I cannot recommend Yessenia enough! She truly is amazing! From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. My husband was against hiring a wedding coordinator but after working with Yessenia he can not recommend her enough!! She is extremely professional and makes you feel like she is part of the family. The day of the wedding my sign did not come in on time. Yessenia was able to get order one and get it on time right before the wedding. The church went 30-40 mins longer than planned and we ended up having more guest then expected but she took care of everything. She truly made the day sooo stress free. If you want a wedding planner who is not only professional but also deeply caring, Yessenia is the one! She truly made this day extremely special for us!

Yessenia was very professional and super friendly. Initially, we hired GME for our whole wedding but as things changed, unfortunately I had to cancel their services for the reception. We still had her for the ceremony and Yessenia was amazing. I couldn’t imagine having our rehearsal and ceremony without Yessenia because she made everything flow perfectly. She took a lot of stress away from me by just being there and reassuring me. If I could do it all over again, I would 100% have GME over and over again for our day of coordinator because they just make everything better.

Yessenia and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! Our day was absolutely perfect, and it was all to the great work of Gold Mine Events. Yessenia handled the final vendor calls and created our timeline to ensure everyone was on the same page. On the day of, she was so attentive to me and my needs. I am a bride who is very stern on what she wants, and she was the one who executed that for me. Her team set up my decor and it was exactly as I outlined - they even made it better than I imagined when I asked for them to put their own touch to some of the tables. 10/10. I highly recommend!

Incredible! Going into wedding planning, I knew I wanted a day of planner to help keep everything on time and in order. That's exactly what Yessenia does plus WAAAAYYY more! From our very first zoom call I knew she was who I would hire. She's so incredibly kind and crazy organized! She asked questions to details I didn't even think of! Yessenia planned all the calls with all our vendors to make sure everything we wanted was executed perfectly! You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples and wants us to be happy. You would be silly not to hire her! She's also incredibly calm! Right before I walked down the aisle a guest arrived late. Yessenia was such an amazing and integral part of our wedding. We worked with her as our day-of coordinator after we had secured most of our vendors and other details. We had been on the fence about whether we’d hire a coordinator, but after our first call with Yessenia we were absolutely convinced that she would be an invaluable asset to our wedding. She asked us so many helpful questions, handled logistics, confirmed details with vendors, and walked us through our rehearsal. On the day of our wedding, she checked in regularly and got everything set up at our venue. We didn’t have to worry about a thing: she made sure we got to eat, brought us drinks when we were rushing around to do pictures, and anticipated every little detail. When the night wrapped up, she made sure we had all of our personal items packed and accounted for. All of our vendors, wedding party, and guests commented on how sweet and helpful she was throughout the night. We are so grateful we found Gold Mine Events, because Yessenia totally takes the gold.

Yessenia was wonderful to work with!! We hired her about a month before the wedding and she was a HUGE help! I am so glad we were able to work with her, she made our day so much easier for my husband and I. She was on top of all the organization that went into the wedding and she executed it greatly. Hiring Yessenia Mina was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Trust me, hire her right away! Yessenia was there to guide us through the planning process, connected us with other wonderful vendors, and was there for every detail on the day of the wedding. I am pretty sure she is a mind reader too… At one point during the wedding night, I wanted to change shoes from my heels to my comfortable shoes. I stepped out of the ballroom and, without me asking , she brought me my comfortable shoes! I would not have been able to survive the wedding planning process and the wedding day without Yessenia. Gold Mine Events is it, book them! Originally, I had wanted a day of coordinator for help with set up and tear down -- Yessenia provided SO much more than that. She went above and beyond, helping me secure a wedding arch (even set it up herself!) and gave important feedback to my vision. She coordinated calls with all my vendors to ensure we were all on the same page. She attended the walk through and ran the show at the rehearsal. There every step of the way. She encompasses everything you want in a coordinator: the sweetest, kindest human, but can bring the heat when something needs to get done, I loved it! All my friends and family commented on how amazing she was. She is organized, quick to solve a problem, and professional. You can she how passionate she is. Yessenia is such a breath of fresh air and booking her was the best decision. I am lucky to have found her.

I hired Goldmine events after realizing how much time wedding planning would take. Yessenia the owner worked with me from the beginning. She recommended great vendors and made suggestions about things throughout the planning I had not even thought of. She helped our vision of a movie theme wedding come to life. To summarize how amazing Gold Mine Events was throughout our wedding planning and wedding day is going to be difficult because words can’t even describe how thankful I am for Yessenia. I was one of those brides that thought I wouldn’t need any assistance for my wedding … after meeting Yessenia, I knew I needed her! What a kind, sweet soul Yessi is. She went above and beyond for us on our wedding day!! She was always there when it was overwhelming, making sure I was ok. Yessenia is detail-oriented, flexible, organized and personable. She made my wedding day so effortless, I literally did not have to worry about a single thing. By far, Gold Mine Events was the best decision we made for our wedding!

This review is LONG overdue, but I wanted to make sure I came on here and gave Yessenia the review she deserves. Hiring Yessenia was by far the single best decision I made for our wedding. She made sure everything went so smoothly and that i didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. Since I was planning our wedding from Boston, it was assuring to know that I would have some extra assistance on the wedding day, should I need it. And, let me tell you.... I needed it. To start, Yessenia handled the entire rehearsal. She did a fantastic job corralling my (very loud and obnoxious) family and getting everyone to their correct positions. She also walked through the songs with me and listened for the best time for me and my dad to walk down the aisle with the timing of the song, since I wanted to make sure the chorus was played. On the day of the wedding, she was there bright and early, and she took control of all the "things" so that I didn't have to think about them. You know, all the little stuff like place cards, card box, guest book, signs, decorations, literally dozens and dozens of candles.... During my best friend's wedding, after we all got ready, we had to spend two hours setting all that stuff up, which was such a buzz kill. It was SO great not having to deal with any of that and just handing it all to Yessenia with pictures of what I wanted. And the BEST part of it all was that Yessenia and her assistant packed everything up at the end of the night so that we could go to a bar and enjoy the after party!!! I've been to so many weddings where the bride and groom are an hour late to their own after party because they had to deal with all the stuff after the reception ended. No thank you! The other great thing that she dealt with was coordinating all the vendors - their arrival time, where they would unload everything, dealing with their parking, etc. She was on the phone with them weeks before the wedding, which is the MOST stressful time for the bride, so the fact that I didn't have to coordinate any of that was just incredible! And if you're STILL on the fence about hiring her, let me tell you how she literally saved the day when our late night food didn't arrive. We had scheduled $1,000 worth of Portillo's hot dogs and beef sandwiches to show up at 10:30pm for all us drunk folks, and I had spoken to the manager at Portillo's months beforehand and paid for everything up front. Well, the food never came... And Yessenia called the manager over and over again with no response. So she literally got in an Uber and went to Portillo's herself and ordered 100 hot dogs and beef sandwiches and brought it back to the wedding venue. I had ZERO idea that all of this was happening, which is the point of having a day-of coordinator. They deal with all the BS so that you can enjoy your wedding day and not worry about all the little things that go wrong (because trust me, things WILL go wrong). She seriously saved the day. And on top of all of this, she is the sweetest, cutest woman ever and had an amazingly calm vibe that just made me feel so at ease on my wedding day. You will not regret your decision to hire her!

BRIDE BEWARE  If I could give her zero stars, I absolutely would.  My overall experience with Yessenia/GME event was horrible.  I was referred to her through a colleague that I work with.   I reached out to her and everything appeared to be fine until it was time to discuss the proposed contract.  The proposed contract was very one-sided and contained several items that were not relevant to what we discussed initially.   A major term of the contract was that if you you cancel for ANY REASON (whether her company caused the reason for you to cancel them) you still have to pay.  I initially spoke with her about items like the one mentioned above that are contained in her contract.  She explained that she understood and would get back to me with changes.  This was on October 4, 2019.  On November 20, 2019, she finally responded to me.  It took her over a  month to finally get back to me and I had to send a follow up email to receive a response from her. I should have took that as a sign. She did apologize for the delay . However, her response was very nasty towards me.  She even told me that "the relationship she seek to acquire is one that absolutely trust her expertise."  She wants me to trust her wholeheartedly but she doesn't trust me at all.  Against my better judgment, I wanted to see if she was a stand up person by holding her end of the bargain so I sent her an additional email Nov. 20th detailing what we initially discussed and asked her to add an addendum to contract.  She never responded to my email.  I would have some respect for her if she would have simply said NO to the email and told me upfront that her terrible contract is as is.  If she did that I would not have wasted my time writing this review because I have respect for people who are upfront with me.   GME wasted my time that I could have spent searching for another wedding coordinator. GME is very unprofessional. I would never recommend her or her company to anyone.  Please read the terms of the contract and not sign anything which is what this contract is.  Trash.  BRIDE BEWARE! Response to gme; The clause that you refer to does not have a stipulation that states assuming that you have fulfilled all the responsibilities outlined on the very first page. The contract reads that if you cancel for any reason that you must continue to pay. Contracts will be interpreted on its four corners should a disagreement arise. Meaning the fact that you are now stating assuming that you have fulfilled your end of the contract will not be taken into consideration unless it is STATED/WRITTEN in the contact. I actually have a wedding planner and asked other women that had a wedding planner about your cancellation clause. They did not have a clause that if you cancel for any reason that you still have to make your payments. In fact, when I showed them what you stated in your contract they cringed like I did when I read it. What is standard is a consequential damages clause not a cancellation clause that states if you cancel for any reason you still have to make payments. Asking someone to trust you but you don't trust them is very disingenuous. It is fine to stand by whatever you like but please be upfront and honest about what you require. You only stated what you require when I questioned your terms to your one-sided contract. If you would have been upfront, I would have so much more respect for you as a person and a business. Best of luck. Bride beware.

We had a fantastic experience working with Yessenia as our Day of Coordinator at Gold Mine Events! We greatly appreciated her attention to detail and organization throughout the process. She had EVERYTHING we needed for the day (a huge basket filled with things like a toothbrush, granola bars, deodorant, etc), made sure that we were nourished with food/water and had a drink in our hands when necessary. I always like to be on time/ahead of schedule and she made sure of that--without causing us any stress! Greatly appreciated having her connect with our vendors/bridal party/family to make sure everything was going to go as planned on the big day. Thank you so much!

The best decision was to hire Yesenia Mina (Gold Mine Events) our wedding planner. I was not convinced as this would be an arditional cost but when I spoke to yesenia and started talking explained what I wanted and expected seemed as she understood everything I was looking for but on our special day it was even greater then I expected as I worried about nothing Yesenia and her assistant were wonderful and A Wonderful event for our family, friends and especially for us. Thank you and I am very great full from our first interaction.

Yessenia was a huge blessing in our wedding. When we went over the details for our event she brought up things I hadnt even thought of. She made sure to make my vision come true with setting up for the reception and making sure I was calm all through the day. Im used to always being in charge and making sure everything goes smoothly but for one night I got to take a backseat. All my guests couldnt stop talking about what a perfect night it was. If it wasnt for her, I doubt the outcome wouldve been the same. Do yourself a favor and hire Yessenia to have an incredible wedding!

Yessenia and her assistant were there every step of the day of my wedding. She also ran my rehearsal, met with my fiance and I and was there for us during our final walkthrough at the venue, brought up important details that I had forgotten to ask, and in general was very attentive and organized. She dealt with several issues on the day of my wedding so that I did not have to worry about anything, including sound issues and certain guests that did not RSVP and then just showed up. She found a seat for everyone and was the contact person so that I could just enjoy my day and not be stressed. I could not recommend her more!

Yessenia was FANTASTIC!!! Honestly, I had no idea what to expect, seeing as how I have never been married or planned a wedding before. Yessy thought of things I would never have thought of. Yessenia is amazing! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was definitely because of all the extra hard work Yessenia put into our day. She not only made sure all of our vendors were doing what they were supposed to be doing, she also made sure we had everything we needed. We found Yessenia on the Knot three weeks before our wedding. My Fiance and I had planned every detail for the day of our wedding but we were very overwhelmed and tired, thus we decided to hire a day of coordinator in order to enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about the little details. Having Yessenia from Gold Mine events coordinate our wedding was the best decision ever. Yessenia was there for us the day of the rehearsal, she was always part of our phone call with our vendors helping us make decisions, but most importantly she showed up on the day of the wedding as soon as the venue opened its doors and didn't leave until the last guest left the party. Yessenia had everything under control and was able to give us a stress free wedding.

Let me start by saying THANK YOU very much for the ease and peace of mind I experienced on my big wedding day. At first I didn't feel it was necessary to book a wedding planner but I later found out I was wrong! Yessenia was exceptionally helpful in every way. She gave me lots of ideas and I was able to collaborate my ideas with her which was something I could really appreciate. She provided contacts to florists, photographers, videographers, etc. The day of your wedding is meant to be enjoyed and should be nothing but pleasant. I'd never considered hiring a wedding planner, I always pictured doing all the planning myself but when my husband and I got engaged, Yessenia was highly recommended by a friend. When we contacted Yessenia to set up a meeting, we still weren't sure we wanted to hire a wedding planner but when we met her, we knew we had to have her! During the planning process, Yessenia maintained great communication, very responsive, and was always ready to go above and beyond what was asked of her. Yessenia always made us feel at ease with the process. I'll never forget, during one of the most stressful parts of the planning with one of our vendors when she noticed how concerned we were, she said to me, "You don't stress, it's my job to worry about this for you. Just leave it to me." I don't think she knew just how comforting it was to hear that reassurance in that moment. After planning with her for a year and getting to know how reliable and trustworthy she is, I had no doubt she would run the day of successfully but she really impressed us! She made sure everything ran smoothly, always thinking ahead, she communicated well with everyone (guests, vendors, family), and made sure my husband and I had nothing to worry about except to enjoy our day. There were many times during the planning, and day of especially, that I thought to myself, 'we couldn't have done it the way we did without her.' We were so THANKFUL for Gold Mine Events that stepped in and did everything for our reception! I told them the color scheme, answered a few questions and they did everything else! Center pieces, table linens, setting up our wine that we had for guests as they left, our favor table, wishing well they did all of it! I was so happy with the results! Yessenia is a very warm individual who truly cares about her client's experience, and she made it her sole purpose to concoct the wedding of my dreams and I couldn't be more thankful. She understood my vision, and created my ideal wedding all within my budget. Throughout the planning process Yessenia was always available to help, offer suggestions, and act as a liaison between my now husband and I and our vendors. It was a comfort to know that Yessenia was there on the day of our wedding to make sure that everything went smoothly despite a couple minor hiccups (people unexpectedly bringing dates). I obtained Gold Mine Event Coordinator, Yessenia Mina as my day of coordinator. She is truly the best! The day of my wedding went absolutely smoothly, thanks to her and her assistant. She made me feel reassured that she would handle any issues if they had arise. She took care of all the minor details that I was not able to. She communicated well and made me feel at ease and relaxed the whole day. She made sure the groom and I were relaxed and enjoying our day. The day definitely went great thanks to her hard work!
