What a lovely venue!! The garden space, the indoor spaces, and the grounds are beautifully maintained and gorgeous for our special day. The team was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. This was the only venue that we considered. Lynda, Vicki, Jessica, & Zoe made every step of the planning wonderful for us. All the preferred recommended vendors (catering, sweets and cake, flowers, decor, photography and music) were equally as fantastic. Each were vital in making our day so memorable. Thank you a million!

On the day of the wedding, the staff went above and beyond to make everything run seamlessly. Even with a snowstorm happening outside, the whole event was absolutely beautiful. The barn itself is stunning and created the perfect setting for such a special day.

ncluded in the price, like all-wedding-day venue accessibility and a 5-hour premium bar! Vicki, Katie, and all the staff worked hard to make sure my daughter had the perfect day. Accommodating, friendly, and communicative, the Hoosier Grove Barn staff were always happy to answer our questions, give a tour, help plan our decor, and provide vendor suggestions (and they have great vendor suggestions!). When we were bogged down in details, they were the calm in the storm, helping us sort everything out. These people know what they're doing!

pace and reception layout are endless. We worked really closely with Vicki and Jessica was our day of coordinator. They both were so great and helped so much! Vicki was there to answer any and all questions we had leading up to the wedding and Jessica/ Hoosier Grove Staff made sure everything executed perfectly, they even calmed the Bride's nerves prior to ceremony. I can't recommend enough how beautiful the venue is. We planned to have our ceremony in their garden but the Midwest, being the Midwest decided to be extremely chilly the day of. Hoosier Grove effortlessly transitioned from plan A to plan B. We ended up having our ceremony inside their charming schoolhouse. It was very intimate and perfect! Everyone left our wedding with their belly's full, a little under the influence, and smiles on their faces. That is all we could ask for and Hoosier Grove played a HUGE role in making that happen!

was our first choice and we were soooo happy to hear they had our date available! Every single detail was thought of, helped with and set up to be beautiful. Everything I needed was provided and if I forgot something, they had it! Honestly they were there for us till the very end. This day was perfect (despite the rain) and it was a huge thanks to this venue and their team. I would do my wedding at Hoosier Grove Barn over again and in every single lifetime with my husband 🩶

I loved everything about this venue when we booked and everyone made me feel SUPER supported the entire time up until the day of.
Our coordinator left for a concert which ended up...
making my sister and mother do the left over stuff to do even though i was informed we wouldn’t have to do it.
We also had to stop halfway through our wedding to clean out the basement of the school out (it just had our clothes down there from changing) because they wanted to lock it. I paid good money to have my wedding here and the fact that I had to postpone my first dance to clean up is the reason this venue doesn’t get more than 3 stars.
it’s a beautiful place and overall i had an amazing wedding.. but the lack of coordinator half of the day and the lack of communication about the school house really upset me.

Someone is always on-site day-of, to help as needed, unfortunately, it cannot always be the same person the entire day as we do allow you 9 AM-Midnight.
We would never ask a couple to postpone their first dance to clear out personal items, so perhaps there was a miscommunication.
I'm glad that overall you felt you had an amazing wedding.

ngings the Sunday after, the process was easy, well communicated, and truly smooth.
We had a fairly large wedding, and the team at Hoosier Grove was able to accommodate us despite being well over their "maximum". We loved the schoolhouse, barn, and having access to the whole property vs. just one room or one building. There was never a doubt in their mind that it would work - and that it did.
Having Vicki 'included' with the venue is such an advantage over other places that we considered. She was fantastic with large decisions like a photographer and caterer as well as little decisions like day-of snacks.
With so many local hotels, restaurants, and things to do around the venue, it was the perfect spot for us with about half the wedding traveling in from Pittsburgh.
Don't even thinking about it, just go see Vicki and Mallory for a first conversation. You won't regret it!

because within the first few minutes, we knew that it was perfect for us. Mallory answered all of our questions during the tour, and when it was over, we were so excited to sign our contract and make it official. Over the course of the planning process, our wedding coordinator, Vicki, did an amazing job of touching base with us and making sure that we were on the right track with what we needed to get done. She always got back to us so quickly whenever we had questions or concerns, which made us feel so at ease when our wedding day finally arrived. Our wedding rehearsal beforehand was very structured, and our entire wedding party knew exactly what their roles were and where they needed to be, thanks to Vicki’s organization, knowledge, and experience. Our wedding day went effortlessly and flawlessly thanks to Vicki and the rest of the staff, and I never felt like I had to worry at all. I could gush about Hoosier Grove Barn endlessly, and if you’re looking for the perfect place to have a wedding, you’ve found it! We’ll remember our wedding here for the rest of our lives! We had constant support through the months leading up with decisions, Vicky was very knowledgeable and very easy to work with at a time when things could have been difficult. When the day arrived, the whole experience was amazing from how everything looked, how the staff was available for whatever was needed and how they helped our day move along smoothly from start to finish. We were able to enjoy our day in every way because of the fact they had it all taken care of and in the best way possible. The entire staff was extremely helpful and forthcoming, too. Many of our friends are actually thinking of using/recommending this venue.

house, all in one location! They provided a list of vendors for every area of a wedding we needed, and all the vendors we used from the list were amazing. Vicki and her team made the wedding as smooth as it could’ve possibly went. From set up to take down, everyone was extremely helpful. Our guests had nothing but nice things to say about our bartender, Brian. He remembered people’s drink orders as they went to the bar. Our host, Amy, helped navigate my two year old son, who was our ring bearer, during the entrance to our ceremony. She also took great care of my wheelchair-bound grandmother during our reception. The entire team helped put together a day/night that we will remember forever. I highly recommend Hoosier Grove Barn to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

ng coordinator Vicki sprang into action to keep everything running beautifully. Our indoor reception was just as gorgeous as it would have been outside, the room was flipped quickly, and we had the wedding of our dreams!
During rehearsal and the wedding day, Vicki kept everybody on track and on time. In working with her in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, so much of my stress was alleviated because I knew we were in great hands and that things would run smoothly.
The rest of the HGB staff were just as amazing. Our bartenders were fantastic and our drinks were delicious. We received so many compliments on the venue space, too.
I am so glad we chose them for our big day. Thanks HGB and Vicki!

to meet in person to go over more detailed questions she set up a meeting no problem.
Day of, Vicki and the rest of the team were ON TOP OF IT. You might not think about this beforehand, but no matter how supportive your family and friends are, every single person in your wedding party/immediate family has a pre-existing relationship with you, and they likely have their own concerns. Having someone like Vicki, who is ONLY concerned with you and your day is extremely beneficial when the stress kicks in.
Maybe your sister wants to take more pictures and your friend from out of town wants to chat and your mom wants to fix your hair but your friends want to do a toast together - Vicki will be there to ask you for what YOU want, and if it doesn't align with whatever else is going on, she'll make sure it happens for you!
The entire rest of the staff at the barn is ALSO on top of things, and there were many times where I asked a coordinator who wasn't working our wedding questions and they were just as willing to help too!
I was happy with the look, price, and included bar in the venue, but ultimately it was the service on the day of (and prep ahead of time) that left such a good impression. I can't recommend them enough!

Great for an intimate wedding under 100 guests and incredibly beautiful during fall.

in the garden and it was such a wonderful event. The team decorated exactly how we wanted it and they were there with us every step of the way. The barn itself was breath taking and every guest I spoke with commented how pretty it was. It is a fantastic location for anyone that wants simple yet elegant. The morning of the event I was a little freaked out about getting everything done (we had an early wedding and only had 2 hours to set up).
I shouldn't have worried because the team knows exactly what they are doing and it was all done on time and exactly how I pictured it. The entire team was wonderful to work with and everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend this location to anyone who asks.

as stunning for our ceremony and felt very quaint, and we loved the charming rustic feeling of the barn. we also loved having a space to get ready and the room was big enough for all 10 people! we got the total decor package and loved how everything turned out and it made it much easier for us to set up and tear down.
every staff working the event was very friendly and attentive to us! we felt the day went very smoothly and we only learned about minor mishaps after the fact! we wish we remembered to announce our fire pit because only a few guests knew about it since it was outside the barn. big shout out to mallory for helping us with hanging up our arch flowers, our coordinator katie for keeping us on time, vicki for helping with the planning and decor, and tricia and vicki for all of their help at the reception!

incredible drink package. The bartenders made incredible drinks (we had a signature cocktail Paloma and Wisconsin Old Fashioned) and our guests said they were some of the best drinks they've ever had. Vicki was incredible throughout the planning process and you can absolutely tell her experience shines through. She made our wedding dreams come true and was so responsive to our requests. We had our ceremony in the garden which was STUNNING! Cocktail hour was on the campus lawn complete with corn hole and jenga. Reception was in the barn and it is just stunning, the decor that comes with the barn is magical.
We had our hotel block in Chicago and hired a charter bus to take guests out so you guys can have it all too!
Can't say enough about HGB. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

l as the historic school house and there are so many wonderful places for photos. The package was affordable and included and awesome bar service with so many great options for guests! Everyone on the staff is great and very helpful. From the day we chose this venue, the coordinators were in contact with us walking through the whole process, keeping us on track with tasks, and making everything run smoothly. Our day of coordinator, Vicki, was so instrumental in ensuring the whole day was amazing! She helped calm my nerves and checked in with me throughout the whole day to make sure everything was going well and went above and beyond to bring my vision of this day to life! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

r side (we had 90 people), this place is a no-brainer. They offered a décor package which saved us time, money, and stress. They listened to our Lego-themed vision and helped execute it wonderfully. Vicki keeps everyone on time and the event running smoothly. She was so responsive throughout the whole process. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the venue. Great value and we were so happy with how the day went.

Vicki and her team at Hoosier Grove helped immensely with our wedding planning process. They provided a list of vendors for us which we did end up using quite a bit from. They checked in with us to make sure we were booking vendors at a timely pace, and they helped make our wedding day go so smoothly. It was so nice that the day of coordinator was included in the venue's cost!
We used their open bar and bartenders, they did a great job. We went with Uncle Bub's catering (a venue recommendation) and highly recommend them! They were delicious!
We 110% recommend Hoosier Grove Barn if you're wanting a rustic barn wedding. Our wedding photos turned out beautiful, and the venue will always hold a special place in our heart.

atever questions we had and helped us find all of our other vendors. When it showed rain on our feeding day they helped us come up with a back up plan which relieved so much anxiety. -- and their truly incredible event management. Everything-- from coordinating with vendors, to working through details with us, to the space set up-- was absolutely perfect. Vicki and Katie were awesome to work with and made the day run so smoothly.
The weather was perfect and it was so nice to take full advantage of the great space-- to be able to have cocktail hour, lawn games, dancing, and s'mores outside. The wedding was everything I dreamed it would be and--because the Hoosier Grove Barn staff was so on top of everything (both leading up to the big day and day-of)-- the groom and I got to enjoy every minute of it.
I would pick Hoosier Grove Barn a thousand times over.

We were fortunate enough to work with Vicki as our day-of coordinator, who is an absolute rockstar, and made my wedding day worry-free. Mallory, Vicki, and the entire staff are absolute class acts!!
We were thrilled to see the little add-ons the venue provided, including a champagne toast, fire pit, wedding arch, and many other options to help tailor our day exactly as we imagined.
Of all of the parts of my wedding, booking with HGB was the best decision we made. All of our guests were blown away with how gorgeous the barn and campus were, and raved about the service and well-stocked bar. We had an amazing wedding day/night, in large part thanks to HGB. I could not recommend booking with them enough!!
