This was not our first wedding and we know the hardest part is finding the venue within a budget. Eastern Shore Events did that for us. They listened to what we wanted, found it and it was cheaper than doing it ourselves, not to mention we didn't have to do any searching. They have an amazing florist, DJ and bakery that they work with and we could not have had a more perfect day.

Our wedding could not have been what it was without ESE. We knew were in good hands throughout the entire planning process. Since we live 3 hours away, we needed someone who we could trust, who could provide us with the best local contacts that were the right fit for us and also someone who could step in for any task that we were not able to take on ourselves. She exceeded our expectations when it came to that and everything else beyond that. She really got to know us, our style and what was best for us every step of the way. Debbie's attention to detail was recognized and praised by all of our guests. We loved working with her and recommend her to anyone planning their big day.

Deb of Eastern Shore Events, was wonderful, supportive and a tremendous wedding planner, helping make my son and daughter-in-law's wedding a most perfect, beautiful affair. I would highly recommend checking her out for your wedding or event.

Some folks would have thought it a little odd to hire a wedding planner that is located at the beach to handle our daughter's wedding deep in the mountains of VA. All I can say is thank goodness we did! Debbie, and her florist(also Debbie) did an amazing job and absolutely made this event. Without Debbie's guidance and direction, advice and all- out effort to help us find the best vendors at the most reasonable prices the wedding would have been much, much less successful. And her personality blended in so well with our group that my other three daughters want to hire her when it comes to be their time(although I hope not too soon!) We highly recommend that you hire Debbie (and all the good folks that she can help bring to the table) to help make your special day all the more special.

WOW, I don't even know where to start! Our entire experience with Deb from Eastern Shore Events was absolutely phenomenal. From the beginning, she went out of her way to make sure she knew what our vision was and she made it happen, no matter what! We originally planned to have our wedding at a house in OC, MD on the bayside. After we booked it, there were some complications and we could no longer use that site anymore. Without skipping a beat (and on her Birthday even) she found several backup plans for us that were even more beautiful and fit our vision even better. We ended up booking Back Bay Bungalows so we could have several of our family and friends stay there with us for the week. It was perfect. Our theme was rustic romantic with a very intimate feel. Leading up to the week of our wedding, Deb was in full force and had a plan C in full effect. Believe it or not, a hurricane was planing to hit that weekend but, she had the ballroom of the hotel where all our guests where staying on reserve and ready to go. All of our vendors pitched in and made it absolutely beautiful. Everything was stunning and went so smoothly that day, that when people say, so sorry about the weather and all the floods I almost forget what they are talking about because Deb did such a good job keeping all of that in the background! She made our dream wedding come true.

Being a part-time and fairly new visitor to Bethany Beach, Debbie Weyland of Eastern Shore Events came highly recommended when we set out to plan our daughter's wedding on the beach. The venue was merely in blueprint stages, and the timetable put it 'ready' for our event. There were many many snags along the way that Debbie tirelessly helped us resolve. She is an ultimate professional - communicating and navigating all the vendors to present an absolutely beautiful wedding for our daughter. We are from New York, and have clearly different standards than many, but even for our NY guests, the reviews were 'amazing', 'glamorous', and 'just perfect'. Thanks Debbie!

We planned our daughter's wedding in OC, MD from our home in NJ. We were hesitant to use a wedding planner. We are so happy that we made the choice to do this, and so happy we chose Debbie Wayland! She was professional, helpful and her services were priceless! I don't think we would've made it though they day without Jenn running it. She kept everything on track and even did announcements when (at the last minute) I was talked into being traditionally announced. She was absolutely necessary, and we had a relatively relaxed wedding.

Within our first phone call, Deb saved us close to $3000!!! We told her how we had tried to plan our wedding on our own, what we wanted, and what beach venue we thought we had our hearts set on. There were a few issues that the beach venue created- one being that sand wasn't the best for some of our elderly family members to walk on, but we so desperately desired the feel of a beach wedding. Using her knowledge of the area and available vendors, Deb was able to find us a venue that exceeded our expectations, provided a stable ground to walk on, solved all of our problems, and gave us the beach feel we wanted. We initially met at the potential venue to discuss our ideas and to establish Deb as a day-of coordinator, but after chatting with her, we knew she would be well worth the additional expense to have her involved in every aspect. Deb was invaluable (and saved us money) every step of the way. Debbie sent us updated spreadsheets with the costs and budget, kept us organized, and ensured that we booked each vendor in a timely manner. Our wedding was absolutely amazing! There wasn't a single issue. She worked well with every vendor. Having our wedding in Lewes, DE and using vendors recommended by Debbie made our team feel like family by the end of the night and we were so sad to have it all end. But, we have amazing pictures, a video that DJ Bump exudes his enthusiasm (he really does LOVE weddings), and memories to last a lifetime. Debbie really is a Planner Extroadinaire! We love her!

Eastern Shore Events helped me plan my special day. When I first met Debbie (owner) she was so bubbly, excited and energetic to be a part of my wedding. Debbie's caring and honest demeanor immediately put my mother and I at ease. Debbie was with us every step of the way. At times, Debbie seemed more excited about the whole process than I was! Debbie was with us picking out our vendors and provided insightful and excellent advice. Debbie handled so much for our wedding that we were actually able to sit back and enjoy the whole process!!! Whenever I asked Debbie a question through a text message, email, or phone call, she responded right away and was always so helpful. Debbie has all the right connections and allows her customers to use her contacts to find the best vendors. Eastern Shore Events is affordable but extremely classy with taste. My wedding ceremony and reception was the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. I received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. My wedding was so perfect and I owe it all to Eastern Shore Events. I will use Eastern Shore Events in the future and will recommend this company in the future, hands down!

We hired Eastern Shore Events to help coordinate the last month of our wedding. I am so glad we found them! We planned our wedding from the west coast, and we didn't realize until less than 2 months out from the big day that we would need help! Debbie was so great. She jumped right in and started fine tuning all the details with me right away, and was so easy to work with. I was very confident throughout the whole process. We exchanged plenty of emails and phone calls since I couldn't meet her in person. As the last week approached, I was in contact with Ellen, who was to be the coordinator on site. She was so great at executing our vision without ever meeting in person until the day before the wedding. As much as you plan and prep, there are always last minute snags that just happen--Ellen and Haley handled them gracefully! Our ceremony and reception were in two separate locations, we had a handful of DIY decorations, and a scare with my bouquet, and not once did they seem overwhelmed (because I sure was!) Ellen was also great at keeping us to our timeline and throughout our whole evening, she continued to check in with us to make sure we were doing fine. Having that personal contact was very nice. It was such a relief working with a team of reliable professionals at Eastern Shore Events. I dont even know where to begin with explaining how amanzing Debbie and her team were throughout the planning process and ON the wedding day. We had to completely change our wedding plans less than 4 months before our wedding day due to family issues and Debbie stepped right in and made the day more than we could have even dreamed of. She made sure every detail was taken care of, she ran every idea passed us with numerous options, found us the best vendors and prices. There wasnt one item or issue Debbie didnt know how to resolve. Her work is truly priceless! We would have never had such a beautiful wedding without her. Just completely incredible...I cannot thank them enough. I hope to work with them again some day!

Debbie Wayland and the whole crew at Eastern Shore Events were more than fabulous throughout the whole planning and execution of our wedding! The was not one second of the day where I was worried if things were going to go as planned because I knew that I had an amazing crew there to make sure it happened. Debbie was my go to if I needed anything at all. She kept our documents and rings safe, helped keep my mom sane, and made sure that our day was everything we could have every imagined and more. Im not exaggerating when I say that not one single thing went wrong. Well with the exception of our grooms men loosing buttons before the wedding, but then again Debbie and her husband were there to save the day! I would HIGHLY recommend using Eastern Shore Events to plan your next big event. The price is right, the people are fabulous, and they will do their best to make sure everything turns out just the way you pictured it!

From the first meeting I had with Debbie I knew I had a great find! She wanted to know exactly what our thinking was and the vision we had of how we saw the wedding play out. The wedding was out of town, and my daughter and I live in different cities, so there was a lot of coordinating to be done. In addition to that, we had a barbecue at our home Thursday night and a Welcome Party after the Rehearsal Dinner Friday night. She assisted me in planning and executing both of those events. She helped me find a wonderful caterer for Thursday night and the perfect spot for the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party Friday night and followed through with all the planning with them, always keeping me informed. When it came to the wedding, after we made our selections, she orchestrated everything with the event coordinator at the club where our reception was held, the rental companies and the florist. She assisted us with some of the small details too. She is willing and able to do whatever is asked of her and has incredible patience! I highly recommend Debbie for whatever event you are planning. You can't go wrong!

Debbie Wayland helped plan (and execute) my son's wedding in Rehoboth Beach. She was competent, professional, and, most of all, calm and soothing. I never knew how stressful it was being a participant in a wedding! Debbie assisted me host the groom's dinner/welcoming party, and the after wedding brunch that we shared with the bride's parents. Her greatest coup was to negotiate the dinner/party at a restaurant that had initially declined my request. Guests raved about the events! I would unqualifiedly recommend Eastern Shore Events to help make any celebration a success!

Our wedding was AMAZING and we have one person to thank for that, Debbie Wayland. She took the time to get to know us and it showed at our wedding. There were times when my mom and I didn't see eye to eye, and Debbie somehow found a way to make both of us happy. Looking back I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding, other than paying Debbie more! She was worth every penny and some. ABSOLUT had 50 guests come into town from across the region for a week long meeting. One of the days was spent team building. Debbie put together a very fun and interactive day of beach olympics followed by a dinner on the beach. Her creativity and enthusiam to entertain our guests was wonderful! More importantly, her communication and follow through were fantastic. I couldn't have done it without her!
