During the ceremony Jane forgot that the bride and groom were doing a sand ceremony and that they wrote their own vows. The maid of honor stepped in and told her about the vows, which they read after they were pronounced husband and wife. At the reception, she yelled at the bridal party before they were announced and I also heard from many guests that Jane made very rude comments when she can around to dismiss tables for dinner. She was very controlling and did not create a fun and loving atmosphere.

ful. The day we met them we instantly felt a connection and felt very comfortable. They invited us over to their home to let us know everything that had to offer. Then about two months before our wedding we went over to their house again. We went over our whole ceremony. Jane is ordained, she was actually the one who married my husband and I too. She made the ceremony special just for us. The ceremony was very sweet, authentic, romantic, funny, and cute. She printed off the whole ceremony word for word so we can treasure it forever. We got married in a non demoninational church, but weren't looking for a very religious type of ceremony so it was great she customized everything to our needs on the big day. We picked out all the music we wanted for both the ceremony and reception. And went over how we wanted to walk into our reception. They both had great ideas, that not many people take the time to go over from the ceremony, to everything that goes into a wedding reception. They both love what they do and truly care about their clients. Rodney and Jane were the life of the party and made the day so much fun, relaxing and easy! Some vendors can be very bossy and controlling, as I have seen at friends weddings in the past. But with these two, they made our day stress free. They both have an awesome sense of humor so they had everyone laughing throughout both days. They also came out to the church the day before our wedding when we did our the rehearsal. All of our friends and family that came out on our special day said it has been one of the best weddings they have ever been to. That is such a compliment, it brings tears to my eyes. The music that they played was great for all ages. I've never seen so many people on a dance floor in my life. They both had a great idea to get everyone on the dance floor after we did the bouquet/garter toss. They played all the music we told them we wanted to be played. And then they also took requests too, so our guests were able to listen and dance to songs they liked. From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I and my whole family thank you both! Our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near this fun without you two!! When we were unsure of what we wanted, they had 'most populars' ready to play for our choosing. They figured us out and brainstormed the perfect songs to fit us. But what about the day of? Seemless from beginning to end. They kept our wedding party in check and on time. At the reception, they had blow up props that my husband and guests had a blast using. When I wasn't present for one of my must plays songs, they waited for me to arrive before playing it. They took requests from our guests and our guests loved it! At the end of the night they gave us a wonderful keepsake. Our day would not have been the same without them.

They were out on the dance floor themselves enjoying the music and the excitement of our night and pulled out some great inflatable guitars and microphones to add to the fun! Jane, being a seamstress as well, pulled me aside to add a small bustle to my dress to keep me from stepping on it when I danced. We had a blast and had several compliments from our guests about our awesome DJ's.

He played a wide variety of music and also played guest requests. Jane also officiated our wedding and it was awesome. It was very positive and upbeat and several guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Jane & Rodney are preferred vendors at Starved Rock and now I know why, because they know what they are doing. They are very reasonably priced and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ and officiant.
