Emma is the absolute best!!! From start to finish it was such a pleasure working with her and getting to know her. Not only did she handle our floral but was our coordinator leading up to the wedding. No detail was missed with Emma. Emma took my vision for my wedding and not only brought it to life but made it better. The entire process was incredible and people are still talking about our flowers and disco balls!!

Emma is truly talented at her craft. From the moment I had my consultation with Emma, she put me, an overwhelmed bride with many ideas, at ease. She answered all my questions and was understanding of our budget. I could tell she saw my vision throughout the consultation and couldn’t wait to work with her. A few months out, and once the wedding had a true direction, I contacted Emma to chat about some changes to the original proposal I was thinking about. She was so accommodating and easy to work with through these changes. I sent her some reference photos and some details from the wedding she would need and let her do her thing. While I was getting ready the morning of the wedding, I couldn’t stop thinking about the flowers and how everything was coming together (and my future husband). When I walked up to the venue for our first look I got my first glimpse at the work Emma and her amazing team created. From the dreamy reflexed roses in the centerpieces to the gorgeous hanging carnations at our ceremony site, Emma absolutely nailed it. My bouquet was even more beautiful than I could imagine and my bridesmaids with mini versions. Emma suggested floral combs for my mom and mother in law as a modern take on a corsage that were perfect. I am so glad we found First Blush and that Emma took all the thoughts from my head and made our dreams come true. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were. Luckily, I’m preserving my bouquet, so I can see our dream day every day.

Emma repeatedly went above and beyond to make our wedding floral dreams come true. She was sensitive to our budget (more so than any other florist we spoke to) and she worked tirelessly to incorporate beautiful, budget-friendly blooms into higher-end installations. Emma not only understood our vision, but executed it to a T. We valued florals above most other elements of our wedding and we were extremely particular; and yet, Emma blew us away with how well she captured our vision. In the week leading up to our wedding, I had more than a few moments of worrying deeply that things wouldn’t come out as we hoped and every time, Emma put me at ease. She listened patiently as I debated which color ribbon I wanted to wrap my bouquet in and how long it should be. She was nimble to near-last-minute changes and remained flexible far past when she needed to be. She is so obviously talented but she’s also extremely kind and patient. In an industry filled with over-the-top vendors, Emma is a bright spot. You will not regret hiring her!

Emma was 12/10. We first enlisted her help for florals after seeing her effortlessly beautiful but classy work. Once getting closer to the day of it was clear we would need a bit more help with coordination leading up to and on the day and also pulled her onboard for planning services. To say she was excellent across the board is an understatement. She is a true professional who spent the time helping me organize my thoughts and life beforehand and also made the day run extremely smoothly without feeling like there was any stress behind it. I couldn’t have done it without her and will be forever grateful. OH AND THE BEAUTIFUL FLORALS, just an added bonus on top of it all.

Emma was so sweet, very easy to work with, and responded fairly quickly whenever I emailed her! She did our bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages for our wedding this fall and they were so beautiful!!! I had a rough idea of what I wanted but needed help finalizing exactly what I wanted since I don’t have a great amount of knowledge when it comes to flowers. Emma gave me suggestions for the bouquets and wasn’t pushy with things that I didn’t like. Whatever request I had, she made it happen and I am so grateful to have come across her business while wedding planning. Floral was definitely the hardest vendor to find when it came to wedding planning for me and Emma immediately took the stress off my shoulders when we started talking. Thank you again Emma for being a part of our wedding and making our floral look so beautiful!

Emma was my day of coordinator for my October wedding. Our venue was indoor/outdoor and she ultimately had to create several different floor plans with me. Without her, I think I would have had several panic attacks. Every time I spoke with her I felt collected and normal again. Things made sense. Unfortunately, she was not present on the day of our wedding but her assistant Maggie was there. Maggie was beyond what I could have expected and hoped for. There was an issue with my florist and she handled it perfectly. At the end of the night everything was in our car and orderly so we could make a seamless exit. I can't say enough great things about how helpful and supportive Emma and Maggie were. My wedding was nothing short of the best day of my life and I am so thankful to both of them for making it happen for me!

We had an amazing experience with Emma, the flowers were beautiful! Everything from the planning to the wedding went smoothly and Emma was very mindful of our budget and very quick when we requested changes. Emma also found the exact Dahlia that was in my Pinterest board.

Emma’s work is jaw-dropping! We got so many compliments on our flowers, from our bouquets to our centerpieces. She took my “deep, romantic fall vibe with texture” and really ran with it. I wanted more unique, and she absolutely delivered. Bonus: Emma and her team also takes down at the end of the night. Just beautiful!

We absolutely loved working with Emma & her team. From first conversation to proposal, we felt she really "got" us, and our coordinator agreed. She worked within our budget and timeframe, providing different options for spaces at different price points, and even allowed us to swap vases at the last minute so that relatives could bring home some of her beautiful flowers. We were blown away by Emma and our entire experience with First Blush. We had a very fuzzy vision of our picture for our wedding day, and from the beginning conversation with Emma, she brought clarity and creativity to work with us in bringing our vision to life. Emma was extremely professional and just downright kind. From her initial design proposal, to her quick responsiveness in adjusting details, to her reassurance and recommendations when making decisions along the way, Emma was truly a joy to work with. During the height of the pandemic, Emma was transparent and had our best interests at heart, proactively explaining the impact the pandemic was having on the floral industry and how she would advocate for bringing our vision to light, but acknowledging we may need to pivot based on availability. Furthermore, Emma went above and beyond -- sending us the KINDEST care package to celebrate our engagement, and another gift after we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Emma brought a rawness and realness that is special and somewhat rare in partnering with vendors. By the end of the journey, Emma felt like an old friend who we shared an amazing journey - and ultimately a beautiful end result. Our bouquets, chuppah, table arrangements, welcome floral display, and details on our memorial table and place settings table were all BEAUTIFUL and we will have friends and family complimenting how gorgeous everything was. I can't recommend First Blush enough. I cannot recommend Emma highly enough as both a planner and a florist! Our wedding plans, like many others, changed throughout COVID. Emma was much more than the "month of" planner we hired her for. She was calm, professional, and creative in helping us come up with plans A, B, and C. And when it came time to (finally!) execute our reception, I couldn't have asked for a better day. She made sure every detail was attended to so that my husband and I could relax and enjoy ourselves. First Blush also did our flowers, which were absolutely gorgeous and got so many compliments throughout the night!
