Foothills Brewing is a craft brewery featuring a private event venue located in Winston-Salem, NC, perfect for rehearsal dinners and wedding showers. Situated next door to the brewpub, Footnote is for laid-back celebrations. You can hold any wedding-related event in this modern, industrial-chic event space. The brewery has won several awards at the Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Cup, American Brewers’ Palate Awards, and other events.
Foothills Brewing opened its doors in 2005, where locals and tourists alike enjoy their regional libations. Nestled in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem, it features beers brewed using the freshest ingredients available. Choose from dozens of brewery staples and seasonal releases like Hoppyum IPA, Malt Shaker Amber Ale, Foothills Oktoberfest, and Baltic Porter, among many others. Owners Jamie and Matt take great pride in producing quality beers throughout the seasons. Footnote is the company’s newest establishment, sharing a wall with the original pub. Boasting craft brews, signature cocktails, and fresh coffee roasted in-house, this venue is available for a wide spectrum of events. The spacious function areas can accommodate up to 250 guests. With three event spaces and a main bar, it spans an area of 4,500 square feet.
When you book your event here, you’ll have access to professional planning assistance from the company’s event coordinator. Jennie Hess is an expert at organizing stunning celebrations and using the space to its fullest. While she worked in several industries throughout her career, Jennie always gravitated toward party planning. She had coordinated events at local vineyards before becoming the official event director at Foothills Brewing. Jennie is happy to offer assistance in arranging engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, day-after brunches, and more. The venue provides delightful catering services, and with a variety of craft beers and cocktails, their bar services highlight the event. Alcohol-free drinks include expertly roasted coffee as well as a selection of teas and other beverages.

She is passionate about making sure her clients receive the best care possible, whether for a simple dinner out or for special life events like weddings and graduations. She leads a team of over 50 employees and consistently focuses on training to ensure all team members deliver to her high standards. Heidi has a huge heart for hospitality! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and listening to live music.
