FreeBird Ceremonies flew in 2016, connecting the best parts of my theatre work to my passion for cherishing life events with personalized ceremonies. A believer in formal education, I hold double certification from The Celebrant Foundation as a Life Cycle Celebrant and Wedding Officiant. rehearsal and ceremony, Jennie met with us to discuss expectations and help us brainstorm. She was very conscientious about taking our wants into consideration while also giving her own suggestions to steer us in the right direction. During the whole process Jennie was very helpful and even anticipated our needs before we knew we had them. It was evident that Jennie spent a lot of time tailoring our ceremony to uniquely represent our relationship. One incredible asset of Jennie’s is that she has experience as a theater stage manager. Because Jennie has experience as a stage manager, she has a great stage presence and lots of knowledge about how to stage a performance (which at the end of the day is what a wedding ceremony is). We opted to have Jennie at our rehearsal, and we are so happy that we did. She helped tremendously during the rehearsal to ensure the ceremony would go without a hitch the next day. Jennie did a beautiful job crafting and executing the ceremony and we are so happy she was our officiant. Thank you, Jennie!

She was so full of beautiful ideas of what could be incorporated into the ceremony and showed excitement about our ideas as well. We had been thinking about doing a handfasting ceremony, and Jennie’s genuine excitement about the idea and her description of how she loves to do it sold us on it. We also knew we wanted to incorporate our families in the ceremony as well, and Jennie was able to write a ceremony where their participation was natural and wonderful.

Jennie was easily available during the whole process as we had questions and she kept checking in on us through the process until we got our marriage license back. real gift is taking the responses that collects from the couple and weaving them into the ceremony in a way that creates the tone the couple desires, which for us was warm, loving, serious yet light. During the ceremony, we all laughed at times and cried (happy tears) because Jennie's delivery is just so amazing. process. In the beginning we found out some alarming news regarding my dad and thought we’d have to cancel our wedding or do a private ceremony. Jennie checked in often to see how my dad was doing and just to let me know she was thinking of me. She is genuinely sweet!
Our ceremony was remarkable! So many people complimented how beautiful it was and even said it was the most beautiful ceremony they’ve been to. We highly recommend Jennie to be your officiant.

ve in her calls with us leading up to the ceremony. She took a lot of care to make our ceremony special to us. Our wedding was a bit unconventional and Jennie was very accommodating and considerate. She wrote an amazing ceremony for us that was beautiful and sentimental. She even printed out our vows on special paper so that we had one less thing to worry about on our big day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony and we highly recommend Jennie if you're getting hitched!

She really cares about making your ceremony a reflection of the love between you and your partner and made the process so stress-free! We added a handfasting to our ceremony, and let me tell you, our guests could not stop commenting on how awesome it was. Our wedding ceremony was exactly what we imagined. Jennie also made our lives so much easier by sending our marriage application via certified mail the day after the wedding! You definitely won't regret using Jennie as your wedding officiant.

res. We made several edits and adjustments along the way, and by the time we got to our wedding day, our ceremony was PERFECT in every way. We got a lot of compliments about how our ceremony blended the traditional elements of a marriage ceremony and also was unique and true to who we are, too. Jennie truly takes the time to understand what you want and makes sure that couples are 100% satisfied with their ceremony. After our wedding, Jennie took care of all the paperwork and we received our marriage certificate in the mail a couple weeks later. You will love working with her!!!

We did a hand fasting and planting ritual (she offered many suggestions to include our children in our ceremony and we chose the planting ritual). She was extremely thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable, and even provided us with special memorabilia of our wedding script (which she personally created by the way)! I would highly recommend free bird ceremonies to anyone in need of an officiant! 10 stars.
