When they opened up the ballroom doors, my jaw dropped and I was in tears!! Thank you for the best wedding ever, I want to go back!

tress free! Overall, our event was great! We were happy that we chose the Holiday Inn Downtown for our venue. The service staff at the reception was great, the food was good, the rooms were offered at a reasonable rate, etc. Our disappointments were: 1) The banquet room and the cocktail room were not set up exactly as instructed. It was close/ok, but not exactly what we hoped for. Details are important when it comes to wedding! 2) When our centerpieces were taken down at the end of the night they were poorly placed in provided containers, resulting in damaged centerpieces. 3) The food was good, except for the appetizer salad. 4) The evening banquet manager tried to close the bar before the scheduled time, but they did end up resolving it. We would still recommend this venue to others, but would recommend that all instructions are written out, explained, and doubled checked.

He was on the ball and made me feel very calm and confident that my reception was going to be perfect. Our reception was beautiful. It was everything that I dreamed it would be. The decor was perfect and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The food was great! The cost was very reasonable, and the service was over the top. My husband and I could not have wished for a better experience. The plaza made our wedding day a very memorable one. I would recommend them anytime! Thank you!!

best wedding planner I could have asked for. She always responded to my questions within hours and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because there was one serious mix up at the reception - one of the staff members accidentally switched the table numbers which put my parents in a back corner. Bunny was very upset about it but unfortunately the young lady that made the mistake thought it was kind of funny.

a photobooth, abbotts icecream and shew worked with each of those vendors on arrangements which made my life a lot easier. The day of our drop off Melanie and Russell were waiting outside with carts to meet us and they took the time to let me explain everything I was nervous about. Melanie and Russell did an amazing job the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect as well. The hotel rooms were reasonable and clean and the bridal suite was very nice. The food was very good and they served very quickly so we could get to the party!
