r you! Our cake was not only beautiful, but also extremely delicious. There was not a single slice left after the reception, other than our top tier that we saved!

All the cakes and fillings we tried were delicious, but we chose an incredible combo: one layer almond cake with lemon curd and white chocolate mousse filling (yum), one layer lemon cake with white chocolate mousse filling with fresh berries folded in (yum yum). The cake was moist and flavorful and the fillings out of this world. We were going to have other assorted desserts as well, so Michael helped us choose a smaller cake. We decided to go with square layers to play off the architectural elements of our venue. We added a few simple flowers, a cake topper to hold pictures, and a few gold fondant chevron details on the bottom layer. It came out beautiful!!!

retty sure these guys screwed us over on our back of house cake. Out of 150 slices of cake, and only 160 guests, you'd assume most of the guests would've gotten cake. Except they didn't. Our front of house cake was smaller -- only for like 60 people -- and the back of house cake was for like 90 people. Almost every guest I talked to didn't get anything. That's a significant amount of cake, and a significant amount of money. On my actual wedding day, I didn't have time to chase down or correct the issue, and I didn't find out about the lack of cake until after the fact. There was literally nothing I could do but be sad that my friends didn't get cake. They also lost my cake stand, which was a total bummer.

We had some pieces left over and I was sure to eat it for breakfast everyday the week after our wedding! We chose to not save the top layer and I cannot wait to order another cake from them for our one year anniversary. My cake was delivered and extra sheet cakes were passed off seamlessly. I requested that the baker put my cake on the cake stand and place the cake topper and flowers and they did an amazing job with this!

The design was also perfect. We did a semi naked cake with white chocolate drip. Everyone complimented the cake. We did multiple cake tastings pre-Covid and this one was by far the best, and was also the best price.

as requested. They failed to do it, put it on top of a gold cardboard circle, and then left the topper and cake stand that we purchased at the bakery. They were forced to bring it back after delivery because they left it initially. This could have been avoided with clear communication. I e-mailed them to follow-up, and they never responded to any of our frustrations. The cake itself is wonderful, and our guests loved it, but I was disappointed with their lack of communication and customer service to us. We had several e-mails and calls to confirm all of these details and none of it was followed through on until two hours before our ceremony.

Our one regret is that we didn't ask to have a little of everything set aside for the two of us so we could enjoy it as much as our guests. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly and eager to help. We had never hired a catering company before, so we really weren't sure what to expect or how much help they actually would be during the set up and tear down of everything, but they were INCREDIBLE!!! They run like a well oiled machine, and had everything cleaned up and taken care of before we could blink an eye! We also really appreciated that they took care of the linens and packed up all the leftover food for us to take home afterward, it was a nice treat not having to worry about dinner the following day! I can't say thank you enough and would 100% recommend Holiday Market to anyone in need of a catering company!!

We ultimately did a "double tasting" with four cakes, and at our wedding, we confidently served three different flavors. Plus, the cake itself was absolutely beautiful. We got exactly what we wanted, from the color to the design, and we couldn't be happier. (Plus, you get a free cake on your one-year anniversary, so there's no need to save a layer in the freezer!)

k dollars. I made several changes to make the price more affordable (1400). I ended up with a brush gold layer and a layer of one single piping design. I also ordered 4 dozen roses and 7 stalks of hydrangeas to go in between the pillars. I originally decided to order the flowers elsewhere (because again their price was too high) and drop them off to HM but somehow they were ordered for the wrong date. So my husband called HM the day before our wedding and they said they would be able to work it out and provide the flowers. I thought they were life savers although the price was $50 more than the original quote. I just figured it was more expensive because it was last minute. Long story short, the piping design was not well executed and the lace they overtopped my top layer with was hideous and sloppy. HUGE disappointment. It obviously didn’t work out as planned and I feel that I should’ve been consulted about how it turned out and maybe asked if I’d like to go without the lace, leave it smooth or try something else. Also there may have been 1 dozen roses on the cake but definitely NOT 4 dozen . Lastly they lost my cake topper! They claimed I never left it with them although it was dropped off at the same time as my cake stand which did make an appearance. Smh. & IM NOT DONE! I had sheet cakes as well and my sheet cakes were left in the kitchen in like grocery store stock boxes UNCOVERED. Can you believe that? They didn’t even come in cake boxes. My caterer had to cover them with Saran Wrap. It’s not about money but about quality and service. & if everything had worked out as planned, I would’ve given 4 starts and said it was worth every penny but it absolutely was not. The 2 stars are granted because the flavors were tasty.
