Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful and tasted AMAZING! Spice cake with bananas foster mousse was a perfect winter wedding flavor combination!! Michael was super communicative throughout the entire process and we felt like we were in safe hands giving creative freedom to his team. The cake turned out lovely and we would recommend Holiday Market to anyone needing a specialty dessert for ANY reason!!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Michael on our wedding cake! He is easy-going and fun to talk to. With his expertise, we had 3 delicious cake flavors for our reception. We are still receiving compliments on each flavor. He even coordinated with our florist so we could have fresh flowers on our cake. They also ensured that everything was delivered on time for our reception. We absolutely recommend Holiday Market for your next event!

Holiday Market was absolutely brilliant with our wedding cake! They provide excellent service to ensure that it is everything you want and can even deliver the cake to the venue for you! Our cake was not only beautiful, but also extremely delicious. There was not a single slice left after the reception, other than our top tier that we saved!

Michael Lupo at Holiday Market was beyond amazing in helping us realize our wedding cake dreams. From the tasting, design and dimensions, to logistics, our experience was flawless. All the cakes and fillings we tried were delicious, but we chose an incredible combo: one layer almond cake with lemon curd and white chocolate mousse filling (yum), one layer lemon cake with white chocolate mousse filling with fresh berries folded in (yum yum). The cake was moist and flavorful and the fillings out of this world. We were going to have other assorted desserts as well, so Michael helped us choose a smaller cake. We decided to go with square layers to play off the architectural elements of our venue. We added a few simple flowers, a cake topper to hold pictures, and a few gold fondant chevron details on the bottom layer. It came out beautiful!!!

Holiday Market was amazing. Michael was so very helpful and answered all questions without hesitation. They offer cake tasting which was very helpful. If you have not had their special order cakes, you are missing out. My wedding cake was beautiful and taste amazing as well! You can certainly trust them with your cake needs. The communication, not only with myself, but also with my venue coordinator was superb. Do not hesitate to hire Holiday Market!

Michael was the one helping me and was absolutely amazing through the process and kept me on track keeping it organized! Cake was also exactly like the photo I showed him. Very happy and cake also tasted great!

While there was quite a bit of change up in the person of contact (to be expected during this time), we loved our wedding cake and the final outcome! We received so many compliments on the look, as well as the taste, of the cake. The price and process was smooth and it was delivered on time. It's been almost two years, so I felt like I could finally leave my review. While the cake tasting process was delicious and working directly with the vendor was pretty easy, I'm pretty sure these guys screwed us over on our back of house cake. Out of 150 slices of cake, and only 160 guests, you'd assume most of the guests would've gotten cake. Except they didn't. Our front of house cake was smaller -- only for like 60 people -- and the back of house cake was for like 90 people. Almost every guest I talked to didn't get anything. That's a significant amount of cake, and a significant amount of money. On my actual wedding day, I didn't have time to chase down or correct the issue, and I didn't find out about the lack of cake until after the fact. There was literally nothing I could do but be sad that my friends didn't get cake. They also lost my cake stand, which was a total bummer.

Our cake was delicious! We had a chocolate hazelnut marble cake with vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside. We got lots of compliments from our guests on how good it was. The planning process was so easy and they were very efficient and responsive.

The Holiday Market in Canton, MI made my wedding cake. I chose to go with a 2 tier with white cake and vanilla frosting due to wanting a crumb coat. I really loved how the crumb coat turned out on the top layer, but not so much on the bottom layer. The cake was absolutely the best wedding cake I have EVER had! We had some pieces left over and I was sure to eat it for breakfast everyday the week after our wedding! We chose to not save the top layer and I cannot wait to order another cake from them for our one year anniversary. My cake was delivered and extra sheet cakes were passed off seamlessly. I requested that the baker put my cake on the cake stand and place the cake topper and flowers and they did an amazing job with this!

Our cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious! We had to change our date twice and they were so nice and accommodating!

The wedding department in the bakery is beyond wonderful. We were so unsure if we’d be able to have a wedding so we placed the order 10 days prior to the wedding. We ordered a mini two tier cake with specialty flavors. One tier was chocolate with chocolate ganache and peanut butter mousse, and the other was pistachio with honey mousse. Both were absolutely delectable. The design was also perfect. We did a semi naked cake with white chocolate drip. Everyone complimented the cake. We did multiple cake tastings pre-Covid and this one was by far the best, and was also the best price.

So glad we chose Holiday Market for our wedding cake!! It was ahhh-mazing! We chose a 3 tier cake (white cake with shire chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries & cherry chip with buttercream). Order was placed with Leanne, who made the experience so easy!

Our cake was gorgeous & just as described and exactly what I asked for. The price was very reasonable and everyone LOVED our cake. The customer service was wonderful & I will definetly use them in the future for events!

Holiday Market did a fantastic job with our Wedding Cake! Our cake tasting was so fun! Ellery was so pleasant and friendly to work with :) Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and was so delicious! We were so happy with them that we actually also ended up having them do our Rehearsal Dinner "Grooms Cake" as well - and it was a huge hit!

The cake is delicious but the customer service is not the best. My husband and I made sure to bring in the cake stand and topper the weekend before so the cake could be built on it as requested. They failed to do it, put it on top of a gold cardboard circle, and then left the topper and cake stand that we purchased at the bakery. They were forced to bring it back after delivery because they left it initially. This could have been avoided with clear communication. I e-mailed them to follow-up, and they never responded to any of our frustrations. The cake itself is wonderful, and our guests loved it, but I was disappointed with their lack of communication and customer service to us. We had several e-mails and calls to confirm all of these details and none of it was followed through on until two hours before our ceremony.

Our wedding cake was the bomb! We went with yellow cake and strawberry jam filling, and Ellery created a magical work of art with three tiers, a beautiful design and a waterfall of fresh flowers. My uncle texted me, and I quote: "Nancy and I have been to more than 18 weddings over the years and we both decided that your wedding cake is the best tasting wedding cake we have ever had." High praise!!

Working with the Holiday Market dessert team (Ellery Cruz in particular) was a real game changer! Not only were we able to order our DELICIOUS wedding cake from them, but that majority of desserts for our all dessert reception came from them as well! Everything, everything, looked and tasted delicious. Our one regret is that we didn't ask to have a little of everything set aside for the two of us so we could enjoy it as much as our guests. We totally forsee ordering a smaller version of our wedding cake on future anniversaries. It's just that good.

Holiday Market's traditional bakery (not the specific wedding department, I believe) did our cake. It was a super simple two tier. The price was extremely reasonable and they were so friendly and helpful. We got a ton of compliments on the look and flavor. I would highly recommend!

We got our wedding cake and cupcakes for our 250 guest wedding, and everything turned out great! They were very cost friendly compared to other bakeries, and super responsive if I had any questions. The cupcakes and cake tasted delicious and we got a lot of compliments on how great our cake looked. I would recommend Holiday Market!

My husband still talks about our wedding cake to this day! We had some amazing pieces left over and our neighbor donated it to our local orphanage. Everybody was over the moon in love with the cake, and they said that they are going to use this facility for their functions in the future! They really catered to our needs and we had full confidence in them to make our day special! The cake was absolutely beautiful as well!

We have been buying birthday cakes from Holiday Market Bakery for years, so when it was time to choose a bakery for our wedding cake, the choice was obvious. We worked with Leanne, who truly saw our vision and created an incredibly beautiful and delicious cake. Leanne was easy to work with and always answered our calls and emails quickly. Holiday Market catered our wedding for 100 people and they did an AMAZING job! We wanted something a little more non traditional for our wedding and Eric the catering manager was able to come up with a delicious menu while staying within our budget. Eric and his staff exceeded any expectations that we could have had, they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. The food was delicious and everyone was so friendly and eager to help. We had never hired a catering company before, so we really weren't sure what to expect or how much help they actually would be during the set up and tear down of everything, but they were INCREDIBLE!!! They run like a well oiled machine, and had everything cleaned up and taken care of before we could blink an eye! We also really appreciated that they took care of the linens and packed up all the leftover food for us to take home afterward, it was a nice treat not having to worry about dinner the following day! I can't say thank you enough and would 100% recommend Holiday Market to anyone in need of a catering company!!

Absolutely LOVED our cake! Both the flavor and the design were absolutely perfect. They're super simple to work with and they have any flavor you could ever imagine. We had pumpkin spice cake with chai spice filling, chocolate cake with oreo filling, and yellow cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh strawberry filling, and every single flavor was a huge hit! I could not recommend them more - especially for how great pricing is too!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and everyone talked about how delicious the cake was! We had a 4 tier cake with lemon and chocolate tiers . We selected cream cheese, Bailey’s, chocolate ganache, and strawberry for the fillings. I only got to taste the little piece while doing the cake cutting, but again, the guests said it was very good.

AMAZING. Before our wedding, we sampled 18 different kinds of cake... and our favorites undoubtedly came from the bakery at Holiday Market. There was simply no comparison, and there never will be. There are so many possible combinations with each one better than the last. We ultimately did a "double tasting" with four cakes, and at our wedding, we confidently served three different flavors. Plus, the cake itself was absolutely beautiful. We got exactly what we wanted, from the color to the design, and we couldn't be happier. (Plus, you get a free cake on your one-year anniversary, so there's no need to save a layer in the freezer!)

My husband and I decided that we only wanted a small cake for the cake cutting tradition and then cupcakes for the guests. Leanne was easy to work with. She offers late appointments certain days of the week which was nice because my husband and I both work. The cake came out just as we wanted and the directions I left for arranging the cupcakes was perfect! Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Leanne was a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating in finding a date for cake tasting when I would be in town. I absolutely loved the cake (we got a twist on their Mary Gateau mini cakes)- and I heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests. We put out the little bit of leftovers the next day for friends and family and it all got eaten right away! Yum! Can’t go wrong with this place!

The croquembouche the Holiday Market team made for us was amazing. The cream puffs were beautifully stacked and decorated, and they tasted amazing. Sandy made the whole process incredibly stress-free, which was wonderful when planning the wedding from out of town!

One of our favorite vendors! Leanne at Holiday Market was fantastic to work with! Everything was so easy and organized. We had two mini cakes to sample (2 cake flavors/4 fillings) at our tasting. Everything was delicious! Our favorite was the strawberry cake with fresh strawberries and whip for the filling. The cake turned out beautiful! Exactly as we hoped. We also rented their gold cake stand. It matched perfect with our wedding colors. Thank you!!! :)

I put a deposit down prematurely and should’ve looked around a bit more. My biggest issue is that they’re over priced. I had a beautiful design in mind for my cake that estimated 2k dollars. I made several changes to make the price more affordable (1400). I ended up with a brush gold layer and a layer of one single piping design. I also ordered 4 dozen roses and 7 stalks of hydrangeas to go in between the pillars. I originally decided to order the flowers elsewhere (because again their price was too high) and drop them off to HM but somehow they were ordered for the wrong date. So my husband called HM the day before our wedding and they said they would be able to work it out and provide the flowers. I thought they were life savers although the price was $50 more than the original quote. I just figured it was more expensive because it was last minute. Long story short, the piping design was not well executed and the lace they overtopped my top layer with was hideous and sloppy. HUGE disappointment. It obviously didn’t work out as planned and I feel that I should’ve been consulted about how it turned out and maybe asked if I’d like to go without the lace, leave it smooth or try something else. Also there may have been 1 dozen roses on the cake but definitely NOT 4 dozen . Lastly they lost my cake topper! They claimed I never left it with them although it was dropped off at the same time as my cake stand which did make an appearance. Smh. & IM NOT DONE! I had sheet cakes as well and my sheet cakes were left in the kitchen in like grocery store stock boxes UNCOVERED. Can you believe that? They didn’t even come in cake boxes. My caterer had to cover them with Saran Wrap. It’s not about money but about quality and service. & if everything had worked out as planned, I would’ve given 4 starts and said it was worth every penny but it absolutely was not. The 2 stars are granted because the flavors were tasty.

Holiday Market was very easy to work with, and my guests loved the cake and cupcakes! There is a minimum spend, however if you are looking for an easy, affordable option this is the one!

The wedding cake was so so beautiful. You can see the excitement on my face when I see the cake for the first time because it was exactly what I pictured and what I wanted. I was so happy! and it tasted delicious. We did the espresso filling for the top layer and raspberry for the bottom two. There was no leftover cake and everyone was talking about how awesome it was!!

My cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Holiday Market was the first place I went for my cake tasting and nothing else even came close after that. 4 layers - 2 made of Dark chocolate cake/Chocolate Genache filling & 2 of Yellow cake/Salted Caramel filling. Simply divine. My guests devoured that cake and wanted to know where I ordered it. I'm looking forward to our anniversary cake!

I was very impressed with the cake quality and decoration of my cake. The only issue was that the cake was presented on a silver foil board though I told them that I had a crystal cake stand I wanted the cake on. They said that I could leave the cake stand at the venue and they would display the cake on it when it was delivered. The beautiful stand was completely disguised by the foil board.

As a person who lives for dessert, I knew my wedding cake had to be absolutely amazing. I was searching for that perfect combination of delicious cake and scrumptious frosting, which was surprisingly hard to find, until I came across Holiday Market. I had no idea they even did wedding cakes, but after my first tasting there, I was sold. Absolutely perfect! The day of the wedding, I could not have asked for a better cake. Amazing cake at an amazing price! We gave them a picture we loved and they made it come true for us. Tons of flavors and fillings to pick from, and frosting to die for. Not your average wedding cake! So good. We highly recommend!

The Holiday Market is the best! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted fantastic. Leanne was so easy to work with and the Holiday Market is so flexible as far as designs and favors of your cake.

Let’s start with the tasting. They email you a list of ALL their cake batter and fillings, and then you have to decide what you want to try (this is the most difficult part). Then you have your tasting: they make you 2 mini cakes with 2 fillings each, so of course we were in heaven and got to take cake home! Holiday had a deal called “show stopper” where you get a 3 tiered cake with basic flavors and fillings (we chose yellow cake with lemon mousse, chocolate cake and almond mousse) for a set price. We did this deal and got a sheet cake on the side with a speciality flavor : pumpkin cake with hazelnut mousse. Our cake was perfect the day of the weddings and we got several compliments on the excellent flavor and frosting! Bonus: we did not need to save our top tier because they will recreate a mini cake for us at our one year anniversary.

Holiday market makes delicious cakes! We opted for a few small cakes to keep the cost down and Holiday market worked with us to stay within our budget and still get a few great looking and even better tasting cakes. We picked up our cake instead of having it delivered and everything was ready on time and packaged so we could easily transfer it to our venue. I would definitely recommend their cake and can't wait to get our anniversary cake!

We ordered cupcakes from Holiday Market for our September 2017 wedding, and they were wonderful! We did 6 different flavors as well as a 6" round cake to top the cupcake stand. It was a beautiful presentation, and several guests commented on how great the cupcakes tasted. I would definitely recommend this bakery for your wedding!
