First I would like to say that Karen Dragel was great! She is the Manager of the Event coordinator for the hotel. She was very helpful, loving and supportive with my thousand emails and phone calls. lol..The day was great and the outside space was always great. The food was amazing hot and fresh and the wait staff was on top of it. The bartender made the drinks very good and not watered down! The only 3 problems that bothered me was it was hot as hell in the reception hall and cool everywhere else and when they finally brought out the fans it was blowing out hot. I think that’s why some of the guests left early because it was hotter in there than outside. The second problem was that the gazebo was supposed to be painted and it still look run down and also the where the ceremony was held look like a jungle. They call themselves cleaning it up but they could have done better. Also the tower we stayed at only had one working elevator which made us late for the ceremony because people were checking in and checking out. After all that I would definitely recommend this hotel to have a wedding at it’s clean, convenient and the decor in the inside is well maintained and updated.

Toni and the staff at the Hilton Chicago Northbrook were very helpful in getting the booking site set up, making sure our guests rooms were ready on time, and distributing the guest gift bags. The facility is very nice, with ample parking. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, allowing us all to get a good night sleep after a day of hard wedding partying.

The Hilton in Northbrook/Chicago offers an elevated expression of luxurious, wedding glamour. My husband and I selected this venue to celebrate our wedding reception, mainly for two BIG reasons: They allowed us to bring our fury babies/dogs (whom we can’t part from) to the hotel and reception, and the wedding coordinator Karen Dragel - was an absolute joy to work with!
From the time I stepped into the hotel while venue shopping 5 months before our big day, up until the wedding reception ended, every moment on the property, and every member of their staff, made us ALL feel valued, as their special guests. The service was simply outstanding! The ballroom was spectacular, our bridal suite was beyond comfortable, the scenic natural beauty of their outdoor gardens were absolutely breathtaking for taking pictures, and the menu we selected was scrumptious and delightful. Karen went above and beyond, and orchestrated everything to fall in place, in ensuring my wedding reception was perfect! All our guests were raving about the impeccable service. Whomever, Karen recommended for our vendors, from the DJ and photographer/videographer, to our wedding cake and floral/decor vendors, were all beyond outstanding! To this day, I can still close my eyes and reminisce the glory and joy of our wedding reception, that was all made possible, by Karen Dragel and the Hilton at Northbrook/Chicago- A fairytale dream come true :)

My husband and I got married at the Hilton Northbrook/Chicago on 09/24/22. We booked our venue July of 2021. After signing the contract, my main contact person changed twice, which didn't leave me feeling too great, but we rolled with it. For reference, Karen was our coordinator for the day of. Let me preface this and say- THEY WERE EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. We had our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. When we got there, I had to track down someone to take us back to our private room. Service took forever and we basically had to pour our own wine the entire dinner. Now onto the wedding day and everything that went wrong and what the hotel did to make it up to us after the fact. 1. Ceremony time as discussed was 5pm, bumping to 5:15pm if there were any stragglers. We were told by Josie, who was associated with the catering staff, that the ceremony couldn't start until 5:30pm because cocktail hour didn't start until 6pm. We ended up starting at 5:20pm or so. When discussing our issues with Karen later, she said it was our DJ delaying the time, which was not true. 2. Now let's get to the issue with the "bartender" at our wedding: a) My husband provided his own bottle of whiskey and told Karen that the whiskey we provided would be for my husband ONLY. My husband went up for his first drink and found that 90% of the bottle was already poured to other guests without my husband's permission. Our photographer ended up ordering a replacement bottle for us and the vendue did reimburse us for this. b) We had signature drinks at our wedding and my husband's was an old-fashioned. I created bar menus for our guests. The hotel staff overseeing our wedding apparently did NOT know how to make an old-fashioned, nor did they ask the actual bartender that they have on staff at their restaurant because they were making the drinks with Sprite instead of simple syrup and then proceeded to blame ME for not including it on the bar menu. 3. Cake cutting - we had two different flavors of cake. Only one was served to our guests and the remainder (excluding the top tier) was thrown out....which leads me to... 4. THIS VENUE WILL NOT BOX YOUR FOOD FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A FOOD MINIMUM. We ordered extras in order to meet our food minimum and it was NOT communicated to us that the venue will not save the food that we paid for. When I found out the night of the wedding, I was told VERY rudely by Josie that "We don't box food." Josie should not be communicating with any guests. We were refunded half of the plated meals for people who were not able to show last min but that's all. If I would have known this prior to signing with the venue, I would NOT have signed with them in the first place. 5. They messed up our honeymoon suite. When we originally toured the venue, we were shown The Waterford Suite. The Alpine Suite was booked for us by mistake (a room with a murphy bed, c'mon). I didn't know the names of the rooms prior and once I saw the room, I had to spend 30-45 mins out of my reception getting it sorted out. The hotel did end up giving us rewards points to use at any Hilton later on in apology for the mixup. 6. At the end of the evening, the staff did help box and clean up all of our stuff, but we were told we could not store any of the items in any of their extra rooms and I had to organize getting all of those items up to our suite. After everything else that happened that evening, this was just icing on the horrible cake.

Maureen and her team at the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook are some of the best in the industry. Our wedding was amazing and we are so thankful Maureen was our wedding coordinator. She took our vision and brought it to life. It was beautiful and elegant. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about the great time they had and the food. The food was delicious and if you are looking for food outside the traditional dried piece of chicken, this place works with you on a menu that your guests will love. Our cocktail hour was a hit with grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, bbq meatballs and even sushi. Our dinner included sirloin, chicken stuffed with gouda and panchetta, and our vegetarian dish was a portabello mushroom stuffed with feta and grilled vegetables. We had a late night snack option of sliders and chicken fingers/mozzarella sticks. We received so many compliments on the menu and it was all because Maureen took her time helping us craft the one that worked for us. Truly amazing venue and staff!

My husband and I wanted to have a brunch for our 50th wedding anniversary. We wanted people to visit and be able to move easily around the room.
These are some of the many things we greatly appreciated about the care we received at the Northbrook Hilton:
The catering manager was patient and very helpful as we worked through the process.
The size of the room was perfect for the size of our group-not too big, not too small. It was easy to move around.
The placement of the coffee, bar, and buffet helped to allow people to visit naturally.
The lighting, microphone, and audio were very good suggestions for the size of the room.
The staff was very accommodating, and worked quickly to remove plates, and replenish water and the buffet was always plentiful.
Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, and we were so impressed with the beautiful presentation.
The dessert table looked wonderful and all comments indicated that it tasted as good as it looked.
The chef made sure that there were dishes that were free of tree nuts and also that there wheat free choices. All of the dishes were labeled so no one had to wonder about food choices.
We were not having a cake, but among all of the pastries, the pastry chef included a beautiful and delicious cake. She would have had no way of knowing, but our wedding cake was chocolate and that was very rare 50 years ago!
We opted for a pay per glass for the bar because of the time of the day, and it worked out very well.
The manager helped us determine how many tables we would need in addition to the eating tables and where they should be placed.
During the course of our event, several managers came and found my husband or myself to be sure that all was going well.
It was a pleasure to work with the staff from the first day we met until we thanked them for a wonderful event!

We had the most amazing wedding reception at the Hilton Chicago Northbrook! Senior Catering Manager Maureen Schoenbauer and the staff there are top notch, and they made everything perfect for us. From the beginning, they were very easy to work with and very responsive to questions. We originally had booked a dinner reception on Oct. 5 and ended up switching the date to Oct. 19 and changing it to a brunch buffet reception. They were very helpful and accommodating with everything! We were so happy with our brunch, the food was amazing, it looked so beautiful, and the desserts were awesome! We received so many compliments on how good the food tasted and how pretty the displays were! Our 110+ guests were very happy with brunch, which had so many options on it, salads, breakfast, lunch, shrimp, and salmon, etc, etc.
I highly recommend The Hilton for your reception!!
Maureen is the best! She is so fun and organized and has such great ideas. She kept us in the loop about who was making reservations in the room block we had reserved at the hotel. She called and asked us questions about what we would like. She organized our rehearsal dinner for Friday night at Allgauer's Restaurant (inside the hotel). I felt like I wasn't worried because my reception and guests were in good hands at the Hotel. We looked at a lot of different venues before picking this one, and we were very impressed to come across an established venue, with experienced staff, where the Catering Manager (Maureen) knows what she is doing when it comes to events at her hotel! And everyone that works there was super friendly too.
We booked the hotel shuttle to take everyone to our rehearsal on Friday night, and to take guests to the ceremony on Saturday morning. Being able to book a shuttle was very convenient. Have to reserve the shuttle ahead of time, which wasn't a problem.
We stayed in the hotel for the weekend, along with many of our out-of-town family members, and we had the best time visiting with all of them Saturday night after the reception was over. We had a hospitality room but there are so many little spots around the hotel with lots of seating areas including a very large pool area with a hot tub. So our families had lots of places to sit and visit, which was so much fun. And we all were able to connect on Sunday morning again for breakfast before everyone went home.
We were able to go outside with our photographer around 5pm as the reception was winding down and take some photos outside of the hotel. There is some nice green space around there, with a pond and a gazebo. We are confident we made the right choice in choosing the Hilton for our reception and for our room block, and especially that we changed the date to the 19th, we had gorgeous weather that day. (Oct. 5th was very rainy and cold!) Thank you to Maureen and the Hilton Chicago Northbrook for giving us a perfect wedding reception!

The Hilton Chicago/Northbrook hotel did an amazing job on our wedding. They were not only helpful and professional when it came to all the main parts of a wedding, but they assisted us with all the details too. We cannot thank the team at Hilton, especially Ana and Maureen, for all their advice and coordinating when it came to our wedding for about 200 people. We really appreciate how genuine they were when working with us through this whole process from start to finish. We unfortunately hired an additional event planner on our own for executing our extra design pieces and she did not pull through. If it were not for Ana, Maureen and the Hilton team to assist her, it would have been a disaster as we had a backdrop along with a surprise swing dance number for all our guests. We highly recommend having your wedding day or any special event with Hilton Chicago/NB as they are easy to work with and are knowledgeable in their field. Thank you!

We used this hotel for all my guest. At first the hotel was great and easy to work with. The person we were working with changed prior to our wedding. Once this happened, our service became awful. We could not get people to email us or call us back. They did not have a copy of the contract given to us by the original person and questioned us on everything (fortunately, I had a copy). They changed the CONFIRMED shuttle schedule, making all my guest late to cocktail hour. However, my guest all really liked the hotel and pool. The shuttle drivers were very pleasant. We had over 30 rooms booked in our block, so our room was comp'd. Which was a great bonus. Plus I was given a larger suit, which worked out well for all my bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done. Overall, I would use them again...I just would prepare myself for frustration in dealing with communication and fear they would not come through.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Hilton on 9/9 and everything was absolutely amazing! We actually had all of our wedding festivities there - rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and breakfast the day after the wedding. I am 100% happy with our decision on this venue. We originally started out with Katie as our coordinator, who was great and then after she left, we started working with Kesha. She hands down made our wedding day the success it was! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kesha. She is extremely nice and patient and SO detail oriented! The wedding planning process was so easy with the help of Kesha. She helped me keep track of all the little details that I didn't even think of. All of the staff at the Hilton were great and provided wonderful service the day of the wedding. Also, the package with the venue included the catering, bar, cake and the basic decor (mirrors, votive candles and table numbers) which was perfect because we did not do much more than that. The thing that I loved most about the Hilton Northbrook was the gazebo outside. We did our ceremony outside in front of the gazebo, as well as our first look and most of our family/bridal party pictures. Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience, from beginning to end. We are grateful to the Hilton for helping make our wedding day perfect!

The Hilton was the first venue we visited and we chose it right off the bat. We liked the back history (the Rat Pack performed there) as well as the wedding packages they offered since we had both our ceremony and reception there. The event coordinator was extremely accommodating and kind. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there were a few issues during the ceremony that we weren't happy with. I didn't have very many requests, except that it be very cold in the ceremony room (I get SO hot and there were candles, my heavy dress, etc). It was SO HOT. All of the guests were uncomfortable and a few even mentioned it to me. One of the groomsmen had wet hair from sweating. I also could hear the kitchen staff behind the backdrop talking, laughing, and clanging dishes during the ceremony. I was later told that the guests could hear it as well. It is a very nice place and we had a beautiful wedding otherwise.

I had my anniversary party on 6/24/16 at the Hilton/Northbrook and words can't express the great experience I had. Lisa Anderson was my coordinator and she was wonderful very informative, patient and walked with me every step of the way. The serving attendants were very cordial to my guest, they kept their water glasses full and their champagne glass full with the sparkling grape juice, The food was fantastic!!!! and we didn't feel rushed during dinner. I will recommend the Hilton/Northbrook to all my friends. Keep up the good work. Lisa Anderson you are the best and I just want to say thank you.

Many thanks to all involved in our daughter's wedding celebration. I think the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook provided the WOW factor! We were delighted with the room presentation, the tables and chairs were beautiful, the set up just as planned. The food service, and the quality and presentation of the food was spectacular. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from our guest. The types of comments included how good the logistics of the food service was, how good the food tasted and it was served hot. The hotel rooms were nice, and the staff throughout the hotel were kind and helpful. The cocktail room looked lovely & we really appreciated Alex's and John's AV services of keeping the video a surprise.
We (parents of the bride) were so pleased that our guests had such a wonderful time. The grooms family and ours liked the shuttle service which we used to the church and the rehearsal dinner. I truly appreciated the extras -- like letting my sisters & friends use the gathering room on Friday night. It was so nice to have access to additional rooms to get ready in rather than try to use a room that was really occupied by a guest.
We appreciated being able to work with the staff to arrange a send-off breakfast for all our family and friends. The planners were very helpful in explaining what could be done within our budget. Even the breakfast exceeded expectations.
Our entire week end went very smoothly and of course our guests were pleased and impressed! Thanks to everyone involved.

My husband and I got married on April 2, 2016 with our wedding reception held at the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook and it was hands down the most perfect day ever! We still get butterflies when we think back to the time, and still have family and friends ouu-ing and awh-ing about our special day. The first time we visited the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook we met with the catering manager, Lisa Anderson, and immediately felt confident that we'd be in the best hands. We worked with Lisa from start to finish and she was so great to work with. She is very friendly and personable, which made us as the bride and groom feel comfortable, confident, and assured throughout the whole planning process. The communication was easy and effortless, whether via email or phone, she was very helpful and prompt in her responses and guidance. And even when unforeseen things on our end occurred, she was so trusting and accommodating and assured us that she would personally take care of those details, and she did so professionally and perfectly! We are so happy to have chose this venue. Our hor d'oeuvre hour took place in the beautiful skylighted Garden Terrace room, and afterwards our wedding dinner held in two of the gorgeous chandelier ballrooms. Both rooms complimented the elegance that we were looking for. One thing that I will take the time to really cheer and applaud about is the quality of food and service that you will get with the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook. The executive chef and pastry chef are brilliant. We met both chefs during our tasting, where felt like kings and queens enjoying a 5 star full-course meal. All of the servers were outstanding in their service. Salvador was our server during both the tasting and our wedding dinner and he is exceptional, a fine true gentleman. The whole evening and event order went incredibly smooth. And to top our wonderful evening off, we were given a complimentary honeymoon suit, with complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon our arrival. We couldn't have more blessed with how everything turned out for us. We'd like to sincerely thank and give our unending gratitude to our awesome wedding manager Lisa, our fine server Salvador, and all of the Hilton/Chicago Northbrook staff who were a part of making our special day the most perfect day. Thank you all!

I had my ceremony and reception at the Hilton Northbrook last weekend and it was amazing. Lisa took care of everything and made sure I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. All of my guests loved the food and it was very reasonably priced, even the cake was included. They set up the outside gazebo area for my ceremony which was beautiful, and cocktail hour was on their outside patio. When we got inside for the reception everything was ready and set up for me. Lisa always responded to my emails quickly and made sure everything was great!

We just had our wedding at the Hilton Northbrook/Chicago on October 10 and I keep fielding rave reviews from my family and friends! Everything from start-to-finish was on point, making it a perfect day for my husband and myself.
Lisa A. was SUPERB during the planning process, listening to my endless rants and questions, always there to help with decisions or just lending an ear. I felt she truly was there to make our day exactly how we pictured, and her attention to detail impressed me to no end!
THE FOOD. Oh man, it's attached to Allgauer's, so we knew it was going to be good, but seriously, the food was better than the tasting! The portions were beyond generous and the plating was beautiful. (Not kidding, you'd be missing out if you didn't have their cream of broccoli soup with smoked cheddar!)
Benjamin was a great right-hand-man during the reception and was always there to help with anything we needed. The service was great - we felt completely taken care of and our guests had no complaints.
You can't go wrong with the Hilton - the newly-renovated style brings it into the 21st century, and the outdoor cocktail hour space was a favorite of many of our guests. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

I had my wedding here on October 10. During the past couple of years, there has been some turnover of the catering staff, but the transition was flawless. For the final couple of months, I worked with Lisa Anderson. Lisa was just extraordinary. Working with her was more like being with a friend than someone who worked at the hotel. She was very personable and put me at ease. They set up all of our items and coordinated our vendors.
The day was pretty much flawless. Yes, there were a few small things that occurred but nothing I would be worried about. Our banquet captain, Ben, was amazing as well. He made sure my new husband and I were taken care of for the night. The food was hot and fresh. I heard nothing but compliments regarding the food. Also, the wine was free flowing along with the bars.
We were given a suite for the day/night as part of our package. The suite was bigger than some apartments! It also had two bathrooms. It made getting ready a breeze for everyone. People said that wedding planning would be stressful. It is, to a point. I made sure to choose the right team behind me. The Hilton made my day a reality.

I was a bride this weekend with my reception at the Hilton Northbrook. What a terrible reception choice. We have been going to brunch at Allgauer's there for years with nothing but goods things to say. The banquet experience was quite the opposite. More things went wrong than right. I wish you could give 0 stars. A bride shouldn't be crying during her wedding reception because of everything being wrong.
To begin, we went through 4 different wedding coordinators since the time we booked the venue, and each time we were essentially responsible for filling in the new employee of all the details. Lisa was our final event coordinator, and was particularly horrible at attention to details.
Once at the reception, the room for the reception WASN'T READY for us, and our guests were waiting outside the banquet door. I overheard a guest saying they felt like they were in high school waiting outside of an Nsync concert. 45 minutes later we went in and needless to say, the room was not even finished in regards to set up. Main entree was served almost 2 hours after they were supposed to start serving. The band was wanting to do the first dance and we hadn't even gotten our entree. We had to pay the photographer extra to stay beyond the contract just so he could be there to photograph the first dance (after 10 pm- supposed to be 8:30.) When we got the food, the inside of the meat was cold and the potatoes were all dried up, probably from sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. The brother of the bride's fiancee has a soy allergy and was told her salad dressing was soy free, she ate it and her throat and tongue swelled up and a staff member came out later to tell her he found out it was NOT soy free after all. So that was ridiculous.
The dance floor was broken with disconnected pieces. A guest cut their foot on a piece that was falling off. We had 4 beers for our banquet "menu," one of which was "not in stock." At the end of the night, they had run out of all beers except for Amstel light which was not on the menu. Guests were told they RAN OUT of coca cola and tonic water and were given drinks without mixers. The hotel told the band they had to stop 30 minutes before the end time we had agreed upon in the contract with the Hilton. There were many other issues, but I honestly wouldn't have time or space to type them all here. It was honestly a joke as far as how absolutely terrible everything went that the hotel was in charge of. Why spend more than a year planning every last detail if it is all disregarded.
Luckily, all you really need is great family and friends and good music to have a memorable wedding. I'm sure someday I will look back on this and laugh at how horrible the entire experience with the Hilton was. Not today though...

I was the MOH for a wedding at this Hilton location and it was the most disappointing, disrespectful experience for my bride. I am near tears writing this review and hope you seriously reconsider choosing this for your special night. Here are just a few things they completely messed up on...
`1. They were 45 minutes late getting the reception room ready due to a previous event taking place that the mother of the bride had kindly asked not to end so close to the time the reception was to start
2. During this waiting time, they closed the bars serving the guests AND THEN refused to keep the bar open later in the evening to compensate for their mistake
3. The beef tenderloin was dry and potatoes were cold because they were late to seat us
4. The bride had requested a stage for the band, which was never set up
5. Many of the tables did not get water or requested wine refills throughout the night
6. The panels around the dance floor came off midway through the night, causing a fall hazard and one of the bride's aunts cut her foot on the sharp corner
7. The brother of the bride's girlfriend has a food allergy and asked if the salad was the correct one before eating it. They reassured her it was, however, came running back 5 minutes later after she had had a bite and felt her tongue swell, that it was not. She spent the rest of the night in bed with a stomach ache
7. The wedding planner that was suppose to make sure things ran smoothly for the bride and groom was no where to be found the entire night
8. The band had agreed the play a little later than requested due to the late start, however, the hotel refused to let this happen
I wish this all were a joke (it sounds fake) but I'm being 100% honest with what happened. There are more I could share, but these are the highlights of why you should NOT chose this location for your wedding (or any other event for that matter). You deserve better!

We hosted our wedding on October 4th, 2014, at the Northbrook Hilton. Actually, we started talking to Linda in February just to have an idea about the price and menu. When we contacted her back in June she was ready to help us in any way. It was the best choice we made. She was very nice, friendly, and always open to listen us and to advise us to make the great decision. We made lots of changes on our floor plans and she never got tired with our emails. Always saying: “It is your special day, I’m here to help”. We offered our own budget and she worked on the menu with us.Also the cake was included in their package and they designed it the way we wanted. For the sweet table Linda allowed us to bring those from the outside and we could set up the table in our own or even ask the staff to do it without any charge.
The other good thing about the Northbrook Hilton we had the ceremony room and chairs without any charge. Also we got as complimentary free rooms at the hotel for our parents and a nice suite for us in the night after our wedding! As me and my husband don’t drink any alcohol she left a sparkling grape juice in our room with strawberries covered with chocolate and a nice card including a free breakfast and dinner. She really cares about their business and knows how to treat her customers well. One more thing I like to share, in the day of our wedding we were running late and she was there to support us during the morning and was not pressuring us at all. I really recommend this place to host your wedding. It will be one less thing to worry about because they will take care of everything you ask for.
Thanks Linda. You're amazing!

My wife and I held our wedding reception at the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook. We used the Garden Terrace for our cocktail hour, and we were booked in their Willow and Pine ballrooms. We worked with Lindsie Parker, one of their Senior Catering Managers, from beginning to end. She was extremely helpful and responsive throughout.
Everything looked beautiful; all the food tasted wonderful; and the hotel provided a perfect custom cake, matching our specifications.
The only complaint we received is that the hotel bar was not open late enough; our guests wanted to keep the party going!

I couldn't have chosen a better venue for my wedding than the Hilton in Northbrook! The atmosphere was gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the people were so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place to any future brides!

Quality of food and service was excellent. Room was prepared on time and exactly how we requested. Lindsey was very accommodating and easy to work with. Big open space with beautiful chandeliers and we were able to have an extremely large dance floor which was a must for us.

It was quite difficult to work with the Director there. She always starts off with "no" to all the requests and we worked our way through to agree with things. It is hotel, so I know it costs money but I do expect to have an easy experience to work with someone. Anyway, after all, they delivered the quality and service on the wedding day. The cocktail hour by the restaurant and reception turned out really nice. Bartender was great. The food quality is also good as well.

Our guests really liked this hotel. The rooms were very nice and the staff was very helpful. When we were putting aside a block of rooms, the gentleman that assisted us was very accommodating, even when half of our guests waited until the last day to book their rooms. I very much recommend them.

I used Hilton for my block or rooms for my wedding night. They were AWESOME! They were so professional and the rooms were immaculate. My father in law is getting married in September and based on my experience will also be using them! They handed out bags that I had dropped off the day before to all of our guests. The bar was open afterwards for some after wedding cocktails. The shuttle was great and prompt. Our guests had a wonderful time there and I would highly recommend them!

The food was excellent. Everyone still talks about us having the best wedding food ever. The room didn't look so impressive without the decorations but when I first walked into my reception, I was really surprised at how beautiful everything look. The staff is also very nice and helpful to work with. The rooms were recently remodeled so altho the hotel doesn't look impressive from the outside, the rooms are all very clean and nice with new furniture and white linens. Great for guests and for the newly wed--we got a jacuzzi room and it was very romantic. If you can get over the poor exterior, once you walk in, you forget it all.;The landscaping of the hotel is very poor. It's next to a outdated looking hotel and the Hilton itself looks old. They call it riverside hotel, but don't expect a beautiful river view. Also they don't have a good sound system if you want loud music for dancing. You have to get the package that brings in speakers. Otherwise, it's like music you hear in the rest of the hotel.

The wedding coordinator there was very kind, and helpful.;Chocolate martinis were not the martini's that they allowed us to taste in advance.
