We booked this venue for our wedding May 2024. Taylor was our wedding coordinator provided through the hotel for everything but the room block. Kenna was in charge of our room block details. Both ladies were extremely helpful, friendly, and provided excellent service. The hotel offered a wedding package that included so many great features: DJ service, Floral Centerpieces, Wedding Cake, Cocktail Hour, dinner, and so much more. We loved all the vendors that the hotel worked with, but they also let us bring in some of our own. Taylor was the highlight for us. She was so helpful with planning and answering questions. We could not have done this without her. The restaurant staff were also awesome every time we were there. My husband is in LOVE with the truffle fries from Woolley’s. We highly recommemd trying them.
We had our wedding party and family stay at the hotel Friday through Sunday as our wedding was on Saturday. We had the rehearsal on site Friday evening. Taylor was there to help us go through the rehearsal a few times. She kept our wedding party focused on the task at hand. We also had the hotel cater the Groom's dinner Friday night. We really enjoyed the food. It was a summer BBQ themed dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
The day of our wedding, we had a separate bridal suite for the bridal party to do hair and make-up. It is a great space with lots of light and seating. It also has an area with lights and mirrors for getting ready. There was a fridge and counter so we could have snacks and drinks while getting ready. I did not want anyone seeing me before the ceremony besides the bridesmaids. Taylor used a sheet to hide me whenever I was walking through the hotel as the hallways are open to the center of the property. It worked out really well. Taylor kept everyone on schedule and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be by the right times. I am telling you, this woman is fabulous!
We had our ceremony in the atrium, our cocktail hour in Woolley’s North, and our reception in yet another space in the hotel. It was such an awesome experience. Every guest at our wedding raved about the food, the service, and how much fun they had. Who could ask for more than that? Taylor goes above and beyond and my day would not have been as amazing as it was without her. I am so grateful we chose this venue for our special day.

Embassy Suites Airport is truly a fantastic venue, especially for hosting weddings with out-of-town guests! The accommodations were ideal, providing convenience for everyone traveling in. Taylor, the wedding coordinator, was exceptional. She was not only highly knowledgeable and professional but also went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Taylor's dedication and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable.
One of the best features of Embassy Suites is how customizable and affordable their wedding packages are, allowing us to tailor everything to fit our needs perfectly. Taylor and her team deserve 10 stars for their outstanding work, and I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a seamless, memorable experience. It was a vibe and the turn up was real!!

We had our wedding on 01/06/2024 and I am so glad we chose Embassy Suites! Taylor was amazing to work with from start to finish as were all the staff. The planning process was as stress free with them as wedding planning can be and all questions were answered quickly and they went above and beyond to help us where possible. The room set up day of was fantastic and I didn't have to stress about it for one second, it was all done for us and done very well. The getting ready space was amazing for me and all the bridesmaids! Pricing was also very reasonable for everything that was provided!

I had always planned to elope, so when we made the decision to have a more traditional wedding, we were looking for something affordable, easy, and convenient for our of town guests. We had our ceremony at a church but we’re looking for a reception area. The all inclusive type packages greatly appealed to us and would keep us within our budget. Taylor was the best part of it all! She came “included” as basically a wedding planner! We stayed in contact through the process and she was there to answer any questions I had. Everything went so smoothly and we got so many compliments on the flow of the evening and the staff. It was truly an amazing day and we wouldn’t change a thing! I will say not to let yourself over complicate things. They run such a smooth system there that sometimes it feels too easy (haha) but let yourself relax a little! They are good at what they do! Taylor and her team were such a gift to us. Highly recommend.

Our wedding was 10/7/23 and Taylor made it so magical. Everything about my day went above and beyond my expectations. Taylor is the absolute best and made the whole wedding planning so easy. I had a few ideas for my decorations and I gave the rest to Taylor and her team and made absolutely beautiful. Taylor and Shannon made our day perfect, they were both very attentive to me and my husband as well as the parents.
Don't get me started on the food, it was sooo good! All of our guests (literally all of them) ranted and raved about how good it was! We had a lot of out of state family and they also stated that it was very convenient for them with the shuttle. 20/10 would recommend this venue!

We are so thankful we ditched the trendy barn weddings and went with the hotel's one-stop-shop option. We worked with the coordinator Embassy provides, Taylor, and she was phenomenal. The entire process was very smooth. We had our rehearsal dinner at the hotel, buffet style in Woolley's north. We did the Italian buffet and Woolley's knocked the food out of the park. The chicken marsala melted in my mouth, and all of our guests loved it. It was so convenient to just stay the night as well before the busy wedding day started. We were able to be in the new bridal suite, and it looks so lovely, and perfect getting-ready space. The groomsmen got ready in our honeymoon suite because it was HUGE. It had a living room area with a couch and then a room with a circular table, so they were comfortable in there. There was a perfect flow from the ceremony into the atrium, to the cocktail space in Woolley, and then to the reception in the Itasca room. The buffet was so good, we are still getting compliments on how good the chicken and salmon were. Not to mention the awesome catering staff that came with it. Then to top if off, we were able to work with Taylor who is so on top of everything, she really made our experience great!! If we were able to do it all again, we'd definitely do it again here. 13/10 would recommend!

We were very pleased with our wedding event at Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport. All of our needs were met while hosting the groom’s dinner, cocktail hour, reception, and gift opening. Taylor, our wedding coordinator, did an amazing job making sure every detail was handled and she went above and beyond in making sure the decorating was even better than we imagined. The food throughout the weekend was fantastic. The entire staff was courteous and professional. It truly was a stress-free weekend and we would highly recommend Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport.

We are very impressed with the help that we received for our wedding. Taylor did a wonderful job coordinating. She made sure that everything was in order. We had a great experience having our wedding reception at Embassy suites MSP airport. The staff was very professional. With the help of Taylor and staff we were able to relax and enjoy the day. We had a small simple ceremony in the Wooley's North area, everything was beyond amazing. Taylor definitely went above and beyond to help up, including making a gorgeous menu for our guests, decorating the table with lining cloth, the floating candles and floral. Taylor had even checked in the day of, making sure I was ready and if there was anything else I needed prior to the ceremony. What really made it even better is that Taylor did what she should to make sure my day turned out for us and our happiness, I did have an uninvited guest show up to the ceremony and Taylor was ready to escort them out if need to, just so our day turned out perfect. I honestly could not thank Taylor enough for all the help and work she had done to make our day just that much better!! I am definitely reaching out to her for our future events.

Taylor was great to work with and helped us coordinate our day down to the last detail! We did an Indo-Western wedding, and she helped us figure out how to piece it all together from the decorations to the food. The day of, Taylor was there to make sure everything was running smoothly and ready to make any adjustments necessary. The other staff were also very friendly day of and made everyone feel welcome!

We had a great experience with this venue. We loved how convenient it was being next to the airport for our out of town relatives. Taylor our coordinator was awesome! She was very helpful and we couldn’t have done it without her. She made sure every detail was covered. The wedding was so fun and decorated by beautifully. We had a Christmas themed wedding. The price was good and the food delicious. The breakfast buffet at this hotel was great too! Everything breakfast you could imagine! Delicious food. We loved it and would definitely recommend this venue!

This was the perfect place for our wedding. We had the pleasure of meeting the Taylor in the events department. She was pleasant and listened to what we were thinking. She showed us two small rooms they were wonderful rooms but just a bit to big. Our wedding guest list was 20 or so folks. We asked about a small space that was part of the restaurant. It was the perfect space. It was small, cozy and inviting. She said yes we can make this space available. Every detail was done with great care. I gave Taylor my vision and she made it happen. Day of my wedding Taylor was there making sure it was perfect like it was her own wedding. The wait staff for our dinner were spot on. Those two gals were warm, friendly. Had the its your day and we will take care of everything you and your guests need. Now let's talk about the food. OMG over the top good. We wanted to let our guess order from the menu. Taylor suggested picking 4 main courses and that was the right move. She designed a beautiful menu that matched the colors in our wedding and our guess got to choose. It was served hot and we all had our meals at the same time. From salad to dessert no one was skipped or waited while others were eating. The food was cooked perfect. We had steak,chicken, pork chops and salmon. Folks are still talking about Woodys food and that they will go there again for dinner. The hotel was clean and folks behind the front desk we kind and friendly. And top it off the free breakfast was wonderful had something for everyone. I can't say enough about this hotel and our wedding experience. Taylor stayed in communications we me from beginning to end with out pressure or stress. She made sure ever detail was met.

Adrienne was a pleasure to work with and was very organized and helpful. The venue was dressed up beautifully on the wedding day, as was the reception area. Food was fabulous and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport and would love to host another event there soon.

With only a month or so to plan the wedding, Adrienne and her team were amazing. The venue turned out even more beautiful and amazing then the bride and groom could have imagined. The brides fairy tail wedding was completed with a beautifully decorated room, excellent food, and such welcoming staff. It was the very BEST venue we as an older couple could have asked for. They work specially with their vendors, from the catering right there, to Sweet retreats for wedding cake and cupcakes to Midwest Sound for DJ and great evening of music. Allie to Adrienne setting it all up for us, to always being there to answer our many questions and phone calls, so professional to being so down to earth. The staff was so friendly and efficient to always making you feel welcome and taking care of our guests. You cant beat this Hotel Embassy suites Mpls airport. We had many guests fly in from out of state and they didnt have to rent a car, just took the shuttle and it worked out perfectly.
The next morning they had set a room aside for us to eat in and to visit with guests before departing and the staff had gathered up the remaining flowers, cupcakes, napkins and etc. So we could take it all home. We felt pampered and so appreciate ALL that everyone there did for us.

Everything was absolutely PERFECT for our daughters wedding! The venue was spectacular and beautiful having been newly remodeled! Very classy! Our sales and event coordinator, Adrienne Halterman, was amazing and so fun to work with (friendly, efficient, organized, very accommodating, excellent communicator and was always timely in her return of emails and phone calls!). She's a new family friend!! Her Food and Beverage Manager and staff were extremely friendly and so accommodating with "anything" we ever needed throughout the entire weekend (always with a genuine smile and great attitude)! We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding in their atrium and reception in the gorgeous ballroom, as well as, opening gift reception the next morning (all at the hotel) which was SO SLICK! Our guests never had to drive anywhere else! The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. The Bridal Suite (which had an attached sleeping room next to it) was perfect! And of course the airport right across from the hotel was extremely convenient for our out of town guests!! The front desk staff was amazingly efficient and friendly! We were also so very impressed that "all" of their employees (food servers, housekeeping, front desk, sales, maintenance, etc.) always had a smile on their faces and were so very respectful, which proved to us that it's a great place to work! We would absolutely schedule another wedding/event at that hotel! A huge thank you, from our families, to everyone at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport for a job well-done!

Our wedding was perfect! We postponed in 2020 due to COVID and I thought I’d have to start all over again. I was happy to find out that was not the case. They had everything still in our file and we picked up where we left off. Staff was amazing and Adrianne was the best to work with. I told her my vision and gave her my stuff and she ran with it. It was also great to be able to have the amount of vendors they do working with them. At the end, you pay one bill for everything, which is amazing! Would recommend 100 times over!

Such a beautiful venue! We loved the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport when we first toured it with the catering manager Allie Zimmer. The recently remodeled atrium was a picturesque backdrop to what turned out to be a wonderful wedding ceremony. Allie was very well organized and knew exactly how to plan a perfect ceremony and reception. The reception room was well decorated as well. The catering crew was very quick and attentive. We received numerous comments about the delicious food that was served at the reception. Allie made the whole daunting process of planning for the wedding very smooth and painless. We would recommend Allie and the Embassy Suites to everyone that is looking for a place to host their wedding!

We can't say enough about our experience at this venue.From the initial meeting to the last dance, everything was so expertly managed. The catering manager, Allie Zimmer gets the credit for coordinating every aspect of the process and explaining everything to us through each phase. We didn't have a wedding coordinator because she did it all. Her staff was great and they served the delicious food in the beautifully decorated room. Our guests raved about the venue and we are grateful for the experience.

What an amazing experience. We toured about 5 venues before we came across this one. None of them had that "wow" factor that we where hoping for. Once we set up an appointment and meet with the hotels catering manager (wedding planner in our book), we knew this was where we had to get married. From start to finish, color combos, questions and concerns... Allie knew it all! It was like planning our dream day with a best friend.
She got to know us first and then gave us some background on herself. Her genuine thoughtfulness and ideas where something we took to heart. You could tell she wanted the best for us. From budget spending, food choices and DJ preference, we had no doubt in our mind that she was thinking about our taste and best interest in mind.

Allie and the Embassy team made our wedding planning SO easy!! The packages make everything simple and straightforward. I had a vision for a little different ballroom set-up than the standard and Allie worked so hard to accommodate it...it was beautiful and everything we dreamed of. The chef and all staff were top notch and our guests raved over the food/late night snacks/drinks. The location and amenities were awesome for our guests as well, we couldn't be more thankful we chose the Embassy!!!

My Son's wedding was held at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport on Saturday September 14th. In addition to the wedding we hosted the Grooms Dinner on Friday and a breakfast on Sunday.
The key to success is planning. Allie Zimmer made everything so easy. She helped us plan all three events and they all went off flawlessly.
Some initial concerns about the pillars in the ballroom were quickly erased as they were simply a non factor. The staff was first class and the food was excellent.
My wife and I commented over and over how many of our guests complimented the staff on friendliness of service and quality of food.
Very proud to have had our special day with Allie and her team!!

I absolutely loved this venue. Allison was amazing and so helpful throughout the whole process. She relieved a lot of stress from the actual wedding and I couldn't have been more grateful. I loved that there was a package that included the cake and flowers; that was two fewer vendors that you had to deal with. The price is definitely worth it! The service, food, and venue was phenomenal!

Our wedding at Embassy was so amazing!! New renovations are so modern!!! Our reception hall was like a nightclub. I cannot say enough kind words about how great Allison and Elix were. Everything went so smoothly with them at the helm!!
We will always have such amazing memories of our wedding @ the Embassy by the Airport. Big perk too is that it is right on the Light Rail 5 mins from the Airport. So if people come from out of town they don't have to rent a car.

Everything went according to our plan and there were no surprises. We were so amazed and pleased how Allison and her team did everything for us including setting up tables and putting our decorations and desserts.
The food was amazing! We had so many compliments about how it tasted and the level of service that was given to us by the kitchen staff.

We are SO GLAD that we chose Embassy Suites for our wedding reception! Allison and her crew were absolutely amazing. Any time we had a question, she had an answer--and so many helpful suggestions/ideas, too! The food was great, the decorations were beautiful, and we didn't have to worry about taking care of a thing. Allie had it all down!
We really appreciated how the Embassy was truly a "one-stop-shop" for the reception. They took care of the food, they handled the wedding cake, they even had an easy way to add on the DJ. If we'd needed, they would have totally covered centerpieces/bouquets, too. It was worth every penny to not worry about last-minute details or finding "the best" deal somewhere on something.
Having a complimentary room the night of the event was a huge relief, too, and setting up a room block for guests was super easy. (You can even save x amount before you get charged for no-shows, which is awesome!) We upgraded to the corner suite (ooh la la) for only $20 and it was SO worth it. Treat yourself and do it, too!
The only thing we'd say is if you want a big dance floor, make sure to really stress that because it sort of got lost in translation for us, so we couldn't really dance our first big waltz.
But overall, we are so, so happy with our reception and especially with Allie, who is absolutely *amazing*. 5/5 stars

Allie, Bob, and the entire Embassy Suites team went above and beyond in every way to make our reception an unforgettable and stress-free night. My mother and I were attempting to plan the reception from out-of-state and relied heavily on Allie for her recommendations and expertise, and she exceeded out expectations at every turn. The timing, the space, the decor, the food, the drinks, the rooming arrangements - all perfect. Our guests had a fantastic time and we couldn't be happier with how our reception turned out. Allie was ABSOLUTELY awesome to work with! I will admit, as we went along the way it was hard to picture the end result. There was not one guest that was disappointed. Allie was helpful from the beginning with planning through the end of the night at the reception. The wait staff was also AMAZING! We had a large head count and I was concerned about serving plated meals and guests receiving cold food. That was NOT the case here. The food was spectacular!! The s’mores bar was a huge hit! The only complaint of the night was that they didn’t leave the s’mores bar out long enough. Our bartender did a MAGNIFICENT job as well. He was quick to get people through the line and made drinks to perfection. The DJ was also GREAT! He played the songs as discussed during planning and kept the dance floor full all night long. The price was unbelievably an EXCELLENT deal!!

We had our wedding here and it was nothing short of amazing! The two wedding coordinators, Allie and Adrienne, are so wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about them! They were on top of everything! Planning a wedding can be stressful and they literally took the stress and worry away. They helped plan everything and thought of things I wouldn’t have thought about! They were professional, fun, and reassured us along the way! The day of the wedding was an absolute dream! It went better than I could have imagined! The venue was beautiful and the food that Wooley’s created, soooooo good! We would get married here again! Highly recommend!

I was the personal attendant at a wedding (both ceremony and reception) last weekend and the staff at the Embassy were amazing! Allie and Adrienne, the event/day of coordinators, were wonderful. They were so organized, helpful and kept everything moving smooth the entire day. They thought of all the things we forgot and did it with a smile on their face! We got married over the weekend here with reception and ceremony in the atrium. It was beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. We did go through three different wedding coordinators and that was a little annoying but Jasmine did a great job with all of our details even though there were a few hiccups due to so much employee turnover. We were not able to have any access to the ballroom to set up prior to the wedding but Jasmine let us set everything up in another room and they moved it for us. Overall the food was great, the service was great and the hotel was awesome! We did the package deal which I loved. (It came with cake, DJ, 2 kegs, cocktail hour, food, and uplighting!)

We had our reception here, as well as our guest room block for after the wedding. The only negative thing I have to say is that we booked our date a little over a year in advance, and within that year this venue went through 3 different event coordinators. Each time a new person was hired we had to meet with them again to rehash the wedding details that had already been planned. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic! Our guests are still raving about how it was the most fun wedding reception they've been to and how beautiful the ballroom was.
We went with a wedding package that included catering, cake, and the DJ in the pricing. I was a little worried that since we were coordinating it all through the Embassy Suites that we would end up with sub-par vendors for the cake and DJ, but we definitely didn't! The bakery they go through is Buttercream in St. Paul - best cake I have ever tried! And the DJ was from Midwest Sound and he did a fantastic job! Our guests danced the entire time. The food is catered through the Wooley's restaurant on-site and it was amazing - even the vegan meals were delicious. The only limitation with our package was that we could only choose chicken entrees or pay more for something else or to have multiple entree options. We opted to stick with the chicken and our guests still loved it.
Brittany is the final coordinator we ended up working with and she is fantastic! She was completely on board with my vision and was able to set up a lot of the DIY pieces I made for the wedding myself (including centerpieces). She was extremely responsive and helpful, and she also uses some great tools to help you really picture what the room will look like on the big day. There was a slight hiccup with our billing after the wedding and she as also very fast to response and resolve the problem.
Overall, I am so glad we chose this venue and would highly recommend it to future brides!

We had our reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel, and we loved every minute of it! Although our first wedding planner had to leave in the middle of planning, Brittany took over and made it a seamless transition. She made sure to let me know that there were so many options that we could do for food, DJ, decorations and drinks. She was very willing to accommodate our wishes on things that we wanted to do differently. We felt very valued while we were there, and I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a well planned reception!

Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport was the venue for our ceremony and reception as well as an over night stay for several out of town guests. It was the perfect one stop shop! Our ceremony was in the beautiful atrium which provided an outdoor feel without having to worry about the weather. Following the ceremony, the guests moved right down the hall into the ballroom. Heather Walsh, the Social Catering Manager was FANTASTIC to work with. She was always friendly, organized, and responded within a day to my many questions throughout the process. The entire catering staff was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed throughout the reception as well as the gift opening breakfast the next morning. We had a beautiful and perfect wedding day and much credit is given to all the staff here! I highly recommend the Embassy Suites for ceremony and/or reception!

Planning process & Misc.:
Embassy Suites was my first and only choice after seeing their venues.Sarah and her team did amazing and made it a stress-free day for us. From the 9 month's I spent planning I felt like a priority. Sarah or someone from her team was always around to respond to my emails or phone calls with questions or concerns(Or when we were constantly changing our mind on things!) They worked with us to make sure we were sticking to our budget. Both Sarah and her manager made us both feel at ease when we cut it a little close for comfort. For coming in just a few months before the wedding and taking over her department she did very well! Both my husband and I were very impressed with everything from the food to the service we received from her wait-staff. They were always very attentive and accommodating. Making sure every detail was covered and done in the most professional matter.
Food:
We had NY strip steaks and Chicken Piccatta with Yellow Yukon potatoes, and Mixed veggies with rolls, salads, and hosted snacks.Food was done to perfection, they accommodated my flower girl who had allergies to Milk, Eggs, and Nuts, and made sure to check with my photographers and DJ if they were hungry(which was really sweet and unexpected. +Bonus!)
Atrium:
They made sure to have it nice and clean and free of any clutter. The chairs were set up on time for rehearsal at 11am and made sure to check in to make sure things were running smoothly(which they were).
Reception area:
Turned out beautifully! The napkins matched our colors perfectly. My guests commented on how beautiful everything looked all night long! When it got warm from all the guests moving about the wait-staff made sure to open a door to help us cool it down.. Even went as far as bringing in fans to help circulate air around the room.
We can't begin to thank the team at Embassy for everything they did to take the worries and stress off of me on our special day. I would recommend them to any bride who is planning a wedding by herself. You will not be disappointed!

Planning process was made more difficult than it should have been - they didn't tell me until my final appointment that they double booked half the space reserved for an overlap of an hour, then told me I was lucky to not have been completely cancelled. Not exactly what I needed a week before the wedding. Overall it worked out but didn't appreciate that unnecessary drama. Planning process is simplified by working with the coordinator.
Guests had issues booking the group rate - even my room rate was messed up. Hotel rooms were incredibly warm and most guests had to open the windows and listen to the planes fly in and out all night. Some guests were in rooms were security or other things got in the way of opening windows so it got pretty uncomfortable.
Service the day of was great, especially the serving staff. Received many compliments.

We held both our ceremony and reception at the Embassy Suites in October of 2013. Renee and Allie (the wedding coordinators) were so easy to work with and made everything simple! You can customize any of the packages with additional details for very little (or no) extra cost.
The atrium is a lovely place for a ceremony and the ballroom was perfect for our reception. The catering staff were great and were able to adjust on the fly as we saw how the night was going.
The vendors that Embassy recommends were generally great as well. We received tons of compliments on our ceremony and reception. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Allie & Renee were our wedding coordinators and we greatly appreciated working with them.Our reception was well organized and everything looked fabulous! The serving staff treated us like a King and Queen on the day of our wedding! Made sure to deliver our wedding dinner to our room, delivered our gifts to our room after the reception. Catered to our every needs even getting us our favorite drinks!

Not a lot of leverage for negotiation - You feel trapped in a box. Really should let you venture out and try things without being stuck and tied to what's ever included in package. you can't really dip into another package or let you pull from the al-cart items

I would HIGHLY recommend the Embassy Suites Airport for a wedding reception or other event. I really can't say enough how perfect our day was and that is much thanks to to staff at the Embassy for being so detail oriented. Our vision for our reception truly came to life and there was not 1 thing that we were lacking or unhappy with. The food was PERFECT. The service was PERFECT. Every single detail was PERFECT. I can't tell you how many comments I heard from different people about how it was the most gorgeous wedding reception that they had ever been to! If you're looking for a classy, elegant, and delicious! wedding reception... Embassy Suites Airport is the perfect place to go.

My husband and I planned our wedding from out of state. We choose Embassy because of the package option which allowed us to select everything through them. The planning process was super easy...we were able to setup our food, cake, DJ and Limo (flowers too if you want) all through them. This was SUPER helpful in not having to research additional vendors. They were super helpful in answering any questions we had along the way.
Our reception was simply amazing thanks to them! Everything at the reception was setup beautifully and just as I had imagined it would be. We were so lucky that absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day, but I also knew I didn't have to worry because Renee and Allie were there to handle it all.
I highly recommend having your reception at Embassy Suites. It's also an excellent choice if you are having guest fly in from out of town. They can get a shuttle to/from the airport and enjoy manager receptions and excellent breakfast, all in a beautiful facility. Our guests really loved staying here.

The embassy suites was a great site for a traditional reception. There packages are reasonable prices about $40-60 per person for the lower tier but that includes an hour of open bar, hors d'oeuvres, delicious dinner, a cake from Buttercream, and a credit for centerpieces with a florist (buy your own vases to get more flowers with the credit) they also have a planner on site that coordinated all the details. We not only got more bang for our buck there but the planning process was simplified since everything was handled by the planners.

My fiance and I were planning a wedding for Dec 2013 and decided to move it up a year. Not only did the Embassy Suites have a date this year open and let us move it, but they worked with us to get everything ready! They are available and easy to get a hold of if you need anything and they have helped to make this planning experience a great one! With them I was able to use their preferred vendors for flowers, cake, and DJ and so far all of the venues have been just amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone! :D

After months of planning and emailing Embassy Suites, I was pretty happy with the quick response of the caterers. The price seemed to not be very expensive and there was alot of flexibility in the options. BUT, the day of the event, the one caterer manager was there in the room checking in as we were setting up during the day for a short time to tell me she would be there at the reception. I totally expected her to be there and help with a few things to make sure the evening ran smoothly and neither of the two ladies/managers came, not once!! I didn't expect either of them to stay the whole evening of course, but certainly to help at the beginning to get things underway. How am I supposed to know exactly how to time things. I kept expecting one of them to come in and check on things, but neither did. I was completely shocked, especially after the one told me she would be there! No one but the wait staff were there (they were GREAT by the way!) but because these caterer managers were NOT there, things were confusing. The guests got there and didn't know where to sit (open seating). It would have been nice for someone to guide them a bit and tell them it was open seating and to avoid the two reserved tables. I also didn't know when to cut the wedding cake. The wait staff told me after we were running about an hour behind!and I had to walk to the DJ a couple times to figure out when to do this. AND I was told the DAY OF that I was supposed to have have meal cards so that also caused confusion, so everyone just picked one of the two meals as the meals were being served, and that worked out. The reception was ok, but it would have been alot better if someone was there. My wedding reception should have been great and not just "ok". Also because of the running late on things, we couldn't do the games we planned and also didn't do the garter or bridal bouquet toss!! A bride should NOT be running around trying to figure things out on this very special day. I am very disappointed with these two managers. Later I asked and they told me that she was 'unable to be there during the evening". What kind of response is that?

Renee and Allie at the Embassy Suites did a fabulous job of making the planning and the actual wedding day go SO smoothly. They were very quick to respond and always helped when they could! I would definitely recommend others to have their big day here!

The end result was an amazing night, but getting there was a little difficult. At first I thought that the wedding packages were a good deal, but if you have a large number of guests and want anything extra, be prepared to spend quite a bit! There were a few mix ups that I feel could have been handled a little better. Even though I was the first bride to book my wedding date, I got the last choice for a rehersal time (8pm on Thursday). There were still people eating, which made it a little awkward and loud. The original contract I received said to book your food tasting 2 weeks in advance. When I e-mailed to set up the appt I was told they were about 3 months out. Luckily they were able to work with me on that and get me in sooner. The week before the wedding at our final meeting I found out that they changed my ballroom to the smaller one, even though I signed the contract for the larger one. I was told that the other wedding they booked was larger than mine so they got the room. This made me very upset as my guests were then cramed into the smaller room. This must mean that they contract you sign does not mean anything. The night of the wedding I found out that my cake topper had been misplaced. After searching for it, they found it in the bag that I gave them with all of our other items. However, this meant that we didnt get any pictures with our cake topper. One last thing, you would think that with as much money as you are spending they would at least be able to provide you with an area for your groomsmen to get ready before the ceremony. This forced us to book 2 extra rooms the night before. Thanks to all of our other vendors (Sweet Peas, Midwest Sound, etc) the night turned out beautiful. The food was amazing. Our guests all really enjoyed themselves and the servers for dinner were great. I just feel that with how much money you are spending, the service should be top of the line.

The wedding coordinators were super helpful with planning. They even allowed us to bring in our own meat for the meal. Everything was great except for the uplighting package and the hotel staff did not do a great job of keeping the dance floor clean.
