The most perfect wedding venue in Orlando! Could not have been happier with how the process and the day of our wedding went! Everything was very professional and smooth which made for a calm wedding week and day! David, our coordinator, was AMAZING! From start to finish he was very organized and on top of everything. The event staff was nothing short of spectacular as well. Very attentive to detail and took care of everything. The venue was stunning and the food was amazing! Would recommend Dubsdread to anyone considering them as a venue!
The BEST venue and staff and food and experience for our wedding day!! First and foremost, the setting is gorgeous, and it is located in a quant little corner between Downtown Orlando and Winter Park, so it made traveling and lodging so simple for our guests. Secondly, the staff made our wedding planning and wedding day so seamless. There was literally nothing I had to worry about. They set everything up, cleaned everything up, and even made sure all our belongings were put in our car before we left. David was our wedding coordinator, and he did the perfect job at making sure we were well-informed throughout the day while also giving us enough space to enjoy our day. The price was also so reasonable for everything we got, and did I mention the FOOD! Our guests were raving all about it! If you are looking for an elegant wedding, this is the place.
I highly recommend Dubsdread for your wedding or any event! The Historic Ballroom location in Orlando is not only BEAUTIFUL but it’s a staple spot in our neighborhood (College Park). We’ve been going to the Tap Room for years and we couldn’t think of a more fitting place for our wedding – the Dubsdread team is like family to us. From the first meeting with Shanna to do a tour and look at pricing, we knew were in the best hands.
Once we were assigned our on-site coordinator for the day, Kristen, we knew this was going to be the best experience. She listened to our vision and the end result was even more than I ever could have imagined. The entire process was seamless and stress-free thanks to her expertise.
The food was OUTSTANDING, and we received countless compliments from our guests. Thank you to Kristen and to the entire Dubsdread Catering Team for making our wedding day truly magical.

This is the best wedding venue I’ve seen in the Orlando area. And they made my wedding so special. I had a brunch wedding, and the team made it so smooth. I wasn’t stressed or worried. My wedding day of coordinator Shayna was prompt, caring, and did a wonderful job with my decor. I am easily stressed out and overwhelmed, but I didn’t feel an ounce of that on my day. I also had a wonderful helper in the bridal suite (Yolanda). She made sure my drinks were full and I ate enough food throughout the reception. What a wonderful woman. The bartenders also made sure my mom was supplied with drinks the whole time.
Also I highly recommend the brunch wedding. It’s cheaper, the food is so good (we were able to add our favorites Mac n cheese and brisket to our menu) and everyone LOVED IT!!!! They got to have fun in the morning and go about their day afterward. I’m in love with this place.
Wow! Dubsdread truly outdid themselves! Our wedding was so perfect and went smooth! We could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. David, our coordinator, handle everything with such care and grace. Bob, our butler, was on top of everything and I don’t think I went a single second without a FRESH drink in my hand. Erick, our captain, simply made each of his team members practically unnoticeable, but with everything anyone needed there in instants. Thank you Dubsdread for such a fantastic evening!
This was such a wonderful experience! From the very start, this was stress free. Kristen and her team took care of every single detail and made our wedding unforgettable. The setting, food, service, vendors, and Dubsdread staff are every single thing you could wish for. I am very grateful for all they did for our day.
From beginning to end, dubsdread was NOTHING but accommodating. I'll give my negatives first because everything else was positive. Deposits and such are all non-refundable, I noted on my account to not speak to anyone but me due to security issues and that was not honored, when you visit in person and go through the ballroom side often you'll find yourself waiting for someone to greet you. The "holding area" is small so you need to get ready elsewhere. And the bottom tier of food isn't that great, I found food quality differed everytime I ate it so I paid to upgrade.
Now to ALL of the positive. I had David as my day of coordinator and David as my day of butler. They were AMAZING. I gave David everything needed the day before to setup and it looked EXACTLY like I asked. It was raining on the day of, like, monsoon. David waited until the VERY last minute and I was able to walk down the isle that I wanted, and get married infront of the tree that I wanted, to my now husband. I did a first look with my dad and they block off everything to make sure noone sees me until the ceremony. Can I talk about my butler?! He followed me around with my mojito, and my husband's drink on a tray with apps and LITERALLY put the straw in my mouth for me. Like, he was a dream to have. The food the day of was so good, I HIGHLY recommend the salmon and the borsin stuff chicken with risotto. SO delicious. I'm glad we spent the extra. They fill your plate up huge. Even though it was buffet style it was still so formal. If I went back in time, I'd still pick this venue. The drinks were amazing. The bartender apparently did a amazing job, my family loved it. Thank you dubsdread for making our day special and our dreams come true. Please pick this venue, i don't know how I would have done it without them
Dubsdread Ballroom is such a gorgeous venue with extremely helpful staff and wonderful catering. David was a fantastic coordinator to work with and made sure we had every detail ready. Bob was assigned as our personal butler and was a godsend throughout the night! Our guests had a blast and greatly enjoyed the food.
We loved this place. They were very efficient. David was an excellent coordinator. My daughter and son in law were very happy. All the guests raved how nice it was. I am the mother of the bride and was very happy with how in tune they were with everything. Kevin took care of both the bride and groom and the loved him. Can't say enough about this place.
David was the absolute BEST! He was readily available, flexible for changes we made up until 3 days before the wedding (thanks COVID 😓), and they even worked with us to create a special food dish that represented my husbands Indian culture. Day of, David was on it! He was helpful, kind, and so knowledgeable. This venue far exceeded our expectations!
Beautiful venue, incredible food, and above and beyond service! We are so glad we found Dubsdread. It had everything we were looking for. Most venues you have to bring in everything but there is so much ready and available on location. It really makes for an easy planning experience. The ballroom and outdoor areas are both beautiful and allow for stunning pictures but also allows for minimal decorations because it’s so unique and beautiful on its own. Big shout out to David (our coordinator) and Bob (our designated server) for going above and beyond and saving the day by finding my misplaced family heirloom just before I walked down the aisle! We had such great service throughout the day and everything ran so smoothly. You can’t go wrong with this venue for your special day.
We immediately fell in love with Historic Dubsdread Ballroom after our first tour in October of 2020 and booked it right away. We just got married on 12/11/21 & everything went so incredibly smooth. David was our coordinator that worked with us throughout our wedding planning and was there on the day of. He just made it so easy helping with the flow of our entire wedding day we can't thank him enough, he's the absolute best!!! We got great comments on our food options of the beef tenderloin and the almond chicken, both were our top 2 choices and they were so delicious! We had a beautiful night here for our wedding & appreciate every one at Dubsdread for helping to make our guests happy throughout the night!!! :)
Kirbie A. Dubsdread is a HIT ! The food, service and staff were all professional and great to work with. Special shout out to Emma for the day of coordinating and arranging all the pre-wedding meetings and food tastings. The weather was an amazing 65 degrees and the outside area is a great venue. Both the cocktail and reception rooms are very warm and cozy with a wonderful view of the golf course and outdoor ceremony area. The beverage staff kept the spirts high and the glasses full . Thank you Dubsdread.....
The staff was on point and the food was amazing. They made my wedding the best party I’ve ever gone to! Definitely get the s’mores bar it was the talk of the wedding!
10/10!!! We got married the morning of 4/3/21 and the day was perfection. Bonny was our amazing coordinator and we LOVE her!!! The food was amazing, they gave us the to-go meals and even included to-go meals of the 2 guests who couldn't make it. Our personal waiter kept us fed and hydrated as soon as we walked in and even in between pictures! It was so easy to just shoot an email to update with any guest count changes, until literally right up to the day. We did a open bar until consumption tab and they sent the left over money to us within a few days. Everything about the day was incredible. The day was truly relaxing and handled so professionally. Guests are still talking about the food and how fun the wedding was which solidifies even more-so that Dubsdread was the right choice for us. As someone who didn't want a traditional wedding, I am so so glad we did because we enjoyed every single aspect of it so much!

Couldn’t imagine getting married any where else!
-The venue itself is stunning! We met in Louisiana and loved how the Spanish moss on the trees in the courtyard reminded us of home. The ballroom is dark and romantic but not too dark, with a perfect balance of rustic and elegant vibes.
-The food is MOUTH WATERING! When we hired our other vendors/professionals, they got so excited when they heard we were using Dubsdread because they love the food! They even gave us recommendations on their favorites. Thankfully they also have a restaurant (the Tap Room) so we can continue to eat there!
-David was FANTASTIC! As someone who is constantly worrying about small details and every little thing, I was so relieved that I didn’t have to do any of that because David had everything under control. Our day ran so smoothly and was so fun and it was all thanks to David!
-Pricing was very reasonable. They offer several different ceremony/catering packages to choose from so they can make pretty much any budget work! Shanna was extremely helpful with explaining all of this to us at the very beginning.
For us, the venue was pretty much THE most important thing and we could not have dreamed of a better venue. Dubsdread checked all of our boxes and then went above and beyond our expectations on our actual wedding day. I’d give 10 stars if I could!
The venue itself is beautiful . It definitely can use some upgrades , but it has a charm to it . I fell in love with this venue instantly . The food is fabulous . We had people talking about our delicious our food was the day after .
Cons : you get shorted an hour than most venues . They give you a 30-45 minute cocktail “hour” and only give you about 4 hours to have your wedding . Whereas standard you usually get a full cocktail hour and 5 hours for your wedding . Also if you have a large “ rather loud bridal party” David is not going to be too impressed . He kept mentioning that after the ceremony he got better , but he definitely kept a game face on the entire time . He was wonderful and very helpful with planning and made our day run effortlessly , but definitely let’s you know he means business . Please go with your questions as most options you’ll have to ask for unless you’re okay with them being decided for you . (Example if your interested in an extra hour , moving props , what props to bring etc) We had asked to use wine barrels in our ceremony and was told an outrageous price to move them down two stairs , so we ended up renting from an outside venue . Which was a little upsetting considering the price. We added an hour to our night and it would have been nice to have those options discussed at meetings , but either way the night went on to be magical . The bridal room is teeny tiny , do not plan on getting ready in here . Ask to show up here the latest time possible .
Pros : Our butler we had for the day was absolutely amazing ! He was there every second of photos , getting ready , etc . My wedding was a dream come true . It ran smoothly , it was elegant , and everyone there had the absolute best time . People were waiting on hand and foot. The staff was so prepared and as far as our planning process you don’t need to do much other than some light decor and pick out the food . For this reason I would always give dubsdread a high rating . BUT as a bride if you are worried it will feel too short ... it will . That extra hour makes all the difference . Other than that I would recommend for the ease!
Wonderful classy and beautiful venue. What sold it the most was how well everything is run and thought out. The catering is also part of the venue reservation and the food is exquisite. David was our coordinator and he is clearly an experienced professional. He knows all the ins and outs of a wedding ceremony/reception. The staff are all courteous and professional. They also provide the wedding party with their own butler who tends to your every need. I can not recommend them enough!
I don't even know where to begin! How can I say enough good things about Dubsdread? From beginning to end, the experience we had was incredible. From the very beginning of the planning process, we were met with such a welcoming feel from all the staff. After touring the venue, we immediately knew that this was where we wanted to have our big day. From the gorgeous outdoor ceremony courtyard right off the golf course with big, beautiful trees and cafe lights, to the indoor reception area with the rustic wooden beams and fireplace, the venue itself is breathtaking. We were paired with coordinator David who was wonderful from day one with not only communication but also making my husband and I feel at ease through the entire process. David was prompt with his responses and was always available when I had questions or ideas. Our original wedding date was in April, but due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to postpone. The day we found out we reached out to David and he made the process effortless, even in such uncharted territories. We were able to postpone to a new date within a few hours. On the day of the wedding, David and the staff made us feel like royalty. We had our own personal butler, Juan, who waited on us hand and feet. Every time I turned around he had my drink of choice and food (which was wonderful for a bride who has enough to worry about and needs to eat!). Speaking of food, our friends and family are still raving about dinner! We did buffet style that included parmesan crusted chicken, salmon and a pasta bar. My entire day was stress free because I knew David and his team had it under control at all times. If I could give Dubsdread more stars I would. If you are comparing venues, take this as your sign. Dubsdread gave us the best day of our lives and we will forever cherish how beautiful it was.
My husband and I got married at Dubsdread in July 2020, during the pandemic, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience! The venue is naturally so beautiful and David, or coordinator, was incredible! Our guests were talking about the food and service a full week after the event, and they took so many precautions to keep all of our guests healthy and safe. Jose, the bridal party server was everywhere we turned. All in all, we are SO pleased with our experience and highly recommend the venue/staff for any wedding!
Our wedding was perfection! Our guests could not stop commenting on both the gorgeous venue and the amazing food by Dubsdread Catering. David was our planner and everything was seamless. It was great to enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about any details. And Bob our butler made sure a drink was always in our hands!
It is true they are amazing! We had our wedding ceremony and reception and couldn’t be happier! David was our coordinator and Bob our head server. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to them and their team. They have so much experience, they made everything so easy and enjoyable! They answered any panicked question we had before the wedding, and made the night the best of our lives! It felt like they were family. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. Our guests could not stop talking about the food and how much the enjoyed the night. We knew they were excellent when every vendor we had were happy to hear that was the venue we chose. David and Bob we are forever grateful!
Dubsdread was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the first tour of the venue to our final send-off, we could not have asked for more. We planned our wedding from out of state which should have been more challenging but David was available to answer any question we had, scheduled tastings and meetings when we would be in Orlando, and always willing to talk ideas out on the phone. Our wedding night was spectacular - we did not worry about a thing! Everything unfolded flawlessly and we were able to enjoy our time as newlyweds and celebrate with our families and friends. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for an amazing value and venue in the Orlando area, highly recommend Dubsdread. In fact, one of my friends booked Dubsdread for her reception later this year.
Our wedding at Dubsdread was absolutely perfect!! We did not have to stress one bit the whole wedding weekend. After dropping all of the decorations off at our rehearsal, David and his team took care of absolutely everything! They kept every single part of the night right on schedule. Everyone commented all night how amazing the service was and how amazing the food was. We had filet Mignon and almond chicken and everyone said it was steakhouse quality and that even the vegetarian option was delicious! My groom and I are really were taken such good care of by Bobby who kept our drinks full all night, made sure we got to eat all of the great apps and food, and helped me with my dress, flowers, etc. It truly was the best day ever and the staff at Dubsdread made everything go smoother than I could have hoped for!
Choosing Dubsdread was the best step in our wedding planning. From the very beginning the event staff was so helpful in answering our questions and making sure the venue was right for us. Our coordinator David was amazing. He made sure every detail was right and was so helpful throughout the planning and the day of. Our day of "butler" Bobby was also just amazing. He made sure my husband & I were never without a drink, and made sure we ate! They always say the bride & groom don't get a chance to eat at their own wedding. Bobby made sure that didn't happen! The food was amazing. Every single guest during and after the wedding has told me how much they loved the food. Dubsdread itself is a beautiful venue, and since our wedding was around Christmastime, we got to benefit from their Christmas decor too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you David, Bobby, and all of the Dubsdread staff!!
Everything about this venue is amazing. The staff, the food, the amenities provided, and everything in between. One of my favorite things they provided was a group tasting where you can request food items you would like to try and experience the food like a guest would. AMAZING. DELICIOUS. They also had a long sit down meeting with us two weeks out to go over all of the details - big and small. David was our day of coordinator and you can tell he has been doing this for a long time. He made sure everything went smoothly and if anything went wrong I didn't know about it! David was quick to respond to emails or phone calls when I had questions about absolutely anything. I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding and we were able to bring all of our decorations the day before at the rehearsal. We had Juan as our personal butler and he was SO prepared. Started to rain and he appeared with an umbrella. Saw me without a drink and he appeared with a glass of prosecco. He brought us the appetizers after our ceremony, made us plates of food during our reception, and made sure we got dessert and the late night snack. Customer service was outstanding. They think of everything! Not to mention the venue is GORGEOUS! Beautiful oak trees with string lights for the ceremony and the interior was equally as beautiful. The woodwork, stone fireplace, a gorgeous chandelier. Seriously. Everything was amazing. I don't have a single bad thing to say about Dubsdread.
Having our wedding at Dubsdread completely took the stress out of planning. David is absolutely amazing, and having a butler feeding us the whole day was a godsend. It was such a fun night, I’m so glad we held our wedding here. Our guests enjoyed it too!
Our wedding was Nov 17, 2019. The venue was amazing and our day of coordinator, David was amazing too! We had our ceremony outside and we were blown away by how beautiful everything looked! The food was soooo good! All the guest kept commenting on how delicious everything was! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or day of coordinator! We’re forever grateful for all the hard work that was put into making our day so special!
We cannot say enough about the amazing staff and venue at Dubsdread! We absolutely loved having our wedding here! Our coordinator David was incredibly professional, accommodating, and easy to work with. He made sure we had anything and everything we needed and wanted for our big day! He is truly a magician behind the scenes! Thank you David!! The venue is stunning! Living in Florida it is always a chance that you may see rain on your wedding day but with their indoor reception hall and cocktail room that isn’t a worry! We received so many compliments on the space as well as the amazing food!! With in-house catering it made the entire planning process so easy. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more! If I could do it all over again, I would still choose Dubsdread in a heartbeat.
Where to even begin with this place? David and the team truly made sure my wedding was amazing. From the beginning of the planning process everything was made so simple, it almost felt too easy and was worrying me for a little bit. The day of was flawless and went off with no issues (and if there were I had no idea), no stress other than nerves and being antsy to get things going! Juan (pretty sure that was our attendant) was more than we could of asked for as well! This guy was a trooper and hung around during all of our photos with food and drinks ready for us when we got small breaks! He also deserves a medal for dealing with my hot mess bridal party and their shenanigans. My now husband ended up having an allergic reaction during the reception and the staff was so great in helping make sure that he got everything that he needed. Thank you all again for making our day so special and seem so easy!
I don’t think I can say enough on how happy my husband and are that we had our wedding here. The entire experience with Dubsdread has been great. They were accommodating in using a family recipe for one of our entrees and the food on their menu is amazing too. The butler touch is BAR NONE!! Juan was WONDERFUL, we can not say that enough. You need a Juan in your life we are endlessly appreciative of him. David was also quick to answer our question throughout the planning process and worked really well with our planner. Even with the rain which did create a bit of a hiccup they made sure that our day went off without a hitch. It was such an amazing experience and we are grateful for to the entire team. If you are looking for a venue and weighing your options Dubsdread is the way to go!!
What an amazing place to have your ceremony and reception. I give this 10 stars! The staff was amazing and David our wedding coordinator was by far the best. He always paid attention to detail allowed us to ask any questions that we had and made our day absolutely enjoyable. I can truly say that nothing went wrong! Our personal butler Juan was by far amazing! His attention to detail and hospitality was stellar. thank you so much for making our day as special as it was. we could not have asked for anything better. Definitely recommend this location for any wedding or even anniversary event. We will be booking in the future! Absolutely loved it!

Like many couples, this was our first time planning a wedding and, to be frank, we had no idea how intricate the details can become. David walked us through all of the options, explaining each of them and helping us every step of the way. The food here is delicious (we nearly had to be rolled out of the tasting session) and the attention to detail immaculate. Dubsdread's team put together our tables exactly as we asked, coached us through the ceremony and reception, and made sure we didn't have to sweat the small stuff. Thanks to David and team, there was zero stress on our big day, and our "personal butler" Bob (he's the real MVP) made sure we had food and drinks the entire time. The value for this venue cannot be overstated. We looked at several venues and none offered this level of expertise and service for the price. Best of all, the beautiful backdrop of that big oak tree out in the courtyard and the rustic feeling inside the dining room made for a picture perfect wedding. If you're looking for somewhere to get married in Central Florida, look no further!
The staff at Highland Manor were amazingly easy to work with!! Anytime I had a question they would respond right away. They made the planning process very smooth and my wedding was absolutely PERFECT! Bonny kept my large bridal party in line and helped keep the ceremony and reception flowing smoothly!!! Very pleasant experience overall :)

He was clear and precise as to where our budget was going, everything was laid out on paper for our reference. As a bride, the most frustrating thing to me from vendors was lack of communication! Not David, he was AMAZING.
Fast forward to our wedding day, I was speechless when I saw how beautiful the ballroom was. Literally transformed into everything I had dreamed of. Service by the staff was A++. We had our own butler, Bob, who made sure the Bride and Groom got fed and never had an empty glass. Bob was our best friend, what a great amenity Dubsdread offers!
The food was to die for, I still have guests talking about it. Even our guests that had food allergies enjoyed their meals! We went with the Gold Premium food package, a last minute upgrade that did not disappoint!
Overall, we have ZERO NEGATIVE things to say about Dubsdread. They checked all the boxes for us and the venue itself is just gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and take the stress out of Venue searching, Dubsdread for the WIN!
Highland Manor was the first and only venue we looked at. The second we saw the gorgeous property, we knew this is where we wanted our wedding. Throughout our complicated international planning process, the staff was always amazing at responding to emails. And then we met Bonny, our assigned wedding coordinator (big bonus that someone like her comes with the venue). BONNY IS THE BEST. She worked with us to make our dreams come true and worked around tight schedules of time when we would be in Orlando. During the entire process, I never once felt overly stressed because as soon as something would cross my mind, I’d email Bonny and she would get back to me within a couple hours. We handed over all our decorations the day before the wedding and Bonny and HM staff brought our vision to life in a more magical way than we could ever have imagined. Our wedding day was perfect! If something went wrong, we never heard about it! Bob, our butler during the wedding, constantly made sure we had drinks and made sure we ate as well. I hear nightmares about the bride and groom starving but we never had that problem. All our guests raved about the food. The potato bar was AMAZING! It’s a must do. One thing worth mentioning is I definitely didn’t feel like an hour and a half to 2 hours before the ceremony was enough time at the venue so we paid a little extra to get into the bridal suite and grooms room an hour earlier. It was definitely worth it. Get married here. You won’t be sorry! Thank you Highland Manor and Bonny!
The staff at Dubsdread is incredible, it was so helpful to have such an experienced team supporting our wedding. They serious think of everything. They were very responsive and no item was too much to accomodate
My husband and I chose Dubsdread for our ceremony and reception. From the booking process, to the day of our wedding everything was amazing. David, our wedding coordinator was so fantastic. He made sure everything ran smoothly from the moment we stepped foot on property until the moment we left for the night. He even helped with my bustle before the reception started! Our head server Bob was truly wonderful. We never went without drinks. He checked in constantly to make sure the food was okay and to see if we needed anything. He even brought us appetizers while we were taking photos. Our families could not stop raving about the service provided by Dubsdread. We had guests coming up to us all night and continuously telling us this was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We got married at Dubsdread in September and it was the perfect venue! David was our coordinator and he was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding and was great the day of. Our head server, Bob was also fantastic. Dubsdread was very organized and responsive. They set everything up just the way we wanted it and cleaned everything up. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. We would definitely recommend Dubsdread for all weddings!
I got married here on March 31 this year. Venue is beautiful but the staff is difficult to work with ( you need them, they don't need you). Wedding was great until we were taking our pictures by the course, by the course not on it, when a drunk of duty employee decided to start complaining that we are taking too many pictures and holding up everyone's game! 2k an hour is what this is going to run you, you' ve been warned. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, ours was ruined by old, nasty., bitter golfers who are bent at the world!
When touring venues I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and organization of Dubsdread. I viewed several of the sites their catering department works with and ultimately decided on Dubsdread Ballroom for our ceremony and reception - I fell in love with the beautiful rustic decor in the ballroom. Working with them was so easy - they were responsive, informative, and the tasting they hosted for their couples was so much fun. David was our coordinator and our meetings with him were efficient and incredibly thorough - and usually fun. They left absolutely no detail unplanned and we were confident our wedding day would go smoothly - which it did.
Right before our ceremony, the Florida rain was threatening to move us inside, but Dubsdread handled it so efficiently and waited until the last minute to call it so that we got to get married outside. For the reception, David had told us we’d have a personal butler for the event but we weren’t prepared for the VIP treatment - we had drinks and food handed to us all night and Jim took care of our every need so that we could just relax and have fun. The service was so incredible, the food was amazing, and the space was perfect for our wedding of about 88 people. There were probably snafus I don’t even know about that the staff just handled. We could not be happier and our guests absolutely loved every minute - cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Orlando!
Other notes:
-Parking is plentiful and free
-They handled allergies/special dietary needs like pros
-The outdoor and indoor spaces are both beautiful - it was difficult to find an indoor ceremony option in Florida that didn’t feel like a second rate plan B, but I’d have been happy to get married either inside or out at Dubsdread
The only tiny downsides to Dubsdread:
-The area for getting ready for the women is just a small room off the bathroom. We did a first look so didn’t even need it, but it definitely lacks the facilities of some other venues
-if it rains, photo opps are a bit more limited since you only really have the ballroom, but we did ours in there and they turned out well

Where can I even begin? Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and the Dubsdread team was a huge reason why!!
From the beginning, the Dubsdread team was so helpful - they answered my (multiple) questions immediately and were incredibly flexible with any changes. We had Bonny as our coordinator and she was perfect. I had DIY centerpieces, since we had a small wedding and I wanted to keep everything as low cost as possible, and she took all of the decor I brought with me and made everything look even more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined! I was seriously amazed by how she arranged everything! She is magic! She even tried to bustle my dress by herself (my dress turned out to be incredibly complicated, but she tried!). I was also so impressed with our butler, Richard. He went above and beyond for the entire day, helping not just me and my husband, but our parents and the entire bridal party as well. As we were taking our bride and groom portraits after the ceremony, Richard was there with a tray of drinks in one hand and carrying my train with the other!! He was always quick to refill our drinks and make sure we had everything we needed, and he even joined us on the dance floor for a few minutes at the end of the night! He was truly amazing and we were so thankful to both him and Bonny!
I truly had a perfect wedding day. Everything went so smoothly, the food was absolutely delicious, and above all, I felt truly cared for. The Dubsdread team does a wonderful job of making sure every one of your needs is taken care of. They even sent us off with two huge takeout boxes of food (and cake!) and had all of our things packed up and loaded into the car within 15 minutes after the reception was over. I am so incredibly happy we chose to get married at Highland Manor!
Highland Manor was the prefect place to have our wedding, the entire process was easy and relaxing. The staff are AMAZING, they are timely answering emails or phone calls. Bonnie our day of coordinatior was great! The Venue is beautiful and the bridal suite is very spacious. All of our guest couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was and how good the food was. Don't hesitate to book this place! It's a great value for everything you receive.
Dubsdread made sure our day went even more perfect that we could have imagined! Our coordinator, David, really went above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue to say “I do.” The entire evening my husband and I were accommodated in any way we could have thought of. The food was incredible, the drinks stayed full and everyone had a smile on their face! From start to finish, the planning process, the rehearsal and the big day all I can say is —PERFECT!

I can't even begin to explain how amazing our wedding was at Highland Manor. From the day we happened to stop in when they happened to be giving tours, to the day of, Bonny and her team were AMAZING. They treated us like VIP's and made the planning process so much easier. Gion (sp?), was our "butler" for the day of the wedding and he was OUTSTANDING! He was genuinely friendly, personable, and willing to do whatever we needed to make our day easy and special. The food was top notch (especially the mini-chicken cordon bleu appetizers!), and our buffet was a hit.
I didn't hire a wedding planner and certainly didn't need one--Bonny was creative and did an AMAZING job with our decorations. All I had to do was drop them off the day of the rehearsal, and she created magic. They even treated our pooch like a gentleman!
Highland Manor is clean, regal, and the perfect venue if you want old charm and beauty. There is magic at that place--it even held off the 60% chance of rain and potential heat and humidity during the ceremony under the live oak tree.

We had our wedding at Dubsdread and it could not have gone more perfect! It was the best night of our lives. The food is TO DIE FOR, all of our guests are still raving about it. Our coordinator David was unbeatable. He was extremely prompt and even on his days off another coordinator would get back to you immediately. He was so organized and had a solution to any problem. If we were unsure of something during the process he would give automatically give us different options. I loved working with him and he made the experience wonderful. The venue was absolutely beautiful as well and the staff was great. Our wedding party was completely taken care of during photos and during cocktail hour etc. Our guests were never waiting at the bar, they had staffed properly for the mass amounts drinking :) David was flexible also when we wanted to extend the time (too much fun!). I would recommend this venue to anyone. There is a lot of flexibility with pricing options as well (plus we all loved the complimentary food tasting!) Thank you Dubsdread team!!
When we first saw the Dubsdread Ballroom, we fell in love with the beautiful wooden beams across the ceiling and romantic, rustic feel. We loved the different rooms available on site and utilized all three for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The entire evening was seamless, and that's largely due to our coordinator Bonny. We met multiple times throughout the planning process, and she truly made our vision come to life! The entire Dubsdread team was very responsive. The food was fabulous, ⎌and it was so convenient that the venue was also our caterer. I highly recommend Dubsdread, and we plan on visiting the Tap Room frequently to remember the beautiful memories made and to enjoy their delicious food!
Yes, yes, yes, yes YES! We had our cocktail hour and reception at Dubsdread on April 22 - we could not have been happier. First, the service they provide while planning the event is top notch. We wanted to add our own "flavor" to our reception, and David and the team worked with us to create a custom menu - we were so thankful. They worked with us to get the menu perfect, and it was! The food was delicious and they were so open to all of our ideas. David and team made planning SO EASY. We used all three areas, Florida room and outside were perfect for the cocktail hour. We set up cornhole on the patio and guests loved it. David made the wedding so stress free for me! From the pre-wedding planning, the drop of right before, and the night of the event. They were overly accommodating and worked within our budget to help us create the perfect event. You cannot go wrong working with the people - they do not nickle and dime you, and they make the experience SO FUN! The night of the event was flawless. They were so attentive to us as the bride and groom, and the guests raved about the service. And of course... the venue itself is so beautiful! I liked to call it Rustic Chic and also casually elegant. It was outstanding. I can't recommend this venue enough. We even opted out of a cake, and Dubsdread was ok with us bringing the Jeremiah's Ice Cream truck on premise - it was a hit! The day of coordination is incredible, and they took care of all of the clean up. The food is outstanding. The venue is gorgeous. But use Dubsdread because of their service!! Take it from a type-A, high strung bride.... this is the place for you!
David and CJ were amazing. My wife and I had our wedding here and things couldn't have gone better. A lot of people have horror stories or talk about things that went wrong on their wedding day, but we have none of those and that's thanks in large part to our two wedding coordinators and this great venue they work for.
We had a bit of a destination wedding having lived in Orlando before, but now living in New York, but David went above and beyond in helping make things easy for us. He took care of everything we needed in one face-to-face meeting and one final phone call. That's it. In that short amount of time he managed to get everything he needed to make our wedding flawless.
CJ deserves a special shout out for being the "day of" MVP. Whether it was finding one of our readers she had never met, or holding a fan under my wife's dress to give her a bit of relief from the Florida heat, CJ came through every time we put another difficult or...interesting task on her plate.
I think the best part about working with Dubsdread is their relationship with vendors. Anyone we booked, they had worked with before and knew exactly what information we needed to get to them to make things go well. We followed David's instructions and put our trust in the same vendors they trusted, and had nothing to worry about all day long.
If there is one critique I have of the whole experience it would be the lighting. While the strands of lights they have in the rafters of the main reception room are beautiful - and come free with booking the venue! - they were not enough to thoroughly light the reception. We had a little uplighting around the room, but the reception overall was a little dark because of this. It didn't matter much since most of the evening was dancing and no one needs light for that, but dinner was done in fairly dark circumstances.
But that's it! One very minor critique that I had to really think about in order to give a little balance to the glowing praise I have for Dubsdread, David, and CJ.
If you're considering Dubsdread, definitely give it a visit. If you visit and you like it, book it. You will not regret it. My wife and I got the wedding of our dreams with zero stress because of this place and these people. I can not possibly thank them enough.
We just had my daughter's bridal shower in the Florida room. Carissa and her staff were amazing! From our first meeting to the end of the event, Carissa made sure every detail of our event was exactly what we wanted. The charm of the venue, the attention to detail from the staff and the delicious food is why I highly recommend Dubsdread.
If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. The entire experience from touring the venue at an open house, through the break down of the day of the wedding went so smooth. The entire team was so helpful through the year of planning. David was our day of coordinator. Absolutely perfect. He made sure everything ran smoothly without a hitch. I really liked that they coordinate with all of the other vendors as well so you don't have the stress of verifying the drop off times, etc. I truly appreciate his attention to detail. Bob was our Day of Butler and he was AMAZING! The food was great. We had guests wanting the recipes of their meals, the almond crusted chicken and London broil duel entrée. The flow of the evening from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went well and I can honestly say I had no complaints. Myself, husband, our families and guests enjoyed the entire night. Thank you for everything! We highly recommend this venue for any event, but they are definitely top of the line for weddings.
Dubsdread is beautiful and our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT. Unfortunately we did not have the greatest experience with the team at Dubsdread leading up to our special day. During the first few months of our planning we were shuffled around to a different coordinator 3 times. Group tastings are held throughout the year and we were told that we would be contacted about the date, in which they forgot to include us. The coordinator gave us the option of a private tasting where we could choose to sample 10 items from the menu, which was very disappointing, since we had an h'ordeurves wedding package with 7 items for our wedding. They corrected the error by putting together a group tasting and giving us a private tasting as well. Everything wasgoing much better at the time. I was pretty much fed up when a week before my wedding, my wedding planner informed me that the Dubsdread team contacted her and told her the vendors, who were scheduled to arrive at 12pm to set up, could not come until 1pm because they accidentally double booked our wedding day with an earlier event. Our contract stated that we had a guaranteed 2 hours before the wedding to set up. I was floored. Not only was it a week until our wedding, but they never bothered to contact my mother or I personally! It was a breech of contract and was handled very poorly by the Dubsdread team. So bad, that my then fiance sent an email to Dubsdread, which then prompted the owner of Dubsdread to contact me personally. He assured me that the wedding would be perfect. At the time I was so upset that I did not even want to get married there. But, 1 week out, how was I to change my wedding location after the invitations went out? We had to just let it go and leave it all on Dubsdread to come through with their promise. They did! Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and perfect! I do still feel that if I could go back to the day we signed the contract, I would not have gone with Dubsdread. Even though the day was perfect, I would have chosen a different location because of the all the stress that it caused in the months leading up to the big day.
This was the absolute perfect venue to host our wedding reception. From the ambiance to the service, this place is top notch! We loved the food, and the atmosphere was exactly the experience we were hoping for. They executed our vision flawlessly without missing a beat. Everything ran smoothly on the day of. David and his team are true professionals. We knew were were in good hands that day, and we had so much fun knowing everything was taken care of. Thank you for making our day so special!

How can I possibly convey how incredible, beautiful, romantic, and just PERFECT my wedding was at The Highland Manor? Not only are the house and the grounds a complete dream come true, but the staff there is unreal. Bonnie is the best coordinator you will ever meet-- she knows her stuff, is always cool and confident, and is basically a fairy godmother. Our "butler" for the day was "G," who I pretty much want to be my best friend. He knew how to do anything I needed, from bustling my dress to magically producing eyelash glue from his pocket.
I really am at a loss for words as I try to write a review that does the staff and venue justice. And the FOOD! We had breakfast for dinner, and every single person at my wedding stopped to tell us that it was THE BEST breakfast they had ever had in their lives.
The Highland Manor made all of my wedding dreams come true, and then some. I was never stressed, never worried that something wouldn't go just right, and I was never disappointed. The staff was courteous, flexible, creative, friendly, and gracious. I am so thankful for everything they did at/for our wedding. I'm almost sad it's over, because now I don't really have a reason to continue interacting with them and the gorgeous Highland Manor! I will recommend this venue to anyone and everyone who is getting married within Central Florida.

On October 16, 2016, my daughter Emily De Guc got married to Tucker Sutton at the BEAUTIFUL HIGHLAND MANOR! Upon our arrival, we were met by Bonny Bailey and her AMAZING staff!!! She introduced us to Gian, who was to be our private butler from preparing for the wedding and until Emily & Tucker were whisked away in the limousine at the end of the evening :) Bonny was on top of her game and any questions or concerns I had as the MOB, she answered or took care of without any further complications. Her attention to detail and working with our vendors - Tabitha of Our DJ Rocks, Kaleb & Elaine of KEJ Productions (Videographers), Cameo & Joey of Magnolia & Magpie (photographers), Party Flavors (cake bakery), Debra from Atmospheres Florals (all of the bouquets, arrangements, etc. florist) W Drapings, and Apollos Chariots (limousine service), made it so easy to just enjoy the wedding and reception!!
I was asked throughout the evening by guests, how I would describe my experience. My answers were MAGICAL, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, and beyond my expectations! I am so happy that Emily & Tucker picked Dubsdread Catering as their event vendor and Highland Manor as the location for the wedding and reception. I can't thank Bonny enough for all she did during the planning process before the big day as well as the wonderful job she did on Emily & Tucker's special day!!

This review is way overdue! I had my wedding reception at Dubsdread on January 30, 2016 and it was absolutely perfect! My coordinator was David and he was amazing. He was so attentive and he coordinated every detail so perfectly. We did not have to worry about anything. David is absolutely the best – I could not have asked for a better coordinator! Our head butler Bob was also great! He was always there whenever my husband and I needed anything throughout the night. The food was AMAZING! Our guests loved the food and said it was the best wedding food that they have ever had. Our guests still talk about how fantastic everything was – from the food to the staff! I cannot recommend Dubsdread highly enough. A big part of the reason we chose this venue (other than the fact that it’s GORGEOUS) was the endless reviews of their amazing customer service, so we came in with super high expectations. The Dubsdread staff still managed to BLOW US AWAY. I could write an entire separate review on just how amazing our coordinator Christine was to work with—she was friendly and helpful all throughout our planning process, our meetings often ran over just because we were having so much fun chatting with her, and she did a perfect job on our day of making sure everything ran perfectly. Even when we had to defect to a rain plan she handled it wonderfully—working as hard as she could to keep the outside option open and keep me involved in the decision, and then once the decision was made taking everything else out of my hands and taking the initiative to get creative with our reception decorations to make the indoor ceremony so beautiful that most people assumed we planned it that way. Every other member of Dubsdread’s staff was just as incredible—attentive to our needs, helpful to our guests, and just so flipping friendly. The food was fantastic (we know, because our amazing head waiter packed to go boxes for us so we could actually eat it later) and all of our guests had an incredible time.
Bonnie was fantastic! She made my wedding stress free! The ballroom is a fantastic place for a wedding- all my guests commented on how beautiful it was. The staff is so helpful and great! I'm so happy I choose to do my wedding here.
One year ago today my husband and I got married at Dubsdread. (This review is a year late due to my pregnancy brain and being a new mom.) From viewing the venue to getting married Bonny and staff were amazing! Bonny made sure our day was exactly as we imagined but better! She graciously accepted my OCD planning and took my detailed list of decor notes and many storage bins with a smile on her face. Mark worked with the chef, my husband and myself to customize a brunch menu that fit our likes. The chef even made scrapple especially for my husband. Bonny and her team were patient and kindly/quickly responded to my many emails and questions along the way. They were personable, friendly and made sure everyone had a great time. Bob, our attendant, was so sweet and attentive all day long. He grabbed me a fresh drink every time I misplaced it and made sure we had everything we needed. This team went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. Everyone at our wedding had so much fun. I can't wait to host another event at this gorgeous venue. Bonny is a truly a superhero!!!!
We live in Texas and decided to have our wedding in Orlando. Not being in Orlando to plan every wedding detail, we thought at first would be a challenge. However, the staff and our coordinator, David, made planning our wedding easy and the day of was everything we wanted and more. The staff worked with us to accommodate our schedules, responded to emails and phone calls promptly, and made every request happen. We chose Dubsdread based on the historic building and the overall beauty/character of the venue. The food was wonderful and we received so many compliments from our guests on how friendly the staff was. We did a buffet, but it felt like every table had a personal waiter to refill drinks and assist with requests. I can't express how happy we were when we stepped into the room to see all our planning dreams come true! When we look back, there is nothing we would have changed. Well done Dubsdread team and special thank you to David our coordinator.
They are worth every penny! A personal butler followed us around the entire time, the food was amazing, and they know exactly what they're doing! Could not have asked for anything better!
This venue/catering combo was the absolute best. The food they serve is the same as the restaurant next door, The Tap Room, and it is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly, returns emails promptly, very knowledgeable, and very efficient. My day of coordinator, David, was on top of everything, and on the big day kept the whole thing running smoothly. We had a head table butler, and he kept our glasses full of whatever we wanted, and had appetizers waiting for us before and right after the ceremony so the wedding party could eat while we were getting ready or taking pictures. The rest of the staff was so well trained, you didn't even notice them, but they got everything served, and cleaned up perfectly. If I were doing it all over again, I would definitely have it at Dubsdread again!
Dubsdread was an absolutely fantastic venue. David and his team were phenomenal to work with. We planned our wedding on a short timeline (about four months), and David and company exceeded our expectations in every way. They honestly care about every client who comes in and do whatever they can to make your day great. Specifically:
1. They respond to emails fast, most of the time within 1-2 hours.
2. They are always kind, courteous, and friendly.
3. They've thought of it all and have every kind of checklist and chart ready for you to use--and work through everything with you. This makes the day of incredibly easy for the bride! I glanced over everything before the ceremony to give my okay, but that was it. No decorating, no telling anyone where things should go... No stress!
4. They worked well with our officiant and combined their knowledge with his to make a great ceremony.
5. They made last-minute changes on the fly and solved minor hiccups with ease.
6. Along the same vein as #5, they anticipated issues and were ready with remedies when those issues arrived.
7. They were considerate of all ideas for our wedding day and gave their own as well, speaking from years and years of experience.
8. Every employee there made us feel special. While I know they've seen hundreds of people get married there, we (bride and groom) both felt like we got the VIP treatment.
9. They take care of you. They'll have snacks and drinks ready for you while you're getting ready and taking photos, they'll straighten your train before you walk down the aisle, and help you with your veil and anything else you may need.
10. Our guests raved about the food, and we were happy to have it again. The mashed potatoes and salmon were especially delicious!
All in all, you can't go wrong with Dubsdread. The venue is beautiful and food is great, but the staff is what really sets it apart. They genuinely care about each and every couple who comes through there. Thank you, Dubsdread, for making our wedding wonderful.

Dubsdread is an ideal venue for a wedding! The ballroom is gorgeous, the adjacent Florida Room is charming, and the courtyard is perfect for the ceremony. What's more, the food is terrific. Dubsdread offers a range of value too. You can have a lavish evening reception or a casual morning brunch. I opted for the second and saved money big time! Having a morning wedding reduced the venue rental cost by $1,000, saved us hundreds on liquor, and allowed for a brunch buffet, which was a big hit and affordable.
Every wedding gets a Coordinator who manages the staff and handles so many of the details the day of. Andrew did a great job taking care of us. He knows weddings back-and-front, and he knew OUR wedding. He kept everything on schedule, made sure important details weren't overlooked, had back-up plans for the back-up plans, and helped us through every emergency (ex: I dropped a strawberry leaving red stains on my and my mother's dresses, and Andrew had instant stain removal wipes at the ready). We had unexpected stormy weather, and the Dubsdread expertly moved our ceremony from the Courtyard to the Florida Room as if the ceremony were always planned to be in there. They managed a flawless transition to the reception in the Ballroom. Andrew and the staff worked hard to create an impeccable experience for guests.
I do want to mention a problem we had. We selected the Pork Loin with Cinnamon Apple Raisin Reduction to be the main course after loving it at a tasting event. Somehow, there was miscommunication, and a completely different pork loin was served. Our guests didn't notice, but we were still disappointed. When it came to Andrew's notice, he had the kitchen prepare the cinnamon reduction for guests and offered us $100 back.

we are so happy we chose Dubsdread for our wedding venue, not only is it a beautiful location and looks awesome inside the ballroom but the service was outstanding. we met with our coordinator at Dubsdread, David several times before the big day to ask questions and go over details. by the way, we loved having him as a coordinator. we had no need to even hire a day of planner which can get pricey. we brought all of our decorations there the day before at our rehearsal and voila everything was set up just perfectly even though we didn't tell him where everything was supposed to go. it was my one day to be a princess and I felt like one! we had our own personal head waiter who was amazing he made sure we were good on our drinks of choice (we told them what they were at one of our meetings) and even made sure we got some appetizers during the photo shoot! when I was dancing at the reception doing the twist, one of my cap sleeves came unstitched and one of the employees saw it happen and motioned me over to her and she saved me by grabbing a safety pin to pin it back to the dress so I could keep on going. I have nothing but good things to say about Dubsdread and both my husband and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a venue and we were both completely if not overly satisfied. we also liked the fact that the food was made right on site and it was flawless. the first dance finished, our officiant said a prayer and bam the salads were there, they had enough staff so that all the tables received their food at the same time (we did a plated dinner) I was so impressed. at the end of the night they were super quick to pack everything up and get the stuff into my moms car. no one attending our wedding as a guest had to clean anything up which was super worth it too. our event was a Sunday night and we extended it an extra hour (I would recommend not doing that on a Sunday night because most people leave early for work the next day) and so we ended up ending the event early and our coordinator David contacted our getaway vehicle company and got them to come early so it was totally stress free. thank you so much Dubsdread for making the wedding of our dreams!
