Flower Bar

I used the Flower Bar for my bouquet, boutonniere and corsage needs for my wedding. They were very helpful and did some exciting things for us including creating a Spider-Man action figure boutonniere for my husband. When we first got our quote it seemed like a great value, however the bouquets were rather small, which I guess made the price make more sense. Overall I was pleased, however I would be specific about sizing when requesting a quote.

I went to the Flower Bar on a recommendation for cost effective, beautiful flowers. I saw pictures and checked out the site. They were simple, beautiful, and truly showcasing the flowers themselves in a natural beauty. It was a style I liked immediately. They did the bouquets for my bridesmaids and me, the flowers for the groomsmen/women, and the groom's parents. (We ordered centerpiece flowers wholesale from a different place and did them ourselves). The flowers were gorgeous and just what we wanted. They highlighted the natural flower and had a soft elegance to them. The staff is amazing and patient, working with me even though I changed my mind a couple of times. They also worked with our schedule and seemed very accommodating. I would recommend this vendor, and when I was going about as a maid of honor recently, heard them recommended each time flowers were brought up.

We had over 150 dozen red roses and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone that attended our event mentioned how beautiful the flowers were. You can't go wrong with flower bar,

Flower Bar was our first stop based off what we saw at a bridal show a week before (beautiful work!!). Our first impression was of a very cluttered and messy establishment. I'm not talking about cut stems or petals on the floor, but of very messy workspaces with papers/quotes everywhere and dead flowers under the bar stools where you sit for your consultation. The first question asked of us was, 'what do you want?' She did not ask us our date, our names, or our vision/theme. I told her I didn't know what I wanted exactly and was hoping for some suggestions and direction. Her reply was, 'that makes it really tough for me, brides should know what they want before making an appointment.' As this being our first stop, I thought I hadn't done enough research or narrow my choices down enough. Her whole demeanor changed after this and I really felt she was being over dramatic and condescending when taking down our information. The worst part of this experience is that she made no suggestions or showed us any books or examples. For example, I asked about accents in deep blue and she gave me the 'I'm so clever, watch this' look and got a white daisy out of the trash can and SPRAY PAINTED IT BLUE. She said its easier to do something like that then to spend money on expensive hydrangeas or blue delphinium. The only reason I didn't give this vendor one star is for the fact that they came in $1000 under my budget and seem pretty reasonable....but for $1800 you get the blue spray painted daises.

After getting engaged my mom and I booked several appointments with local florists. The first one we went to had done my sister's wedding a couple of years ago and did a great job. They were just starting out at the time and went above and beyond. However, when we went to them they seemed too big for their own good and didn't seem very interested...we moved on. The next couple went about the same way, wanting to add colors, change my date even, or making the prices outrageous for what we wanted. Then someone recommended 'Flower Bar'...what a difference! My mom and I explained to them what I wanted and within minutes they completely got it! It seemed effortless for them and everything she was relaying back to me was exactly what I had envisioned. It was amazing to have someone on my team that was just as excited about creating this amazing 'look' as I was. They came up with a design for the candelabras that I was more than happy about and on the day of the wedding my tables looked like a dream. I have heard nothing but great things about our tables/flowers and I will definitely be recommending Flower Bar every chance I get. Thank you Flower Bar for simply 'getting it'!

When I first met with the people at the Flower Bar, I was SO excited. They took the time to sit down with me and discuss my options, what I wanted, all while staying within my budget. I left feeling relieved that my flowers would be beautiful without breaking the bank. When the day of came, we were so busy that I did not get to see the florist drop them off and only saw them as I was about to walk down the aisle. My bouquets, and that of my bridesmaids were just what we had talked about and were beautiful. However, once I got to the reception and saw my centerpieces I about died! They were not at all what we discussed, in style or quality. I had even provided a picture and these did not come close. After the wedding I had friends ask me if I had done it as a DIY or had a friend make them for me. It was absolutely embarrassing. They did not look professional and did not meet what we had talked about when I met with them earlier. If you choose to go with the vendor I would be sure to regularly follow up with detailed reminders of what you want to ensure you get just that.
