Eric did an absolutely FANTASTIC job DJ’ing our wedding ceremony and reception. Proof #1: After the wedding, the comment I received most frequently from family and friends after the wedding was, “HOW DID YOU FIND THAT DJ?!?!” Proof #2: It has been a year since the event and when I reflect back, what stands out the most is how much fun my guests, my husband, and I had on the dance floor. From the first time we met Eric to the wedding day and even after, he was a warm, understanding, supportive, and superbly competent person to work with. He listened to our goals for the wedding and incorporated them fully into the day’s events. He provided sound for our ceremony and reception, and worked seamlessly with other vendors. The dance floor was alive and well throughout the entire reception, as he was able to cater to an extremely multigenerational and multicultural group of guests. Evidence of this is that he played not one, not two, but THREE final songs as guests kept demanding, “One more song! One more song!” On a separate note: As the wedding day jitters crept in the week prior to the vent, Eric sensed this in me, and kindly assured me that no tweak, change, or hiccup would be too much for him to work with. His response was so calming. Who knew I hired a therapist on top of a DJ?! All in all – HIRE ERIC! His work is flawless: he will run ceremony sound like an exceptionally competent fly on the wall, he ensure that you and your guests have a killer time on the dance floor, and he may even calm your nerves when you least expect it! Thanks a million, Eric! (And SO sorry for how long it look for us to write this review.)

We worked with Eric for our wedding in Hudson Valley. From start to finish he was professional, organized, and excited to work with us and make our vision come true. We had regular meetings with him in advance of the event and he was thoughtful down to the little details of how to address each of our parents and the timing of every song. He even went the extra mile to edit our first dance song ahead of time to make it a seamless transition as we cut it short. The party itself was an absolute blast - truly the best DJ that we have ever seen (this was a direct quote from MULTIPLE guests!). The party was perfectly paced, was high energy, the guests literally didnt leave the dance floor all night! To summarize some of the feedback on Eric from our guests: "incredible", "fantastic", "the best dance party I've been to in a long time". We would hire Eric again in a heartbeat. Truly surpassed every expectation, and then some.

Eric is what you want for an after party DJ. His priority was to play what we wanted and to understand our specific taste in House music. Eric video called us before to talk about the set, and we sent him about 4 hours of music. He took the time to go through all of it and did an incredible job mixing things in an absolutely iconic way. Never been to an after party where SO many people were rocking until the end. We had to drag people out at 1:30am. I’ll never ever forget it!

In New York City, there are plenty of DJs that are listed on Wedding Wire and The Knot, and I made it my mission to find someone who was truly spectacular. I am a spin instructor and regularly make playlists / DJ for my classes—needless to say I had very high expectations for my DJ. I wanted someone who has great taste in music, is a charismatic MC, and can read the room well. I was also working with a smaller guest list and guests who really aren't into dancing. During our first conversation, Eric addressed all my concerns and walked me through the different strategies he has at engaging guests and making sure they have a good time. Eric also asked me questions about our venue and our preferences—the level of detail and care he took to run through everything was what convinced me that he was going to be our DJ. I had interviewed 5-7 DJs prior to speaking with Eric and none of them were at the level of professionalism and experience that Eric was at. Even before we had formally agreed to work with one another, Eric offered to visit the wedding venue with us. He explained that even if we ultimately don’t end up choosing him, he was still interested in getting to know the space in case he had future events there. During this meeting, Eric asked the venue coordinator thoughtful questions and co-created a timeline that would work best for our wedding. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Eric was extremely responsive with any emails I sent him and would offer to chat on the phone if we needed to nail down some more involved details. On the day of the wedding, Eric arrived early and ran a full sound check prior to our wedding. I was really impressed by Eric’s set up and speakers and the way he mixed the levels made the room feel full. Throughout the night, Eric was an engaging MC and effortlessly made my family and friends feel comfortable. Eric read the room perfectly and completely blew us away by incorporating our must-play songs in the best ways. Everyone kept dancing until we were closed out of the venue. After the wedding, we were told by multiple guests that this was the best / most fun wedding they’ve been to and and couldn’t stop gushing about our DJ. I honestly cannot thank Eric enough for making all our wedding dreams come true! I have truly scoured through / interviewed the majority of the DJs on the wedding wire and the knot Eric came out on top and wildly exceeded our expectations. Absolutely hire Eric to be your DJ for your event, he is the real deal.

Eric was punctual, prepared, and professional. He was a superb DJ and also a master of ceremonies in his very cool top hat. AT the last minute the string quartet needed miking and we had a video to show and he took care of both situations seamlessly.

Eric made our wedding after party!! He was so easy to work with and defines cool when it comes to his vibe and his music. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and was flexible with timing because PEOPLE WOULD NOT STOP DANCING :) We could not recommend him enough for any occasion! He worked with us on what music we wanted to play, and can do it all! Thank you again Eric!!!

The best! Music was one of the aspects of our wedding that we cared about the most. After a long search, we found Eric and we're so glad we did! He was such a joy to work with, delivered everything we asked for, and kept everyone dancing all-night long! Not to mention he was a great MC--perfect hype man without being cheesy or annoying. He also looks so awesome in his big top hat. We got so many compliments on the music and we are so thankful to Eric for making our wedding so memorable!

We had heard Eric play a friend's wedding last year and when we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we thought of him immediately. Eric is just great--he's calm, funny, listens to what you have to say, and knows how to read the room. He even helped us orchestrate our ceremony, which was on a small rooftop. Eric was able to offer easy suggestions about how to make the blocking of the ceremony work, and kind of became the stage director for the ceremony. (Thanks again for that!) Eric is a pro, a nice guy, and knows how to make a dance floor really fun.

Our wedding reception was at a restraurant/bar and our our approach was very low-key with no real planned songs or dances etc. We didn’t give very many specifics in our meetings with Eric, but through our conversation I felt absolutely confident we were in good hands. All we did was outline a handfull of bands/singers and albums that we love and explained that dancing was not our prioirty. Cocktail hour was perfect and Eric was able to seamlessly mix in some of the obscure music we had put on our list. Since everyone at our wedding is relatively close, people started getting comfortable very quickly, and just after the toasts were given, Eric came up to me and said, “...I know you said dancing wasn’t a priority… but these people want to dance.” We let him do his thing and within minutes the crowd was bouncing. I’ve never been at a wedding or event where so many people (including the restaurant staff) commented on how good the DJ is. Multiple people discussed ways to get him to come to other events and the next morning my husband got a text from his friend that read, “Remember when the DJ played the right/best song 183 out of 183 songs last night?” Enough said. Thanks again, Eric, for everything!

A DJ plays an enormous roll on your wedding day and it was extremely important to my husband and I to find someone that fit the style we were looking for. When we had met Eric through a friend we quickly realized he was a perfect person to create that natural ambiance we were looking for at our wedding! He is not only a extremely talented DJ but he really cares about you as a person and wants to make your big day as special as possible. Eric's calm, happy and professional personality and demeanor throughout the night had out guests and I in awe. Eric was able to grab everyone's attention and make announcements when necessary but more importantly was able to get everyone up and dancing without having to say a word. It was such a positive, natural and fun energy he created!! Our experience working with Eric prior to the wedding, throughout our special day, to all the compliments we received afterwards, we were beyond satisfied, would love to work with him again and would recommend him tenfold!

We got married July 16th, 2016 so this is a long overdue review. There is no DJ better than Eric Visa. I've been to several weddings since my own, and not one DJ begins to compare. Eric is a classy guy, not a tacky wedding DJ. No parlor tricks, no tacky fake smoke, no glitter. Everything was done very tastefully. Before the wedding, Eric met with us for drinks and had a consultation to decide if we'd be a good fit to work together and then got to watch him do his thing at a lounge in Manhattan. He gave us all kinds of wedding planning tips. He was available to communicate by email/phone/text right up to the big day. We gave him a play list and a set of "rules" (we didn't want anyone singing Mmm Bop or making weird requests) which he stuck to, including calling me over when someone requested a song that wasn't on the play list. Literally every single guest had a ton of compliments for Eric. Some of our friends still tell me how great he was. I am so glad that we chose an actual DJ who really knows his music! Eric's musical vision made our reception absolutely perfect.

Eric is really great. He is the consummate professional in terms of pre-wedding arrangements (meetings, email responsiveness, contract and advice) and more importantly he is an amazing DJ. My husband and I had a great time on the dancefloor as did all of our the guests. The oldest (80), the youngest (5), and even the Reverend who married us were all on the floor. How he managed to make us all happy can only be described as magic.

Eric was a dream! He made time to meet with us and answer all of our questions when we were searching for a DJ. He completely understood the vibe we were after for our wedding and built on our requests in awesome ways. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Eric was at our wedding. He is a true master. We first met Eric in February to make sure he was a good fit for us and we hit it off immediately. We loved his vivacious personality, his professionalism and his incredible knowledge of music. Ron and I thought our taste in music would be a challenge for Eric because our tastes are so diverse and we were very picky about what we wanted in a DJ - for us, the music at the wedding was the single most defining element -we wanted people dancing till they could barely stand. And we wanted music that would appeal to my younger nieces and nephews, young adults and older classic rock and disco lovers. And Eric 'got it' immediately (now, to top it off, we provided Eric with a playlist of songs that was like 4 days long so just culling through that was a feat!) Of course , the real testament to Eric's talent is that that all through the night even the wait staff was dancing their way in and out of the kitchen! Thank you Eric for all you did. You exceeded our wildest expectations!

Eric is awesome! He will not take your business for granted. We first met with Eric at a bar in Manhattan to see his DJ style, after sharing a drink and some good conversation. He handled MC duties at the wedding and did a great job. And of course, the music. He did a great job combining our requests with a mix of songs for the rest of the crowd. He's not corny at all and he is an incredible mixer. You can't go wrong with Eric!

When spending the amount it costs for a good wedding, really all you're looking for is to get your money's worth. DJ Eric Visa gave us that and more. We didn't want some hack wedding DJ playing the black eyed peas and ruining a good time. He had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. We met in person and spoke via email numerous times before the wedding and he was completely on board with what we were looking for. Eric is a great guy and really worked hard to give us a memorable night based on our wants. His transitions during our ceremony were flawless and from the reception intro to the last song, he played the perfect music for a great dance party. He also traveled from NYC to Rhode Island, so no matter where you are in the Northeast, Eric should be your man. Can't say enough positive about him. Neither can our guests!

Without hesitation we so enthusiastically recommend Eric for any event! He kept the dancefloor at our wedding packed til the very end with guests of all ages enjoying his selection of tunes. Eric surpassed all of our expectations and our guests could not stop complimenting his performance. From the moment Eric started playing, the dance floor was full and it stayed that way all night long. Eric is very passionate about DJ'ing and he made this entire process comfortable for my wife and I. We met with Eric twice before our wedding day and also had a couple of phone calls with him and he was extremely responsive throughout the process. Eric had some great suggestions for us regarding our music list and itinerary for the day which were fantastic. Eric arrived at the venue early and set up his amazing sound system on our outdoor dance floor. He took his time getting to know the crowd dynamic and adjusted his song list accordingly to be sure everyone had their time to shine on the dance floor. I have already recommended Eric to many of my friends and i will surely be using him again at my next big event. Thanks again Eric, you made out wedding night!

Eric was fantastic! He created the exact vibe we wanted at our wedding. He played the songs we asked and very easily filled in the gaps with all of the music we love to hear. The pre-contract meeting was great as it helped us get a feel for his style and thoughts around making our day the best day EVA. We would DEFINITELY recommend Eric for any event. Eric communicated with us on multiple occasions well in advance of the event date to ensure that he was clear about our expectations. He efficiently coordinated with our wedding planner and the venue to delineate responsibilities. Eric was also extremely accommodating to a last minute change in ceremony location, and was quick to adjust his setup and reroute long power cables when the venue failed to provide power at the pre-negotiated location. Despite the challenges, he delivered a high quality, seamless transition of our music set throughout our event without burdening us with the challenges at any point along the way. We were very impressed with his professionalism, thoroughness, clear communication skills, sensitivity to the our needs, and overall attention to detail. It was a pleasure working with Eric and we appreciate his contributions to the success of our wedding!

After cake, we transitioned from band to DJ. We were very specific with Eric about the type of dance party we wanted to create. He played for three hours straight, and our guests had a blast. We asked for mostly a mix of 70s and 80s dance classics, with current artists mixed in, for the kids. But seems like he can do nearly any genre. No cheesy macarana/funky chicken nonsense, and no useless banter.
