The venue offers plenty of incredible photo opportunities, including their abundant gardens, an oak forest, and cozy spots such as reading nooks, hammocks, and porch swings. Ceremonies take place outdoors amongst the trees with HeartRocks signature heart-shaped stones scattered across the venue, a beautiful and unforgettable touch. The space can accommodate up to 200 guests. HeartRock VA offers overnight accommodation for up to 15 guests, making it a perfect choice for the wedding party. Traveling guests will appreciate the closeness of the cities of Charlottesville and Lynchburg. There are a variety of activities available in the area, perfect for a fun getaway. The Gathering Room is HeartRocks newest overnight space and was built with wedding preparation in mind. Caterers can access The Gathering Rooms kitchen to prepare delicious meals, and the space can also be used as a cloakroom. Whatever your wedding dreams may be, HeartRock VA will help you bring them to life.

My husband Greg and I met in 2000, and have been working hard ever since. Whether it was building an off grid home in the mountains of Colorado, or a wedding venue in the Blue Ridge Valley, we have always had vision for growth. The rough patches along the way have left us with many scars that hold redeeming stories, and humbling experiences which bring us back to our roots. We love God, people, and community. Our motto is, "It takes a village", and we are here for you to help start the rest of your life!

aspects there at heartrock, the nature, the pond, the garden, the woods, the flowers, it’s just so naturally beautiful! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was! The houses are also amazing, comfy and cozy! We were able to have all my bridesmaids stay the night before and after the wedding, it was so special for me to have that time with them! We also had our rehearsal dinner down by the house which was so aesthetic with the hanging lights and the intimate space for all of us to eat and do speeches the night before the wedding. Kimmie and Greg are hands down the most loving and helpful wedding coordinators. They went above and beyond to make my wedding dream come true! They wear many hats and it’s actually fascinating to see how talented they are in so many different departments. They created the ceremony space which is stunning, in the woods, with these hand built wooden benches! The tent pitched at the top of the field was so beautiful. We had about 140 guests at the wedding, the parking worked out so well and it was a great space to host that many. I will forever reminisce on the most beautiful, best day at heart rock! I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding, retreat or even a couple getaway at HeartRockVa!

re not only our venue, but also our florists and wedding coordinators, and they went above and beyond in every way. The type A over planner in me was definitely a little stressed leading up to the day, but the Heartrock team did everything possible to keep me calm and happy. They anticipated what I needed before I even had to ask, handled every detail so gracefully, and made sure I could truly enjoy the moment. The flowers were breathtaking, and the entire day felt effortless and full of joy. Heartrock didn’t just give us a gorgeous setting — they gave us the most perfect, love-filled day we could have imagined. I’ll be forever grateful for them.

and my big family had, while staying at HeartRock. Each room in the houses were unique and beautifully crafted. And might I add so comfortable. I had the most amazing micro wedding at HeartRock! But don’t worry brides HeartRock has lots of room to host larger wedding events too! You can truly tell how much love and hard work Kim and her husband puts into each person’s stay at HeartRock. Myself and my now husband, love and appreciate Kim, Greg, Bilbo the cat, and HeartRock so much that we want to host family reunions at HeartRock so we can keep coming back to this beautiful piece of land. And continue to make more beautiful memories. We appreciate every thing Kim and Greg did between filling up the house with groceries to helping set up our wedding day. Might I suggest adding Kim and Greg for bartending in your wedding package, Kim’s pouring skills are phenomenal. ❤️

It was exactly the blend of whimsy and grace we were dreaming of. The Heart Rock team was absolutely incredible — organized, kind, and so clearly passionate about creating a space for love and celebration. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and they truly brought our vision to life. e views, to working with the owners and being able to customize our wedding to exactly what we wanted: it was all so perfect. Kim and Greg are the kindest and most wonderful hosts, super fun and personable to work with and really accommodating. It even rained on the morning of our ceremony, and Kim and Greg were there on site to help everything run smoothly and work out the kinks. The venue is gorgeous in a natural way with lots of space, and the lodging for the wedding party was exactly what we needed to prepare in the days leading up to it. This is also hands-down the most affordable venue ever, especially considering everything offered in their package.

mp. I have never met anyone so dedicated to making a vision come true and who would search high and low to make it happen. I never once had to worry about coordination other than telling her my colors and my favorite flowers! I was looking for an elegant whimsical feel and HeartRock delivered. Not to mention her day of set up was FLAWLESS. eg, are absolutely fantastic-- they want nothing more than to help give you the wedding you want and this shines through with every interaction. The space itself is gorgeous, with a field, tent site, pond, forest, and goats! The two houses on the property allowed my groomsmen and the bridesmaids to get ready separately and the kitchen and big fridges were incredibly helpful in getting food ready. My wife and I spent the night in the treehouse after the wedding which so suits our personalities. In summary, the space is incredible, the people are exemplary, and if i had to do it over again I wouldn't change a thing.

r the duration. Both units were equipped with all the things we needed and were spacious enough for us to be able to stretch out and relax before, during and after the wedding. There is even a sweet little private tree house on the property with hammock swings deep in the woods. We chose this space for so many reasons. The yard, the farm, the woods, the mountains, the gardens! THE Gardens are a spectacular back drop for a wedding! Beautiful flowers are EVERYWHERE! With about 60 people on site, we had more than enough room in the yard and on the property to move around. We all enjoyed picnicking on the property under the massive shade trees and the short walk down the trail to the beautiful pond. (The shade was very important to us as we have elderly family members and June can be a very hot month! There are also two large shaded porches which were a huge plus for us!!) Our favorite part was the handmade wooden twin size swing overlooking the outdoor tubs and forest during the day and at night that’s where we snuggled up to watch the stars and the fireflies. Kim was an absolute dream to work with. She’s friendly, positive and outgoing! There is nothing that woman can’t do! She, her husband Greg and daughter Sophia are a solid, hard working team. We had everything we needed and more. I wouldn’t change a thing! So thankful for this little slice of Heaven!
