in a chocolate factory for a year - so trust me on this one.
Bottom line, EHChocolatier is that rare type of small business: friendly, professional, efficient, and highly skilled. They will not disappoint.
I couldn't convince myself or my fiance at the time to give away a favor that our guests would throw away. That includes most common favor ideas. So when we knew we wanted to do something with food (that our guests could thoroughly enjoy), we decided something unique, made by an artisan, and most definitely delicious was what we needed. EHChocolatier fit the mold! They created delicious and beautiful chocolates for us to give to our guests- and we ended up also using them as escort cards. Each favor was in a box matching the theme color tied with a ribbon, we then assembled a tag with name and table number to each box. It was perfect, and I heard some of my guests trying to "share" with other guests after they had eaten theirs. It was the perfect way to stay classy and really spoil our guests.
