budget. Eric and his staff exceeded any expectations that we could have had, they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly and eager to help. We had never hired a catering company before, so we really weren't sure what to expect or how much help they actually would be during the set up and tear down of everything, but they were INCREDIBLE!!! They run like a well oiled machine, and had everything cleaned up and taken care of before we could blink an eye! We also really appreciated that they took care of the linens and packed up all the leftover food for us to take home afterward, it was a nice treat not having to worry about dinner the following day! I can't say thank you enough and would 100% recommend Holiday Market to anyone in need of a catering company!!

We got exactly what we wanted, from the color to the design, and we couldn't be happier. (Plus, you get a free cake on your one-year anniversary, so there's no need to save a layer in the freezer!)

ble (1400). I ended up with a brush gold layer and a layer of one single piping design. I also ordered 4 dozen roses and 7 stalks of hydrangeas to go in between the pillars. I originally decided to order the flowers elsewhere (because again their price was too high) and drop them off to HM but somehow they were ordered for the wrong date. So my husband called HM the day before our wedding and they said they would be able to work it out and provide the flowers. I thought they were life savers although the price was $50 more than the original quote. I just figured it was more expensive because it was last minute. Long story short, the piping design was not well executed and the lace they overtopped my top layer with was hideous and sloppy. HUGE disappointment. It obviously didn’t work out as planned and I feel that I should’ve been consulted about how it turned out and maybe asked if I’d like to go without the lace, leave it smooth or try something else. Also there may have been 1 dozen roses on the cake but definitely NOT 4 dozen . Lastly they lost my cake topper! They claimed I never left it with them although it was dropped off at the same time as my cake stand which did make an appearance. Smh. & IM NOT DONE! I had sheet cakes as well and my sheet cakes were left in the kitchen in like grocery store stock boxes UNCOVERED. Can you believe that? They didn’t even come in cake boxes. My caterer had to cover them with Saran Wrap. It’s not about money but about quality and service. & if everything had worked out as planned, I would’ve given 4 starts and said it was worth every penny but it absolutely was not. The 2 stars are granted because the flavors were tasty.

Holiday had a deal called “show stopper” where you get a 3 tiered cake with basic flavors and fillings (we chose yellow cake with lemon mousse, chocolate cake and almond mousse) for a set price. We did this deal and got a sheet cake on the side with a speciality flavor : pumpkin cake with hazelnut mousse. Our cake was perfect the day of the weddings and we got several compliments on the excellent flavor and frosting! Bonus: we did not need to save our top tier because they will recreate a mini cake for us at our one year anniversary.

g, and they accommodated not only my husband and I but also my parents and brother who wanted to come along and try the food. The salads were crisp and fresh, the pretzel rolls & challah rolls were delicious, and the garlic mustard potato salad that came with the Pork Loin platter also got lots of positive comments. But, the entree that got the most rave reviews at our wedding was the Pepe Chicken & Pasta - what a perfect summery, crowd-pleasing dish! I was worried that the creamy sauce might be too heavy but it was just perfect, and we had countless guests raving about it. Holiday boxed up and labeled all of our leftovers at the end of the night so that we could take the rest home. The leftovers were just as delicious in the days that followed :) For our cocktail hour we had a combination of their beautiful appetizer platters (cheese, veggies, Mediterannean) and a few passed appetizers. When our bridal party bus arrived at the venue, Holiday sent a server to the bus with appetizers for us, which was an incredibly nice touch. The Mac & Cheese bites with tomato-bacon jam were a total hit. For dessert, we had a combination of Holiday wedding cake (AMAZING) and homemade desserts made by our families. Holiday could not have been more accommodating, monitoring the homemade sweets as well as the cake and refilling platters as needed. In addition, they patiently served a difficult family member with specific dietary requests, and made sure to label items that were Gluten Free for a few of our guests who needed to know. The Cake: We were able to do our cake tasting on the same day as our food tasting, which was helpful due to our limited time in town (we live out of state). The minute we tasted the chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling, we knew the search was over. I was very impressed by all of the flavors and fillings offered - it was hard to narrow it down to a few for tasting. We ended up going with the Show Special cake because it was such a great value. It had very simple design options but that was fine with us, because we cared less about fancy looks and more about how delicious the cake underneath was. it was very convenient to be able to get both our cake and all of our food from the same incredible vendor, and I would recommend Holiday Market to anyone planning a wedding in the metro Detroit area.

At Holiday Market, you absolutely get what you pay for. Our cake was so good at our wedding, we didn't have any leftovers! When talking to our guests, some people told us they had 2 or 3 pieces of it! And you get a free cake on your wedding anniversary, which is a good thing for us because we didn't have any to save!

Holiday Market baked us four different flavors of cakes for us to try, and even let us take them home to allow our family to sample them. On the wedding day, they brought our cupcakes and wedding cake promptly to our reception location. We received many positive comments from our guests on the cake and cupcakes (especially the salted-caramel flavor), and many of our guests went for second and third helpings! All-in-all, we highly recommend Holiday Market for your wedding baking needs. The staff is very personable, professional, and prompt - and the cakes are delicious!

licious! I know you're supposed to save the top tier of the cake and eat on your one year anniversary, but I am kind of dying to eat it now (2 weeks after) - it was SO good! We knew the cupcakes were good too, because after ordering 200 of the, only 10 of them remained at the end of the night.

a hit and majority of the people didn't realize was gluten free. The best and even one of the most inexpensive gluten free cakes we could find. I would highly recommend them and would get a cake done here again for sure.
