Great Band..... was great to work with planning the event from the very beginning, thorough in their preparation with a giant list o songs to choose from. Performance was awesome... everyone danced the night away and then some! Highly recommend them for your wedding or special event.

Honestly planning a wedding is one of the most stressful events you can go through. The two most important things you can have at a wedding to make it successfully (for the entertainment of your guests) is a good open bar and a bad ass band/DJ. Not knowing any DJs or Bands we were fortunate enough to book the best band on the market which is Groove Place LLC! This guys showed up with their game place and played the best tunes! We couldn’t be happier with the performance and coordination of this band! Dana did an amazing job meeting with us, as well as checking out the venue space (because we lived 4 hours away) to make sure everything was perfect. Our guests loved the band and will be talking about their performance for decades to come! They were truly the best and rocked the night away with amazing instrumentals and vocals to all our song requests! They even played Pepas by Farruko with their trumpet Player on the dance floor with our guest which was a special request by us. You will not find a better band on the market that is more accommodating or have the abilities of this amazing band! Weddings or events are stressful enough planning but having a amazing band coming up to perform and take the party to the next level is unreal expectation you should not over look! We are so happy we hired Groove Place to perform at our wedding after hearing them at two of my cousins' weddings several years ago! They truly made our wedding day so fun and memorable. The band was so friendly, professional, and personal and were interactive with the guests, keeping everyone on the dance floor the entire night! They are all so talented and know a tremendous amount of songs, and were excited to learn a couple of new songs for us. You could feel their love and excitement for what they do and it was contagious to everyone on the dance floor! We have gotten so many compliments from guests on how great and fun they were. We hired this band to perform at our wedding, and they delivered the absolute best possible performance we could have imagined!! They were super easy to work with, very responsive; especially the week leading up to the wedding (when you're most stressed). We asked them to learn several songs, which they not only did, but also played them so well, it was as if they were playing the tune for years. We recently got our wedding video back, and there wasn't a single song that our guests weren't on the dance floor. They have the absolute perfect mix of music to get folks of all ages up and out on the dance floor. Would absolutely book them again if we had to!!!!

Groove Place played at our wedding with their full 10-piece horn band and absolutely brought the house down. The dance floor was full all night long, and after the wedding, many of our guests let us know that this was one of the best bands they had ever seen at a wedding. All of the musicians were incredibly talented, and it was easy to see that they have great chemistry with each other and their audience. Dana, the band leader, was a pleasure to work with; he had a meeting with us to understand exactly what we were looking for from the band, reviewed the (enormous!) song list with us, and even learned a new song for our first dance. I cannot recommend this band highly enough. If they are available for your date, do yourself and your guests a favor and book them!

We LOVE Groove place!! They were very enthusiastic and energetic. The nine piece band kept our friends and family dancing the entire night. Dana was very organized and so nice to work with. The band learned some new songs for us and killed it!!! The three piece jazz band at cocktail hour was a lovely touch. We have heard nothing but great things from our guests about the band and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I first met Groove Place at my brother’s wedding over 6 years ago. They did such a fantastic job at my his wedding that family members would casually bring up how great they were in the following years. When I got engaged and my now husband told me that he wanted a band, we didn’t even bother looking around. Dana told me that since I last saw them, they have only gotten better. I seriously believe that that was an understatement. Once again, the dance floor was packed the entire evening. They did an incredible job at mixing in newer and older music so that everyone found something they liked. Our guests were raving about them on the way back to the hotel so they were once again a huge hit. Even with a postponement, Groove Place was so easy and fun to work with. We cannot thank them enough for making the night absolutely perfect.

Groove Place Band was awesome! The musicians were very skilled and the singers voices were the best. Their 10 piece band filled the venue with their superb music made all our guests want to dance. All our guests remarked how great the band was and how much they enjoyed them. They also learned songs that we specifically requested and they performed them to perfection. After seeing how amazing Groove Place was for my sister's wedding, it was a no brainer to hire them. They were our first call after we booked the venue! They are so professional and responsive with emails. Any questions or changes I had were met with flexibility and genuine care to make our day the best. We had a mix of all age groups and EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night! From our first dance to the end of the night, everything was perfect. We hired Groove Place for our wedding in June 2020. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 we had to reschedule our celebration to June 2021. Dana, the band leader, was easy to work with throughout the process and we are so glad we decided to have our full reception (and a HUGE 1st anniversary celebration) in June 2021. Because we were unable to meet in person Dana kept in touch with us via text, email and Zoom meetings. We knew having a horn band at our wedding was a non-negotiable. We interviewed several bands but once we saw Groove Place at a showcase we knew they were the band for us. We were impressed by Dana’s attention to detail and passion for the band. We could tell that each member of the band was dedicated to making our celebration memorable and went above and beyond to engage with our guests at the wedding. Several guests remarked that Groove Place was the best wedding band they’ve seen. They learned a few songs for us, including a special song for our father and daughter dance, and they welcomed Alex’s uncle to the stage to play alongside them. We had so much fun dancing to all of the music and even when the band took breaks they had an awesome pre-recorded playlist going and our guests were still dancing. Hire this band for my son’s wedding. They play the cocktail hour with a jazz ensemble and full 10 piece band for the reception We could not have asked for a better band. Dana the bandleader met with us and went over all the species and made sure our request we completed. He was in touch during our entire wedding planning. These guys and gals were awesome! Groove Place is one of the best wedding bands my wife and I have heard and it was so great to have them be a part of our wedding. Groove Place was the highlight of our reception! This band was great and learned all the songs we asked for. Dana (the band leader), was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. His easy-going attitude made it very comfortable to ask for changes or requests. The song selection process, organizing the timeline and set up was done flawlessly. And when it came time to play, these guys brought the house down. I am still receiving compliments on the band. At one point, we had a saxophone and a trumpet player playing out in the crowd. I can't say enough about how amazing Groove Place was. Honestly, a highlight of our wedding! First, Dana is amazing to work with. He is the first vendor we had to work on logistics with us, was organized, friendly, and thoughtful. We loved working with him and appreciated his fun, flexible attitude when we didn't always have answers for him. He was resourceful and made sure to get everything right even when we didn't give him guidance! Next, the band is INCREDIBLE! They were fun, engaging, and played music everyone loved. They did an awesome job with our song even though they had never used it before our wedding (We chose "you're my best friend" by Queen!) and a few of my relatives said they actually had to check sometimes to see if the music was live or if they'd started playing a CD all of a sudden. It sounded that good! If you are planning a wedding, your first question should not be "When is our venue available?" Instead, your first question should be "When is Groove Place available?" They made our night and were reasonably priced, to boot! We will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Our wedding was SO MUCH FUN thanks to these guys!

The band was so great! They learned a new song for us and played it beautifully and our entrance songs and first dance were perfect. In the middle of our reception the fire alarms went off and we were evacuated for about 20 minutes, but the band made it fun for everyone and continued playing on the steps of our venue. They were even accommodating with playing an extra 20 minutes for everyone once we were allowed back inside. HIGHLY recommend this band! They were nothing short of amazing!

This band blew it out of the park for my daughter's wedding at Skytop, PA. Everyone was dancing the entire night. It was a party that no DJ could provide. They were the talk of the guests that night and the weekend. I can't begin to tell you how many people came up to me and commented on how great they were. I had text messages the next day asking for the name of the band. My friends keep bringing up how unbelievable they were. Hearing the band in their home does not do it justice. Goove Place Dance Horn Band provided top-notch entertainment.. Dana was wonderful to deal with and he worked with my daughter and her fiance to learn songs that were important to them. Groove Place was nothing less than AMAZING at our wedding last weekend. From our initial meeting, Dana left us feeling reassured that he would make our wedding day very special. They did a fantastic job!! It all turned out very beautiful and fun. Everyone had an awesome time. The sets were great and everyone loved the music. I think I missed a lot from having to do pictures and cake and all that other stuff, but when I was able to make it to the floor, I had a great time. The kids were loving it too! The sax player played on the floor while the kids danced along! It was a wonderful night and they did an amazing job keeping everyone up and dancing and having fun! Groove Place played at my sister's wedding 6 years ago and my family STILL talks about how it was the most they've ever danced at a wedding. So when it came time to book a band for my wedding, Groove Place was the only option! From our first meeting with Dana we knew we were in good hands - he is so friendly, funny, and really knows what he's doing. Even with my countless emails leading up to the wedding he happily responded to each one! He spent time really listening to us and offered great advice from timeline logistics to song recommendations. They know exactly how to keep the momentum going at a party! Groove Place really goes above and beyond to make your day special and personal. My fiance surprised me by playing a beautiful piano song - Dana had been secretly working with him to make sure it was absolutely perfect! My wedding also happened to fall on the day of the Fiesta Bowl, so when Penn State won the band immediately played the fight song - everyone loved it! They learned a few songs for us and played them beautifully (including our bridal party entrance songs). Our first dance was to a Queen song and the band absolutely KILLED it! The dance floor was full the entire night - guests who claimed they "don't dance" couldn't tear themselves away. Dana and the band really made us feel so special and made our wedding absolutely perfect. Thank you Groove Place!!

Groove Place was AMAZING! So easy to work with, very responsive, and they truly know their craft. We knew that after going to their showcase at Dana's house we were in for something great, but that is an understatement. We chose the 10 piece band. He was accommodating, organized, and answered all of our questions without delay. On the night of, our guests couldn't stop talking about the band and how great they were. The two singers for the band were both excellent and had a really wide range which made for a varied performance and kept people of all ages up and dancing. I was always weary of reading these reviews on these wedding websites because either they're all glowing or filled with complaints, but let me tell you, I genuinely have no complaints about Groove Place! There are so many wonderful things I could say about Groove Place, that it's hard to know where to start. We knew after hearing the band play their first song at their showcase that they were the band for us! Dana and his crew were wonderful to work with. On the day of the wedding they arrived on time and set up sound for the outdoor ceremony...all during a heat advisory and epic humidity. We didn't have to worry about a thing! During the reception my maid of honor decided to rap and the band backed her up with a beat on the spot! They learned a few songs outside of their rep just for our reception and played them beautifully. I think I speak for everyone when I say we were blown away by you and your bands performance! I knew you guys would be good, but I had no idea you would be that great! The love train with the horns going in the loft, and your solos right in the middle of the crowd was awesome. The songs you played could not have been picked better. The fact that you guys learned Radar love complete with the guitar and drum solos was icing on the cake that we will never forget. You really did make the night even more special for us and we truly appreciate it. You were great to work with. We could tell from the start that you were the right choice and we never second guessed that. You put us at ease during the planning stages and totally blew the roof off the barn. Groove Place Dance Horn Band did an amazing job for us at our wedding that took place at the Horticulture Center. in Fairmount Park. From their showcase, planning along the way, and finally to our wedding, they kept everything going smoothly and kept our guests on their feet! We would definitely recommend Dana and his band. Dana is very accommodating and his main focus to make sure everyone is engaged and having fun dancing the night away. Groove Place Dance and Horn Band learned new songs for our special dances that weren't on their playlist and performed them beautifully. I knew Groove Place is a great band, because I heard them a year earlier at my cousin's wedding, but they exceeded every expectation I had. Dana was a pleasure to work with - very professional and detail-oriented, yet easygoing. They have an extensive, constantly-updating repertoire and plenty of old/new songs from which to choose a "must play" list, but they really know how to read and play to the crowd. Groove Place was one of the first bands recommended to us for our wedding (they have already done several other family weddings), but of course, we did our research and checked out a few showcases. It didn't take us long to realize that the first choice was the best choice! Not only for the quality of music and entertainment, but also for the price! They were an incredible 10 piece band. We had a wedding of over 200 guests and everyone was having an absolute blast. Their catalog was extensive and covered a very wide range of styles (which was crucial considering the age range of our guests). I cannot recommend this band enough! Do yourself a favor an check out one of their showcases before booking with anyone else.

Groove Place was very responsive to our requests, even re-learning a song at our request, they had a diverse range of music and did a wonderful job interacting with the crowd and keeping everyone energized and having a great time. Even 5 months after our wedding we still hear about how much people loved the band at our wedding, in fact many people said they were the best wedding band they had ever experienced. They also preformed at our ceremony and did a great job, even in the rain. They were definitely worth every penny and we would suggest them to anyone looking for a great live band for their event.

If you are looking for a band that will keep your guests up dancing all night, entertainment that will have your guests singing along with the music, and musicians and vocalists who give 200 percent all night long, then look no further. The Groove Place has now played for two of our daughters' weddings and we have been thrilled with their performance both times. Again, and again, our guests told us how much they loved the band and the way the musicians connected with the audience, who continued to request encores even after the reception was over. They are the absolute best ever!!!

First and foremost, booking Groove Place was the best decision we made. We booked Groove Place without seeing them in advance or word of mouth, but based on their amazing reviews, great youtube demos, and really versatile song list. They were amazing at our wedding! The band absolutely rocked and got everybody in the place dancing with gusto. I had several people come up to me and ask if the band would play in NY (for their wedding or son or daughter's wedding). A few people told me it was the best wedding band they've ever heard! Dana (the band leader) was very communicative, forthright and pleasant to deal with in planning the songs and order etc. He has a really nice disposition and I enjoyed working with him and never had to worry for a second about the reliability of the band. They absolutely rocked! I would unequivocally endorse them and recommend Groove Place!

We recently hired Groove Place for our wedding, and have nothing but great things to say. They upped the energy of the wedding crowd, and played both classic and modern hits. Both the male and female leads were excellent singers, and the horn players made the dance floor extra special. AMAZING! We booked Groove Place based on their reviews and videos. It was a leap of faith that paid off! From the very first correspondence with Dana we were extremely pleased and knew we made the right decision. His response time is like no other. His ability to get a feel for us and the atmosphere was top notch. The day of the wedding went perfect. They didn't miss a beat. I had no idea they even took a break! We have a large family, full of energy and they matched it. The dance floor was packed the entire night! our family favorite was Sweet Caroline. We do this at every family wedding... And there's been many. Everyone said this was the very best! My guess is neighbors for miles would say the same thing. On a scale of 1-10, Groove Place is a 100! I cannot give them a higher recommendation: from their performance, to the ease of dealing with them, to their wonderful personality and character, Groove Place is outstanding. They are the absolute best band I have heard at a wedding or worked with for a special event. Their song selection is fantastic, and they work closely with you to make sure you have all the songs you love as well as songs to fit the preferences of the crowd in attendance. Dana also worked with us to come up with a good schedule for the night, and he even made a custom song for our first dance. The energy of Dana and the band is amazing; he had all of our guests (of all ages!) up and dancing all night. Dana also does really killer versions of The best proof of how much we loved them is the fact that not only have they played my wedding, but they played at my sister's wedding, many family members wedding's, and ton of friends' wedding and parties. Each and every time they play an event for my family and friends, they are outstanding. You absolutely cannot go wrong by choosing them -- not only are we so happy with their performance, we consider Dana, the band leader, a friend :)

The band rocked it out. They played a variety of the songs we requested and ended up playing longer than we payed them for. Jamie is so easy to work with, and she really gets the crowd involved. They even learned a handful of songs that we couldn't live without!! They're the best.

Groove Place Band was absolutely amazing! We are still receiving compliments about them! The music they chose, the emceeing, the energy - all of it was fantastic! I saw people dancing that I never expected to dance. In my opinion having a live band at a wedding beats a DJ any day and Groove Place proved me right. They were amazing and the songs they covered sounded just like the real thing! My husband and I strongly suggest this band if you want your wedding to be a fun, fun time!

What more can we say that hasn’t already been said about Dana and the band Groove Place? From the first conversation we had with Dana (he called the day after we filled in the online info request form) to our goodbyes after the event and follow-up emails, it was a real pleasure working together. Dana is a real people-person and he wants his clients to be happy. He does whatever he can to fulfill any and all wishes. We had a 5 hour reception and he worked with us to have different musical arrangements (piano and trumpet at ceremony, jazz trio at cocktail hour, and full 9 piece band for the final three hours) throughout the entire event. Unfortunately Jamie was unable to perform at our wedding because of a health issue, but Sheena filled in spectacularly for her. Jamie, we missed you (!), but Sheena, our guests never even knew you were not the regular lead vocalist! Thank you for your rendition of “You’re the Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me”. We loved it. Our guests raved about the band all night and afterwards. We even had several male cousins on the dance floor and they said it was the highest compliment to the band because they never dance in public! We are so pleased that we chose Groove Place to make our party exactly what we wanted it to be. As an aside that may matter to some people, ours was the first same-sex wedding for Groove Place and we could not have felt more love and respect from the band. They really care about their customers.

Groove Place ROCKED the party! From the beginning, talking with Dana on the phone and meeting over the phone to the day of the event they were always so accommodating and professional! Whatever we wanted or needed they were willing to do it! They play a large variety of music for all different types of people. I recommend this band to ANYONE and EVERYONE! We found Groove Place online, looked at the reviews, listened to the demos, and went to see them live at one of their showcases. We are very serious about music! The showcase was awesome. They scrunched down a wedding reception into 40 minutes so we could hear snippets of all the different music they play, the way they make announcements, everything. They were awesome. About a year went by until we heard them again at our wedding and they were BETTER THAN WE REMEMBER! Guest after guest came up to me to tell me how great the band was and how much fun the wedding was. They really made the night! The brass section makes all the difference. It really gets guest's attention and gets them on the dance floor! Over the July 4th weekend we hosted a large engagement party in Maryland for our wedding guest unable to make the trip to Colorado. Groove Place had recently brought the house down for my cousin's wedding last year, so I had to bring them back. Dana made the whole process a breeze. Since we couldn't meet face-to-face, he Skyped with us to get to know each other and talked about how the party would go. He also set us up with a playlist that fit our audience perfectly. Since I grew up on an old tobacco farm, we hosted the party in an old barn. Groove place showed up in western attire to fit our theme. Despite the rain, they got the party started fast with some great country tune and then rolled right into the dance music. Everyone danced from the first song to the last. People were coming up to me and asking how they could book the band after three songs. Since it was also the 4th of July, we shot off some fireworks and Groove Place, of course, played Katie Perry's "Firework" to tie it all together. Perfection. I can't thank Groove Place enough for making our engagement party feel more like a wedding reception. We feel like they are part of the family now. Someone else will have to get married soon to have them back. They blew the barn doors off the place. Now I just need to figure out how to get them to Colorado. #grooveplacefanclub

When you have a wedding there is always only person that goes above and beyond , and for us that person was Dana at groove place. I never write reviews but felt it was nessesary to leave feedback because it was truly that good. One example of what occurred : our venue had recently had a band that came in and played too loud to the point that the authorities were called. Our venue then told us 2 weeks before the wedding that we could not have a band, and when I told Dana this issue it was almost instantly resolved. This is not your typical boy band that will sit there and play so loud you cannot have a conversation, this is a band that you will be off your seat dancing the entire night. My now wife and I were almost disappointed by all the food we got because everyone was up dancing having a good time. One thing I remember is when the saxophone came out from behind the band and started a Congo line that went 100 people long ! This is a band for any.and all occasions as I feel they would make you event as special as they made ours . Better than Perfect! Groove Place Band was one of the highlights of our reception. Dana, the band's manager, was a pleasure to work with every step of the way: responsive, timely, pleasant, and engaging. They read the crowd very well and are able to bring the attendees out of their seats. The volume was appropriate for all moments of the wedding; cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. All of the members were engaging, nice, and energetic, and they even came out onto the dance floor to dance and play their instruments. I could not have asked for a better wedding band, and I am a professional musician so my standards were high. Their prices are competitive, and they worth every cent. Only the best wedding reception band we've ever heard! Our daughter assured us Groove Place Dance Horn Band would be great, and they were -- danceable, recognizable music!!!! Their play list is extensive, so our daughter and her fiancé had plenty to choose from. They kept it sophisticated and up tempo without it being too loud (Thank You!!!) or too "young" so that all of us in attendance wondered what the music was. Everyone danced, all evening long. A great sound, a great evening -- thanks -- you really added to our spectacular evening of celebration.

We couldn't have been happier with The Groove Place. At first we had planned to use a DJ, however after going to see a showcase of them, we knew we had to book them. Dana was very responsive from start to finish. He was helpful with song selections and we trusted him and the band to do a good amount of this for us. They were spot on. Groove place was the band for my brothers wedding back in 2010! When my Fiance and I began planning our own wedding there was no question as to who we wanted to play at our wedding!!! They traveled probably over 5 hrs to come to upstate NY from PA!! They learned our first dance and created a rendition that was better than the original!!! They created a party that people can not stop talking about!!! They made a lasting impression on all the guests there! I can not say enough about how great it was to work with Dana Camacho! Groove Place was absolutely perfect for our wedding band! They were such a pleasure to work with and were so quick to respond to any questions or ideas I had throughout the planning process. When my husband and I went to their showcase in search of our wedding band we made a deal in the car that we weren't going to book the first band that we saw...Well, we broke our own promise and were blown away by their talent; vocals, energy and professionalism the first night at their showcase. We got back into the car afterwards and my husband turned to me and said, "I want that band for our wedding" to which I immediately replied, "Done!" They are very reasonably priced and their music and entertainment was amazing! They learned a new song for my first dance with my dad, no problem, and made it so special. They had great suggestions of their own too. I surprised my husband with a zombie grooms cake and they came up with the idea of playing "Thriller" to go with the zombie theme! It was a huge hit! There was so much energy and our entire wedding was on the dance floor the whole time. We actually extended the night because we were having so much fun and no one wanted to go home! I would highly recommend Groove Place to any bride looking for a wedding band that wants her guests to be comfortable and dance the night away! All of our guests were and still are raving about their wide range of musical genre ability. Throughout the night they played music that all of our guests could enjoy which meant the most to my husband and I. I can't say enough great things about this band except I wish we could do it all over again and re-play that night again. If you book Groove Place your reception can't go wrong!

Groove Place was great at our wedding. There were a lot of compliments during the wedding and after. Having a 9 piece horn band is, simply put, awesome. Our first dance was "I can't take my eyes off of you" by Frankie Valentine, and my bride and me had a choreographed dance that needed the song played precisely. Dana and his team did it. Everyone loved our dance, and that relied on the audio queues from the song. They also have a great mix of new songs (2013) and going all the way back to the early 1900s. Dana and his band are very friendly and their prices are reasonable. They will also learn new songs for your event (they did for ours). If you are looking for a band then definitely give these guys a chance. I did, and if I could go back in time would do so again.

I can't begin to say enough good things about Groove Place. They were an awesome, awesome band! They sounded and looked absolutely amazing up on stage! They played the entire evening and had everyone, young and older, up out of their seats and dancing the WHOLE night! During the wedding guests were coming over asking where I found this band and telling me how good they sounded. Weeks after the wedding I am still having guests tell me how amazing the band sounded. I would highly recommend Dana and this band... just fantastic! The next event I have I will most definitely be using Groove Place. I can't say enough great things about them!! I have only positive things to say about Groove Place. From start to finish they were absolutely great to work with! Dana, the band manager is so organized. He has quick responses and always give the details necessary; he is concise and to the point but detailed enough to know exactly what is going on. The planning process was wonderful, we did not know what to expect but Groove Place knows what they are doing and helped us through every step of the way! The day of the wedding, I was so distracted with everything going on and I did not have to think about the band. When we came into the reception, the leader of the band came to check in with us and his confidence and calmness took all of my cares away and I knew that I was in good hands! The presentation of all the names - and we had some difficult names - was absolutely flawless and each transition was smooth and they were flexible even when we asked to change something up at the last minute. The band could read the crowd and kept everyone dancing the entire time. They played songs that such a huge range of people wanted to dance to. Out on the dance floor were young adults, children, and grandparents. Groove Place knows how to party! My dad, who was the most skeptical about the band, said that getting the band was THE best decision we made, he said he could not have been happier about their professionalism and performance. Everyone was telling us at the wedding how much they loved the band and they still talk about it - two years later! Having Groove Place play at our wedding is the best decision we made :)

The event venue manager talked to me about making them one of their preferred bands! If you want a band that understands how to rock a Wedding, relates to the audience, gets everyone dancing, then Groove Place is the band! Now the details.... a successful event takes planning; it's not only the music. Their band manager, Dana Camacho, is extremely competent and experienced with Wedding events. He understands the planning process, listens to your needs, is readily available to answer questions and worked extremely well with our wedding planner, venue manager, sound company and, of course, us. We met early, picking through their substantial song list, worked out timing and schedule and what we wanted. He then worked with our planner and caterer for a seamless integration. He also took charge in resolving a concern about the in-house sound system and the venue constraints we had. Dana visited the site and came up with a solution that resulted in an incredible event! He knows what is needed behind the scenes to make it effortless. We had a lot of confidence in him and the Band. He also addressed our questions on back-up contingencies, eliminating anxiety about unforeseen illnesses on the part of any of the band members. Now the performance! From the incredible vocals and presence of Bobby Jones and Jamie, to the awesome horn section, the rocking guitars and drums, they have a great presence! They interacted with the audience, knew how best to sequence the songs, were very flexible and moved with the vibe of the crowd! We felt they understood that it was our wedding and our enjoyment was the most important thing to them. We highly recommend Groove Place for any event!

I heard Groove Place play at a local bar/restaurant near my house a few years ago and knew right away that they were amazing and unlike any band I had ever heard. Their charisma, ability to get a crowd going, and musical talent is really special. I recommended them to my sister, cousin, and several friends for their wedding and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! Of course, I had them at my wedding, which was recently, and I have to say that they made the event absolutely perfect. Everyone was dancing the entire night and commenting on how awesome the music was. I would highly recommend Groove Place to any couple in need of an amazing 10 piece band for their wedding. Bobby did a great job as an MC with names and introductions as well. They've got a great list of songs and absolutely made the party special at our wedding reception. Throughout the whole process from the first introductory email to the final song Groove Place was professional. There all great musicians and singers and everyone there was coming up to us saying how great the band is and how much fun they're having. The next day received texts and emails saying how much fun the wedding was and obviously it was the band who made it. They provided the perfect atmosphere and energy no matter if it was a slow or fast dance song. Would easily recommend this band for anyone looking to book a band for their wedding. By far the best price for the best talent out there in the Phila area.

If there were more stars then 5, Groove Place would receive it. Every band member was so pleasant and they did a fantastic job at our wedding reception. Many of our guests commented that they were blown away by the band's performance. A special thanks to Dana, he really worked with us to get to know my husband and what our guests would like. He even worked with our banquet hall contact to see if any additional equipment would be necessary. After hearing them at a showcase they set my expectations really high, and they definitely far exceeded them. I would recommend this to any bride planning their wedding.

We recently had Groove Place perform at our backyard Wedding Reception. From the very start Dana and all of the members of the band were such a pleasure to work with. Come the day of the Wedding they arrived earlier than expected and were up and running with out a hiccup. As far as the music is concerned Groove Place did an absolutely amazing job. They had the whole dance floor packed for 3.5 straight hours singing along word for word. After the reception we had a ton of guests tell us Groove Place was the best Wedding Band they had ever seen over the years. Groove place is AMAZING! When I found my wedding venue, the manager there just had her daughter's wedding and the first thing she told me was "you HAVE to get the same band". I am so happy I took her advice. We had the whole ten piece band so you can imagine the sound was awesome , not to mention that they can really rock a party. I swear we did not have one person sitting down at our reception; everyone was up and dancing! In our post-wedding conversations with family and friends, we honestly lost count of how many people talked about how awesome the band was. Thank you so much Dana and Groove Place!! Oh and of course I can't forget to mention how they are great in working with you and communicating before the big day; my dad and I sang a duet and the band was totally cool about playing the song for us and it turned out so wonderful and one of the most special moments of not only that night but it is now one of the most precious memories my dad and I have forever. We booked Groove Place for our wedding in September and they were hands down INCREDIBLE!!! I couldn't be more happy with them! The quality of their songs is amazing and they certainly know how to get the crowd going. They had guests of ours who don't normally dance getting down on the dance floor! At one point we literally could not fit any more people out there - it was awesome! Dana was wonderful to work with and Groove Place was extremely accomodating to any requests and last minute changes we made. My Dad is a musician as well so I had asked Dana if he could play a few songs with the band, and they were extremely welcoming of the idea. My dad fit right in and I know it meant a lot to him to be able to play at his daughter's wedding. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Groove Place for your next event - you will not be disappointed!!! I can't say enough about how fantastic Groove Place sounded at our wedding. Our friends and family were blown away. From the jazz during cocktail hour, to the upbeat yet appropriate dinner music, into the dancing; our guests of all ages truly enjoyed themselves. Can’t say enough good things about Groove Place. They kept telling us they were ready to rock at our wedding and boy did they deliver. Everything was handled very well from our meetings through to the end of the performance. They were very flexible and handled all of our special requests. Dana, I don't know we're to start, the band was terrific. I told my wife that people were looking for reasons to approach us just to say how incredible the band sounded. They couldn't believe that I found you on the Internet. When Don and Melissa attended Lehigh they were both members of Kappa Kappa Si, which is a band fraternity. Melissa was the chapter's president. There were alot of musicians that attended the wedding and they were impressed. If the music and vocals weren't spot on they would have known. People were telling Don before the reception started that he should have brought his horn, we didn't want to give the suprise away. The horn section really completes your sound. When you played "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant"my wife and I kept turning around to hear the piano and tenor sax. They are both unbelievable! What else can I say, a relative of Melissa ' s who's from Long Island New York took a business card. She said I live 4 hours away and wanted something to remember the band with. I guarantee that 99.9% of the people won't remember what they had for dinner but will remember the band, even if we had fed them hot dogs with a side of sawdust! Groove Place was awesome!!!! Our dance floor was packed all night and our guests raved about them. They even stuck it out through a crazy thunderstorm. They were super flexible and even learned some songs that my family specifically requested. We want to have another wedding just to have Groove Place again!!!

Groove Place has a special place in my heart for two reasons... First, they played for Brother's wedding and completely brought everyone to their feet and on the floor. Secondly, we had the privilege of having them play my wedding at HollyHedge Estate! Groove Place is an amazing ten piece horn band, who can (and will) play any song under the sun, and will do so to perfection. We also hired them to do a 3-piece jazz ensemble for our cocktail hour, which added even more musical fun, especially since they played on a balcony over-looking the courtyard. During the reception, people were not even eating their dinners right away, but were going on the floor to dance. As soon as the parent dances were over, everyone jumped right onto the floor, and it stayed that way through the rest of the night. People were sad when the night was over! Dana will listen very carefully to what you say as you plan the night out, and will deliver everything as promised. They do a wonderful job with master of ceremonies duties. I cannot say enough, and neither could our guests, as all loved the night and all the great dancing Groove Place brought to our wedding! They will also do ancillary requests, like providing a mic and speaker for the ceremony, if it is on-site. Highly recommend Groove Place for your big day!!!
