This review is LONG overdue, but I wanted to make sure I came on here and gave Yessenia the review she deserves. Hiring Yessenia was by far the single best decision I made for our wedding. She made sure everything went so smoothly and that i di...dn't have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. Since I was planning our wedding from Boston, it was assuring to know that I would have some extra assistance on the wedding day, should I need it. And, let me tell you.... I needed it. To start, Yessenia handled the entire rehearsal. She did a fantastic job corralling my (very loud and obnoxious) family and getting everyone to their correct positions. She also walked through the songs with me and listened for the best time for me and my dad to walk down the aisle with the timing of the song, since I wanted to make sure the chorus was played. On the day of the wedding, she was there bright and early, and she took control of all the "things" so that I didn't have to think about them. You know, all the little stuff like place cards, card box, guest book, signs, decorations, literally dozens and dozens of candles.... During my best friend's wedding, after we all got ready, we had to spend two hours setting all that stuff up, which was such a buzz kill. It was SO great not having to deal with any of that and just handing it all to Yessenia with pictures of what I wanted. And the BEST part of it all was that Yessenia and her assistant packed everything up at the end of the night so that we could go to a bar and enjoy the after party!!! I've been to so many weddings where the bride and groom are an hour late to their own after party because they had to deal with all the stuff after the reception ended. No thank you! The other great thing that she dealt with was coordinating all the vendors - their arrival time, where they would unload everything, dealing with their parking, etc. She was on the phone with them weeks before the wedding, which is the MOST stressful time for the bride, so the fact that I didn't have to coordinate any of that was just incredible! And if you're STILL on the fence about hiring her, let me tell you how she literally saved the day when our late night food didn't arrive. We had scheduled $1,000 worth of Portillo's hot dogs and beef sandwiches to show up at 10:30pm for all us drunk folks, and I had spoken to the manager at Portillo's months beforehand and paid for everything up front. Well, the food never came... And Yessenia called the manager over and over again with no response. So she literally got in an Uber and went to Portillo's herself and ordered 100 hot dogs and beef sandwiches and brought it back to the wedding venue. I had ZERO idea that all of this was happening, which is the point of having a day-of coordinator. They deal with all the BS so that you can enjoy your wedding day and not worry about all the little things that go wrong (because trust me, things WILL go wrong). She seriously saved the day. And on top of all of this, she is the sweetest, cutest woman ever and had an amazingly calm vibe that just made me feel so at ease on my wedding day. You will not regret your decision to hire her!
