I can't express enough how amazing our food was at our wedding. We went with the BBQ option and it was perfect. I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and said they ate too much because it was so good. I highly recommend this to couples for their wedding. service and food was phenomenal!

Oh my gosh, Hammans was the best vendor! Their food is amazing. They were so professional and easy to work with throughout the wedding process. I couldn’t recommend them enough! We got so many compliments on our wedding food.

Hammann's refuses to post their prices Hammann's Catering refuses to post their prices on any of their salads/dips.. they insist that you ask the prices for ea and every item !!.. Which is not good for : Esp’ly when speaking less is desired w/ the masks. ; and We should be able to see the prices [so that I can decide] while waiting [w/o having to ask.].. [..w/o having a clerk wait for me to decide.]. we have to ask the price for ea and every item we may be interested in.. They still cant explain why they cant just have a daily price list posted [ea day] for their salads [when they place their daily salads out].. ..[like all other stores do.. Put prices on their items.] – [daily=they can change this daily if needed.] Or as told.. ‘go to your online site’ to find the prices! I was told by their clerk to “ take my $$$$$ to Krogers..” ! No problem, as Krogers.cheese is ½ the $ of Hammanns. Just seems to be that’s an odd way to run a business !

We had the Texas barbecue package with an on-site smoker for our wedding this fall for 130 guests. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was so delicious including the several vegetarian meals we asked for. They were very flexible to work with and affordable! Highly recommend!

I’ve never heard so many guests rave about the food at a wedding. We had chicken in a white wine sauce, brisket, and a lot of southern sides and it was incredible! It was a real meal and not even close to the typical “wedding food.” I’d recommend them for any occasion you need catering for, they’re great an very reasonable!

I would definitely recommend Hammann's. The food was delicious! We received many compliments from our guests' about how the food tasted more home cooked than catered. The staff was professional, friendly, & flexible starting from the tasting, all the way up to our wedding day! The price was affordable. We were very happy!

Fantastic food and service! I heard so many compliments on how great the food was. I couldn't have been happier! as the bride I ate made sure to have time to eat my whole plate!

Hamman’s was awesome! From being flexible with food tastings, to helping customize our appetizers and dinner menus, they really helped make our day flawless and stress free. We had mini skyline coneys for an appetizer and our guests loved them and we had nothing but good reviews with the dinner service. Only bad thing is they said they would serve the bridal party a champagne toast with champagne flutes and that did not happen. They also ran out of Makers Mark fairly quickly but our guests do like to party!

Food was great, however they showed up late to our reception because of a “train.” Very frustrating because I even told them that the ceremony started at 6, when the ceremony actually started at 6:30 and they were still late. They didn’t have enough staff to help unload the food and because of the lack of time, the groomsmen had to pitch in and help. At the end of the night, the caterer just left the food and no one got to take home the leftovers. My husband and I barely got to eat because of how busy the wedding was, and we were so looking forward to the leftovers and unfortunately didn’t get them. Last but not least. The caterer couldn’t find the parents of the bride, so interrupted the bride on the dance floor in hopes to collect the tip. Again, the food was great, but the service and organization at the actual event was definitely lacking.

All of our guests told us they loved the food. It was a big hit. The staff was super helpful prior to the wedding and setting up. They were very affordable as well.

Our food was a huge hit thanks to Hammann's! A very country feel which was perfect for our country/rustic theme. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, and many went back for seconds. I was referred by a friend from high school, and I would refer anyone to use them! They provided linens, silverware, plates, and many other things with the food. They worked diligently with me to make sure they could offer delicious food within my budget, and always made sure we were satisfied. The only negative thing about the night was that we paid extra for them to stay until the end of the night to assist in our clean up after the reception which was scheduled at 10:30 p.m. They hurriedly started cleaning up everything at 10:00 p.m., and were quickly gone by 10:15 p.m. leaving many items to be cleaned up. Since that was an extra request, I still gave them 5 stars because as far as catering is concerned, they were wonderful!

Awesome job!! Thank you for such wonderful food and excellent staff & service.! Were able to provide great service within limited space and very little air-conditioning on a very hot day. Great food too! I would recommend these folks to anyone in the Dayton/Cinci area.

I am giving five stars to Hammann's for their INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS food! I did not hear a single negative bad thing said about our food that day. However, I never saw any salad dressing for my salad and there were supposed to be two of them. The little amount of left overs we had spoke volumes about how wonderful the food was. I am also giving five stars to Beth for her super quick response rate. However, I am giving two stars to their promptness on the day of the wedding. They had told me there were going to arrive at 3:45 to set up. They did not arrive until 4:30, when the ceremony was set to begin. We had to delay the start of the ceremony for them because we were having a cocktail hour afterwards and I wanted to make sure they were ready to go. A bride has enough to worry about and I almost had a panic attack the day of the wedding. I am only giving a five because they are affordable and provide delicious food. Hammann's is definitely a big bang for the buck! I just wish they would have shown up at the time I was told they would be there. If you book with Hammann's, make sure you tell them to be there thirty minutes prior to when they say! I DO recommend them just make sure they know time is of the essence.

Phenomenal business with even more amazing staff! Not being from Cincinnati, we first heard of Hammann's from our venue and never looked back. Upon first meeting, their hometown business model solidified our feelings that they would accommodate in anyway we wished. When all was said and done, we had an exceptional meal at a reasonable rate and received linens that changed the look of our venue dramatically! Prior to wedding planning, I would have said I was "easy going," but when considering details after months of planning, I was very specific and Hammann's accommodated for every wish. Considering a guest list of >300, my father was even served vegetables without pepper as requested months before simply to please him when I had completely forgotten about that minor request. We were blown away by Hammann's professionalism and service, as they exceeded all expectations. HIGHLY recommended, as we will be using them again in the future.

Hammann's did such a fantastic job catering for our wedding. Everyone was raving about the food and how delicious everything was (especially the garlic mashed potatoes and the macaroni and cheese). Very professional staff and everything ran very smoothly for the reception. We also decided to have our rehearsal dinner catered and the price in comparison to other places was much more reasonable and even better food!!

Not only was the food amazing and hot on our wedding day, but the service was awesome! Everything appeared to run smoothly on our wedding day and that's all i could ask for! The way the food was presented was beautiful! They even packaged our leftovers for us to take home! We enjoyed them during our honeymoon! I recommend them very much!

Hammanns did an awesome job on our wedding catering. Everything was perfect! They are also very flexible so you can have everything you want. My work always uses Hilvers and they are nasty compared to Hammanns.

Rob Hammann runs an amazing business! His food is wonderful and his service was great!! I was so happy with my choice of caterer.

I'm SO happy I chose Hammann's to cater my recent wedding. Rob (the owner) & Beth (the office manager) were wonderful to work with from beginning to end, and after. They were extremely accommodating and helpful. We had smoked meats & an assortment of sides and everything was delicious! My guests raved of the quality. I can't say enough good things about this family owned business.

Rob is so wonderful to work with! He is so sweet and really cares about what you want. And the food is AMAZING! Everyone was talking about how wonderful our beef brisket was that they smoked ON site! They also did a mashed potato bar for us that was so incredible. And best of all, their prices were incredibly reasonable, especially for how wonderful their food was. I was so impressed with them and would recommend them to EVERYONE.

The food was fine and they were good about communicating with me before the wedding. But the day of e wedding was disappointing. They ran out of food even though they said we would have leftovers. So e guests did not get to eat. And they pushed us to cut the cake early because they wanted to leave. They did not say beforehand that they would leave right after dinner. They just said they would provide cake cutting service and coffee.

Any bride or wedding guest knows it comes down to the food and music as to what people will remember most!! Rob and the other workers at Hammann's were amazing to work with. They cleared all the china in a timely manner. Rob did checks with us and said goodbye prior to him personally leaving for the night! They went above and beyond to ensure everything was spectacular. Guests were commenting all night about how good and flavorful the food was. They were all full which is a good sign for any catering business and bride!!! We had them grill onsite where the ceremony location was taking place and you wouldn't have ever known! I could not say how much I loved working with Hammann's and having them at my wedding. Everything was fantastic and highly recommend them to all brides or businesses looking for catering. I loved working with this family catering service!!!

We paid for 90% of the wedding ourselves so when we found Hammann's we were so happy. Food was incredible and the price was excellent for the amount of food we had. I think after all was said and done, with extra sides and take-home containers for the cake, we paid about $8 to $9 per head. Our budget and tastebuds were both extremely happy! :) The catering staff was quick to set up and break down so that the party wasn't delayed in getting started. Fabulous food, efficiency and courtesy - a few of my favorite things and Hammann's offered them all.
