Working with this hotel was an absolute nightmare all the way up until the wedding. The only reason we continued to work with them was because there is a $6,000+ "inconvenience fee...
" to back out of the contract, no matter how far out the event is.
Reaching out to customer service is just awful, we called their phone, they told us "that's not our department, call this other number..." we called that number and they gave us a different number. We repeated this process with 5-6 agents.
They didn't tell us this, but all guests need to pay for parking.
The hotel is very expensive; if you want a budget-friendly option, this is definitely not the place for you. I truly felt bad for asking our guests to pay this much for such a small room.
All that being said, the hotel itself is very impressive. I wouldn't ever choose them again, but the stay was pleasant.
The Hilton was a great place to make hotel blocks for the wedding. They were so helpful along the way adding rooms as we needed them and helping me change types of rooms as needed....
I couldn't' recommend them any higher. It is a great hotel and an incredible value especially during the summer in Santa Cruz!
We had our wedding at the Hilton in July of 2015 and we could not have been more happy. The cost of the venue was very reasonable compared to similar venues and there were multiple...
food and drink options that will accommodate budgets both large and small. Our guests had great things to say about the food, especially the appetizers. My husband and I live out of town and the events coordinator Chansina was wonderful to work with and made the whole process much feel easy. She answered all of our questions promptly and was able to accommodate our every-growing guest list in the weeks leading up to our wedding. As for the actual space, the indoor reception room did seem a bit plain during our first walk-through, but the veranda off of the indoor space is beautiful and after some simple uplighting, the inside looked just as good. The service was great and I would absolutely recommend the Hilton to anyone looking for a venue in the Scotts Valley area.
The Hilton was very affordable and offered a private location for our event. We were somewhat dissatisfied with the service however. We had to ask several times to get answers to a...
lot of our questions and the coordinator we had been working with for over a year left about a week before our wedding. Our ceremony was at 4 (which is the Hilton's normal check in time) but the hotel did not make any effort to ready rooms for our guests to allow them to check in prior to the ceremony.
We got married in January so it was off season but the price was awsome and included 2 night stay at the Hotel, every one loved the space. The staff was very friendly and helpful, ...
they were there to make sure everything went perfect. They have an outside spot where you cvan have your ceromony that is just beautiful!
