We were so lucky to have Gust be apart of our special day. We met him in person when looking for officiants and quickly knew that he would do a great job. We were not wrong! Gust does a fabulous job tailoring the ceremony to you as a couple. He had us write about each other and shared during the ceremony which added a great touch. We both cried. A lot. Gust even came all the way out to our venue for the rehearsal that took about 5 minutes. Would highly recommend!!

Gust was so helpful during our wedding planning, he immediately put my now husband and I at ease as he as so much experience and knew exactly what he was doing. He was responsive to our questions and sent us several drafts of our wedding ceremony for our review weeks before the event. On the day of wedding he arrived early and worked out all the last necessary details with out DJ and the ceremony went off without a hitch. We received several compliments from guests on Gust's ceremony because it was so sweet, funny, and personalized. The length was perfect (about 30 minutes with the sand ceremony). Gust was fantastic. My wife and I were trying to plan a wedding in Michigan to be closer to our friends and family from our home 1200 miles away. Gust made the whole thing painless by video chatting, keeping us up on a timeline for what he needed, and being prompt and helpful throughout the process. Gust amazed us with his abilities to create a beautiful and unique wedding ceremony that exceeded our expectations. For us, the most important component of our wedding was combining our two cultures together - Christian and Persian. Planning a wedding from out of state added another layer to the wedding planning. Gust, was great to work with! He was highly recommended to us by our wedding venue (CityFlats Hotel) and soon after contacting him through his website he set up a phone call with us. Through the process he made sure we were comfortable with the script and continued to assure us (the bride and groom) that everything would be fine. This was my first "wedding ceremony" My husband and I eloped on our third date ...My husband and I decided to renew our vows after 20 years of marriage . THIS WAS SO STRESSFUL! We had such a wonderful experience working with Gusto! My fiancé (now husband!) and I really struggled to find the perfect officiant for our wedding. We knew we didn’t want just anyone to marry us—we wanted someone who we felt extremely comfortable with, who would be engaging for our guests to listen to, and who would take an interest in our “story” and how we envisioned our ceremony. We attend a large non-denominational Christian church, and haven’t formed a personal relationship with any of the pastors there. Further complicating things, we grew up with different religious backgrounds (Catholic and Reformed) and didn’t want to end up with a ceremony that stuck closely with one faith while excluding the other. Not knowing where else to look, we began to search online, and that’s when we came across Gusto. We began our first Skype “meeting” not knowing what to expect, but by the end of our talk with Gusto, we knew we had found the right person to marry us! Right away, we could see how warm and caring he is, and how much thought he puts into every ceremony he performs. In addition to designing our wedding ceremony script together, we also met with Gusto for several pre-marital coaching sessions. We can’t recommend these sessions enough! Gusto’s approach is tailored to each couple he works with; we got to choose many of the topics we dealt with, and we found it very beneficial to our relationship. He got us talking about some important subjects, and led us through a discussion in a very comfortable way. We never felt judged or anxious during these sessions; in fact, after leaving each one we would talk about what a good time we had, and how much we enjoyed spending time with Gusto. Through these coaching sessions, we not only strengthened our relationship as a couple, but we also formed a close friendship with Gusto. When it came time to write our ceremony script, we really appreciated Gusto’s flexibility. We felt strongly that we wanted to design our own ceremony, including choosing readings and selecting which elements to include. Gusto was completely supportive of us taking the lead, while making sure that we had the guidance we needed. He was there for us every step of the way, including leading us through our ceremony rehearsal. He had us practice all the little details, such as the transitions between different ceremony elements, which helped our wedding to flow much more smoothly than it might have otherwise. On the wedding day, we felt very relaxed about the ceremony, because we knew Gusto had everything under control. His delivery of our script was wonderful, and our friendship with him made the day much more meaningful. Everyone raved about him afterwards, and what a beautiful job he did with our ceremony. Gust was the perfect officiant for my now husband and I. We had a difficult time finding what we wanted in someone who was going to marry us on our special day. As a Jew marrying a Catholic, we both wanted to find someone who would honor different traditions while upholding the sincerity and importance of the event. We had a low-key ceremony at our home, Gust put together a personalized ceremony and was very professional. I am happy he was part of our day.

Gust was very easy to work with. He did scare me a bit at first because he was very strict but it helped my rehearsal go very smoothly. He created a ceremony even better than I could have dreamed of. Gust was a good officiant but not always the most professional at times. He was 45 minutes late to my rehearsal and was a bit rude to me about his tardiness but in light of it all he was more than early to the ceremony and everything went smoothly, so I would give him a thumbs up.

My husband and I found Gust by searching online for local officiants. We do not belong to a church and are not religious, so it was important to us to not incorporate those 'traditional' aspects of a wedding ceremony into ours. Gust met us at a coffee shop and talked us through samples of his work. He asked us about a lot of things that we never even thought of before. Gust is friendly, easy to get along with, and a good communicator. He incorporated everything we asked for into our ceremony, even though we only gave him a few months to arrange it. Gust even changed things around at my request a week before the wedding! Gust worked well with our wedding coordinator at the rehearsal and our ceremony. He is a great choice for an officiant, especially if you desire to break from tradition a bit.

We found Gust online and met him at a coffee shop on Easter Sunday of all days. He was extremely friendly and seemed eager to help us to make our ceremony memorable. We didn't want a heavily religious wedding ceremony and he worked really hard to incorporate stories from our lives together and it was really neat what he came up with! He will tell you "I have never been late to an event, and I don't plan to anytime soon" and that was absolutely true! He was great!
