She is inventive, treats each person with the care needed to address different hair types and desires, and is such a pleasant person to be with and share important memories with.

After hours of researching hair and make up vendors, I decided to work with Grace Armas and her team. I was thrilled with my decision! Grace understood my vision and executed my look flawlessly in my trial and on my wedding day! She is so easy to work with and offers a great pricing structure. Grace and her team showed up around 5 am to make sure all of my girls were taken care of. Her team was just as amazing as she was. I would recommend Grace to anyone. In fact, my sister liked her hair and make up so much that she used Grace for her own wedding last month!

I found Grace through a friend who got married a little before I did. She looked beautiful and my day was fast approaching so I had to find someone quick. My makeup was beautiful and mostly lasted throughout the night. The hair was a different story. At the trial run, she warned me that my updo would probably not hold up very long because she did not have the right size bobby pins for how thick my hair was. But she assured me that for the real deal she would have the larger bobby pins. She was right. I went to dinner with my maid of honor right after the trial run and the hair did not make it through dinner. No biggie, she had warned me, but I let her know anyways and she insisted that would not be an issue the day of and that her hair never moves on wedding day. Come wedding day, she did bring the bigger bobby pins and the hair looked great. By the time I got to my wedding venue I already had a few loose strands! My bridesmaids managed to place a couple extra bobby pins to secure the loose bits and that at least got me through my pictures and the ceremony. The entire updo came undone at the beginning of the reception (before the dancing and party even began). The whole thing came undone except the ponytail underneath. One of my friends managed to use the pack of emergency bobby pins we had on hand (small ones btw) to create a makeshift updo which Did last me for the rest of the night. What I paid Grace was no small change. Between the trial run for hair and makeup plus the day of, and my mothers hair and makeup for the day of, I spent almost $600. This does not include what she got from some of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. For this large investment I expected MUCH more and was very disappointment with the outcome. I don't mind paying a little extra for great quality, but in this case it did not pay off. I don't know if it was because she was rushed that she had another event after me (which is a whole other story altogether), or if she was not capable of doing a hairdo for my type of hair (in which case I would have appreciated knowing at the time of the trial) but this ended up being one of the expenses I ended up regretting most on my wedding day. Either way, it's done and I felt beautiful on my day regardless, but if I could go back I would have gone a different route with hair and found something that would last more than an hour.

Grace was AMAZING! She made me so beautiful on the day of my wedding. I couldn't have asked for more gorgeous hair and makeup! I cried all day and my makeup was intact! Everyone was amazed! Grace is super nice, fun and accommodating. The kind a person you want around you the day of your wedding. We had a fun time getting me glammed up, which to me was very important to me. Everything that day should be fun, beautiful and stress free, and that's what Grace delivered when doing my hair and makeup. I looked stunning thanks to Grace! So grateful I found her!

I spoke with her briefly prior to my hair and makeup trial, and I knew I made the right choice. Grace is meticulous in her craft. I showed her 1 or 2 pictures of the look I had in mind, and she flawlessly delivered. Not to mention, she is such a joy to speak with. My mom and I both went for trials together, and we had such a wonderful time just hanging out with Grace. It felt like we had known her for years! The day of the wedding could not have gone more smoothly. Grace brought 2 wonderful ladies with her to make sure everyone in my wedding party looked flawless. We all had such a wonderful time. It was the BEST way to start my wedding day. So, if you're feeling like I was when searching for a hair and makeup guru (slightly overwhelmed and nervous), look no further. I am more than satisfied with Grace's services for my special day! My mother and I received both our hair and make-up while most of my bridesmaids had their hair done. My mother and I did the airbrush make-up option, and I was amazed at how long it lasted. I even had cake shoved in my face, and my make-up stayed flawless! Grace and her assistant worked with each of my bridesmaids to create the look they wanted, and each walked away beautiful and happy. Grace was great in working with me on exactly what I wanted make-up and hair wise for my big day, and I can honestly say it was exactly what I imagined. My hair stayed in place all evening - even with all of the wind and dancing! My make-up never smudged and my eyelashes never budged. I would definitely recommend Grace!

We had 5 bridesmaids, myself, my mother in law and mom in our party. Grace's team came to our house and completed everyone in 3.5 hours. It was so intimate and special to get ready in the comfort of our home. The price point for everything was very similar to most salons in the Atlanta area and it was worth every penny to have the seclusion of just us and the stylist team. The makeup was all very natural and enhanced features solely for photography. My mothers felt absolutely beautiful and my girls all felt like themselves. I loved having this team for my wedding day!

There are so many good things to say about Grace and her team!! First off, SHE IS AWESOME and SO TALENTED. When I called up Grace frantic (because my original hairstylist was not on the same page as me and did not execute the vision I had hoped for on my wedding day) she was so nice, helpful and calming. She had me come in for a hair trial and was able to do EXACTLY what I wanted from just showing her a picture. On the day of, she and her assistant turned my bridal party into movie stars and my updo was PERFECT. She has a great, fun energy and we had a great time getting ready. Grace was an absolute pleasure to work with. My trial run gave me a great idea of what to expect for the wedding day. She was able to make me, my 6 bridesmaids and mother/mother in law look flawless. She had a strict schedule which helped the day flow well. We did run about 30 minutes over schedule but I think this was due to the photographer arriving late. Thanks Grace!

Grace was a dream to work with! She arrived on time and had set up a schedule for me and my bridesmaids and mom to make sure we were finished by the time I needed to be at the venue. Her assistant, Emily, came along to help us meet that timeline and Emily did a wonderful job of making everyone's makeup look gorgeous. Grace did my hair and makeup herself and I looked outstanding (she even gave me eyebrows!) It almost makes me sad that I will never look that good again. I considered putting an exclamation point or twenty after "Amazing" just to emphasize how pleased I was with Grace's services, but it still would not adequately express how absolutely pleased I am. I don't usually wear makeup, but my photographer highly recommended it--specifically air brushed. I found Grace, told her about my makeup aversion and expressed that looking as natural yet elegant as possible was a priority. She did all of that and more. I looked gorgeous. I looked so good I am glad that I don't wear makeup, because now that I've seen my full potential I know I could never achieve such amazingness on my own--it would be a constant exercise in frustration. In addition to doing a fantastic job with my makeup she was super professional, easy to work with, and showed her experience with weddings and working with brides. It was the little things that were so helpful and considerate. Grace also did hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids. She was so patient and really listened and worked to get them the look that they wanted. I've worked with stylists where they try to imprint their vision onto a client, but Grace was more concerned with what we wanted. I could not have asked for a better stylist to work with on the most important day of my life. She is wonderful.

Grace is amazing at make-up artistry! I showed her a couple photos, and told her I wanted my eyes to pop and look big, highlight my blue iris and have a smokey like look. She incorporated all of these things and I LOVED the outcome. I have had my make-up professionally done for 4 weddings recently and Grace was really outstanding. The price I quoted is with a $15 tip. I highly recommend Grace for not just weddings but for any type of event/photoshoot where an awesome make-up artist is needed! She also has the sweetest soul and caring personality. Grace is AWESOME! I found Grace on theknot.com and after a few conversations, I was confident she would be the perfect hairstylist. Grace made my bridal dreams come true! I showed up to the trial with some pictures and ideas already in mind and Grace worked her magic! A few weeks before the wedding, I changed my mind about the hairstyle I wanted and Grace was more than accommodating. Grace showed up to my venue a couple of minutes early and got started immediately. She did hair for me, three of my bridesmaids, my mom and my flower girl. She really listened to what everyone asked for. Everyone's hair looked beautiful and despite the wind we ended up having, it held up the entire day, even though dancing! Grace and her team did an amazing job. They made everyone look beautiful and very easily translated the hair/makeup examples we brought in into reality! Each of us have very different types of hair and coloring and they were able to tailor our hairstyles and makeup in a way that complemented each of our unique features AND kept with the theme/coloring of the bridesmaid dresses and flowers.

We found Grace on the Knot. We had a trial run at her home prior to the wedding and were very impressed. She was easy to work with and listened to our ideas as well as offering suggestions. She was very cost effective compared to other vendors. On the actual wedding day, she was accompanied by 2 other stylists as we had 9 of us having our hair and makeup done. She had previously given us a schedule, so everything went smoothly. I can honestly say, my hair stayed in place the entire day. I felt almost as beautiful as the bride. I don't normally wear much makeup, but I didn't feel "overdone" with the finished product! I would recommend her services to any bride!

For my sister's wedding day, we had 7 bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride and the bride getting their hair and makeup done. Grace sent us a detailed schedule and instructions beforehand, which was very helpful. Grace and her two assistants arrived early to help us start our day. They were very friendly, professional and open to all of our suggestions on how we wanted to look. They did as many touch-ups as we needed and stayed until we were all 100% happy with our look. They even provided us with little baggies of foundation and lip color for a mid-reception touch-up. I cannot thank Grace enough for helping us all look beautiful for the best day of my sister's life so far!

I first contacted Grace on September 17. That night we discussed pricing, wedding party, and settled on a trial date of October 13. Last night (October 7) I realized we had not settled on a time to meet so I emailed her with my availibity along with some pictures of styles I liked. This morning I woke up with the following email: "Good morning, I am so sorry but I have already booked January 10, 2015. I don't block the wedding date for brides until I do a trial. I have been cancelled and have had no show trials before because brides are also inquiring other hair and make up artist so I may speak to two brides about the same day. It breaks my heart and its so unfornutate when I have two honest brides willing and ready for their trial and I have to say no to one." First of all, one of the brides (either myself of the other with the same date) should have been notified that there was a possibility that the date would become booked up. I has been made aware of this, I could have at least been researching other options or been more prepared. Second, I also could have adjusted my trial date. I don't think it's fair that just becasue she scheduled her trial sooner that I am left out to dry. Bottom line is she shouldn't entertian two brides with the same wedding date. So now three days before my trial I am back to the drawing board. Being a teacher, it is difficult for me to get PTO off of work, so now I am wasting a holiday. I am very much a people pleaser and laid back bride, but would NOT recommend wasting your time with Grace. Glad I found out sooner rather than later

Let me say I was very nervous trying to find a hairstylist for my wedding day hair. I am a former professional ballerina and have been doing my own hair and makeup since I was a young girl. Being new to the area I had to rely on reviews and word of mouth. I met Grace at a Bridal Show and immediately liked her. She is an extremely nice and easy person to talk to and everyone in my family loved her. She keeps in the background for the most part and just works her magic. I did not know what to expect and had never had someone do my makeup, but when she let me see myself after she was done I was shocked and don't think I've smiled that big since my husband proposed! I looked gorgeous!!! I'm a mom of a 1 and 2 year old so my days of getting dolled up are few and far between. Grace is amazing and I felt the most gorgeous I've felt in a long time. We reviewed a few pics before we got started and she created the exact same hairstyle and makeup as discussed, but I honestly think she did better. I wish I could post pics because it was that good! You will be so thankful for choosing Grace to take care of your hair and makeup. She is a delight to work with and listens to every thought or concern you have as she creates your dream look. She also did my Mom's hair and my bridal party's hair. Everyone was extremely pleased. I dreamed of looking pretty on my wedding day, but ended up looking stunning and breathtaking. Grace recently provided hair and makeup services for a wedding that I was in. I had both my hair and makeup done by Grace over the course of the day. My hair was done at 9:30 and my makeup at 12:00. I was concerned that I would begin to look wilted, but both hair and makeup stood the test of time and looked fresh at 6:00 PM when the ceremony began. She was able to recreate the hair and makeup inspiration pictures that I had brought with me. Grace is very friendly, easy to talk to and patient.

For my wedding, Grace Armas went above and beyond in every aspect of my own and my whole bridal party's hair and make up. Grace does a in-depth, through trial run to give you a real insight into how your hair and makeup will look. She was always easy to contact and gave great advice/ tips for the wedding day to make our hair and makeup stay perfect. She provided me with a timeline for all the bridesmaid which is super helpful for any bride on their wedding day. My updo for the ceremony was perfect and Grace was able to do a quick half up style inbetween the ceremony and reception which turned out even more perfect. She was always available for all the girls and myself to get touch ups as well. I would highly recommend Grace for any other bride looking for the perfect hair and makeup, she is beyond amazing!

I was the maid of honor at my best friend's wedding in Atlanta and Grace was our hair and makeup! She did a great job of calming the bride's nerves while doing an excellent job of making everyone look and feel beautiful! I definitely recommend her on both personality and job well done!

I loved working with Grace! I found her online, which can sometimes be a gamble, but after the hair and makeup trial run, I knew that she would be the perfect person to work with on my wedding day. I decided to give my bridesmaids/mother hair and makeup as a gift, and I was so happy that I decided to spend the extra money as opposed to just having my hair and makeup done. It was such a fun time for us all to hang out. Grace had a very thorough schedule for the day, and everything was done perfectly on time. Each girl had different updos and looks (to reflect their different personalities), but they all coordinated with one another so well. I would definitely recommend Grace for a wedding/event. Not only is she a great stylist, she is so nice, friendly, and easy to work with.

Grace and her assistant Hope are absolutely AMAZING! You cannot believe how gorgeous my bridesmaids and I were for my June wedding! I knew Grace was the one for me from the first time we spoke! I can't tell you how much fun I had with her on the trial that I did with her! She has such an fantastic personality, and her hands are like MAGIC! She ran with my ideas and turned them into something more beautiful than I could have even imagined. All of my bridesmaids, and my mothers totally enjoyed chatting with her and Hope as they wistfully made everyone into models! I would recommend them to any bride that I come across, you will not be let down! Grace did a great job! I'm not one to wear a lot of make up, so she kept it natural while still making me feel beautiful. I used clip in extensions and she made them look natural. She made some great suggestions on the details of my hair and it turned out beautifully! I definitely recommend her!

Grace was professional and flexible throughout the whole process. I am very picky with my make-up and she did an amazing job with my make-up and hair. I contacted Grace because I saw her work on facebook. I was impressed how natural and beautiful all her brides look. In particular, she always seemed to capture something captivating about the person's face. Whether it was thier bright blue eyes, or high cheeks she seemed to always bring that out with her hair and make-up. I planned a small wedding at my mother - in - laws outdoor garden. My dress was not your typical dress since I was 5 mos pregnant. I have to admit I didn't feel all to sexy but Grace really made me feel sexy, glamorous, and elegant. THANK YOU! I recently had Grace do my hair and make-up for my wedding in September and she did such an amazing job! We have such a close bond and I trust her vision! I knew that she would such a good job, that I left it all in her hands. AND can I say I looked absolutely GORGEOUS! So, gorgeous that my husband (doesn't like to admit) teared when he saw me. I have used Grace for almost every wedding I have ever attended and I have always been more then satisfied. I was a guest of one wedding where people were coming up to me to take pictures of my hair for their wedding day. It would come to no surprise that when me and my friends were getting married that we had to have her for our special day as well. I was part of a wedding party where I was introduced to Grace. From the moment that I met her, she exhibited extreme professionalism and a great sense of fashion. She did an amazing hair and makeup job on not only me but more importantly on the bride. From that moment on, I made it a point to have Grace do my hair. It's a shame not to have her in New Jersey as she would continue to be my beauty consultant.

Grace has been my stylist/colorist for 7 years now. So, when it came time to choose my stylist/makeup artist for my wedding, I chose Grace--not because of convenience, but because she is absolutely AMAZING...(and she's really cool). I was worried my curls would fall out since we were getting ready so much earlier than when the ceremony was taking place, or that all my dancing would bounce them straight!! By the end of the night, my hair still looked perfect! (And I did A LOT of dancing)....event the morning after they looked gretty!! My makeup was flawless. No smudging or running or anything! I didn't have to touch up at all....ok, well, maybe some lip gloss after dinner :) I would very highly recommend Grace. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and the fact I didn't have to worry about my hair/makeup the morning of, was a very big sigh of relief!

Grace did my hair for my girlfriend's wedding in May. I have a short bob haircut and was afraid I couldn't do much with it. Grace proved me wrong! I had brought a picture w/me and she mirrored it perfectly - even went above and beyond! I got so many compliments all day. Grace did my hair for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier. After consulting with Grace, we decided that since I always wear my hair down, I'd probably be the most comfortable doing that on my wedding day. I wanted it to look more special than every day though. Not only did she help me pick out and cut my extensions so that I could wear them on my wedding day but she put them in for my trial to calm my anxiety about wearing them. She also helped me choose the perfect hair clip to jazz up my 'do. My mother in law and mother were also really apprehensive about getting their hair done (being so set in their ways) and Grace did a trial for them as well to calm the momzilla nerves. She even worked with the moms on some strategically placed shorter extensions to add some body. She was SO patient with all of us through our pre-wedding concerns and never got frustrated with our inability to make a decision. On my wedding day, it rained cats and dogs, and Grace did everything in her power to make sure all of our hair stayed frizz free, and it definitely did! I got so many complements on all of our hair, and we couldn't have been happier once we saw the pictures. She also arrived early, and made sure everyone was on time. I'd highly recommend her for your special day. (She's also a fantastic makeup artist!)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grace and her exceptional bridal business! Grace did my hair and make-up (along with my 10 bridesmaids, mother and mother in law) on my wedding day two years ago and everyone was thrilled with her service!! Grace was my regular hair dresser while living in NJ so there wasn't even a question that I would hire her on my wedding day. I got married on 12/31/12 and had 5 bridesmaids along with my mother getting their hair done. All of the girls loved their hair and there was not one complaint. That says a lot, especially about picky girls!! My hair, came out perfect. I literally felt like a princess and it held all night with out looking like a helmet. Grace is also such a joy to be around and has so much pride in her work. She is exceptionally talented and is truly an artist.

I had an amazing experience with Grace on my wedding day. I was nervous for my bridesmaids because I knew they had a bad experience at our friend's last wedding. They weren't happy and they didn't want it to happen again. I was confidant I was going to look just like we had discussed and how amazing she made me look the day of my trial. My bridal party (and myself) looked absolutely stunning and most importantly to me was that she achieved a sophisticated yet natural look I was looking for.
