I wish I could do zero stars, but unfortunately The Knot requires at least one. I cannot make this more clear - DO NOT USE. I booked Ashley back in March and paid over a $600 deposit. Then I never heard from her again. I reached out multiple times via email come August and only heard back from her once I asked our caterer if she knew what was going on. We hired her to bartend our wedding, and she was supposed to give us a list of alcohol/mixers/garnishes to purchase. Once we booked, we never even received that list from her. She refused to refund us, even though there were absolutely NO services rendered and she never even signed our contract. This vendor is USELESS and if I were you, I would avoid at all costs. We are so glad we fired her and hired someone else more reliable and communicative. Terrible customer service. Terrible business. I have warned all of my vendors not to work with or recommend her in the future.
All the one star reviews are correct. Same old story -- wish I had read the reviews before I booked. Excruciatingly uncommunicative and unprofessional. Many excuses ranging from sick friends to time change issues to emails stuck in inbox to computer glitches. She confused me with other clients, sent me weird gifs on "accident" via text. Just weird stuff that makes you go "how is this person a business owner"? Seems to have no self awareness. Took her 5 weeks to respond to questions in an email and didn't even give us the grocery list we asked for when she responded finally. Dragged out our communications (missed ALL our meetings and then would say via text that she was about to send emails which never came) for weeks.13 days before our wedding when we finally pulled the plug on her services, she tried to smooth things over; but, then when I began asking for refunds - she refused to refund us because it was too close to the wedding and that she put work into the grocery list already. Asked her to then send the grocery list since we paid for it and she refused to give us the list (I doubt she even made it in the first place). So out $900 for a head ache. DO NOT USE. -- as an aside, after we realized we were maybe dealing with a scammer, we reached out to other vendors in nh and EVERY SINGLE ONE unprompted said AVOID. They said she pads her own reviews on google and is flakey, wont show up to events, "will take your money and run". If other vendors say you suck, you suck.
Do not hire!!! She basically becomes unresponsive after payment. She cancelled multiple calls and sometimes didn’t show up and makes so many excuses. It takes her forever to respond. I finally got her on the phone once after hiring her and I just needed help with tent and chair rentals and she said she would have some possible companies back to me that night but it took her a month! That was my final straw and the only reason she actually sent them was because I said I didn’t feel comfortable working with her anymore. Now I am out $1,050! Please stay away
I am a bride that hired Ashley do planning and coordination services. We decided to terminate our contract. The explanation why is following, which is exactly what we sent to her. She did follow up with a phone call to try to patch things over, but at this point we were just ready to part ways and unfortunately lose out of over $1,200.

Due to the following reasons, we have decided to terminate our contract working with you. We hope that you understand our decision and are willing to refund our retainer due to the extenuating circumstances.
1. Repeated lack of timely communication and provided information (see below for instances)
2. False information on the venue - the Barn does not have bathrooms or heat, which resulted in an added expense
3. Inaccurate budget numbers for catering - After getting quotes from multiple catering companies for drop off services for basic BBQ buffet, the lowest quote I received was over $3,000. You had informed us that a budget of $1500-2000 would be sufficient.
4. Misinforming us that we can provide our own alcohol. After extensive research, we have found that the state of Vermont does not allow this at all. This results in a significant increase in our alcohol budget.
Communication issues:
1. 8/6/21 - requested time to visit the venue, had to follow up on 8/10/21, and again on 8/15/21. Received response on 8/15/22
2. 30 minutes late to venue tour
3. 8/23/21 - requested list of hotels, 8/25/21 - you said you would send the list shortly, had to follow up on 8/31/21. Received list on 8/31/21
4. 8/31/21 - You said you would send over an updated contract. Have yet to receive
5. 9/2/21 - I requested pictures and information of decor. 11/18/21 - followed up on seeing decor and receiving an alcohol shopping list. 11/20/21 - received response promising the alcohol list in the next few days and set up call for 11/28/21. Did not receive a call on 11/28/21, I had to follow up on 11/29/21. Received response but no alcohol list. Followed up on the alcohol shopping list on 12/1/21, received response with follow up questions but no list. Followed up on the alcohol shopping list on 12/3/21. Received shopping list on 12/3/21 after follow up. Scheduled decor conversation for 12/9/21 at 7pm. Received request to reschedule on 12/8/21. Did not receive any follow up to reschedule.
6. 9/28/21 - emailed summary of phone conversation, asking for response, no response. I followed up on 10/13/21, Received response 10/13/21.
7. 1/6/22 - Sent email regarding alcohol legalities, followed up on 1/10/22. Received acknowledgement of the email, but have yet to receive a response.
Ashley was amazing from start to finish with all the fine details put my mind at ease was a beautiful wedding perfect day no stress
I am a wedding planner and Caterer. I was in need of some staffing support and Ashley stepped in to help! She handles close to 2 dozen events for me. Each event got rave reviews. She is a true professional that has been honing her craft over a long career in the wedding industry. She is the best of the best and I highly recommend her services!
The one star I HAVE to give is to give Ashley Clay some credit for being able to manipulate numerous clients to keep her business up & running. Not only did Ashley completely drop the ball on the DAY of my wedding, but in the months leading up to and days after as well.
THE LIES – (compulsive liar doesn’t even begin to describe her)
- She led us on thinking she would be at our wedding – she ended up telling the wrong information to numerous bartenders so he showed up late AND to the wrong wedding (not his fault)
- Mixed messaging about responsibilities for supplies (drinkware, storage, bar setup, etc)
- Told us she would send for more ice when ours was late – none ever came
- Per our contract we were to have a call to go over alcohol ‘shopping list’ so we would have enough – call got rescheduled over and over until the WEEK of our wedding – and she told us wrong amounts
- After our coordinator communicated the issues to Ashley, we were promised a call on Monday (8.23) to “make things better” – we heard nothing so I reached out Tuesday afternoon, received a text saying she would talk to us later that night – once again she flaked on the call, citing something that had happened on Sunday – when we finally had the call we agreed on a full refund
- Was told the process will all be started in 24 hours – 48 hours later and no one had heard from Ashley – when I called to ask what happened she started copping an attitude and insinuating that I was lying and she told me 48 hours, adding that she was at bank now and will get me the money in a few hours
- I did get my full refund, but I’m not confident I would have received it if I hadn’t ‘confronted’ her about it
I did get an apology from Ashley, when she was at the bank – “I’m sorry things aren’t instant enough for you.” Thanks Ashley, but I don’t care about instant, I just wanted HONESTY.
I’m sure she’ll have a rebuttal to this review but oh well, we all know the truth. To any brides or part planners, do NOT hire or use Ashley Clay with Eventfully Yours.
I was in a bind when my assistant that I hired told me she could no longer assist me with a 250+ wedding. I asked Ashley if she or her staff were available. She told me she could do it herself. From that day we talked about what I needed and even hired her for a few more hours. She was so helpful, kind and jumped right in. She is a
Quick problem solver and really was more than I could have imagined. Without her assistance I don’t think I could have jumped through all the hoops that were in my way that days please take a look at Ashley’s good reviews she is kinda compassionate, will do anything for anyone.
As soon as you sign the contract she becomes unresponsive. I went almost one month without hearing from her so I disputed it on my credit card. As soon as she got word she tried contacting me again. DONT USE. She will just cause you more stress.
Everything about my bar was super cute and well put together! Everyone had such amazing things to say the next day about the service. Ashley even took a bunch of photos and sent them to me right away! I'm so glad my planner hired eventfully yours.
I hired Ashley to help plan my brothers proposal to his girlfriend! Communicating with her was a breeze! She showed up early, she had a car load of props & decor to create a magical proposal. I’m so thrilled we hired her & im sure they’ll be contacting her for their wedding! (She said YES!)
AMAZING!! After multiple cancelled wedding events and plans due to COVID, we went the backyard wedding route. It felt like ANYTHING but a typical “backyard party”. They coordinated so many things for us, and their awesome service and fun personalities were the perfect match for our intimate setting. Ashley was so amazing that my parents worked with her again for a surprise party they threw for us so our friends were able to celebrate as well (due to guidelines, we had to cut our original list by 3/4). The hand crafted mixers were INCREDIBLE and there was an extensive list to choose from. Not a drop left at the end of the night! They were sure to abide by all safety guidelines during these crazy times, and still managed to make it feel like a “normal” pre-covid celebration! We will definitely be looking for any excuse to work with them again!!
I can’t recommend Ashley enough. Our daughter’s wedding was “planned” 3 times due to Covid. We went from 200 guests down to 50 which excluded all of their friends. When the final blow came and we had to cut the third time Ashley understood how devastating it was and suggested a second reception for their friends. We did and it was amazing. Great to see Ashley again and in a more casual event. She knocked it out of the park with signature drinks!!!
Do not use!!! Took our money then became completely unresponsive to calls, emails, messages via social. Not until we cancelled the credit transaction did they reach out in a rude, unprofessional manner. AVOID!
This company is amazing! Ashley was honest and upfront about costs before and during the process so we could have everything that we wanted at a price that we could afford. She was very polite and always had a smile on her face. I trusted that her and her staff would make our day special and they did. Our venue looked amazing! Beautiful flowers every where and a friendly staff to tend to our needs. She helped us find an amazing photographer, DJ, and catering company with an amazing chef. I would highly recommend this company!
Ashley Clay is an amazing wedding coordinator, she was very helpful from start to finish and even afterwards. Ashley also catered my wedding and the food was phenomenal. She is a very kind, and special individual who takes her brides and grooms and makes them the most important part of their day. There were times everything was moving in front of me and I couldn't find a way to voice what I wanted as the bride, and Ashley was able to define to guests, family members, and vendors, that this day was about my husband and I. If she hadn't asked me a few times "what do you want right now?" I wouldn't have been able to say anything. Our family is so greatful to her for everything she did. We had a 4 hour ceremony (budget reasons) and it truly wasn't enough. Ashley had warned me that might happen, and sure enough we fell short on time. If I have any tips for a bride to be, it's listen to Ashley!!!!
Ashley and her team are amazing. She went above and beyond from beginning to end to be creative to work within my budget for all aspects of the wedding. I worked beside her as a DJ and watched her go above and beyond for every client. I knew she would do a great job at my wedding and she definitely didn't disappoint.

Eek! Methinks not.
We were very disappointed with the services Ashley at Eventfully Yours provided. We hired her as a day-of coordinator and bartending service. Early on I realized she was not very organized and didn't have a great network of vendors. I often had to send reminders, waited weeks between emails, and wasted time reviewing low-quality vendors she had recommended. She canceled multiple meetings on me. Then she started posting photos of our engagement shoot that were not shared publicly on her public instagram - without our permission. Closer to the wedding I realized how bad the situation was. She was supposed to take over communications 30 days before the wedding, but cited elective surgery and moving as to why she didn't do things on time. 8 days before the wedding she still hadn't contacted everyone, wasn't responding to our vendors, and failed to let me know that one of our vendors had changed. When we chatted on the phone she offered to pick up and place our alcohol order. She mentioned how it was right on the way, and how she didn't mind doing it. The we got hit with a bill for $312 to pick it up. She did not provide receipts when asked. We were frustrated but were willing to compromise on a lower fee or pick it up ourselves - she refused. Instead of taking responsibility for her mistake, she became nasty, "I'm very sorry that you didnt understand that 2 extra days work would cost extra money. You obviously understand that services cost money to use." After some digging, we realized she overcharged us for the alcohol and charged us a $200 refundable keg deposit that she would be getting back. I spent the days leading up to my wedding in extreme stress and tears. We finally made the decision to fire her few days before the wedding. We lost thousands of dollars - we didn't get any refunds and had paid gratuity upfront. We had to pay for a second bartending service at the last minute. I hope this saves someone else from a bad experience.
I can't say enough good things about Ashley and her team. We used Eventfully Yours for day of planning and our bar and waitstaff. They all went above and beyond. I honestly couldn't have done it without Ashley. She had great suggestions and made sure my day went smoothly. A few things went wrong throughout the day and she was there to help and solve everything. She fixed my broken bustle, she sent her staff out for eye drops, and helped me get cake out of my dress. I highly recommend, it was the best decision!
Eventfully Yours staff of Mary Kate and Ashley are excellent bartenders and can handle a large crowd. Professional service with a great attitude. These girls hustled in over 95 degree temps and every person in attendance was thrilled with not only their service but their personalities! You will not be disappointed if you choose Eventfully Yours for your event! Thank you Ashley and Mary Kate!
