We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing wedding planner! From start to finish, Bobbi made my son and daughter in law's special day absolutely perfect! Her attention to detail, creativity, and organization was unmatched. She handled every aspect with professionalism and care, ensuring that the entire family could fully enjoy the experience without any stress. Bobby was unprofessional and borderline a scammer. She promised quality work but delivered very poor quality and late. When we questioned the level of work and the delays, Bobby proceeded to say she no longer wanted to work with us and would retain half our deposit. Avoid her at all costs, you need someone reliable and who cares about your wedding. Bobby is not that person.
We met Bobbie through a bridal expo where she was having a wedding giveaway. We were fortunate enough to win a fabulous wedding. She was helpful and resourceful. Through her wedding vendor connections, she was able to give us the wedding of our dreams.

Bobbie was extremely helpful as we prepared for our destination wedding in Miami. She was very personable throughout our entire wedding journey which allowed us to have a great working relationship. She suggested our dream team of vendors who could supply us with quality, kindness, and listening ears as we explained the vision for our wedding day. As a couple who was traveling for our wedding day this was extremely important as we did not have personal contacts in the area. We trusted Bobbie’s recommendations and every vendor she suggested was remarkable! Moreover, Bobbie checked in with us monthly and in between as needed to keep us on track for the wedding day, to review our setup for the ceremony and reception, and so much more. In addition to her relationship with others her previous experience with graphic design was extremely helpful as she created our wedding invitation which was in the format of a magazine! The wedding day was truly memorable and magical due to Bobbie’s expertise and execution. We were grateful to have the experience to work with her and definitely recommend her to other couples!

We LOVE Fortuna Events. Bobbie made our modern white rose wedding come to life we couldn't have done it without her. She was very communicative throughout the entire experience and made sure to fix the very few things that went wrong so we did not have a clue that they happened. We would recommended her to many family and friends we will be using her event planning services in the future. 10/10!
We are very disappointed with the overall quality of the service for such an important and expensive day. We are not really the type to leave reviews but feel our experience is important for other brides and grooms to be aware of.
We were not from the Miami area so we thought it would be a good idea to have a wedding planner who knows the venue and the vendors to make it easy for us.
When we started working with Bobbie, we did the vision board which is one of the selling points of the service. From a design and creativity standpoint, we were really excited to see what our wedding planner could do with our vision. There was very limited support here as she copied and pasted the work we had already done and put it into a different PowerPoint.
For the first few months, we had to keep reminding Bobbie what our wedding date was, our color palette, and pretty much all the details of the wedding. Throughout the process, it felt like nothing was written down, cared for, or cared about and that without our follow-up, we are not sure things would have gotten done. There was very limited proactive communication to us and it felt like we were in it alone. Anytime we struggled to communicate with her she would say she was very busy because it was “wedding season”, but used this excuse year round leading up to our wedding.
For example, we asked for a transportation quote from some vendors in the area. After over 1 month went by, we followed up to see about the quote. They provided 1 quote from a vendor we had told them we already spoke with while on a call, the price was more than the quote we got ourselves. We ended up finding many better options and went with our vendors. After a few instances of lack of effort, we started to lose trust in the planning process and thought the day of coordination would be where the value would come in.
We could not have been more wrong. We were not doing a champagne toast and asked to have wine on the tables with dinner for guests to serve themselves if they wanted. When we came in for the first look at the reception space there were no wine glasses and champagne had already been poured for a toast. We had purchased tiny pineapple shot glasses that were to be filled with a mixed pineapple/tequila drink to make the clear glass yellow to resemble a pineapple, but they were filled with straight tequila. Many of our guests did not drink them. We had purchased our wine/champagne/liquor from Total Wine with the notion of returning any unopened bottles, needless to say these were very expensive mistakes. The disappointment on our face was captured in our photos.
We had set up a dedicated time prior to the wedding to meet with Bobbie and the florist to select the flowers for the arrangements. We met at Bobbie’s office after work and expressed concern that the flowers did not match the color palette we wanted and that it was too dark. Bobbie assured us that it was just the lighting and that the flowers would look different in natural light. She showed us a photo from earlier during the day and we cautiously agreed to the arrangement but stated that we did not want any red anthurium in the bouquets. We even sent a follow up text message after the meeting expressing how important this was in hopes that she would get this one detail right, but low and behold on the wedding day, the red flower was in everything, including the bridal bouquet. Instead of apologizing, she told us that a pink or yellow anthurium wasn’t in season. The men were supposed to have tiny pineapples for their boutonniere, but they received a basic flower. We received no heads up prior to our arrival on the wedding day from Bobbie even though this was her preferred vendor.
On the day of the wedding, we the bride and groom had to raise our voice with Bobbie because the same level of organization and care that went into the planning was the same as wedding day. I vividly remember saying, “thats your job, Bobbie!” because we were being asked to do things that a wedding planner should certainly be doing on wedding day.
Bottom line, very unorganized, lack of follow-up in communication and deliverables, does not listen, write things down or follow through. If you do not consistently follow up, nothing will get done.
We are really trying to figure out if this is just the level of service intended, or what happened. The review is already so long but we could provide 20+ more instances. Really so heartbreaking.
Bobbie and the team left the venue as we, the bride and groom and friends, were breaking down and cleaning up the bar area. Very unprofessional. We would not recommend the services of Bobbie and Fortuna Events at all to anyone for any reason. Our wedding day was still the best day of our lives thanks to the DJ, good drinks and our friends and family but dang from a wedding planner/business side of things, we felt extremely let down.
Bobbie and her team have been such a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and the wedding went just the way we wanted. She fit in like family. Highly recommend her for your events especially your wedding. Trust me you will thank me for recommending her services. Oh and her assistant Amanda is wonderful as well making sure we turned it everything so the day could go smoothly.
Where can I begin!? The professionalism and organization throughout the entire event planning process that Fortuna Events offers is exceptional! The vision board is a PLUS, where step by step we saw everything come to life! Fortuna Events will always hold a special place in our hearts as they work hard and are very detailed oriented in order to make your event exquisite! The day of our wedding, they worked long hours very patiently side by side with us keeping an open communication at all times which was AMAZING!! We highly recommend Fortuna Events for your future events, the communication is exceptional, the way they are so organized will take all the stress off your shoulders and your vision will definitely come to LIFE!
I thought wedding planning was a going to be a hectic hot mess but thank to Bobbie and the Fortuna team, it was a breeze! Bobbie and her team made sure that every little detail was on point (down to my now husband's very specific boutonniere)! The day was coordinated to include everything we wanted to do and we literally had the time of our life. Bobbie made sure to prioritize the things we wanted to do (PARTY LOL!) and emphasized that our day ran through smoothly. Honestly, BEST DAY EVER and trust me when I say, you need Bobbie!

Bobbie and her team made my dream wedding a reality! I hired her for month-of and my only regret is that I did not hire her right from the start! All of her vendors were perfect and created an amazing experience for everyone involved. The day was perfect and it wouldn't have happened without her and the team!
We hired Bobbie and her team to plan our wedding, and we were very satisfied with how everything turned out. Although the process was stressful and a bit chaotic because we were out of state, Bobbie always reassured us that she had things under control - and she did. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and we highly recommend Bobbie and her team.
We booked Bobbie about a year ahead of our wedding for month of and day of planning services. In the beginning, she helped us create a beautiful vision board, she gave us lots of helpful advice at our food tasting, and she helped us create the wedding timeline, the seating chart and welcome chart. We were told by several people to have low expectations for our reception because something would inevitably go wrong and not according to the timeline. However, because Bobbie was there, everything followed the timeline exactly and was executed perfectly. Any bride would be so lucky to have her. Thank you for all your time and attention, Bobbie!

Bobbie & Xiomara were the best decision we made with our wedding. I cannot imagine what it would've been like without them. Bobbie made sure we had every little detail taken care of, things we never would've thought of on our own. We don't know how to start this review because words are not enough to explain everything that Bobbie did for us on our wedding and honeymoon. Long story short, our wedding got canceled two weeks prior to the event and Bobbie just felt out of the sky like an angel to help us. When I met her all I told was was " This is what I like, Do whatever you want"; and so did she. All we had to do is show up to our wedding. In two weeks she booked us the venue, vendors, florals, and more. The day of the event she made sure everything was exactly what we envisioned. She designed our wedding to perfection. Can you believe she did all of that in just two weeks? We were blessed to hire her to fully plan and execute our wedding.
Now let's talk about our honeymoon! She planned the most stunning honey moon in Bali. German and I were very excited to be there. The hotel she booked was one on the best hotels in Bali and our flights were all taken care of. Two days prior to the honeymoon our flights get canceled and no flights were available to Bali. She literally planned a new honeymoon plan in 24 hours and it turned out even better. She booked us a perfect Villa in the water in Maldives. It was a dream. We don't know what would have done without her. Her attention to detail and organization are to the point. Both our wedding and honeymoon were exactly what we dreamed of and more. This was the absolute best service I could have asked for during a pandemic. She made the event beautiful and everything happened effortlessly. I felt as though she was my fairy godmother. Was super attentive and detailed about all the time lines and everyone roles. Made the transition (we had to switch our wedding date due to the pandemic) effortlessly. 11/10 would recommended to any bride who truly wants a supportive wedding planner that only wants the best for the bride and truly enjoys her work!
Our dream wedding came true and it wouldn’t have been possible without Bobbie! If you need a planner who will make sure you everything goes off without a hitch, then Bobbie is your person. From start to finish, she was organized with her planning & notes, scheduled Zoom meetings to go over every detail, and toured our venue with us and our DJ (Dave Trakz Entertainment) to ensure that all final details and preparation would be set for the wedding. Not only did she drive over 4 hours to be present for the venue walkthrough, wedding rehearsal, and wedding day, but she was also participated in Zoom meetings with our venue and catering contact. She went over everything I needed to have prepared and how it should be organized, such as having our decor and items listed in marked storage bins.
As someone who usually stresses over everything, I can say with certainty that my wedding day was one of the most stress-free days of my life thanks to Bobbie. For the rehearsal, Bobbie walked us through the order of events and ceremony in a timely fashion at our venue. On the day of our wedding, she and her assistant arrived early to the venue to check in with me as I was getting ready in the on-site cottage. They collected the bins and started transforming venue as soon as they were able to. Additionally, Bobbie had our welcome sign, seating chart, & menus designed and printed. While we had an early evening ceremony, it began to rain before Bobbie and our venue began to set up the outdoor seating. Bobbie called me, explained what happened and how she would be able to transform the ball room (where the reception would later take place) into a ceremony area. She sent me photos of the ball room; it was absolutely gorgeous and even more elegant than we had originally planned. Following a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour, we were preparing for the entrance into the reception when it became apparent that the shop which had done my wedding dress alterations only completed half of the bustle. With her emergency box close by and safety pins in hand, she and our amazing photographer (Joy Grace Photography) went out of their way to transform my long train into a fully complete bustle. No one could tell anything was wrong with my dress. So when I tell you Bobbie is a miracle worker, that’s the God’s honest truth.

I got married in the middle of a Pandemic with a very tight budget and Fortuna Wedding’s not only made my dream come true but it was better than I could have even dreamt it. Bobbie has such a special heart she went above and beyond for me to make sure my day was absolutely perfect. Organized but like OCD with a sparkle ✨ I was calm and enjoyed every minute because she definitely took care of me. Where to start...
My original wedding was planned for 2020. It was a destination wedding in Mexico. Needless to say, that didn't happen. Like many people that had weddings planned in 2020, delays, more delays and frustration seemed to be the narrative. After our third postponement, we canceled Mexico and decided to have a smaller wedding in Miami. Thank God I found Bobbie!
We took a massive wedding and recreated it in 4 weeks with a new venue, new vendors but same look and feel. She did an amazing job is all I can say. With what started with a roller coaster of emotions we ended with the wedding of my dreams!
I will start with these wise words: EVERYONE NEEDS BOBBIE!

I am a very organized person and I had not planned to hire a wedding planner, let me tell you, you can be as organized and OCD as you want, trust me when I tell you you NEED BOBBIE.
Being a 2020 Bride sucked terribly! And I am so thankful I had Bobbie holding my hand through the COVID 19 restrictions nightmares.
She was there for me 24/7, always had my back and was always able to calm me down during the ups and downs of this planning process.
She was always so positive, always fought for us and went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out ok and that we had our dream wedding.
Despite all the restrictions and me accepting that things wouldn't be what I had initially imagined, thanks to Bobbie and all our wonderful vendors our special day turned out event better than what I had prayed for.
Bobbie was a TRUE BLESSING, and I have no idea what would have happened if we didn't have her.
After everything we went through to plan our wedding, we were hit with a heavy tropical storm on our day. Half of the festivities were planned outside and Bobbie did such an amazing job at redesigning the entire layout of the set ups in few hours.
With Covid I kept loosing guests, adding guests last minute (even the night before). Bobbie was wonderful at bouncing back and forth and accommodating everyone and everything.
She was like my wedding mom, so compassionate, genuine, responsive, loving with so much positive energy.
Bobbie also booked our honeymoon and got us the most AMAZING deals. She is a 2 in 1: She is a wedding planner and a travel agent.
We had accepted we weren't going to have the honeymoon we wanted. Thanks to Bobbie we are having something even better than what we originally wanted and for a lot cheaper!

Let me start by saying that my husband and I were blessed to have won an all inclusive micro-wedding where Bobbie with Fortuna Events was my planner.
She was an absolute doll from the very beginning to the very end. Always willing to answer my questions and listen to my ideas.
Originally both my ceremony and reception was set to be outside. Thankfully Bobbie arrived the day before to receive all of the furniture and called to asked me what I thought of moving the reception inside to the air-conditioned farmhouse because she was worried about me and my guests in the heat. Miami heat in the middle of August is no joke and her simple suggestion made my wedding 100% better than it would have been! She set up the barn house beautifully and added all the little touches I had brought along that I had asked her to use.
She was also the main contact with all of the vendors to make sure everything and everyone arrived on time and was as it should be.
She was also there to save me from walking down the aisle without my bouquet! In all of the hype I literally left the bridal suite without my flowers and was about 1 minute from walking down the aisle without them. She immediately told the DJ to hold off an extra minute on my song while my son hauled butt to go get them for me.
I hope to work with her in the near future for any other events I may have!
I always heard different opinions about hiring a wedding planner, but in the end I'm so glad I went with my gut feeling. There is no way I could have done this wedding without the help of Bobbie. I called her endless amount of times asking for advice or random questions because I had no idea what I was doing. Bobbie went above and beyond to help my vision become a reality. I had a 1920's Gatsby theme and it was far from a traditional wedding. I wanted something different and she helped me make that possible. She provided amazing vendor recommendations, gave her advice when needed, and helped me make decisions when I was indecisive. I like to be in control, however the day of the wedding I let Bobbie take the wheel and she did not disappoint! Everything ran smoothly and the wedding was spectacular! If something went wrong that day we didn't even notice. That's how amazing Bobbie is!
When it came to wedding planning I was so overwhelmed, I knew I needed someone to guide me and point me in the right direction – Bobbie did just that and so much more. She provided various recommendations for vendors, including our amazing florist (A Creation by Mario!!), and was there with me every step of the way ensuring that we were on track with everything. She meticulously put together an extremely detailed timeline for our day, which made me so much more relaxed on the day of as I was aware of exactly what was occurring at what time. She went above and beyond in so many aspects of our wedding and it was all absolutely perfect – even better than what we imagined. My mom even had a panic attack in our bridal suite right before walking down the aisle, and Bobbie was there calming her down and distracting her. I seriously can’t thank her enough for such a perfect day – all of our guests have said it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to. I can’t recommend Bobbie enough – she’ll make your wedding day absolutely spectacular!
My husband and I hire Fortuna Event Management for our wedding. Bobbie from fortuna event was phenomenal. She made sure everything was correct from the beginning till the end. I mean she went wayyyy above and beyond. My parents were from out of town and I didn't have them or my siblings around to help but Bobbie was there helping me finding the right dress to finding the right venue and the right baker, and make up artist. She made sure that I get exactly what I ask for and wanted from the vendors. Even the people from the venue told me how on tract she kept them from the planning until the day of the wedding. I felt no stress on the day of the wedding because she shielded both my husband and I. I couldn't have pick the right person for this. She is the best wedding Planner ever. All of my guests rave and compliments on how classy and perfect the wedding and timeline was. And It was all because of Bobbie from Fortuna Event Management. She is Terrific!!!!
