The food was delicious and we had an overall great experience the day of our wedding. We initially had no issues with communication but as we got closer to our wedding we did find ourselves having slight difficulty getting last minute details ironed out. We did wind up having everything as we wanted for our wedding day!
The food was delicious and the service staff the day of our wedding was amazing! We had a min of hiccups with our linens not being noted when we picked them out but other than that everything was perfect. The linens delivered were perfect, the owner went above and beyond to have what we needed, and so many people have complimented the food!!! Highly recommend them!!
Got it Covered Events was our caterer for our wedding this past weekend and they did a great job! We had a seated/plated dinner and got the silver package with them. The food was great, they were on time and the service was great! We would choose them over and over again for many reasons: their excellent communication, good prices and their flexibility.

Me and my fiancé made the mistake of signing a contract with Got it covered in September this year. We were initially impressed with their reviews and low prices and how much you got for what you paid. However, after learning this week that they were banned from serving at our wedding venue due to some issues that unfolded, we quickly realized their lack of integrity. I called Martha to request a refund and was quickly met with a refusal to refund us and claims that we should be the ones to pay her in full for the services not rendered. We've consulted with several lawyers who all state that we were entitled to rescission since Got it Covered was unable to fulfill their contract due to circumstances that were not reasonably anticipated at the time of signing the contract. Even still, she claimed that her contract stated no cancellations for any reason. Unfortunately, this will not stand well with the courts. There is an impossibility for performance, which entitles us to a refund regardless of what is stated in the contract. Impossibility is grounds to rescind the contract based on the law and supersedes everything else. I will send a certified letter requesting a refund due to this business's lack of accountability and willingness to make it right with the customer. Brides, it's not worth giving your business to a company that lacks integrity, even if you save a little more money. Spending money on a company that acts ethically and in good faith is better and will save you the stress in unprecedented situations like this.
The Got It Covered team was great from the very start with the tasting all the way to the end of our wedding. The team was very welcoming and the food was delicious! They were very helpful throughout our whole wedding planning process. They were there early to set up and stayed late to clean up after the wedding was over. They really "got it covered" as they provided napkins, dishes, bar glasses, etc. Would use them again and again if we could - highly recommend!
Absolutely the best service one can expect and the food was amazing. Many of our guests when out of their way to let us know the food was great. We wanted the food to be memorable, not just required part of the wedding. Memorable it was. Great food is even better when it's delivered with great service. Got It Covered did an absolutely wonderful job at our daughter’s wedding. Their food is delicious! The guests at the wedding overwhelmingly complimented the meal. Ila and her team were extremely professional and really paid attention to detail. Communication with them was wonderful and they are very knowledgeable. They are very flexible. The quality of their food was amazing!
We were very pleased with Got It Covered. They had multiple packages to fit different budgets and also had gluten free options for our guests. After our first meeting they presented us with a binder showing everything they offered. They were kind enough to give us feedback on some of our preferences. A few times we let them know what we wanted, and they let us know that it was not something they would recommend - we found this very helpful! They brought a lot of experience to the table and helped us be mindful of things we had not considered.
We hired Got it Covered for our wedding catering. They had great packages and prices for a sit down dinner. Sometimes the communication was slow but they did always get back to me. They offer great discounts if you book after your tasting and allowed me to come in multiple times when I wanted to check my decorations with the table settings. I did do a lot of changes on my end and sometimes it took awhile before I felt confident that all the changes were correct but we always got there and they are so kind! Food was great and definitely recommend.
Got it Covered has catered all of our big family events and they never disappoint! They recently catered our rehearsal dinner and our wedding dinner, and it was nothing short of perfection. We love Got it Covered because they provide such a wide verity of food without compromising quality. Between our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner we had a range from Italian food and steak to seafood and Mexican food and it was all delicious! Everyone on the team is professional and efficient, which made our day run smoothly. They also did our linens for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and they completely transformed our venue space into a fairytale setting! I cannot recommend Got it Covered enough!
Best food Ever!! The food we choice we would do it again.
The food at our wedding was soo good! We had tons of compliments throughout the night. We also rented black round table linens and gold silverware. Their office location is very far from us so picking up the linens a day early for our florist to decorate was a little inconvenient, but not the worst thing in the world. They gave us the wrong black linens so the next day we met half way with them to grab the rounds, which again isn’t the end of the world at all just a minor inconvenience. Their food was really good, but probably my favorite thing from booking them was their clear and informative email to begin the process. They lay it all out for you so you’re not guessing about what’s included or what isn’t, what pricing is, etc. All the information was there and I really appreciated it because it was almost like pulling teeth with the other caterers to get that information. We also had the late night taco snack and they were absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend Got It Covered.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ila and her team at Got It Covered Events did a wonderful job with the catering - all the food was delicious. She was easy to work with and exceeded our expectations in every way! Would hire her again in a heartbeat.
From the start Got it Covered was straightforward and went over the whole process with us. They also recommended our wonderful Day of Coordinator Tracy and I couldn’t thank them enough for that!! The food was incredibly delicious and we got many compliments that it was the best catering food they ever had. With Got It Covered, if you choose to them for catering they give you an added option and we chose the street tacos. The street tacos were a huge hit at the wedding and everyone loved it!! I would recommend Got it Covered to anyone that needed catering!
Have absolutely nothing negative to say about Martha and her team. The tastings were fantastic and her team was super accommodating to all our guests on the day of. Everyone continues to rant about the food at our wedding, including ourselves. The watermelon salad, delicious. The filet mignon, decadent. Street tacos, out of this world. Truly everything that they served left you completely satisfied and craving more.
The food at our wedding was so good! Our guests were talking about it days after. Martha and her team were very communicative and worked hard to make sure our menu reflected what we wanted. She was flexible when we made changes and answered whatever questions we had. Highly recommend!
Diana at got it covered events is a complete life saver! My linen vendor fell through last minute and I needed linens in just two weeks. I called got it covered and unlike other companies who made me hopeless Diana calmed me down and I had a quote next day and she was actually able to give me options to choose from. She was super responsive and answered all of my questions and updated quotes multiple times due to my indecisiveness without any hesitation. I wish I would've found them sooner. They are all so sweet and have the best prices and amazing quality services. I will defintely be using them in a a couple years when its time to start planning for my daughter's quinceanera. Give got it covered a call and ask for Diana. You will not be disappointed.
Got it Covered provided the most gorgeous linens for my wedding! I had been searching all over for this specific shade of green and they had it! It was the perfect pop of color for my wedding!! They have all the colors you can imagine and then some. They are the best for all linen and decor needs and their catering is amazing as well!!
From the tasting to the event, Got It Covered Events was wonderful. Martha was so helpful and knowledgeable about which linens (table cloths and napkins) and chargers would look great at the reception. The food is amazing. Got It Covered made our reception wonderful. All of our guests raved about how wonderful the food was. Got It Covered served chicken parm, stuffed pork tenderloin, salad (dressing was awesome), mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and rolls. The service was top notch. I hope to work with them again. I would actually give them 25 stars. Great food! Great service! Great price!
We had our wedding on October 2021 at The McNay and what a night! Martha and her team were wonderful and the food was amazing! We had a couple tastings to define our menu and she was super accommodating. Definitely a wonderful catering service and would recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and outstanding service.
What a great decision it was to hire Martha and the Got it Covered team for our wedding. From the initial consultation we had at their physical location, they took care of us. The lady we met with listened to all of our questions and concerns. She suggested beautiful linen and table decorations. She even saved us from making a big mistake by asking if we were sure the hall provided floor length linens vs. quarter length (they didn’t!) The Got it Covered team had their fingerprints on every part of our wedding, from the delicious meal to the appetizers, to the design of the hall, to the dessert. Our guests were so impressed with the whole display. We received compliment after compliment about every facet of the meal. The value provided by this company is second to none. Thank you so much; we visited a ton of catering companies, Got it Covered was the best value, by far. We hope your diligence and attention to detail lead to many many more years of success in San Antonio!!

We received so many compliments on the moistness of the meat, the delicious salad, how tasty the sauce was, the expert breading on the pecan chicken, the mashed potatoes were an absolute hit! People were very very happy and so were we! Thank you for going above and beyond by re-filling the donut wall and making the hall look so beautiful with your linens and chair covers - Gorgeous!
Your team was delightful. We definitely didn't expect to see you there all night with your busy schedule but were so grateful you were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. When small challenges happened (as they inevitably do), you stayed calm and handled them like a pro - true leadership. Thanks to you my mom got to relax and enjoy the wedding without stressing over the cake, drinks, and other small details. Like your name says, you really had us covered.
Your team was also very wonderful. We loved the young kid who served us and kept asking if we needed anything. With the stress of the AC breaking it was so nice being greeted by his bright smile. Also, the Got it Covered man who sang for us?? Holy cow!! What a treat!

Got it covered catering was absolutely amazing. So friendly and within our budget for the wedding. They were so easy to work with and the food was absolutely delicious! We got so many complements from our guests. My husband and I are so happy we went with them.
WOW! The food was absolutely amazing for my perfect day and the quality/presentation was amazing! I got several compliments about how the food at my wedding was one of the best! The mac and cheese station and taco station were HUGE hits! I had a lot of ideas and crazy vision and they knocked it out of the park. Definitely would recommend for your perfect wedding!
They truly have Got It Covered!
We hired GIC after family friends had them cater their wedding. Everything was wonderful, from tastings to packed up extras.
Just some small areas for improvement:
Communication among their coordinators, here were some mix ups at our 10 day meeting. Some discrepancies between our coordinator and the caterer meeting and then the bride and caterer meeting.
We ordered one vegan plate, and it did not go to our vegan guest.
Couples tip: make sure someone saves you some of your cocktail food, have those saved items at your table so you can enjoy the food too! We missed out on our corn in a cup, but we heard wonderful feedback!
The tasting/planning process was so easy and everyone at Got It Covered was so straight forward and got the job done! The food was absolutely delicious, we got so many comments that "it was the best wedding food they had ever had". We also rented our linens and napkins from them that were so beautiful. Thank you for making our big day special!!
Their food is incredible! We tried a few options and this was by far the tastiest. We went with the Chicken Diablo and Spinach artichoke tartlet for appetizers. Our main course consisted of the Strawberry salad, Santa Fe chicken, Pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. We got a ton of compliments on the food served, so thank you for keeping our guests fed and happy. The only feedback we got was that people wanted seconds/ bigger portions because the food was so good! And that the appetizers were under served- meaning majority of our guests did not realize there were appetizers during cocktail hour. But, the catering staff was incredible, helpful and very friendly. I even had a few of the catering staff stop us to tell us congratulations, or compliment my dress. I would definitely recommend this company!
Excellent food served by courteous and professional staff. Martha and her staff worked with us prior to the wedding and helped us narrow down best menu and linen selections. They were very responsive and thorough in explaining the options. We received so many compliments on the linen decor! But they hit it out of the park with the food! Starting with strawberry salad, followed with Pecan crusted chicken and Stuffed pork loin covered with delicious sauces, the Best mashed potatoes, and grilled mixed veggies! Delicious food at reasonable prices!
Got it covered was fabulous leading up to and on wedding day. Martha was very helpful and quickly responded if my coordinator and I needed anything. We also got a lot of complements on our food that day! I would highly recommended :)
Food was great all the guests loved it. If you are a vegetarian however I would suggest another company. She did her best to accommodate me and my several veg wedding guests but baked ziti doesn’t scream wedding to me personally. Other wise top notch service well organized vegetables were good and everyone else loved the meat.
Phenomenal service! Our wedding was almost a month ago and my wife and I are still receiving compliments about the food! The steak was of particularly impressive quality, and it was well complemented in display and taste by the chipotle butter flower. Before the wedding, Martha was easy to contact and incredibly helpful with all of our questions. She even helped us with our non-catering questions about other vendors! During the wedding, everything went incredibly smoothly; the staff was always present and ready when we needed them. We served a double entree of cilantro-lime chicken and chipotle butter filet mignon with cilantro rice and a grilled vegetable medley. Everything was delicious, but the filet was definitely the star of the show! We also had a late-night deshebrada street taco station that got a lot of hype and my mother and grandmother loved the salad we picked (kale and apple salad with candied pecans). Very friendly and professional staff. Exceptional service throughout the whole process, from the tasting to the day of the wedding. I highly recommend!
I have never written a review before but I felt it necessary because I really wouldn't want anybody's wedding to be like my stepson's wedding was. It was such a disappointing and unprofessional outcome. I was initially invited to the food tasting. It was very well organized and professional.The food was good and they were very accommodating, but on the day of the wedding, it was so below standards of caterers. They did not arrive on time at the premises and as previously stated they were NOT familiar with the venue and they physically had the groomsmen leave their room that they were dressing in so that they could store their food. That was so wrong in so many levels. Also, the coordinator communicated the time of the reception and they did not start on time and by the time they finished serving the last of the plates it was running extremely late. The dinner was not served with the beverage that was paid for it was only served with water!!!! No tea was ever served to anybody. The butter for the rolls was never brought out to any of the guests. The coffee was only brought out because it was asked of them several times to be set up. It was very stressful to always be checking on things. It was very embarrassing. Because the reception ran late it made all the other events that evening run late also! My step daughter-in-law had notified them by email and by phone They took no responsibility for any of these mishaps, no refunds for what was not served and paid for and no apologies.I think that was the worst part.Everyone should be accountable.

reimbursement as requested we did take all of her comments under serious consideration. We have been to that venue many times are we are familiar with it. It is difficult to serve because there is no designated area to serve and we have to share a very small space with the bar but we did the best that was possible under those circumstances.
Several reasons why you should choose a different company.
First of all, they were incredibly rude to my parents on my wedding day. Absolutely unacceptable. Especially after they showed up late to my wedding.
Then, they tried to tell us (very loudly and with attitude) that we told them the wrong number of guests, and that they didn’t have enough plates. I had spoken on the phone with them less than a week prior to this (once I finally got in contact with someone), so that just wasn’t true. Turns out they had plenty of plates, and the guest count was around what we discussed on the phone.
At the start of the reception. The flow was disrupted due to them being late. Not the end of the world, but this along with everything else just added to our frustration.
When we booked with them they said that it included cake cutting and serving. When it came time for us to cut our cake, my husband and I stood in front of our guests awkwardly for almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to come assist us. We ended up having to go find someone from the team and tell them we needed to cut the cake. They eventually came over, Plopped a cake server down on the table, and walked off. Thankfully my coordinator came over and assisted with the rest of the cake serving (which was not her job). Very unprofessional.
After the reception was over, they ended the night with being rude to my parents…. AGAIN. Just wow.
During the planning process they were extremely hard to get in contact with. Very frustrating.
The food was fine. Not bad, not spectacular, but definitely not good enough to make up for the rest of our experience with this company.
We do not recommend using them. Very disappointing.

My name is Martha Valadez. I am co-owner of Got It Covered Events. I was personally involved with this wedding and I was present at this event from beginning to end including setting up the linens in the morning. I am normally appreciative o...
f customer feedback and we try very hard to make things right or at least to learn from the experience to make us better in every way possible. However this is a unique situation because everything is simply not true. They had 44 more seats than confirmed plates. This causes a shortage in plate settings and is a prelude to a shortage of food. I talked to them multiple times before the start of the wedding and they assured me that they would not have that many guests and the extra seats were just a precaution. We served exactly 27 extra plates (we kept count) that they were not charged for. We were able to do that by giving away the food we brought for our staff and for all other vendors. Everyone working their event had to eat snacks that we got from the gas station. We also had to go pick-up plastic silverware and cups to accommodate all the extra guests. Something we do not appreciate doing because it's not a true reflection of our quality of service. We did it only to help them and because we truly try very hard to solve problems and make the event run as smooth as possible. Because of this, it was quite a surprise that the parents came to us after the event asking for left-over food. Furthermore, I personally cut the cake and gave out every last slice. We were also standing by during the cake pictures (out of the shots of course) just waiting for them to finish so that we could step in and cut it. We received excellent responses from all guests, from the coordinator and from all other vendors regarding the food and our service and our willingness to come up with a solution to the very difficult situation the client put us in. Fortunately, most of this happened behind the scenes and their guests were served promptly and we received multiple compliments from their guests about the food and our service.
We booked Got It Covered in 2019 for our 2020 wedding which got postponed due to COVID. Martha was very easy to communicate with and moved our wedding date with no problems. We got married this June (2021) and had so many compliments on the food! Our guests loved the salad and the main entree. The waiters were very professional and always made sure my husband and I were fed. Highly recommend them!
They had excellent service on the wedding day and great communication throughout the whole process. They made the tasting very special for us and had great deals to make it affordable for our budget. Martha was amazing to work with and was very flexible and kind! We would highly recommend for any catering events. Oh, and of course the food was AMAZING. Lots of compliments from our guests!
We met with a few caterers and we knew when we met with Got it Covered that it was a no brainer we wanted this amazing food at our wedding! I wish we could of eaten more of it, but we got positive feedback from all of our guests! Everyone especially raved about the late night taco bar! Unfortunately, my husband and I did not get a taco, but the guests said how delicious they were and almost everyone got seconds and thirds! The tasting was elegant and COVID safe! The staff agreed to meet on numerous occasions to make sure all of my wishes came true on our special day! They were patient and answered all of my questions in a timely manner! I was honestly used to wedding food being bland and filling, and this food was flavorful and delicious! There were also so many to choose from, and it was so hard to narrow down what to choose! Highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu and the street tacos!! Absolutely amazing!! The linens were beautiful along with the food! They were patient as I changed my mind a million times until I found the right combination, and it was absolutely perfect!

Got It Covered did such a great job! The food and waitstaff were great and served our large guest count rather quickly. The food was delicious with very generous portions. No one was left hungry and our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was!!!

The caterers did such an amazing job with our food and service!! The food turned out absolutely delicious and the linens were beautiful. The ladies I interacted with with Got It Covered were professional, knowledgeable, and ready to help at every step of the way. I will give them 10/10 and I recommend them to any bride who wants great food and lovely service!
The Got It Covered staff did an amazing job all around. The food was great, service went well, and guests were complementing the food all night and the next day!
First off, the food was amazing at the tasting and at the wedding! We were very impressed when we came to the tasting. They had linens set up and served us like they would at the event. It was all very professional and very thought out. We loved how easy it was to communicate with them and plan the little details out.
I am so glad we decided to use Got It Covered as our caterer. They were so helpful and accommodating! The food for the wedding was amazing, and my guests are still telling me how great dinner was! Got It Covered was always there to answer questions or make changes whenever I needed them! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day the absolute best day, and we are so thankful!
Got it Covered was the best choice for catering! Starting with the tasting, it was so sweet and beautiful, and the food was just absolutely delicious. They have so many choices to choose from that you cannot go wrong. The day of service and staff was impeccable and even though we were busy greeting people and dancing, I noticed how hard the staff was working to bring the food and dessert to every person in a very professional way. Our guests LOVED the food and we cannot recommended Got it Covered enough. Martha and Marisol definitely got it covered!

Easy to work with and great food!
Holy Moly! The food at our wedding was incredible. My husband and I recently got married and we absolutely loved all of the vendors that were there to make our special day exactly what he had dreamed it would be. Our guests continue to praise the food at our wedding. We opted for a seated dinner, and it came out in a timely manner. We chose to have the chicken alfredo and pecan crusted chicken with mixed vegetables. We also had a variety of appetizers, smores bar, and late night street tacos. The food was hot, flavorful, and had great size portions. I loved how they provided the chargers that made the plates look elegant.
Everyone LOVED the food! I had several people mention that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. Some people were bummed though because they did equally pass out the appetizers around the venue so some people missed out on that. However, I would use them again and recommend them to anyone! The service was good overall, food was great, they were punctual and staff was very nice and friendly.
I am so happy I hired Got it covered for our catering. The food was AMAZING! We had chicken Parmesan and spaghetti, and we got so many compliments on it. They even packed my husband and I a plate of food to take home that night.

We discovered Got It Covered at the Bridal Extravaganza when we taste-tested their Poblano Chicken and Street Tacos. We had our tasting soon after and booked them the same day. We had so many compliments the day of the wedding on how great the food was. Because we booked them the same day as our tasting, they threw in free street tacos, so at 9pm our guests were pleasantly surprised with delicious tacos. Overall, it was a great experience with Got It Covered - they responded quickly to emails and were helpful in determining some of our wedding details. Great caterer for weddings, and I highly recommend for any large events.

This was the only full-service catering company we tasted with, and I'm so glad we went with them. The food was delicious (people are still talking about the borracho beans), our appetizer table was gorgeous, the service went smoothly, and they have incentives to have your linens included (which were pressed beautifully- we didn't have to do any steaming or ironing day of). They saved us a lot of trouble, making it so worth your money.

Got it Covered Events really DOES have it covered! We had so many compliments on both the food and the linens that we utilized at our wedding from Got It Covered. There was a nut allergy in the family that Martha adjusted the menu for and we really appreciated that. The staff was courteous, professional, and in time! We had some left over food and we were so happy to have the leftovers for the out of town family to eat for the rest of their stay here! We will definitely be recommending Got It Covered.
They did an awesome job for out wedding and communicating with us. I was so happy and got so many compliments on the food of the wedding!

The food was amazing!!!!!! We had leftovers and we seriously gorged on it all week! The service was outstanding and they took care of every detail for way less than their competitors. Friendly, prompt, responsible and delicious!!!!

Martha was a DREAM to work with in planning the food and appetizers for our wedding. She gave great recommendations when we needed it and had the answer to every reception question. Her staff was incredibly professional and we got so many compliments on the food! I highly recommend booking them!

Martha and Marisol know what they're doing! The planning was thorough, the food was amazing and the service was more than expected. They were always responsive during our planning phase and everything went off without a hitch on the day of our wedding. The appetizers, entrees and especially street tacos at the end of the night received so many compliments and praise from our guests. Their servers did a great job catering to our guests and at one point one even asked me if I needed a jacket! It was the smallest gesture but it meant so much!

We had our wedding at scenic springs and we did not opt for the all inclusive package, but our wedding coordinator recommended we try Got it Covered for catering (who does their all inclusive package). I set up a tasting for me, my husband and mother-in-law and, quite frankly, we had a terrible experience that made me refuse to go to any more tastings with “wedding caterers”. First of all, when we showed up, our salads were already sitting on the table for God knows how long. They had poured sweet tea, and when we asked for unsweet, they refused to make some. I had emailed with them about what dishes I wanted to try, but they didn’t ask what sides we wanted. Then they messed up one of the entrees and told me that’s what I had said...They served us very small portions and the food was not good at all. The woman who was helping us was just very rude the whole time. She didn’t sit down with us to explain the dishes, and when we finished and got up to talk with her, she assumed we were hiring them and started to ask about our menu (I think she thought we had purchased the all inclusive package with scenic springs but that is no excuse for her behavior). I had already decided I did not want to use them and it was very uncomfortable. She even tried to argue with me about some of my food intolerances telling me that there is gluten in rice...My fiancé is too nice and was trying to hear her out, but I finally had to say I didn’t like it and wanted to leave. If you choose to do the all inclusive package with scenic springs, i recommend asking for a different caterer.

ty to correct any issues. We do pre-set the salads at the tastings but I assure you that they are not sitting on the table for any period of time. We give 3 to 4 entrees which is what you received and they are half portions. This together with a full portion starch, vegetable serving and salad is typically more food than most people eat in one meal. I am sorry that you felt this was not enough. Since your tasting was so long ago, it's hard to say what exactly was said but again I am sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. Luckily Scenic Springs is open to having other caterers and restaurants and you had other choices. I hope that you had a better experience in whichever route you decided to go. I also want to thank you for taking the time to write about your experience.
My husband and I enjoyed working with Got It Covered for our wedding. Our food was delicious, and they even packed two meals to go for us to take the night of. The servers were very professional, and everything went really smoothly. I definately recommend them!
Got It Covered did amazing at our wedding! We had SO many guests asks us who catered because they loved the food! Not only was the food delicious but it was also hot which a lot of the guests really gave kuddos on! Got It Covered took care of us and our guests, they were all so professional and friendly! They also went above and beyond in helping out with cleaning up at the venue. Delicious food and great customer service!
Loved Martha and the catering company, they did an amazing job with our wedding. From our first phone call, to the tasting up to the late night Street tacos we had at the wedding! Late night street tacos were are a must and we’re a fan favorite! The price was the best in town and we highly recommend this company.

Got it covered NAILED IT! I was overly worried about the wedding food, because I had been to so many in the past where the portions were small and cold. Not only were they able to serve my over 300 wedding but the food was hot and it was a great portion! I received so many great compliments on the food and I owe it all to them.
Got It Covered did a great job at our wedding. They delivered exactly what they promised. We had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans- precisely what we asked for! The servers were professional and attentive. Would definitely recommend this company.
Got It Covered really had it covered on our big day!!! All of the details were done behind the scenes and the food was great! They are a professional team and very friendly. We requested they stop serving and moving during our speeches and they made sure that happened, too. They had the best value in town - provided the napkins, chargers, glasses, and so much more. I highly recommend this catering team!!
Got It Covered provided our linens and catering. I took forever to pick linens, and they were so patient and helpful with showing me different options. We loved what we ended up with! In terms of the food, they were very accommodating with me and my husband (both vegetarians), as well as several vegans, people who must keep gluten-free, nut allergies, and someone who is both vegan and gluten intolerant. It was very important to us to meet everyone's needs, and they worked with us. We got tons of compliments on the standard meal--chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. And we loved our vegetarian fajitas! The kids meals also seemed great. The only complaint I have is that the coordinator didn't seem to communicate to the day-of event staff that my husband and I needed vegetarian meals--we were brought the chicken dish, but once we let them know, they quickly got us the right thing. All in all, a very minor inconvenience, and the delicious food was worth the small wait. They were great!
Our wedding was on November 3rd, 2017 and I have just found the time to write review. First off, I want to say that Got It Covered Events was phenomenal. I loved that they had so many different menu choices to choose from and that we were able to find something within our budget. At our initial meeting they were so well informative and made everything very understanding and gave us a folder to go over at home. We got to try 3 different free plate samples. We were still undecided after our initial visit of food choices and they allowed us to come back to try 3 other plates at no additional cost. They also gave us extended time (due to Holidays) after our initial visit for our free appetizer if we decided on them to be our caterer. On the day of our wedding they set up the linens really early which was awesome. The linens were beautiful and so clean. The best part was that they came to pick up everything once the wedding was over which was one less thing to worry about. For our appetizer we chose the fruit/vegetable/cheese display which was set up very nice. For our entree we chose parmesan crusted chicken and I must say that it has been the best I've ever tasted. I loved that everything came out so warm and fresh. The caterers were on top of things once the dinner started and were very well dressed. They had such very good service and were so nice and very attentive. I never had an empty glass of water or tea. The kept coming by to see if we needed anything which I really appreciated. They made my husband and I feel like priority but at the same time our guests and food as well. I hope another event comes along that I can have Got It Covered Events to be our caterers. They were apart of what made our wedding really special. Thank you Marisol and Martha and thank you to your employees for your great service.
The entire staff was very helpful and friendly while we made out food selections. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The staff on the day-of on October 14, 2017 was great! The Lead guy took care of everything, made sure all the kids got their kids meals and we actually received a going away box filled with grapes, cheese, and champagne as we were leaving for the night. The owners are great and try to accommodate as much as they can. We also got our linens through Got It Covered and we were able to pick great fall colors for the guests linens and napkins, not just ivory as most weddings are. I was very happy with everything!
We just recently got married on November 12th and used Got it Covered. We read reviews and sampled their food among others at the San Antonio Wedding Expo. They had the best food in my opinion. They were prompt and helpful during the whole planning period. Since our wedding, almost everybody that I have talked to has stated that the food was one of the best that they have had at a wedding. The servers were fast away to take dirty plates off of the table so that our guests were not left staring at the empty and dirty plates. I would hands down recommend Got it Covered for your wedding, they did an amazing job!
We chose Got It Covered as our caterer for our wedding, and we were very happy with their service. Martha and Marisol were very helpful and provided us with all of the information we needed to ensure that we would make the best decision for our wedding. I definitely recommend them!
We used Got It Covered Events for our wedding catering & linens and were very impressed. The portions they serve are good size, we had Chicken Cordon Bleu, Pork Tenderloin with Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, Home style mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. They handled the Iced Tea, Water, Coffee service for the whole night, served the plated dinner, bused tables... They were great. The only thing I would recommend is when you speak to them about getting linens make sure you have an idea of when you will need them. The only negative we had with them was that Linens would be delivered After all of our other vendors would deliver, meaning we either had to put out our own linens Or move a 3 tiered wedding cake, Centerpieces, etc. Needless to say, we picked them up the day before. (100+ mile round trip). Overall they were great to work with, and we would not blink about using them again.
We just used "Got it Covered" for a wedding at the Igenhuett on High in Comfort on 9/9/17. This venue had never experienced this catering company, but moreover, the venue had never had a sit down dinner before - only buffets. The owner of the venue was there all day ensuring her facility was running smoothly. She was the only one who had access to the kitchen and she said they were VERY good. No one snuck off for a smoke and left others in a lurch. She said they were nice, polite, worked very hard and knew exactly what they were doing. The plates came out quickly and on time. They set all the tables, linens.....everything......then helped us clean up the venue and pack up our vehicles at the end of the night. NOW- here's the review by the me, the MOB and guests. The chicken poblano was FABULOUS, mashed potatoes were probably the best I've had and grilled veges were superb. ALL FOOD WAS GREAT! I don't think I can figure out a thing to say they could do better. If you want a very professional caterer with EXCELLENT food where you have no worrries- use Got it Covered. I will definitely use them for daughter #2's future wedding!
We used Got it Covered for our wedding at Kendall Plantation. The whole experience from start to finish was simple and enjoyable. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. About a month later, I am still having guests tell me how excellent the food was. I would use them again for another catered event!
This company was so great and easy to work with. They helped us find the perfect package for us and even recommended other vendors such as flowers and cakes for us. The food was beyond amazing, I wish we would've had more left over!
I had countless caterers quote me for my 150 guest list, and I was appalled in how expensive it would be. I was discouraged because I did not think I would find a caterer that would provide us with yummy food AND stay in our budget.
A friend then told me she was using Got it Covered and told me how inexpensive they were but that they had amazing food. I immediately booked a tasting and my husband and I were instantly sold! You are not getting what you pay for, you are getting SO much more. This was hands down the best service and wedding food I have ever experienced. My guests continue to tell me how amazing our food was! You will not regret booking Got it Covered, and you will also save so much money!!
Got it covered was amazing! We did a seated dinner for 275 people and they got the food out to everyone in a very timely manner. The food was incredible, we have received so many compliments about how impressed people were with the food. The price was so much more reasonable than some other places we looked at, and it included glassware, nice colored napkins, and chargers which really added the prefect touch to our wedding.
Worst caterer! They forgot to make the bride her meal!! The contract specifically indicated Fetuccine Alfredo, vegetarian. The only thing my daughter had to eat the evening was mashed potatoes! The girl in charge of the catering that evening never apologized. All she said was "oh well, it's too late now"!! The owner, Martha, never called us to apologize for their huge mistake!! My daughter was looking forward to her meal, and was starving by that time, and for her to just be served mashed potatoes is uncalled for! Her husband, wedding planner, and us are very upset with them and their unprofesionalism. The venue for the reception took them off their list of caterers. We know several couples that are engaged and told them not to use them .
Marisol and Martha were fantastic- they gave my fiance and I, plus both sets of parents a free tasting. We ended up renting linens as well, which was quick and easy to pick up, and they were wonderful to work with at the reception. Their caterers made sure that my husband and I got food during the reception, and constantly checked in with us:)
They had the best tasting and really worked with us on what we wanted for our reception. The hors d'oeuvres and our buffet were both excellent and we received many compliments on the food. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a great time.
Got it Covered catered my wedding on 10/15/16 out at Kendall Plantation. From the very first meeting, Marisol and Martha were great! They were very helpful and professional. We chose the cheese and fruit table for cocktail hour, and served the strawberry and watermelon salad and chicken marsala for dinner. All of the food came out hot and tasted delicious. My guests are still telling me how amazing everything was, and how great the service was. I appreciate everything they did and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!!!
Marisol is a truly talented chef. Her food was so delicious that we had multiple tastings! Her professionalism and beautiful personality was clear in her attentiveness to our needs and budget. It was clear that many of our other vendors loved working with her as we heard great things from them about her way of doing business. She even accommodated last minute additions on the week of our wedding. Thank you Marisol, for being so kind and patient with us. Our guests absolutely LOVED the food!
Martha, Marisol, and the entire staff at Got it Covered were absolutely phenomenal! They were a preferred vendor from our venue, and I am very glad that we gave them our business! The entire planning process was so stress-free from the beginning! They were able to accommodate my husband and sisters entree request as well as the small tweaks of request from our guest at the reception. We are still receiving so many compliments from our guests about how about the hor d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, the children's plates, adult entrees, and the mini tacos for the late night snack! The service and food provided by this company was amazing! Although the delivery truck forgot our napkins for dinner and did not deliver linens for our table, the owner promptly refunded us the amount we payed. Other than that, everything was great!
We had the chicken marsala and the guests loved it so much that a few people came by the next day to get more. We had a seated dinner and the staff was super efficient in making sure everyone got their plates in a timely fashion and picking up the dirty plates. The staff was also super interactive and looked like they were having a good time at the wedding and not like they were just there to work. Did I mention, the food was delicious? It was. We had a lot of last minute guests that had travel issues, and we had more food left over than anticipated, I think we had chicken for a week straight, and it was delicious for the whole week.
