The Five Bride Inn was the PERFECT location for our special day. We knew that once we toured the property two years ago, that this was where we needed to be while celebrating with all of our loved ones and friends! We chose to have our ceremony outside on the property at the birch Arbor and had our reception in the beautiful Innkeeper Barn.
Our wedding planner, Sonya, went above and beyond throughout the planning process and making sure everything ran smoothly leading up to the wedding and for the remainder of our day! She was always great with communication and answering any questions in the planning process. Truly a pleasure and easy ti work with. She even checked on us several times in the morning as the time was counting down to the ceremony! She reassured everything ran smoothly without a hitch! Even as we were about to enter our reception, she made sure to run over and grab us an extra drink while giving us a quick pep talk to calm nerves!!!
The Inn staff also treated us with VIP service while staying overnight and feeding us a delicious breakfast in the morning as newlyweds with some of our friends.
10/10 would recommend this venue and especially to work with Sonya for any wedding planning needs!
Our wedding at Five Bridge Inn was absolutely breathtaking! The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The Retreat Barn has lights strung up that looked amazing with the drapery done by Atvxlo. The team is easy to communicate with and flexible. There is also a solid rain plan option that looks just as beautiful as the outdoor ceremony area. We cannot thank Five Bridge Inn enough for being a part of our special day!
Amazing and magical venue! We just had such an amazing wedding in the Inn Keeper Barn at Five Bridge Inn. Everyone who works there is amazing, thank you James, Maria, and Lisa for making our day/night magical. They also went above and beyond to let us shoot our engagement photos there. We highly recommend five bridge inn. All of our guests were blown away by the venue.
Our wedding day at the Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, MA, was absolutely magical! The stunning barn provided the perfect rustic and elegant setting, while the gorgeous scenery made every photo breathtaking. The staff at the Five Bridge Inn was amazing—so kind, attentive, and detail-oriented, ensuring everything went smoothly. From the beautiful grounds to the cozy accommodations, every part of the venue exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend this incredible venue!
DO NOT BOOK. What should’ve been the happiest weekend of my mother’s life turned into an utter calamity.
My mother & her partner of 15 years decided to tie the knot. Realizing many details were in place on a short timeline, my mother reached out to 5 Bridge Inn for a quote. They were thrilled to have the last minute business, hoping for a positive review, ensuring us they could provide us with the intimate experience we were hoping for. My mom booked w/ James , the owner’s son, explaining her vision, and he created a contract for her. We worked closely w/ Maria & then Ellen to ensure we had a special day. As we planned the wedding, we made a few adjustments as we realized what was important. Everything was in writing and paid for:
Guest room on the evening of wedding, paid for. Area for party to get ready, additional guests, hot chocolate bar. Cocktail hour set up along the dance floor and access to the patio was ALL PROMISED AND PAID for. But as you can probably tell from where this is headed, NOTHING was granted.. Even having a coordinator on the day of was granted and then taken away.
Late into the night before the wedding, James called my mother, not to wish her good luck, but to ask her “who the h*ll she thought she was, her requests had gotten out of hand and that she owed him a lot of money.” To recap, we hadn’t reached out for anything. HE reached out to HER demanding that extra funds be paid outside of our contractual agreement.
Sounds like there’s a disconnect between the management & sales depts. But that should be taken up in-house. Not with a bride before what should be the biggest celebration of her life.
The only saving grace was the coordinator named Ellen, who came to my mother’s side as she wept, wondering if we should back out of the event all together. She assured us not to worry, she’d do anything in her power to make the day beautiful & worked until midnight consoling my mother. Then the next day, she came very early to work for free to assure she would be the one to stand up to James if needed, because she wanted to do the right thing, not letting him bully or verbally assault anyone else.
When my husband went to speak to James to clarify what was happening, so the bride could focus on getting ready, he demanded random amounts of money that we were still to pay. $400 for this, $500 for that. When would it stop? Everything we requested was paid for in writing. We paid for every detail requested, amounting to ~$15,000 over the original price we paid. In honor of the special day we didn’t think twice about paying it. The only thing that seemed off was his math, & his brutal chauvinistic behavior.
But then to be sworn at & spoken down to the night before the wedding, demanding more money & then FIRING OUR COORDINATOR so she couldn’t deliver the positive experience…was he DELIBERATELY trying to ruin our day?!
It seems his priorities are all in a knot, and he tramples people to get what he wants, a target that keeps changing. I pity anyone working for him, tolerating his behavior in silence. It’s a shame. The staff otherwise was kind and helpful. I hear the owners are lovely as well.
Witnesses from our event said that James told them he didn’t give a “f*** about this wedding” & that he hopes we “choke.”
I pray for this man to get the help he clearly needs and by the grace of God, my mom somehow still had a beautiful day, because of the grassroots effort we made to still make it special regardless.
I want to and feel like I absolutely need to share my experience at my wedding venue, particularly regarding the manager, James, who made what should have been a joyous occasion incredibly distressing.
The night before my wedding, I received a call from James. I assumed he was calling to wish me well, but instead, he unleashed a barrage of lies and untrue statements that left me in tears.
His vulgar language and threatening demeanor were shocking and completely unwarranted. It felt as though he was determined to ruin my special day.
Unfortunately, his behavior didn’t stop there. The following day, while my daughter's assistant was setting up flowers, James continued to speak poorly about me. My son-in-law, initially thinking I might be overreacting, quickly realized the truth about James's unprofessional conduct. He made baseless threats regarding payment, claiming I hadn't paid when I had worked hard to secure every detail for this day. He even threatened to cancel the bar service unless I paid him more money, offering discounts if I paid in cash.
I was initially drawn to this venue because of the discounted rate agreed upon, which I would not have considered otherwise. It was discounted because time of year and short notice they said this was their slow season and it was on a Sunday .I paid for 95 guests and even extra for an overnight stay, though I was too anxious to actually spend the night there. Additionally, I paid for a hot chocolate bar that never materialized. Throughout the event, James continued to create an uncomfortable atmosphere, making embarrassing comments to my friends and family.
I couldn't enjoy my day or eat anything because of the anxiety he caused. I was in and out of the bathroom, overwhelmed by his aggressive behavior. However, when Ellen came to support me while I was getting ready, I finally felt a sense of safety amidst the chaos.
I was heartbroken to learn that Ellen was let go after trying to help, especially given how caring and attentive she had been. James's actions not only harmed my experience but also tarnished the venue's reputation. His unacceptable behavior needs to be addressed, and I believe his family should be made aware of it to prevent this from happening to others.
I’ve seen reviews indicating that James has acted this way before, which is deeply concerning. My family and I put a lot of effort into making this day special, yet I spent most of it worrying about James's unpredictable behavior. We were prepared to call the police if necessary.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Maria, who was incredibly supportive throughout the planning process, and to Ellen, who genuinely cared about my experience. Their efforts stood out amid the turmoil caused by James.
If you need any further details or witnesses regarding this incident, please let me know. No one deserves to be treated the way James treated both me and Ellen.
Don't book here.
Our family's wedding at Five Bridge Inn could have been the most beautiful experience, with a stunning venue, great location, and wonderful staff. Unfortunately, everything was ruined by the manager, Harold "James" Messenger.
Just 12 hours before the wedding, James called the bride, ignored the promises made and contracted by the sales staff, and demanded more money, showing rude and chauvinistic behavior. He screamed and swore at my mother-in-law to the point where he had her in tears.
When we questioned the contract, he aggressively kept yelling the "new amount," even showing us another couple's contract to compare prices (talk about an invasion of privacy.) His attitude only worsened, and he threatened us repeatedly, screaming at my mother-in-law and saying we should "choke on it." He also told guests at the wedding that he "didn't give a f*** about this wedding."
James screamed and banged on the table when I simply asked if he would honor the contract and if he could clarify a couple of things. He also tried to intimidate me by standing over me - continuously creeping into my personal space despite me asking him several times to back off. He was constantly heard swearing and saying nasty things under his breath - but always while running away like a coward.
He also unjustly fired our wedding coordinator, who stood up to him and refused to let him bully us into paying more and because he took away what was promised. He should be investigated for wrongful termination. Even his own son who worked there was heard saying that his dad can be a "d**khead."
Staff confided to us that James is a "liability" and that the good reviews come from events where he isn't overseeing. There are also other reviews where James is mentioned for the same issues - intimidation, price gouging, and just generally being an awful human being.
To top it off, he seemed impaired and insisted we pay in cash, while double-charging us for multiple items.
It's an absolute shame as most of the staff was wonderful, the sales team was wonderful, but he blew this all up within a 1/2 a day before the wedding. He completely overcasted their efforts and he should be ashamed of himself.
Please, for your own sake, avoid this place. James's unprofessional behavior will ruin your wedding day, as it did ours. Don't fall for the properties charm - you will regret it if you have to deal with him.
Our August wedding in the Innkeeper barn was a dream. This venue is BEAUTIFUL! From getting ready all the way to the after-party, this place had it all. One of the biggest pros for us was that it is pet-friendly!! We couldn't have imagined our day without our furbaby. I highly recommend Five Bridge Inn and especially their Innkeeper barn.
We recently had our wedding at the Five Bridge Inn Retreat Barn, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From the moment we arrived until the end of the night, the FBI team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for both us and our guests. The staff was professional, attentive, and incredibly kind—making our big day even more magical than we could have imagined.
The venue itself was stunning, especially for a fall wedding—it was everything we envisioned and more! We had the pleasure of working with two fantastic wedding coordinators: Ellen, who guided us through the planning process in the months leading up, and Denise, who ensured our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch.
Some standout perks included the cozy cottage house for getting ready in the morning/afternoon, the after-party option (we highly recommend the Whiskey Kitchen pizzas!), and their decoration shed, which allowed us to save a little $ instead of having to purchase candles, greenery, and more. These thoughtful touches made the value feel well worth it.
Thank you, Five Bridge Inn, for making our wedding day truly unforgettable!
My husband and I got married at the FBI on 09/20/2024. We fell in love with the Retreat Barn from the very start. We had a rainy weekend in September, but our rain plan was nothing short of perfect. Denise was absolutely incredible - from meeting her months ago to the actual wedding day, Denise was the backbone to our wedding day being so successful. She was great, professional and so attentive - she really made the day smooth and special. Denise, we love you!
There’s not enough positive words- beautiful location, dedicated staff, professional, easy to work with- I could go on and on. Booking this venue connected us to so many amazing people and vendors who now feel like family. The Messenger family members are kind, hard working, genuine people, as are the staff that work for them. Our wedding guests raved over the location and venue, saying it was unique and beautiful time and time again. Our wedding at Five Bridge was beyond amazing!
My husband and I got married at Five Bridge Inn on 5/24/24 and it was the most amazing venue! We truly wouldn’t have wanted our wedding anywhere else! The Staff were so accommodating and kind. Sonya was our wedding coordinator and she killed it! Thank you so much for making my special day so wonderful!
Our wedding was 6/21/24 at the Retreat Barn at Five Bridge Inn. It was AMAZING! From the venue, to the staff and the grounds were all spectacular! Denise was my day of coordinator and she was FABULOUS to work with. We loved the accommodations that are included with our package. Our guest couldn’t stop raving about how great the venue was! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!
Our wedding on 5/27/24 at the Five Bridge Inn was an absolute dream. The property is absolutely beautiful, our guests are still talking about how amazing the venue was. The staff is so friendly and personable.
My husband and I had our wedding here at Five Bridge Inn in May of 2024 and it was AMAZING! Our favorite part was Denise, our wedding coordinator for the Retreat Barn. She was so organized, communicative, and supportive. She also answered all of my questions during my year long engagement and she also took pictures on the day of as well as managed all the bells and whistles of the day. I have never met a wedding coordinator as amazing as Denise. She truly made our experience at Five Bridge Inn the best experience we could have had!
We had our wedding on 4/14/24 and the staff were excellent. The newly built Innkeeper barn is a modern farmhouse and the perfect location to hold a more rustic-modern themed wedding.
Five bridge inn was perfect for our rustic wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Ellen who was an amazing coordinator. The rustic barn was cozy and lovely to fit 70 people comfortably. Would recommend anyone for their wedding or even an event!
Five Bridge Inn is the best wedding venue option. From being able to get ready onsite to being able to stay onsite until midnight with your guest for an after party, Five Bridge Inn has everything you need to have the most magical wedding!
Our wedding was in the InnKeeper Barn and was absolutely stunning. All of our guests could not help but talk about the property and how wonderful it was.
Even in the down pouring rain Five Bridge Inn was able to turn things around and accommodate all of our needs. The property has the rain plan for you releasing stress from an already stressful day itself!
Sonya, the onsite venue coordinator and all the staff were amazing to work with. Sonya was extremely responsive throughout the planning process and did everything she could on our special day to make it perfect even in a torrential down pour.
The Inn was so nice to stay in and the weekend wrapped up with the best breakfast.
Our wedding was perfect and if you’re looking for a venue definitely check out Five Bridge Inn for a tour!
Five Bridge Inn was a better venue than we could have ever asked for. From the package to the staff to the grounds - everything was top notch! We got married in the retreat barn and everyone was commenting on how amazing the barn was. Aside from the actual ceremony venue, the getting ready area was amazing!! There was so much room to hangout, multiple salon mirrors/chairs, and a full kitchen. This was a huge perk!! Staying at the Inn overnight was also amazing! The rooms were cozy and the breakfast was so nice. It ended up raining on our wedding day, but there were so many covered areas for pictures and the Plan B ceremony area (inside the barn) was just as incredible. All in all I am soooooooo happy we found this place for our wedding! If you are considering this venue I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
"Five Bridge Inn was the venue of our dreams, literally no other we toured matched up. It comes with SO much. Our package included: 4 inn rooms, which includes a beautiful honeymoon suite with ensuite bathroom; a wedding coordinator to help in both the lead-up and running the day; a full get-ready space in the basement with both a men's & women's side which we got access to as early as 7AM; access to tennis court, basketball courts, swiming pool, playground; alpacas, goats, ducks, etc. on site that you can look at or take photos with; full use of an entire 2 shed's worth of decorations left over from other weddings (about a 1/3 of our decor was borrowed but we honestly could've decorated using soley borrowed items if we weren't a bit picky for the color scheme/aesethic); numerous photo locations; a continental breakfast the next day. (Disclaimer: The packages are now somewhat different with completed construction of the Innkeeper Barn).
As an aside, our coordinator was Ellen Dumont & she was an absolute SUPER STAR. She was helpful in the lead-up to our big day & scheduled a few different meetings with us. But it was on our actual wedding day where she shined brightest. While we were getting ready, Ellen was running around, making sure we had everything we needed & offering her help. She would drive me around the property as needed, helped to grab decorations, made super helpful suggestions (i.e., had 2 tableclothes for the sweetheart table/backdrop & I had just accepted their wrinkly nature but she swooped in to suggest ironing one & steamed the other herself). Once the actual wedding started, Ellen went above & beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience (she even went so far as packing us to-go boxes of our meals & favorite desserts before they were gone). Ellen was also just a full on delight to work with. She was so genuinely happy for us & always in a positive, upbeat mood. Even when something went slightly off the rails - she'd swoop in quickly, get it resolved, then turn the smile back on. I can't imagine our day would've gone nearly as well or smoothly if not for Ellen running the show.
But, back to the venue itself... The beautiful rustic barn is unlike any other barn wedding venue. The ceremony area is very woodsy & easliy dressed up with very little. The cocktail area is an area outside the barn with a bunch of tables and a cute little space for the ourdoor bar and a photo area on the way there. The inside of the barn is beautifully rustic with antique farms tables and a farm decor hung on the walls.
Five Bridge Inn not only is a gorgeous venue, but they also have soooo many options above & beyond the standard venue. It was so fantastic that 2 different people from our wedding party were talking about maybe hosting a wedding there/suggesting it to a family member. I would recommend Five Bridge Inn to any couple looking for a venue, whether a small, intimate, rustic wedding (The Retreat Barn) or a large, elegant/elevated wedding (The Innkeeper Barn)."
We had the most beautiful wedding thanks to Five Bridge Inn and their staff! My husband and I wanted a rustic, woodsy feel to our wedding and their Retreat Barn was the absolute perfect match for that. From the first look and formal pictures on their gravel path, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and barn reception, everything about this venue fit that vision perfectly! This venue is simply STUNNING. Anita in the sales office always answered any questions I had promptly and professionally, she was great! Denise, our day-of coordinator was just SO fantastic! From the first meeting we had with her, leading up to the day of the wedding, she was always there to make me feel comfortable and calm. It rained right before our ceremony and Denise was out their with towels wiping down the benches before my guests arrived. Definitely not something you would say is "her job", but she went above and beyond to make our wedding day special and run smoothly. We are so happy we chose Five Bridge Inn and would chose them again in a heartbeat, as well as recommend them to anyone celebrating an event!
Like most newly engaged couples, to find the perfect venue seems like for daunting task. With so many places, how can you choose the perfect spot to start your new chapter as Husband and Wife.
If your that couple, look no further than Five Bridge Inn (FBI). My (now) Husband and I immediately fell in love with the venue! From the manicured grounds, the cozy inn, breath taking views and the intimate barn- we knew we found our ‘I, do’ location.
We had approximately 100 guests for our Wedding this past November (2022). The ceremony itself was held outside (along with the cocktail hour), and the remainder of the reception was held in the barn. Hosting an outdoor ceremony at the end of hurricane/early winter season can be an extremely uneasy feeling. This was one of my main concerns when we were searching for a venue. You can plan everything to a ‘T’, minus the weather. I expressed my concerns to my coordinator and she instantly made me feel at ease, saying ‘not to worry’. Boy was she right! Unfavorable weather was no challenge for FBI, they have a full proof weather back up plan that doesn’t have you spend any extra $$- not all venues can say that. Not to mention, their team onsite is top notch! Between Ellen, Ann, Anita, James, and Jay our wedding day was beyond PERFECT!
Huge shoutout to Ellen our day of coordinator, she made all of our visions come to life. Not only did she oversee all day of details, she strived to ensure any concern I had or any hiccup that occurred during the day was handled swift and efficiently. She was the one that made the day so seamless!
In addition to Ellen...Ann is a doll! She welcomed us into the Inn with open arms. One of my favorite elements was being able to get ready at the inn the day of and stay there the evening before/after the wedding. Not having to shuffle place to place helped ease the nerves and tensions as we prepared for the big day.
There are not enough words I could use to describe the service FBI offers to not only their Bride, Groom, and Wedding party….but the guests too! We had dozens of guests coming up to us during the night stating how amazing the day has been and that our wedding was one of the best! It is a huge relief to know you are in good hands when hosting one of the largest events of your life. I fully recommend this venue to any couple who is looking to have the utmost spectacular day!
My wedding was absolutely AMAZING! I could not have picked a more perfect/stunning venue. Had my Nov. 20 wedding in "the barn" which was decorated beautifully that it wasn't a barn at all! it was comfortable rustic chic! The food was amazing- my coordinator Ellen D. was crazy organized and had EVERYTHING under control. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day. The Inn was SO GORGEOUS. I was married on Nov 20 and I am still on cloud 9. I didn't want the day to end. Thank you to all at Five Bridge- recommend it to all brides- although I preferred the smaller venue int he barn- the outdoor space /new space is so beautiful as well... loved the fact that we were able to have the barn after the reception for the after party!!! one of the amazing perks of this venue.
Absolutely amazing venue, no problems all day!!! Everyone was so helpful. We even had breakfast in the inn the next morning it was TO DIE FOR!!!! Overall just a fantastic establishment
My husband and I got married in the barn at Five Bridge Inn (FBI) on 11/5/22 and it was perfect! We had about 90 guests in the barn which felt intimate yet still like a big party. Sonya and the whole FBI crew were incredible from the start of the planning process to our departure the morning after our wedding. The team was always responsive to emails, the grounds Inn and barn are all so beautifully maintained, and the decoration shed of wedding decor to be borrowed and re-used was sooo helpful. Five Bridge Inn's connections to really lovely local vendors (Lovely Occasions, 77 Petals Florist, Ralph's catering, etc.) all of them were so wonderful and helped our day run smoothly. I'd highlyyy recommend FBI to anyone.
The Five Bridge Inn was the perfect venue for my September 2022 wedding of about 115 people. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for something outside of the city (but easily accessible to Boston and Providence - our out of town guests loved exploring both during the wedding weekend) and excited to be creative in designing their wedding experience!
Having both the bride and groom’s parties be able to get ready onsite in their own separate spaces was incredibly convenient - both suites were exactly what we needed to relax and get ready for the day! We also loved that there were so many options for first look and photo locations so we could play around and get the best shots to represent us. Our photographer was recommended by the Five Bridge Inn - the property is large, so it was great to have a photographer who was familiar with where to go. I’d recommend this to others as well!
We had our ceremony at the birch arbor and our reception in the tent. There was more than enough space for everybody to drink, eat, dance, and hang out. The cocktail hour patio was gorgeous and perfect for the amount of people we had. Folks could hang out by the pool, sit by the bar, or visit the animals. We did an afterparty at the fire pit as well and opted to bring our own snacks and drinks for the afterparty, and everybody had a great time. The venue had tons of alternate locations and rain plans, so we knew we were covered (literally) in the event of anything less than an earthquake. This helped ease a lot of anxiety in the planning process.
Being able to stay onsite and have breakfast provided to us the next morning was a HUGE perk. It honestly made everything so easy!
We also got drinks for cocktail hour and the reception through the Inn’s Five Star bartending service and were super impressed with the quality and selection for the price we paid. Bartenders were friendly, professional, and helped keep the party going.
We loved working with Sonya, James, Chippy, and the whole Five Bridge Inn team for our wedding and highly recommend them!
We got married on 10/2/22 at Five Bridge Inn at the Barn location, and it was the absolute BEST! I worked at many, many wedding venues in RI and MA as a wedding coordinator for years, and FBI was always my favorite venue. When we got engaged, my fiance fell in love with it too. The Barn had the absolutely perfect cozy, woodsy vibe that we were going for. Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful and different the venue was. I could go on and on about all of the bonuses that make this venue such a good value - from the salon area where all of the ladies got our hair & makeup done, to the new “man cave” where the guys could hang out, the STUNNING grounds with endless photo ops (with llamas!), the option to have a fire pit after-party until 1 am (we opted for the wood-fired pizza and HOLY MOLY it was good!!), and the fact that our family and wedding party were all able to sleep there that night, AND we got an incredible breakfast the next morning. Every single staff member was helpful and went above and beyond. Special shout-out to Denise who was our contact and day-of coordinator. She was super responsive, SO helpful during planning, and she literally felt like family on the day of our wedding. She kept the whole day running on time and set up my decor items just like I had envisioned. I could go on and on and on - Five Bridge Inn is the best! Wish we could get married all over again!!
Thank you FBI for making our special day one that will never be forgotten. Ellen was wonderful, she made our day go by smoothly and was amazing to work with. We didn’t want the night to end. The after party and pizza - AMAZING !! So glad we did that option as it did not disappoint !
We hope to have a one year anniversary celebration back at the barn !!
Five Bridge Inn was more than we could have ever asked for as a wedding venue! We were fortunate enough to have our rehearsal and welcome party at the Barn the night before our tent wedding. The Barn was the perfect spot to share moments with our loved ones at our rehearsal dinner and it was a beautiful night under the stars to welcome our guests afterwards. I was able to spend the night at the Inn with my family and friends and it was so exciting to wake up at my venue the morning of our wedding! We got married at the birch arbor and danced the night away in the beautiful tent!
It was truly the perfect event, and we could not have been more appreciative of the venue! Our wedding coordinator, Ellen, was so responsive and did more than we could have asked for to ensure our day went off without a hitch! We were also able to go to the venue a few times prior to, which relieved so much of my stress leading up to the day. The Bernie Sanders closet is a decor brides dream; we found fans there the day of that helped our guests stay somewhat cooler during our 90-degree ceremony. Overall, the communication, love, and support were unmatched at Five Bridge. We are so happy to have chosen it for our special day!
AMAZING venue. OUTSTANDING people. There aren’t enough good things for me to say about have our May 7, 2022 wedding at Five Bridge. The property is STUNNING. We got married at the barn and had our ceremony outside of the barn. Anne, James, and the team at Five Bridge made everything easy and amazing for our day. My bridesmaids and I got to the venue early on the morning of the wedding to use the hair and makeup suite to get ready. This made the day simple and smooth. The groomsman and my husband used a different suite to get ready on the morning of the wedding. They hung out, played poker, and got dressed on the property. This made the morning relaxed and fun. Every angle at the venue gave us fantastic pictures. Our reception was in the Barn on Five Bridge Inns and it was the perfect combination of both my husband and my personality. From the things hanging on the walls to the comfortable and fun outdoor firepit, it was truely amazing and a one of a kind experience that we would recommend to anyone looking to have their marriage ceremony there!
We fell in love with this venue straight away! The stay in the Inn was wonderful for us and our families and we got so many compliments the day of for finding this gem of a venue. We had our ceremony at their birch arbor, the reception at the tent, and the rehearsal dinner in the barn the night before. Anne and James were phenomenal and we wanted for nothing our entire stay/wedding. Highly -highly- recommend this venue.
We had our wedding at this venue on June 4, 2022. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Everyone raved about how beautiful and serene the location was. The fact that we had an after party by the fire and we’re able to sleep in the inn following the reception was amazing for me and my husband as well as the bridal party. Also the wedding coordinator that they assigned to us Ellen, was super kind and helpful . I highly recommend this venue to anyone. Our cousin recently got engaged and loved our wedding so much they’re looking into getting married here as well .
Their "barn" was perfect for our cozy March vibes, but the venue also has lots of beautiful spaces for more "formal" events. The staff was amazingly accommodating/flexible (if a little slow at responding to emails), even letting us keep our original deposit despite postponing by a year because of covid. Possibly the best part was that everything was on site: plenty of space to get ready in the morning, amazing grounds for photos, afterparty at one of the bonfire pits, and we stayed in the inn on-site, meaning that we didn't have to worry about transit at all. The off-season deal was also a steal- it did mean that certain things were required (like using their preferred caterer), but it was a great bargain given everything that it included, and it meant that all the pieces fit seamlessly.
This was such a beautiful, accommodating, and organized venue. They really made our day so special. Would love to host something else there in the future!
My son an his wife just had their wedding in the barn. It was absolutely amazing. The grounds an the Inn are beyond beautiful. The staff is amazing an Sonya did a beyond incredible job helping organize their wedding. We also had their rehearsal dinner by the pool an that was incredible also. After having such a fun filled two days it was fantastic to end it with a relaxing couple of hours by the fire with some smores an brick oven pizza. All I can say is 5 stars for sure an you won't be disappointed at all.
My husband and I toured Five Bridge Inn right after we got engaged in 2018 with the intention to marry in 2020. As soon as we pulled down the long driveway and over the five bridges, we knew that this was where we were to be married. We met with Sonya who gave us the full tour of the Inn and grounds. We fell in love. Then Covid hit and our big day had to be pushed. I contacted James, he was incredibly supportive and accommodating in finding us a new date for 2021. Our big day happened a few weeks ago now, and between Ann continually checking in to make sure we were all set and had everything we needed, to all our vendors doing an incredible job, everything was perfect. The grounds at Five Bridge Inn are stunning. You can go from the rustic farm feeling of the barn to upscale beauty of the tent. The salon to get ready is an amazing space and gets you excited to begin your day! Then, you get up to the rooms and it is classic New England Inn vibes. We were married under the wedding pavilion next to the tent, had cocktail hour by the pool and our reception in the tent. After our long day, we were able to go change up into comfy clothes and spend the rest of the night by the bonfire with our closest friends and family. We woke the next day to a delicious spread of breakfast foods before we departed. If you are looking for a venue that has it all--this is the place! Thank you Messenger Family for your hospitality! We hope to be back in the future for other celebrations!
The Five Bridge is an amazing place to have a wedding! My son and his wife had their wedding there. I also had the rehearsal party by the pool side. The staff is incredible! Kaylee was so helpful she took all my calls had great suggestions and helped every step of the way! She physically helped me move tables and chairs. The covered area by the pool looked so beautiful for the rehearsal party.
The ceremony was under the pavilion out side of the tent. The crystal chandeliers stain glass windows, just beautiful! It felt like you were in chapel!
The tent is beautiful! The vintage tables and sweet heart looked so pretty! We decorated with gold frames and candleholders . The large dance floor is awesome!
The after party by the fire pit was amazing! Five Bridge staff makes the pizza. So good!!
The bride and groom, parents and siblings stayed at the Inn. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast together. It was a great way to end the weekend!
We are all so happy with how the wedding turned out!
I’m so happy we booked this venue! After planning our wedding for 2 years, we had to change our venue last minute due to covid. James and Ann were great to work with and made everything so easy. I’m so glad we ended up having our wedding here. Our guests can’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue is and I couldn’t agree any more. So much is included in the rental ans it’s definitely worth your money! Highly recommend
The best wedding venue in New England, hands down! I am so grateful and pleased with Ann M.'s and her family's hospitality during our stay on their beautiful property. My husband and I had our heart set on the barn for our wedding location and then, COVID hit. We had to move our ceremony and reception to the tent area. But Ann and her team did not stop working until our dream wedding came true! They were all amazing and very accommodating. Words cannot express how much I appreciate their hard work. I am so grateful. Also, my guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the property was! Plus, they supply a fire after your reception so you can keep the party going until 1 am! My family and friends had such a great time. The morning after your wedding, you and your guests staying at the inn are provided a homemade breakfast, cooked by Ann herself. It was so delicious! I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a night to remember for the rest of their lives. Thank you!!!
Five Bridge Inn was the first & only venue we looked at. We immediately knew it was the one. We were so excited to get married at the barn. Then, corona happened. We were devastated -- as was the world. Ann, James, Sonya, and the crew had our backs every step of the way. They helped us transition everything so we could have it in the tent and at the birch. James was there to listen to me cry multiple times over the phone! He never gave up the faith and they fought HARD to make sure we would have a safe and fun wedding. When the big day finally came, Ann and her family opened their arms to us and accepted us into their inn as if we were a part of their family. We have never stayed somewhere as magical! It wasn't just the "fancyness". It was the little things. The fact that there are shampoos in the showers waiting for the bride and guests.. there are snacks for you.. she COOKS for you.. you can swim..you can have YOUR DOG.. the list goes on and on. When it was time to walk down the aisle, Ann helped me fluff out my dress train and I will never forget it. At night, they lit us a huge fire and even helped organize our items! I will never forget this place & these incredible people. For the small price you get a lifetime of memories. Thank you Five Bridge for making my fairy tale come true.

Cannot say enough about the Five Bridge Inn! It was everything and more than what we dreamed of. From use of the beautiful bed and breakfast from early morning to get ready, to the wonderful, rustic grounds for the ceremony and cocktail hour, to the beautifully decorated tent reception, and the cozy bonfire that is lit at the end of the night to keep the party going! Not to mention the cute Llamas that live on site! We had an amazing wedding and an amazing day of coordinator, Sonya, who kept contact with all vendors and helped to make sure the day went perfectly! Sleeping at the inn is such a bonus and the breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start our first day as husband and wife!
Dudes killed it. Any y’all trying to tie “the knot” goood place to start
My daughter had her wedding here on August 16tb.
The Venue was AMAZING. Every guest who attended said it was the best wedding/venue they had ever been to. My daughter and her husband said it TrueBlue was their “Fairy Tale Wedding”
Ann Messenger was so friendly, and treated us all like her own family.
Our wedding coordinator was Sonya Heroux. As the mother of the bride I could have never done this without her. She was there every step of the way. The day of the wedding she made all of things my daughter wanted come to life in a way that was indescribable. She took all the stress of of everyone and did such an amazing job. If you are planning a wedding and need a venue I would highly recommend The Five Bridge Inn as well as Sonya for your coordinator.
Thank you so much to everyone there for making this the very best day for my baby girl❤️
Where do I even begin? My partner and I got married here in August 2019, and we couldn't be happier. We were loved, cherished, and cared for as if we were family; that's the way you are treated at this incredible family-run business. From the first visit, to the phone calls, the text messages, the multiple site-visits, Ann Messenger, James, Jay, Mike, Adrianna, Sonya, and so many others cared for us during our weekend. The value of this experience is unparalleled. First, this venue is fantastic because for an INSANELY LOW PRICE, you have access to the grounds for your rehearsal dinner and the staff is available to talk you through your ceremony. Then, before your wedding, you have the opportunity to get ready in the BYOB "hair and make-up suite" all day. Our ceremony was at 4:00, and after getting ready, Ann and her staff helped us find a place for our first look. The cocktail hour went off without a hitch, thanks to her experienced staff and the magical Ralph's catering team (see our review for them!). Ann and her team were there every step of the way- even down to helping us open the doors for our surprise introduction! As our reception was wrapping up, the staff lit us a bonfire for the after party and we were able to hang out with 50+ of our closest friends and guests. THIS IS NOT a venue that is timed to only give you the traditional "five hours." This is a celebration. Around 1:00 am, we put out the fire and (INCLUDED) in our small fee was gorgeous sleeping accommodations for 14 people in Five Bridge Inn!!! The next morning Ann cooked us a delicious brunch with homemade quiche with eggs laid on her farm! It doesn't get much more farm to table than that (And have you seen the llama's and alpaca's she has?). To top everything off, our 14 guests got to spend the day lounging by her pool as we unwound from an amazing evening and wedding the night before!
In addition to all of this, there were an amazing number of small touches that blew us out of the water:
* We were worried about transporting some older family members, so Ann had a golf cart standing by to transport them if needed.
* The staff literally moved tables for us at the last minute to accommodate extra picture frames on our memory table.
* Ann stopped us throughout the day to encourage us to eat and drink and she brought us little snacks after the ceremony.
* The couple from the wedding before us left flowers and greenery behind. Ann made sure to save it, text us pictures and helped us build beautiful centerpieces with the extras to help us save on costs. Additionally Ann has a shed FULL of wedding decorations that other couples have left behind and she kept thinking of little extras for us including: putting out an "unplugged" wedding sign, extra tissues, bug spray, sunscreen, table numbers, arches, easels, card boxes, tool, the list goes on and on!!!
* As members of the LGBTQ community, and with lots of queer guests, this venue raised us up with rainbow joy, putting out rainbow and trans flags, and letting us create non-gendered bathrooms.
* We were worried it might rain and with such a huge party, it was important to us that a totally outdoor venue would have a great rain plan. While we didn't get a single drop of rain, Ann had hundreds of umbrellas lined up and staff ready to go!
Is there anything else to say? I could go on and on! Comment on this post if you want more details and I'm happy to PM you!
I personally think Five Bridge Inn is the best wedding venue ever. My wife and I had our wedding here two weeks ago today and we are still in awe over how it went. This was the very first and only venue we looked at. When I asked for a tour over email, Ann the owner, got back to me immediately. Within two minutes of our tour, my wife and I knew this was the place for us. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and meticulous. A classic New England landscape. Between the massive tent, barn, Inn, covered cocktail hour area, herb garden, multiple ceremony sites, ALPACAS, Five Bridge Inn has EVERYTHING you need. The staff was so accommodating. Ann said we could use whatever vendors we want, but offered the vendors they have worked with in the past. We went with their preferred caterer, Ralph's Catering, which was outstanding. Our day-of coordinator, Sonya, works out of Five Bridge and was the absolute best. During the whole day, she had everything under control and kept us on schedule throughout. We also had our rehearsal dinner in the barn and it was fantastic.
I could go on and on about how great this place is, but you get the point. All of our guests raved about how great of a venue it is, and they are right. It is the best. I wish we could restart the wedding over. It was the most fun possible and I would recommend it over and over and no place else. Book your wedding here!
Five Bridge Inn was the PERFECT spot for our wedding! I knew once I saw the venue, it was the one!
From the planning process and multiple visits to the venue at our request, the breathtaking ceremony on the grounds, the beautiful tent reception (decorated by Event Designs By Lisa), the campfire/brick oven pizza party, to the homemade breakfast served the next morning- this venue went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Having the grounds for 24 hours is one of many unique features that set this venue out from all others. Rain or shine, this beautifully developed venue will keep you and your guest comfortable and happy (many other venues we looked at didn't have good alternatives for poor weather conditions). I would also recommend working with wedding coordinator Sonya, she is highly talented at what she does! Lastly, another one of my favorite features here are the adorable llamas (and doggo Chippy)! We have gotten so many compliments from our guests stating that this was one of the best weddings they have been too! Thank you Ann and everyone at Five Bridge Inn- you all helped make our wedding day we will never forget!
I can’t say enough about how accoadating everyone was. James and Sonya’s attention to the smallest details made this wedding MAGICAL!
The Five Bridge in was the perfect location for a 24 hour Wedding experience. We were given the option to also have the rehearsal dinner at their new rustic barn, which was a beautiful and relaxed evening and just the beginning of an amazing wedding day to follow. The grounds are so well cared for and have so many options for decorating and alternative quiet seating for guests during the reception. The wedding party and guests enjoyed the extended celebration of having a fire pit for roasting smore's and a delicious breakfast the following morning. The staff were so very personal and accommodating from the moment we first looked at the site until we packed up to leave the day after the wedding. It was truly worth the extra cost for a 24 hour Inn experience and I would highly recommend considering this venue.
We cannot recommend this venue enough! All of the staff there are beyond helpful and accommodating and absolutely willing to make your experience unique. Every time I spoke to any of them before wedding day, I felt so much better stress-wise. They are there every step of the way, making sure that you are satisfied and helping your vendors to ensure the event is running smoothing. I can't express enough how helpful they were in relieving a lot of stress! We were married on a Friday, so we had the option of booking to stay Thursday night as well for rehearsal dinner. This was beyond helpful and made the day-of so much less hectic. We had already begun setting up, and all of our decor, outfits, etc. were already there. They let us use their grill and other amenities for the dinner, and we followed it with a bonfire. A perfect way to de-stress the night before your big day! They are pet friendly, so our dog also got (almost) free-range of the entire property.. she was thrilled!! There are no words to describe our experience here, and will continue to recommend it again and again.
I don’t even know where to start. Five Bridge Inn was the best venue a bride could ask for. The atmosphere is laid back, beautiful, and relaxing. Ann, the owner of the property, is so wonderful to work with. Questions via email or phone were always answered promptly. The grounds and venue were pristine. We also loved that there was no curfew so we were able to stay up around the fire late into the night. There is also room for you and some of your guests to stay at the inn overnight and enjoy breakfast in the morning. And the animals are awesome:) Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, beautiful, outdoor venue.
