Grant was an amazing Dj and was extremely attentive to what we needed for our wedding. His curation of our music choices and working on the fly at the event was great. He was extremely respectful to our schedule and space. He created an amazing vibe that couldn't be beat. We loved the napkin cheer especially and definitely recommend it for any wedding Grant plays at. Overall, we were extremely pleased with Grant and would recommend him to anyone holding events in the Chicago area.

Grant was excellent every step of the way in making sure our wedding's audio needs were perfectly executed. He was easy to work with when we had a couple planning hiccups (first postponement and then some weather-related adjustments the day of). He smoothly integrated the songs we requested during each stage of our wedding with his own judgement to fill the gaps. We felt like the audio experience for the music, speeches, and ceremony could not have gone better. Highly recommend.

So it’s literally the day after our wedding but I felt super inclined to write a review for Grant Gannon. He KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! I was honestly so impressed. The timing of the music for our ceremony was perfect. Transitions were amazing. Everything was so organized! Communication throughout planning was super easy and he was amazing and flexible to work with. He definitely read the crowd of our guests and kept people on their feet. I 11/10 recommend!! Thanks so much Grant!!

I had the pleasure to have Grant as the DJ on my wedding. Everything was perfect. During the planning/preparation phase, he was always flexible and receptive to all our suggestions and requirements. He was on top of every single detail. The day of the wedding his whole team arrived on time. Perfect lighting, environment, hora loca show and amazing music selection/mix. The quality of the sound/audio is sooooo good!!!! Grant followed our timelines perfectly. We had so much fun. I definitely recommend him and his team.

Grant was amazing! I’m so happy we chose him as our DJ for our wedding. He was so organized with a timeline for every part of the wedding and helped us with choosing the perfect songs. He is also very entertaining and made sure to keep us dancing all night. I will definitely use him again for future events and would highly recommend Grant to anyone!

Grant made our wedding super fun! He really cares about your necessities and listed to every detail, we also had lights and the photobooth and everybody loved it! we couldn't stop dancing so we had him for 2 extra hours! book him now!!!

Grant is so great to work with! I love that he works with you to provide the atmosphere you desire for your event! I had several long conversations with him discussing the music I wanted at my wedding. You can even make playlists on Spotify for cocktail hour or dinner and he will use them. Our dance party had every single song we wanted to party to and more! He was also careful not to play music we didn’t want to hear. We loved everything about him.

If you are wondering whether you should book Grant for your event, you are wasting time! Grant made my wedding unforgettable. I was surprised at how much fun our family was having. The moment the party started until the very last minute when staff was taking linen off tables, my family was dancing. Grant also provides bistro lights, dance floor, and photo booth. I never had to stress about any of the other vendors he managed, he just got it done. He was always clear about pricing with no surprises. Talking to him on the phone was always easy when I had a hundred questions, compared to other DJ’s that sounded rushed. We are so happy with Grant!

My wife and I were super excited that we were able to book our wedding with Gannon Events. From the moment we first spoke, Grant was super helpful and supportive of the whole process. He had workable and easy music selection notes, and fully customizable templates to make sure we had a great time. Grant knew exactly what we wanted and supported his word when the wedding day arrived. On the day I saw Grant with a huge smile and he made himself at home. He was secure of his equipment and made sure safety was a priority. The audience loved it, we had so many people come up to my wife and I saying how great the party was. The mood and vibe that Grant set and work ethic were astonishing. Definitely recommend anyone to work with him.

Gannon Events helped us out tremendously for our wedding! Not only did Grant work with us to provide the music, but he worked with the hotel to organize the timeline and used his internal network to supply the exact chairs we wanted for the ceremony. We had an amazing wedding, and he played a huge role in it!

I hired Grant of Gannon Events for my son's rehearsal dinner we did on a yacht. I did an extensive research on DJs, and heard all the "spiel" of each one, read many reviews and I simply wasn't comfortable with their stories or reference videos which did not reflect any sort of uniqueness or any thing worth highlighting, and do i simply moved on to the next. That is until I got to Grant of Gannon Events. From first email and following conversations, I realized he is the man for my event. He worked with me tirelessly on the packages and extras and was extremely helpful in any way to make me part of the process and to make me comfortable with the choice I wanted to make. Grant accommodated EVERY request I had, from packages, extra lighting, extra sound system for the upper deck and even songs that I literally was still sending requests to him on the day of the event! Grant was extremely adaptive to schedule onstraintes, changes on the fly and most importantly, he played the kind of music I requested. You could not have asked for anything better! I've read reviews of other DJs basically denying requests and getting into altercations with guests!! Nothing like that in my event. I was extremely pleased and would recommend Gannon Events to anyone without any hesitation.

So happy my husband and I went with Grant for our wedding. I'm sure we were not the easiest of clients with a lot of opinions, last minute decisions and an nontraditional music choices - but you'd never know it with how smoothly everything went the day of the wedding. Grant is fantastic and I can't wait to book him again for another event that warrants a DJ!

Working with Grant as the DJ for our wedding was wonderful. We were planning a destination wedding, so I was a little nervous about how to find and hire a DJ without meeting them in person first, but these concerns were eased upon the first phone call I had with Grant. He placed a very high priority on getting to have an in depth conversation over the phone about my (now!) husband and I and the type of couple we were and the type of event we were looking for when it came to our wedding. We talked for almost an hour about this before we even got into packages and pricing, etc. Since it's so typical to do all of this via email now, it was refreshing to be signing on to work with someone who valued that in-person connection. He even drove down to meet us when we flew to FL a few months before our wedding to do some other planning obligations. As for the wedding itself, we couldn't have been happier. It's obvious that Grant is comfortable as an MC, and that he has fun with his work which really sets the tone for how a night will go. We were a smaller group (about 50, including a handful of little kids) and he did a great job of managing the flow of the night and keeping people dancing all night long. He took our suggestions (I'll admit, we didn't have a ton of them), the guests requests, and then kept on playing songs that people were having fun with, which is everything I could ask for. I would definitely recommend him to someone looking for a fun, personable professional for an event. Thanks again Grant!

Grant Gannon was the highlight of our wedding reception!! His gift for music and as an entertaining host kept everyone excited and engaged. We had such a fun time!! He played piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then made the quick switch to becoming our DJ for our reception. Grant is friendly, communicative, organized, and is willing to go above and beyond to make the event fun and unique. He is so easy to work with, and really cares about his clients’ vision. You made our wedding day so fun and memorable for our friends and family. Thank you so much Grant!!

We were so relieved to have found Grant. Not only he was very accomodating to the limitations of the venue and made everything work wonderfully, he was also very perceptive of song suggestions and tailored the music choice to our likings. Our guests were out on the dance floor the whole time and everybody had a great time. Also, he can make annoucements in both english and spanish, which was important to us. Grant did an awesome job at my wedding. He is very professional, from the beginning he took the time to personally meet, he answered every text and email on a very timely manner. I was a bit skeptical because my wedding was a joining of two cultures: Latin and Indian(Caribbean Islander) he was was to incorporate the different genres of music smoothly, everyone commented about how great the music was. He is highly recommended.

Gannon Studios was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning, the service and attention was spot on. Grant, made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted by meeting with us personally and connecting with us by phone call on multiple occasions that we asked for. The timeline that he provided us and worked through with us on really made sure we got what we wanted, and so that everyone from our minister to our cocktail hour to our reception was on point with timing and the feel we wanted. Grant nailed it on the head on the day of our wedding. He was on point with the timing, and the songs we requested for the ceremony, and had everyone, young and old, enjoying the dancing and really having a good time. We had a specific feel we were going for and Grant made every effort to ensure he knew what we wanted and it showed, because we were definitely NOT disappointed! We loved working with Grant, he made our wedding such a night to remember, we would recommend him to anyone! Gannon Events is the way to go!

I had the pleasure of working with them at two of my recent events and they were professional, very friendly, and always kept everyone moving and enjoying themselves! DJ Grant could read the crowd (SUPER important for a DJ) and continuously adjusted the music to fit the vibe. I enjoy working with them and am looking forward to future events together!

Grant is a total professional but also is down to earth and a very nice guy. He is someone you can work with for any event and made our wedding the perfect event. Grant did an excellent job as our wedding dj. He want on time, professional, and did everything we asked him too. He provided all his own equipment and had a good mix of music. All went according to plan. He was able to edit a few songs so they worked with the wedding plans. The whole night was a success and grant did a very good job.
