Esca Restaurant and Wine Bar Middletown

We had our wedding reception here on June 16. Esca was wonderful, and just what we wanted. The food was awesome. Everyone(!) raved about the cake made by their in-house pastry chef. They even had a signature cocktail and posted a sign for us. We had about 65 people and we used the balcony upstairs. Esca let us bring in our own speaker so we used a playlist for the music rather than hiring a DJ. We did an open bar, but with the per drink option (paid for what people consumed), which I think saved us $. We didn't end up renting a dance floor, but they let us dance upstairs regardless. Marisa did seem to forget that we had met before each time I talked to her, but I cannot imagine the number of people she meets every day. Elisa was wonderful the one time I met her. They are not very communicative via email, so phone or in person works best.

I had my rehearsal dinner in May 2021. I would recommend Esca to anyone for their rehearsal dinner. My family and I sat upstairs and felt like we had our own private place. The staff was very easy to work and communicate with. The food was AMAZING, the wine was delicious, and our waiter, Matt, was incredible. This is your rehearsal dinner spot!!!

After my sister had her bridal shower at Esca, I knew I would definitely have mine there as well! Elisa and her staff are so attentive and helpful! They made my experience so personal and wonderful! Plus, when my mom was nervous about running out of tables, chairs, or even food, the staff were so quick to ease our fears and let us know that they would take care of anything extra we needed. Elisa is always available to answer your questions either by phone or email to make sure your event is planned perfectly. I would STRONGLY recommend Esca to any bride looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and of course delicious restaurant for her bridal shower. I know we will work with them again for future events and parties!

We had a rehearsal dinner in the back mezzanine area for over 60 people, and the Esca staff was wonderful! We were running late from the rehearsal, and there was a mix up with the time, but they handled it well, and quickly put food out for folks and started serving drinks.
