I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. After a terrible previous planning experience (not this venue) and needing to change gears, my wife and I had 2 months to plan our wedding. After visiting several venues, we knew that Five Event Center and Robyn Kuechle were the right choice. Robyn was so attentive, which was a breath of fresh air from our previous experience. She was incredibly accommodating and did everything to ensure that things went smoothly, and the bride and groom were very happy (spoiler alert… we were very very happy). The beautiful brick walls and décor of the venue is a whole vibe of its own which allowed us to need minimal décor to make it fit our vision. We went with Sterling Catering which was one of the preferred caterers. The Gyro Bar and appetizers that we chose were an absolute hit. The staff and bartenders were fun and made sure everything looked and went beautifully. I am so glad we chose this venue, and if I had to go back and do things differently to begin with, I would have chose them from the start. If you are planning a wedding, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not giving them a chance. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Robyn and Team!

From our first interaction with the team at FIVE Event Center, we were impressed by their efficient, knowledgeable, and kind communication style. The venue itself is classic and chic, with a capacious layout that allowed us to create our dream wedding celebration. Robyn, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfectly executed, allowing us as a couple to truly relax and enjoy the day. The catering and venue staff were also incredibly attentive, thoughtfully lighting all the candles we had placed throughout the space to create a warm, glowing ambiance. One of the biggest advantages of hosting our wedding at FIVE Event Center was that we were able to bring in our own packaged food items for the cocktail hour, saving us a significant amount on catering costs. FIVE Event Center and their in-house catering partner, GreenMill, work together seamlessly as a well-oiled machine to deliver an exceptional experience. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day truly special.

My husband and I used FIVE Event Center as a wedding venue in September 2024. We loved the exposed brick and natural light, and the patio was a lovely lounge area for our guests. All of the staff were extremely professional, patient, and kind. My coordinator Robyn, was always happy to answer any and all of my questions. Moxy hotel is just a few blocks away, offering accommodations for out of town guests. Additionally, Cub Foods grocery store is also very close to FIVE Event Center, which made it super easy to go out and quickly grab any of those little things you may have forgotten for big events or even load up on extra snacks and beverages. I would definitely recommend FIVE for your next big event.

We loved FIVE event center!! It was beautiful, the getting ready room was awesome, and the staff was very helpful! Victoria helped with a lot of things leading up to the wedding and on the day of. It was awesome! The one thing to be aware of is that they have preferred caterers, so if you want the ability to pick anyyyy caterer this place wouldn’t be for you. But it wasn’t an issue for us!

I think that securing this venue was the best thing that could have happened to us in the process of planning our wedding. The venue itself is elegant and spacious. We had a small wedding of around 50 people, but with the help of our coordinator and the way the venue is naturally laid out, the place never felt “empty.” A bar on the top and bottom floors makes transitioning between cocktail hour and the reception seamless and was great for keeping up momentum! We absolutely adored the exposed brick of the building and the lounge downstairs, so much so that we didn’t feel the need to go outside for any pictures! The venue speaks for itself in many ways and doesn’t need that much decor because of that, which is awesome! Brides with heavy dresses will also thank the venue for the quick elevator between the floors, because we certainly used it a lot toward the end of the night! What me and my wife were happiest with is the work of the staff at FIVE! If a couple is looking for a venue who will keep their line of communications open and put your wedding needs first, this is where you want to go. The service of all of the staff, but especially our primary contact, Victoria Meersman, was ABOVE and BEYOND! Answers to our questions came quickly for being in the middle of a busy wedding season, and Victoria was kind and understanding when we had any concerns. She was even kind enough to get some fantastic behind-the-scenes pictures of us throughout the event and send them to us! We were absolutely thrilled with FIVE’s service and felt our special day was just as valued by the people working there. We can’t thank FIVE Event Center enough, and I recommend it to anybody in the Twin Cities looking for a beautiful, indoor venue with a top-notch staff.

FIVE is such a wonderful venue to host a wedding. We felt taken care of the entire day by both Robyn and Megan, who were there helping us out anytime we needed anything. The venue is absolutely beautiful on its own and we barely even added any decorations as we didn't want to take away from the overall look of it. We loved it so much.

Wow there is so much to say. We had the BEST wedding at five event center. Everything was absolute perfection and I definitely owe that all to Robyn. She was so amazing to work with. She answered my constant influx of questions at all times and she handled so many different issues and situations that came up the day of our wedding and made everything completely seamless. She made sure that everyone in our family felt comfortable and taken care of the whole day and the night before at the rehearsal time. I can't rave enough about her. She is incredible. The space itself is sooo gorgeous and perfect for the fun summery city vibe we were going for. The whole space is decorated beautifully and there is plenty of room for your guests to move around. When we first walked into five event center we knew this was the place we wanted to get married and everything about it was just as perfect as I had imagined on the actual wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here - I will be spreading the word to everyone I know. The location was perfect as well - although we had some challenges with parking we ended up doing valet and that worked perfectly. We took formal pictures at the greenway right near the venue and they turned out AMAZING. I have nothing bad to say about this venue. We will never forget our amazing wedding day here :)

Looking with the 5 Event Center was easy work. Also it was relaxing to know that I had the support that I had there. Robyn was great. She was very helpful. She was very supportive. She was very understanding. I did get a lot of complaints because there’s nowhere to park and there’s no parking lot but outside of that the space was very spacious. It was very big but upstairs downstairs everything I would highly recommend booking with the 5 Event Center.

Our wedding was at FIVE Event Center, and it was truly the best fit for us. We wanted our venue to be already aesthetically pleasing so we didn’t have to do too much to it. Our pictures look beautiful with FIVE’s interior as the canvas. Another must-have for us was, we wanted our venue to hold the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one. FIVE Event Center was a perfect for that. Robyn, their event coordinator is responsive and caring. She has a very calm and confident presence which is so appreciated when planning a wedding. Our wedding at FIVE was everything we imagined and more! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and my favorite part was it really speaks for itself, doesn’t need much added! It was important to us to have our wedding in the city. I still can’t believe how affordable FIVE is compared to other venue. Our guests and family loved it! We had 155 people and it was spacious for everyone. We truly could not have had such of a great wedding without Victoria, the venue coordinator. She was responsive and quick to answer all my questions! She went above beyond in every single aspect of the day. Anyone would be so lucky to have her there for their special day!

We had such an amazing experience with FIVE Event Center for our wedding. The venue is beautiful and has so much character and was the perfect size for our guest count (125) - spacious enough not to feel crowded but still intimate and inviting. My husband and I got married and had our reception here last month. Everything was so great! Victoria was very helpful in asking how we wanted the space set up, walking us through what the day would look like, and helping us have a very smooth wedding experience! Victoria was professional, had clear and timely communication, and was very helpful in making sure things were set up correctly. She even took some photos and videos of our day and sent them to us! I would highly recommend this space for your wedding and/or reception! The brick walls and wood floors are beautiful and the downstairs bar area is perfect for cocktail hour (and chic looking wedding photos). We had a lot of guests compliment the beauty of the space. 10/10 would recommend FIVE Event Center and their team!

We hosted a client appreciation event at the FIVE Event Center. It was a lovely venue! We enjoyed having two levels for our event - the main floor for happy hour & appetizers and the upstairs for the dinner and entertainment. Victoria was lovely to work with and helped us make the event run smoothly. We chose to work with Kafe 421 and their food was delicious. They were affordable & fit many dietary needs - enjoyed by all! Would absolutely recommend any event here!

Fantastic choice. The staff (Olivia in particular) are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond. Facility is well maintained and really cool looking. It’s a great space, competitive on it’s pricing and we had 0 issues. The only concerns were parking (which didn’t end up being that big of a deal, plenty of it near by) and the AV system is somewhat old. But, we had zero audio issues. Very very happy with this choice for our wedding.

FIVE was the perfect spot for our wedding! My husband and I had our ceremony off-site at my church and hosted cocktail hour and the reception at FIVE. Parking wasn't a problem for any of our guests and the photos were all so beautiful with FIVE as the background. I loved the newly renovated amenities, long staircase, and patio area. My husband and I chose FIVE Event Center for our wedding this past September '22. We absolutely loved the venue, and Olivia helped us through the whole process. She was a great event manager. The venue was a perfect size and we loved the outdoor patio. I'd highly recommend FIVE. We used a valet service to help with parking in Uptown Minneapolis and found that to be very helpful, too.

We had our wedding reception here on August 13, 2022. It was a great experience. Our event coordinator - Olivia and the staff are so helpful and amazing, even our guests feel the same way. The decoration and atmosphere here are very luxurious and cozy. They have remodeled private hospitality suites and downstairs space. You can easily use every corner of the venue to have beautiful photos for your event. Since we only hold our wedding reception here, it's sad that we can not make full use of their space of the venue. They also have wifi at FIVE, but we do not think it not strong enough to stream your event. With our limited wedding budget, their price is reasonable. So far, we don't have any complaints or disappointments about the FIVE Event Center. We will think about them first if we have any other event. We highly recommend this awesome venue.

Our experience at FIVE was great from start to finish. Olivia was super helpful in answering our MANY questions, putting our minds at ease about logistics during our final walk through. On the day of, Amelia did a fantastic job of ensuring everything was running smoothly, vendors had what they needed and even helping with decorations. The wedding itself was everything we hoped for - having the ceremony and party in one place made things easy and the space didn't need much decoration to look beautiful. We'd highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a modern, city-vibe wedding.

We recently got married at FIVE Event Center, and had a great experience! The venue is beautiful and the perfect size for our guests (130). The recent remodel made the downstairs even better with great lounging areas and getting ready rooms. It's in a fun area of Minneapolis, which was awesome for our out of town guests. The best part of our experience was all the help Olivia, the venue manager, gave us. She was always positive and helpful and answered so many questions. She stayed late before our wedding to show the space to our parents and helped us with so many logistics! We would absolutely recommend this venue.

FIVE Event Center was the perfect venue for our spring wedding! The new hospitality rooms + downstairs bar renovation were dreamy additions to the already beautiful space. We loved being in the bustling Uptown area and being within walking distance of our hotel accommodation. Olivia & Megan were friendly, flexible, accommodating, and willing to make our day perfectly ours! We cannot recommend FIVE Event Center enough.

Our wedding at FIVE was absolutely incredible! We toured FIVE while looking for a wedding venue, and it was love at first sight. We loved the exposed brick and hardwood floors on the upper floor. The venue also has a lower level which was completely renovated in March 2022, which is perfect for a cocktail hour while the room is flipped upstairs after the ceremony. The brand new bridal and groom suites are great, and there is a nice outdoor space to hang out in as well. Olivia was our event coordinator throughout our wedding planning process and she was great! She answered any questions we had promptly and thoroughly. She made sure all of the details were addressed at our final walkthrough meeting. She was on-site for the wedding day itself, and went above and beyond with her service by providing assistance with ceremony rehearsal and signaling our wedding party during the ceremony processional. FIVE has several preferred vendors/caterers who are very familiar with the space, making for a smooth and stress-free wedding experience. I highly recommend considering FIVE Event Center for your wedding ceremony and reception, I'm confident you'll love it as much as we did!

FiveEvent and Olivia were amazing! They were super accommodating with our date change due to COVID. Olivia was super responsive to all of our emails and questions. She assisted us with a bunch of the nitty gritty day of details that we didn't plan out or think through. Day of she helped out to make sure cocktail hour, speeches and dinner went off without a hitch. FiveEvent itself is a beautiful location and has all the pieces for a happening reception and ceremony!

FIVE Event Center was phenomenal along every step of the way. Including a re-schedule because of COVID, the staff was professional and communicated with us through our planning and even following the event. We held our ceremony and reception at FIVE and Olivia was soo helpful answering questions and helping us with suggestions and adjustments. The event coordinator and staff were super professional and kind and made for a great experience for us and our guests. Oh, and the place is beautiful, we would definitely suggest FIVE for any event and would love to be there again.

We held our reception at FIVE. It was AMAZING. First of all the space is stunning. So many guests said they loved the feel and look of the space. It was already so beautiful so we didn't need to do much decorating. Working with the staff was a breeze. We had to reschedule everything last year due to Covid and they were so kind and helpful through the whole process. They made sure every detail was taken care of and communicated with me consistently and clearly. All the staff day of were fun and helpful. I highly recommend going with FIVE for your venue space.

We held our ceremony and reception at FIVE and it was perfect in every imaginable way. Leading up to the day, the team at FIVE was very helpful and responsive to my wife and I's (numerous) questions, especially as they navigated the ever-changing COVID restrictions. If we had a question, concern, or new request, we knew we could reach out and get an answer within a few hours! As for the ceremony and reception, we have nothing but glowing praise for FIVE. It's an intimate, elegant, and charming venue. Our wedding was under 100 people total, which was perfect for the space. The upstairs-downstairs split provided seamless transitions between each event, while allowing your guests to mingle unbothered. Our event manager was there for every part of the ceremony and very helpful in leading us through a hectic day. If you're looking for an intimate venue in the city, FIVE is a great option.

I recently had my Bridal Shower at FIVE Event Center, and when I say it was perfect it was PERFECT. The venue was beautiful, the food catering options where great and affordable, the hospitality was above and beyond. I really appreciated working with Olivia, she ensured everything went smooth oh and it didn’t matter what time it would be she’s responds quickly to any questions or updates you request! The staff was present and hands on as well. I’m thankful for this EVENT center and I would definitely recommend this place.

Let me start off by saying that FIVE Event Center is the only venue that my now husband and I needed to visit during our search for a venue. Once we saw FIVE in person, we knew that it was where we wanted to host our wedding! FIVE's website is very user friendly and answered nearly every question one may have while searching for a venue; seriously the tour we took was just a formality to solidify our decision to book. Every staff member I encountered (in person, over the phone, and via email) during our 13 month planning process was so kind and helpful. On our wedding day, the day of coordinator was on top of every detail and calm under pressure, which was so appreciated as a stressed out bride. The venue itself is beautiful, even with very minimal decor. The staircase (such a great blank canvas for personalization) and exposed brick were huge selling factors for us. FIVE also has a great list of preferred vendors that they work with (many that we chose from), which was very helpful to have during the planning process. Being able to host our ceremony and reception in one spot was fantastic and the full buyout of the space, plus getting married on a Sunday was extremely cost effective! The history of the space and the location were huge selling factors for my husband and I. Overall, FIVE exceeded our expectations and was one of the easiest decisions we made for our wedding! Choosing FIVE for our wedding day 100% set the tone for the intimate celebration that we wanted to have after our very long engagement and I would recommend FIVE over and over again!

We knew FIVE was the venue for us as soon as we walked in for our tour. The space was absolutely beautiful with the exposed brick and ability to have both our ceremony and reception in one location. We were able to bring in our own dessert for no extra charge and went through FIVE for the bar. They even reimbursed us for unopened kegs. We chose Green Mill from their preferred catering and did a buffet style dinner, food was great! We chose the Moxy from their lists of hotels since it was only a 5 minute walk from the venue. There is a small parking lot but the majority of guests parked at the hotel and walked over so it worked perfectly. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our date twice and the staff were fairly accommodating given the situation. Overall we would choose FIVE over and over again!

Five was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! We loved the ease of having everything in one location and the setting is gorgeous. We received so many compliments on our cool venue. Our original wedding was postponed due to COVID and the FIVE staff were responsive and helpful in navigating more than one change of plans. We really appreciated the patience and attention of the staff again as our event grew near in our last minute scramble to review and confirm details from our original plan. We had a great experience at Five and would highly recommend!

We recently held our ceremony and reception at Five Event Center and would recommend this space to anyone. It was perfect for our many out of town guests to have the convenience of flipping the upstairs space while happy hour is held downstairs. Not to mention the team here at Five, we had to postpone due to covid and our 2 years of planning questions were always answered by the team with a can do attitude. They went above and beyond to ensure the little details (and the big ones) were perfect for us. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I just recently held both our wedding ceremony and reception at FIVE Event Center. We absolutely loved everything that FIVE offered. We held our ceremony and reception on a Sunday morning and we loved the gorgeous lighting in their event space. We brought in floral, but did not need much because the event space is already beautiful. We feel so lucky to have worked with Taylor, the most organized, professional, and calming event coordinator. As an anxious bride, I felt completely calm leading up to the wedding and the day of because I knew Taylor had everything in control. I would highly recommend celebrating your special day at FIVE Event Center! Great location, accommodations, and staff. 11/10 rating in our books!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at FIVE Event Center. We worked with Taylor who was amazing, leading up to the wedding she was super helpful, she responded to us quickly, she answered all of our questions, and meetings with her were beneficial. On the actual wedding day, I didn't worry about a thing, Taylor had everything under control and worked well with our day of coordinator. My husband and I held our ceremony and reception at FIVE this October and everything was perfect! One of our favorite things about the actual venue is the floor plan. The upstairs and downstairs is perfect for a ceremony/reception flip, and the upstairs was very inviting for guests to be able to be close to all the action (head table, dancing, bar area) no matter the placement. We also loved the aesthetics of the venue itself. You can add as much or as little of your own decor, and it looks amazing no matter what. Finally, we really enjoyed working with Taylor and the rest of the staff. They were flexible throughout the whole process and very helpful with any questions that came up along the way!

The Five Event Center was the venue of my dreams, the brick walls, wood flooring, and dramatic stairway were exactly what I was looking for, in my romantic wedding dreams. Due to covid, I was thrown a ton of curvevballs, including changing my wedding date, but throughout the whole process the team at The Five were accommodating, professional, and compassionate to help me to create and have the dream wedding I pictured. I got so many compliments on how the multi-level venue was beautiful, the staff was professional and everyone felt safe. Our wedding was on November 1st 2019. The FIVE event center was a beautiful, perfect spot for our wedding. I planned the wedding from out of town, so the staff was really good at emailing and calling. Their website has great recommendations for other vendors they work with which I would highly recommend. Five event center was the best place to hold not only our ceremony but also our reception. They were able to accommodate our 150 guest count no problem. We heard many compliments about the friendliness of the bar tenders and their attention to detail. I will also say they were great at helping set up and take down our tables, chairs, and clean up. When we started planning our wedding we were paired with Shauna and she was amazing to work with. She was prompt at answering all our emails and phone calls and made sure to help us in anyway. Unfortunately half way through she had left and we were introduced to Sarah. We did not feel as comfortable with the new coordinator as she was not the greatest at returning any of our phone calls, told us we could have the venue for rehearsal for a longer period than we actually were able to, also told us we could bring food for the rehearsal then we couldn't and the week of our wedding gave us a scare in telling us all of Bryant street was going to be shut down. It would have been a lot easier if she would have just let us know she did not know the answer to our questions and get back to us as soon as she did. Minus the lack of customer service we received with that I would do it all over again there as it made my wedding visions come true!

We had both our ceremony & reception at FIVE Event Center and everything went great from start to finish. We were able to visit the space multiple times leading up to the event, which made decorating easier and gave our photographer a chance to scope out the lighting at the event center. The brick walls and the bars were perfect for photos. Sarah at FIVE is awesome. She thought through all of the details with us and was always super quick to respond to our many questions. She was accommodating and met our needs whenever we needed anything. She gave great advice leading up to the day and on the day of, she made sure that the event ran smoothly, which it did. The other staff at FIVE were also great. The bartenders & closing staff helped us out towards the end of the night and kept great attitudes throughout the evening. We added a valet service to help guests with parking being that it's in Uptown Minneapolis and they did a good job too. Overall I would recommend getting married here - the staff are great, the space is beautiful (and less pricey than other Uptown venues), and our guests loved it.
