Galaxy DJs and Lighting

DJ Frenchie is a true professional! She played to the entire audience and kept the dance party going all night. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Galaxy DJs did a great job coordinating all of our music and introductions and had fun lighting for in the evening!

I was very excited to have Galaxy DJs as our DJ for our wedding, but then covid hit. We postponed once, then the state banned weddings, so we postponed again, this time to 2021. With covid still very much going on, we just can't put ourselves through emotional rollercoaster of planning a wedding in a pandemic again, so we've cancelled. When we asked for a refund, we were told we couldn't have one because we'd gotten legally married on our own and it was no longer Galaxy DJ's responsibility. Since when does my marital status impact a refund policy?! I would understand wanting to keep the non-refundable deposit, as many vendors have, but giving us a 0% refund is outrageous and does not equal the value of the services provided (a handful of phone calls and one walk-through). They offered us "Galaxy Credits" to use on a future event, which A. why would I want to work with this unreasonable company again, B. after a wedding, what sort of big events to people throw? I doubt they'll still be a company come our 50th anniversary... & C. we no longer live in the state. I work in the wedding industry and understand the impact covid has had on it and other events, but this is truly unreasonable.

DJ Frenchie was the biggest hit at my wedding. I had a smallish backyard wedding and I was unsure if I even needed a DJ. I decided to do it, and found DJ Frenchie through The Knot's vendor list, almost completely randomly. She was the first to respond and after a brief phone call, I knew I made the right decision. I had no plan for music and DJ Frenchie broke down the wedding/reception and suggested music for each 'activity'. Not only did she have a great set list, endless song option and a great system, but she was also one of the funnest guests at my wedding; dancing with other guests, mingling and getting to know people and becoming all the children's best friend on the trampoline. DJ Frenchie was prepared and had all the necessary equipment to have a ceremony on one side of the yard and the dance floor on the other. Everything worked out way better than I could have imagined. Super fun. Super professional.
