e verity of food without compromising quality. Between our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner we had a range from Italian food and steak to seafood and Mexican food and it was all delicious! Everyone on the team is professional and efficient, which made our day run smoothly. They also did our linens for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and they completely transformed our venue space into a fairytale setting! I cannot recommend Got it Covered enough!

o decorate was a little inconvenient, but not the worst thing in the world. They gave us the wrong black linens so the next day we met half way with them to grab the rounds, which again isn’t the end of the world at all just a minor inconvenience. Their food was really good, but probably my favorite thing from booking them was their clear and informative email to begin the process. They lay it all out for you so you’re not guessing about what’s included or what isn’t, what pricing is, etc. All the information was there and I really appreciated it because it was almost like pulling teeth with the other caterers to get that information. We also had the late night taco snack and they were absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend Got It Covered.

She suggested beautiful linen and table decorations. She even saved us from making a big mistake by asking if we were sure the hall provided floor length linens vs. quarter length (they didn’t!) The Got it Covered team had their fingerprints on every part of our wedding, from the delicious meal to the appetizers, to the design of the hall, to the dessert. We received so many compliments on the moistness of the meat, the delicious salad, how tasty the sauce was, the expert breading on the pecan chicken, the mashed potatoes were an absolute hit! During the wedding, everything went incredibly smoothly; the staff was always present and ready when we needed them. We served a double entree of cilantro-lime chicken and chipotle butter filet mignon with cilantro rice and a grilled vegetable medley. Everything was delicious, but the filet was definitely the star of the show! We also had a late-night deshebrada street taco station that got a lot of hype and my mother and grandmother loved the salad we picked (kale and apple salad with candied pecans). ng. It was very well organized and professional.The food was good and they were very accommodating, but on the day of the wedding, it was so below standards of caterers. They did not arrive on time at the premises and as previously stated they were NOT familiar with the venue and they physically had the groomsmen leave their room that they were dressing in so that they could store their food. That was so wrong in so many levels. Also, the coordinator communicated the time of the reception and they did not start on time and by the time they finished serving the last of the plates it was running extremely late. The dinner was not served with the beverage that was paid for it was only served with water!!!! No tea was ever served to anybody. The butter for the rolls was never brought out to any of the guests. The coffee was only brought out because it was asked of them several times to be set up. It was very stressful to always be checking on things. It was very embarrassing. Because the reception ran late it made all the other events that evening run late also! My step daughter-in-law had notified them by email and by phone They took no responsibility for any of these mishaps, no refunds for what was not served and paid for and no apologies.I think that was the worst part.Everyone should be accountable.

reimbursement as requested we did take all of her comments under serious consideration. We have been to that venue many times are we are familiar with it. It is difficult to serve because there is no designated area to serve and we have to share a very small space with the bar but we did the best that was possible under those circumstances.
Several reasons why you should choose a different company.
First of all, they were incredibly rude to my parents on my wedding day. Absolutely unacceptable. Especially after they showed up late to my wedding.
Then, they tried to tell us (very...
loudly and with attitude) that we told them the wrong number of guests, and that they didn’t have enough plates. I had spoken on the phone with them less than a week prior to this (once I finally got in contact with someone), so that just wasn’t true. Turns out they had plenty of plates, and the guest count was around what we discussed on the phone.
At the start of the reception. The flow was disrupted due to them being late. Not the end of the world, but this along with everything else just added to our frustration.
When we booked with them they said that it included cake cutting and serving. When it came time for us to cut our cake, my husband and I stood in front of our guests awkwardly for almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to come assist us. We ended up having to go find someone from the team and tell them we needed to cut the cake. They eventually came over, Plopped a cake server down on the table, and walked off. Thankfully my coordinator came over and assisted with the rest of the cake serving (which was not her job). Very unprofessional.
After the reception was over, they ended the night with being rude to my parents…. AGAIN. Just wow.
During the planning process they were extremely hard to get in contact with. Very frustrating.
The food was fine. Not bad, not spectacular, but definitely not good enough to make up for the rest of our experience with this company.
We do not recommend using them. Very disappointing.

My name is Martha Valadez. I am co-owner of Got It Covered Events. I was personally involved with this wedding and I was present at this event from beginning to end including setting up the linens in the morning. I am normally appreciative o...
f customer feedback and we try very hard to make things right or at least to learn from the experience to make us better in every way possible. However this is a unique situation because everything is simply not true. They had 44 more seats than confirmed plates. This causes a shortage in plate settings and is a prelude to a shortage of food. I talked to them multiple times before the start of the wedding and they assured me that they would not have that many guests and the extra seats were just a precaution. We served exactly 27 extra plates (we kept count) that they were not charged for. We were able to do that by giving away the food we brought for our staff and for all other vendors. Everyone working their event had to eat snacks that we got from the gas station. We also had to go pick-up plastic silverware and cups to accommodate all the extra guests. Something we do not appreciate doing because it's not a true reflection of our quality of service. We did it only to help them and because we truly try very hard to solve problems and make the event run as smooth as possible. Because of this, it was quite a surprise that the parents came to us after the event asking for left-over food. Furthermore, I personally cut the cake and gave out every last slice. We were also standing by during the cake pictures (out of the shots of course) just waiting for them to finish so that we could step in and cut it. We received excellent responses from all guests, from the coordinator and from all other vendors regarding the food and our service and our willingness to come up with a solution to the very difficult situation the client put us in. Fortunately, most of this happened behind the scenes and their guests were served promptly and we received multiple compliments from their guests about the food and our service.

The tasting was elegant and COVID safe! The staff agreed to meet on numerous occasions to make sure all of my wishes came true on our special day! They were patient and answered all of my questions in a timely manner! I was honestly used to wedding food being bland and filling, and this food was flavorful and delicious! Overall, it was a great experience with Got It Covered - they responded quickly to emails and were helpful in determining some of our wedding details. We had our wedding at scenic springs and we did not opt for the all inclusive package, but our wedding coordinator recommended we try Got it Covered for catering (who does their all inclusive package). I set up a tasting for me, my husband and ...
mother-in-law and, quite frankly, we had a terrible experience that made me refuse to go to any more tastings with “wedding caterers”. First of all, when we showed up, our salads were already sitting on the table for God knows how long. They had poured sweet tea, and when we asked for unsweet, they refused to make some. I had emailed with them about what dishes I wanted to try, but they didn’t ask what sides we wanted. Then they messed up one of the entrees and told me that’s what I had said...They served us very small portions and the food was not good at all. The woman who was helping us was just very rude the whole time. She didn’t sit down with us to explain the dishes, and when we finished and got up to talk with her, she assumed we were hiring them and started to ask about our menu (I think she thought we had purchased the all inclusive package with scenic springs but that is no excuse for her behavior). I had already decided I did not want to use them and it was very uncomfortable. She even tried to argue with me about some of my food intolerances telling me that there is gluten in rice...My fiancé is too nice and was trying to hear her out, but I finally had to say I didn’t like it and wanted to leave. If you choose to do the all inclusive package with scenic springs, i recommend asking for a different caterer.

ty to correct any issues. We do pre-set the salads at the tastings but I assure you that they are not sitting on the table for any period of time. We give 3 to 4 entrees which is what you received and they are half portions. This together with a full portion starch, vegetable serving and salad is typically more food than most people eat in one meal. I am sorry that you felt this was not enough. Since your tasting was so long ago, it's hard to say what exactly was said but again I am sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. Luckily Scenic Springs is open to having other caterers and restaurants and you had other choices. I hope that you had a better experience in whichever route you decided to go. I also want to thank you for taking the time to write about your experience.

nd my husband (both vegetarians), as well as several vegans, people who must keep gluten-free, nut allergies, and someone who is both vegan and gluten intolerant. It was very important to us to meet everyone's needs, and they worked with us. We got tons of compliments on the standard meal--chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. And we loved our vegetarian fajitas! The kids meals also seemed great. The only complaint I have is that the coordinator didn't seem to communicate to the day-of event staff that my husband and I needed vegetarian meals--we were brought the chicken dish, but once we let them know, they quickly got us the right thing. All in all, a very minor inconvenience, and the delicious food was worth the small wait. They were great!

to find something within our budget. At our initial meeting they were so well informative and made everything very understanding and gave us a folder to go over at home. We got to try 3 different free plate samples. We were still undecided after our initial visit of food choices and they allowed us to come back to try 3 other plates at no additional cost. They also gave us extended time (due to Holidays) after our initial visit for our free appetizer if we decided on them to be our caterer. On the day of our wedding they set up the linens really early which was awesome. The linens were beautiful and so clean. The best part was that they came to pick up everything once the wedding was over which was one less thing to worry about. For our appetizer we chose the fruit/vegetable/cheese display which was set up very nice. For our entree we chose parmesan crusted chicken and I must say that it has been the best I've ever tasted. I loved that everything came out so warm and fresh. The caterers were on top of things once the dinner started and were very well dressed. They had such very good service and were so nice and very attentive. I never had an empty glass of water or tea. The kept coming by to see if we needed anything which I really appreciated. They made my husband and I feel like priority but at the same time our guests and food as well. I hope another event comes along that I can have Got It Covered Events to be our caterers. The owners are great and try to accommodate as much as they can. We also got our linens through Got It Covered and we were able to pick great fall colors for the guests linens and napkins, not just ivory as most weddings are. I was very happy with everything!

The only thing I would recommend is when you speak to them about getting linens make sure you have an idea of when you will need them. The only negative we had with them was that Linens would be delivered After all of our other vendors would deliver, meaning we either had to put out our own linens Or move a 3 tiered wedding cake, Centerpieces, etc. Needless to say, we picked them up the day before. (100+ mile round trip). Overall they were great to work with, and we would not blink about using them again.

venue was there all day ensuring her facility was running smoothly. She was the only one who had access to the kitchen and she said they were VERY good. No one snuck off for a smoke and left others in a lurch. She said they were nice, polite, worked very hard and knew exactly what they were doing. The plates came out quickly and on time. They set all the tables, linens.....everything......then helped us clean up the venue and pack up our vehicles at the end of the night. NOW- here's the review by the me, the MOB and guests. The chicken poblano was FABULOUS, mashed potatoes were probably the best I've had and grilled veges were superb. ALL FOOD WAS GREAT! I don't think I can figure out a thing to say they could do better. If you want a very professional caterer with EXCELLENT food where you have no worrries- use Got it Covered. I will definitely use them for daughter #2's future wedding!
