e my friend’s wedding a year ago at Secret Gardens. I loved how smoothly everything ran, so I immediately felt confident booking her for my own wedding.
From the beginning, communication with the team was delayed. I understand that weddings are busy, but as a paying client, I was promised consistent communication. When I began making payments six months prior to my wedding, communication became even more limited. I emailed Bobbie’s assistant because I like to keep records of my payments, and the Planning Pod was not updated. All I requested was documentation, which I did not feel was unreasonable. Unfortunately, the response I received felt dismissive and had an attitude, stating that communication would improve closer to my wedding date. While I tried to remain understanding of their busy schedule, being told every month that they were “busy” became frustrating, especially while I was actively paying and planning.
Two months before my wedding, Bobbie informed me that she had moved to Texas due to an emergency. I sympathize with her situation; however, I wish I had been informed earlier so I could have considered canceling and booking another coordinator. I was extremely stressed knowing that the coordinator I originally hired would not be present. Many things that were promised to me and my family at the time of booking were changed closer and closer towards the wedding.
For context, my wedding was not at Secret Gardens it was at Loveland. I felt as though my wedding was not a priority since it was not at their sponsored venue. While the venue was a bit difficult to work with, the coordination team did not make the process easier either. I often found myself in the middle communicating between the venue and Bobbie because I was told the venue was hard to deal with. I hired a coordination team specifically so I wouldn’t have to do this legwork myself. I hired a team to help relieve my stress, but I was overwhelmingly stressed, and so was my partner as well.
I was also promised two planners on the day of my wedding, but only ONE showed up. It was clear that another wedding at Secret Gardens took priority that day which that shouldn't have happened. If it weren’t for my family and the venue coordinator stepping in to help, the wedding could have easily become chaotic. With only one planner present, it was difficult for her to manage everything. Guests were wandering in the ceremony area while immediate family pictures were going on since the assistant was no where to be found and the photographers had to get involved, kicking everyone out since I, the bride, got SUPER UPSET. No bride should ever get upset during her wedding day. No guidance was given to the guests where they needed to go. My husband and I were standing for about 15 minutes doing nothing, not getting told what to do. We wasted a lot of time. Despite clearly labeled decor boxes, I and my family still had to oversee several details ourselves. IF we had the two planners like we were promised to have, as per our timeline, the outcome would've been different.
Overall, I was genuinely disappointed in the money we spent. My wedding was the last one they planned, and it felt like it was not a priority, sad to say. Things could've been different, but this is my honest opinion of the outcome.

They took our vision and elevated it beyond anything we imagined. The décor, timing, coordination, and personal touches were absolutely flawless. Our family and guests were blown away, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment knowing everything was in expert hands.
What impressed us most was the team’s warmth and genuine dedication. They treated our celebration as if it were their own family’s event, and it showed in every detail.
Thanks to them, our 30-year vow renewal became a memory we will cherish forever. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend their services to anyone who wants an unforgettable, beautifully executed event.

Beware of Fortuna Events Miami (Bobbie), she is the absolute worst. She doesn't care about her clients unless they do what she says or unless they are...
Hispanic or Caucasian. She is stuck in her old ways, she wants to do things the same way she's used to, she is not open to new ideas from you as the bride (she says, this is not what we normally do), but forgets that it's not her day and every bride is not the same. She goes behind your back to tell your caterer not to do anything extra since she's worked with them for years, she goes behind your back to talk to owners, all under the guise that she is helping you and has your best interest at heart, not knowing that you are in constant communication with them and they've come to an agreement with you already. It's like she wanted to sow discord.
I'm not sure if she's racist since the couple was young and black or just bitter that the couple only chose her for the month of.
She also has a clause in her contract that you or anyone who was present at your wedding cannot write a negative review, which she will make sure to send you a screenshot of when you express your dissatisfaction with her services and tell you that "I spent a long time trying to build my brand". This couple spent so much money to make this day perfect and she ruined it. The bride cried for a whole month straight after their wedding because Bobbie ruined it completely but she blames it all on the fact that the bridal party was late (no speeches, no garter/bouquet toss, she poured the champagne for the champagne tower instead of letting the couple do it, the table arrangements were switched the morning of the wedding, she picked a fight with the florist, sat outside during the reception and left the bride and groom to try and coordinate the reception, sat the bride and the groom in the suite for at least 1hr after the ceremony before they did the room reveal, sent the ballerinas to the suite where the couple was and ruined the surprise for the groom who didn't know ballerinas were going to dance around them during their first dance--which she was informed about). Even if the bridal party was late for 1hr, these things take less then 1hr to complete combined. I sincerely advise you to spend your money better. It was just a horrible day, it left a scar truthfully. Imagine spending so much time to plan something with someone who claims to be a professional, everything was booked, every details handed to her, just for her to sabotage it. It's like she was a little demon. She was even in the bride's entrance shot to the ceremony 😱🥹. The day can never be redone. It's heartbreaking 💔.

celed two weeks prior to the event and Bobbie just felt out of the sky like an angel to help us. When I met her all I told was was " This is what I like, Do whatever you want"; and so did she. All we had to do is show up to our wedding. In two weeks she booked us the venue, vendors, florals, and more. The day of the event she made sure everything was exactly what we envisioned. Now let's talk about our honeymoon! She planned the most stunning honey moon in Bali. German and I were very excited to be there. The hotel she booked was one on the best hotels in Bali and our flights were all taken care of. Two days prior to the honeymoon our flights get canceled and no flights were available to Bali. She literally planned a new honeymoon plan in 24 hours and it turned out even better. She booked us a perfect Villa in the water in Maldives. It was a dream. From start to finish, she was organized with her planning & notes, scheduled Zoom meetings to go over every detail, and toured our venue with us and our DJ (Dave Trakz Entertainment) to ensure that all final details and preparation would be set for the wedding. Not only did she drive over 4 hours to be present for the venue walkthrough, wedding rehearsal, and wedding day, but she was also participated in Zoom meetings with our venue and catering contact. She went over everything I needed to have prepared and how it should be organized, such as having our decor and items listed in marked storage bins.
As someone who usually stresses over everything, I can say with certainty that my wedding day was one of the most stress-free days of my life thanks to Bobbie. For the rehearsal, Bobbie walked us through the order of events and ceremony in a timely fashion at our venue. On the day of our wedding, she and her assistant arrived early to the venue to check in with me as I was getting ready in the on-site cottage. They collected the bins and started transforming venue as soon as they were able to. Additionally, Bobbie had our welcome sign, seating chart, & menus designed and printed. While we had an early evening ceremony, it began to rain before Bobbie and our venue began to set up the outdoor seating. Bobbie called me, explained what happened and how she would be able to transform the ball room (where the reception would later take place) into a ceremony area. She sent me photos of the ball room; it was absolutely gorgeous and even more elegant than we had originally planned. Following a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour, we were preparing for the entrance into the reception when it became apparent that the shop which had done my wedding dress alterations only completed half of the bustle. With her emergency box close by and safety pins in hand, she and our amazing photographer (Joy Grace Photography) went out of their way to transform my long train into a fully complete bustle. No one could tell anything was wrong with my dress. So when I tell you Bobbie is a miracle worker, that’s the God’s honest truth.

in 2020, delays, more delays and frustration seemed to be the narrative. After our third postponement, we canceled Mexico and decided to have a smaller wedding in Miami. Thank God I found Bobbie!

Being a 2020 Bride sucked terribly! And I am so thankful I had Bobbie holding my hand through the COVID 19 restrictions nightmares.
She was there for me 24/7, always had my back and was always able to calm me down during the ups and downs of this planning process.
She was always so positive, always fought for us and went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out ok and that we had our dream wedding.
Despite all the restrictions and me accepting that things wouldn't be what I had initially imagined, thanks to Bobbie and all our wonderful vendors our special day turned out event better than what I had prayed for.
Bobbie was a TRUE BLESSING, and I have no idea what would have happened if we didn't have her.
After everything we went through to plan our wedding, we were hit with a heavy tropical storm on our day. Half of the festivities were planned outside and Bobbie did such an amazing job at redesigning the entire layout of the set ups in few hours.
With Covid I kept loosing guests, adding guests last minute (even the night before). Bobbie was wonderful at bouncing back and forth and accommodating everyone and everything.
She was like my wedding mom, so compassionate, genuine, responsive, loving with so much positive energy.
Bobbie also booked our honeymoon and got us the most AMAZING deals. She is a 2 in 1: She is a wedding planner and a travel agent.

the very beginning to the very end. Always willing to answer my questions and listen to my ideas.
Originally both my ceremony and reception was set to be outside. Thankfully Bobbie arrived the day before to receive all of the furniture and called to asked me what I thought of moving the reception inside to the air-conditioned farmhouse because she was worried about me and my guests in the heat. Miami heat in the middle of August is no joke and her simple suggestion made my wedding 100% better than it would have been! She set up the barn house beautifully and added all the little touches I had brought along that I had asked her to use.
She was also the main contact with all of the vendors to make sure everything and everyone arrived on time and was as it should be.
She was also there to save me from walking down the aisle without my bouquet! In all of the hype I literally left the bridal suite without my flowers and was about 1 minute from walking down the aisle without them. She immediately told the DJ to hold off an extra minute on my song while my son hauled butt to go get them for me.
I hope to work with her in the near future for any other events I may have!

My parents were from out of town and I didn't have them or my siblings around to help but Bobbie was there helping me finding the right dress to finding the right venue and the right baker, and make up artist. She made sure that I get exactly what I ask for and wanted from the vendors. Even the people from the venue told me how on tract she kept them from the planning until the day of the wedding. I felt no stress on the day of the wedding because she shielded both my husband and I. I couldn't have pick the right person for this. She is the best wedding Planner ever.
