Flamingo Las Vegas

Ours was a very small wedding. We were pleased with the entire event. It went smoothly, started and finished on schedule, and overall exceeded our expectations. It was very convenient to have our wedding venue located within our favorite hotel.

We just got married there. - So that you know they don't offer everything in the brochure they uploaded. - The garden party states there is ICE, but there is not. If you love warm champagne it will work for you. It's Not even Chilled. - Missing a bottle had to do part of the toast with water for guests that don't drink. Left my wedding to find the coordinators to get the missing bottle of Cider. - The Cupcakes are mini/bite-size, but they don't tell you that either. "they are similar to those in the picture" (told in multiple calls) When you read cupcakes you think regular size, not mini/bite-size. Again misleading wording. - The favor Table wasn't set up, I Had to remind them 15 minutes before. Even though it was discussed with the coordinator that they would do that. " We don't set up a table inside because you would see them in the pictures" ( Told in call after the wedding) - The guest Book was not set up where we discussed and agreed upon its placement. " We don't do that, it is always placed in the garden area" (told after the wedding when I called) - Flowers petals bought to line the runner. Someone Made them into a Heart at the end of the runner. Again Not what we wanted nor were we asked about the change they just did it. - the Aisle Runner, bunched at the door in the chapel, created a tripping Hazard, and ripped as well. The photographer tripped on it, and others. "We don't put runners in the chapel, we did as a courtesy to you" ( Why not just give the money back and explain that then, instead of doing a crapy job and taking the money) - The garden Area was decent but as a guest found someone else's boutinere on the ground along with a bouquet where our tables and first dance were to take place. (last wedding, and hot so guess they didn't care) - Communication was excellent at first, we felt important. As time went on it became 3-4 before a response. This seemed to happen after our balance was zeroed out. Even now our coordinator was supposed to get back to us Sunday. Its Wednesday, and nothing. We Called in 3 times to speak to a manager, always out of the office or in a meeting. I left Messages for a return call and still nothing. (the first call was Friday) - When I spoke to the coordinator Friday she became rude and defensive placing blame on us for not asking the right questions, even tho the brochure she sent us in the email and on this site shows and states certain service and items in packages we paid for. Told us that everything we planned they didn't do. Like she didn't remember agreeing to them all and said that they could do them for us. We never asked for anything crazy just a extra table for favors (we also said we would pay if it was extra) - Photographer seemed to be in a rush. " Didnt get our picture suggestions" so we didn't get some of the shots we wanted. Also told "they put the flamingos to bed" so we wouldn't be able to take pictures with them. We saw them sleeping out in the open the next night about 10pm - Best part of the wedding was we got married and the guest who didn't know what was missing love it. Also the private transport I booked was a hit and the Dinner venue I booked was loved. So just beware, I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did. Ask the questions and if you ok with it go for it. It is a beautiful venue just not staffed with the best.

Our wedding coordinator Illiana just didn’t care about the event. I understand this is your job, and this isn’t special for her, but she just shouldn’t be in this business then. Everytime you had a question, it was either a very long time to get a return call, and when you would finally be able to speak, she rushed you off the phone. There were many things that weren’t explained well. There were costs that were not explained. When confronted with these issues, she was immediately defensive. Just generally a bad experience. There is no help from management if your coordinator doesn’t call you back or makes mistakes, so don’t expect accountability. My flowers were extremely wilted, and when confronted with this they just said they look beautiful, no. Rather than arguing on my wedding day I just gave up. They leave the cupcakes out in the what, so they are partially melted by the time people start eating them. Everyone in my party that stayed at the Flamingo was disappointed in the hotel as well. Poor quality rooms that needed to be cleaned and updated. Some of the rooms felt like circus circus. The updated rooms seemed nice, but often not clean. My moms bathroom door was broken, and they tried to say it was her fault. They never even attempted to fix it during her whole stay, and she reported it after being in the room immediately. I will say the venue was beautiful, but you can likely do better than here.

We had our ceremony at the West Lawn in April 2023. All the correspondence from the time we booked to the last details was responded to in a timely and professional manner. We got our own photographer but also used the ceremony one included in our package and those photos were even great. The coordinator was there on the day of and make sure people walking by weren’t stopping to watch us which was much appreciated. The officiant that was supplied by the flamingo was also amazing! He made it personal even though we just met and what he said was great.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Laura was our wedding planner and Chardé was our wedding coordinator. Both are fantastic women and Laura always got back with me in a timely manner. The venue was gorgeous and luckily the pool was off season or we would've had a lot of noise in the background. Our minister Wanda was perfect! She sounded genuinely happy for us in her tone and she was so organized and ready to go. Highly recommend this venue as an option in Vegas. It was also easy to book the room block. Thanks to Heather for that as well!

Got totally married at the Gazebo at the Flamingo. My wife knew that would be the best setting for us upon seeing pics online. I trust her judgement, and yeah, she was right, and it was naturally even more beautiful in person. Granted, I couldn't always see so well because I teared up so much at the altar, but I'm pretty sure it's idyllic. We were just married at the Garden chapel (Gazebo) last week, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Laura was so helpful from the first email I sent when I got engaged until the moment I walked down the aisle (I actually hugged her when we met because I felt like we already knew each other). We never felt like "just another wedding"; we truly felt special, and all of the staff went out of their way to make our day one of a kind. It was a dreamy day and all of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say!!!

They are exactly what you'd expect; a smelly and loud wildlife resort, but it's beautiful because of that. It's history is incredible but it also shows it age. We didn't like that they have started charging for things like parking even for guests of the hotel - it felt like we we nickle and dimed. It has charm, and is pretty clean overall - the staff is super friendly and helpful. The people we worked with directly for our wedding were very helpful and kind, and we appreciated them.

We worked closely with Iliana throughout the process and she was so helpful every step of the way! Our ceremony at the garden gazebo was exactly what we wanted!

Ceremony itself was perfect, exactly what I expected for what we paid for which was simple and straight forward. The coordinators were hit or miss. Miranda (promoted) was great at first, and then Laura the best thereafter. Make sure to communicate. I had the expectation of a pretty normal wedding with just over 50 guests. My biggest complaint was the quality of the photography for the price. After doing more searching on The Knot for a “make up” session when we go back for our 6 month anniversary in June, I’m pretty convinced we overpaid quite a bit for OK quality. I’d advise to provide an extremely detailed list of photos you want from Cashman photography. Make sure you do your research on photography before agreeing to their photography!

We booked our intimate wedding at the Garden Chapel in the Flamingo Hotel & it was perfect! We wanted a small, indoor location for our wedding ceremony and the chapel was even more beautiful than expected. We had such a wonderful experience planning our event from Florida. Iliana, our coordinator, was amazing at coordinating our ceremony and was super friendly and always available to answer my questions. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience for us!

This was an incredible venue and Kimberly A. Did an incredible job of coordinating. When Kimberly was not there, other filled in flawlessly. The Chapel and grounds are perfect. We will undoubtedly come back to new vows on day. Kimberly coordinated the effort to have Roland August (Elvis) perform the Wedding - THE ABSOLUTE BEST !!! - Thanks Kimberly. The only drawback we had was the very very novice photographer from Cashman Photos did a worse than poor job. No photos would be better than the disappointing photos taken - lots of missed opportunity. Linda at Cashman Photos, apparently the manage or owner was very nice, but we simple couldn't order much of anything. Bottom Line: WE LOVE OVER FABULOUS FLAMINGO WEDDING !!

Everything about our day ended up being amazing! The venue staff, photographer, flowers, and ceremony were beyond my expectations.  Although I was more involved than most brides, had I wanted to just show up the day of everything would have been exactly the way I had planned.  I will never forget it!

Great venue! Married in the garden chapel. Make sure that you ask for your room block to all be near each other, otherwise you are spread out in multiple elevators.

If you're wondering if you should "just get married in Vegas" YOU SHOULD! We had a blast, and loved every second of it. It was so beautiful, and even though we are traditional people it was amazing having a nontraditional wedding. The staff was amazing!

My husband and I met at the Flamingo, so we thought it would be cute and sentimental to get married there as well. We were very happy to get married at the Flamingo! The location we chose is the Gazebo Chapel, which accommodated my 110 guests comfortably. My guests raved about how pretty the gazebo and the surrounding garden areas looked. My coordinator was Iliana, and she is very nice and always very helpful and responsive to all my questions via email. My minister was Wanda, and I only met and spoke with Wanda about 15 minutes before my ceremony started. Wanda is very professional, and my guests really liked the minister's choice of passages (they couldn't believe that I had never met the minister until only about 15 minutes before the ceremony!). I also had a small reading that I wanted the minister to share in the ceremony (I provided the reading to Iliana couple of weeks before my wedding), and Wanda did an excellent job incorporating my reading with the overall message and theme of the wedding. Another reason my husband and I decided to get married at the Flamingo is because of their flexible wedding packages and a la carte items. We only purchased or upgraded for the items we needed, and didn't have to waste money on things we don't need. We also liked that we can bring in our own photographer for a small fee of $150 (other venues on the Las Vegas Strip charge way more to bring own photographer, or they do not let you bring any outside photographers at all). My ceremony was short, but sweet and to the point. Everything went smoothly without issues. I would definitely recommend the Flamingo wedding chapels if you want a lovely ceremony for a great value.

We got married at the Flamingo Gazebo chapel and it was perfect. It is nicely secluded and decorated beautifully. We have the most beautiful pictures! The staff at the chapel were also very accommodating and catered to our every need. I definitely recommend it.

I booked 10 rooms through the Flamingo and all my guests had a great time!

I had a very simple wedding with only my brother standing up for me, but the Flamingo provided a beautiful bouquet for me!

I stayed at the Flamingo and I had a lot of mixed reviews from other people but my experience was a good one. We stayed in a regular room for two nights and a suite for three nights. Both rooms were renovated, and very clean, and very cheap! My one concern is I had a couple things go missing the day that we left. I don't think it was housekeeping (I could have misplaced it). So just keep an eye on all your stuff just in case and put anything valuable in the safe they provide.

Travelling from Southern California by Car to Vegas, my wedding dress was wrinkled! I called downstairs to the main desk and asked who could I speak to, they put me right away through to someone. Who said if I was able to bring my dress down that night they could have it for me (the day of my wedding) the very next day! I hurried to them, and they assured me everything would be fine. The next day my hair/makeup appt was running late and I called the front desk and politely told them the situation and asked if they could take it up to my room. They said that they would be able to. Needless to say, I had only seconds to spare to get my dress and get back downstairs for the limo to arrive. They saved the day by not only being able to clean my dress the day of, but putting it in my room so i could have it for my ceremony!! I couldn't ask for such better service!! They put my mind at ease!!

Chose my package @ the Flamingo chapel. The wedding coordinator I had made alot of mistakes on the paperwork, eg mailing address, spelling mistakes, etc. I was worried about my actual wedding day due to her lack of detail. But on my wedding day I had a different coordinator who was great. Everything went smoothly, short and simple ceremony. My only complaint was checking into the hotel, our room was not ready and we had to wait several hours for a clean room. Our package included 2 nights stay. Room was great, room service and housecleaning was great. So overall, satisfied with the ceremony and hotel. The grounds are beautiful, flowers were gorgeous, great photographer but expect to pay ALOT of money for the copyrights to your CD(Cashman Photography).

Wow! I was a bit apprehensive about planning my wedding in a whole different state was overwhelming at first, but The Flamingo did a GREAT job! They tied into the package for me a bridal bouquet that I found on-line and it was PERFECT! They minister was great and I thought that our service couldn't have been better! We were married in their venue they call "Crescendo Pools". They closed the pool and it was very pretty and intimate.

Getting married in Vegas was not the idea my mother had for her daughter, but I ensured her it would be beautiful! The Flamingo was perfect! My colors were hot pink and lime green so the venues colors matched to the T! Other that the normal stess any bride and groom go through on their wedding day there was nothing else to worry about. Kristen had everything done, we simply had to show up! No set up, no take down... Simple and Amazing!

My (now) husband and I wanted to have a fun outgoing wedding and we thought it would be fun to fly to Vegas and have a wedding. (We live in Oregon). While we wanted to have a fun and kinda different wedding, we still wanted to have a nice venue and have some traditional aspects of a wedding. I wasn't totally sure how everything was going to turn out since I am such a visual person and I like to see stuff in person and I would usually talk to someone in person. However, the wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. We communicated through emails and phone. The only negative thing I have to say about our experience is that you don't actually talk to the officiant (about the wedding) until about 10 minutes before the wedding. HOWEVER, the officiant we had truly amazing.. He made our wedding so special and truly "made it for us/ customized". I thought he did a really good job and you would have never known we had just met. It really felt like he knew us. Also, we chose the West Lawns (outside)... and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect. You walk down a brick path to a white gazebo. :) I would definitely recommend coming here. :D For everything that was included and for the things we upgraded, it still was such a reasonable price.

I am so glad I switched to the Flamingo from 702weddings. When we were getting our license we saw the 702weddings chapel and the road in front of it was torn up for construction. Anyway, the Flamingo was a dream. The gazebo felt like a little oasis from the strip. It was beautiful! It is right next to a pool, but I did not hear any noise from the pool at all. The communication with the wedding coordinator was great. Everything was on point when we got there. The coordinator did a good job of explaining the ceremony to everyone and I loved the officiant. He did a great job and his message was very touching. All of our guests were impressed with the Gazebo chapel and the officiant. I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony. If I have one piece of advice, make sure you are set on your ceremony time. When we wanted to switch our wedding time because of the Firefly fiasco, they charged us 75.00 to move our wedding time.

Was pleasantly surprised with the location when we first saw it. Garden was nice and made the ceremony feel intimate. Music was OK - all played from a keyboard so the sound was a little of but we put in a special request that the pianist pulled off perfectly. Only complaint is that we had arranged for personalized bottled water and custom temporary tattoos that we had prepared for the wedding to be placed on the seats of our guests prior to their arrival. That never happened. I didn't even realize until we were at our reception dinner and when I went back the following day they really didn't do anything about the mistake besides say that they don't normally organize such things and I should have had somebody from the wedding party to it. I was very upset by this. One of the only times like I have felt like I received poor customer service when in Vegas and for my wedding? I was very disappointed! Overall though - the reason why we choose the Flamingo for our ceremony was because they were the only hotel on the strip who allowed us to pay a vendor fee and bring our own photographer, and for that they were great. There are things that could be upgraded - the chairs and flooring in the gazebo, but overall we felt like we got what we paid for. The flowers were great and all things considered we were still happy with our day.
