We used The Granary room at the Ella Sharp Museum, the space holds about 60 people comfortably seated. The space is rustic and vintage and romantic. We used the outdoor patio area for our ceremony and dancing. Everything was perfect, Stephanie Sharp is the event coordinator and she made the whole experience easy.
I loved using this venue for our wedding. We had the ceremony outside of the museum and the reception in the Grand Community Room. Guests were able to browse the museum before the reception. They had a lot of fun with all of the photo opportunities available at the museum also. Service was a little difficult sometimes due to a part-time coordinator who is not always in the office. It also adds up to have a base rental fee and then have to rent everything yourself (linens, caterer, decor, outdoor rentals, etc) but I am so happy we had our wedding here!
This museum was beautiful to have this rustic wedding theme at, i loved the experience. A beautiful place to have a wedding
My wedding reception was held at the Ella Sharp Granary Restaurant. This setting provided the perfect place for an intimate reception of 30 guests. We were able to rearrange and decorate the restaurant exactly as we wanted the day before and the place had a lot of natural charm and personality. The patio was a great way to spread out after dinner and had a very relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant chef (Karina Kimpell of Chameleon Caterers) worked with us to create a great spread of Mediterranean fare. She was happy to make things that were new to her and everything turned out perfectly. All of our guests were very complimentary of the location, food and service. The associated museum also has a beautiful area for larger weddings.
The Community Room is beautiful and a great place for a wedding reception! The event planner at The Ella was very nice, but difficult to get in contact with at times. my only complaints are the cost, which only includes tables, chairs, and the room itself; everything else is additional. My other complaint is that they require you to purchase alcohol through them, which is way over priced.
We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden here and it was perfect. We also took photos around the grounds and they were fine with that. It was a great day
We picked this room a year in advance from our wedding, the moment we walked in we knew we had to have our wedding here. The community room had a gorgeous big window and high ceilings, with a nice little patio. We were able to have both ceremony and reception all in the same room, The staff flipped the room for us, and were a great help
It was a perfect place to have the reception. It is very new and clean.
