The people who work here are unprofessional. I should have went with my gut when I first met them! I was ignored by the two women who work there, and the young man that wrote the notes for my wedding apparently has no idea what he is doing.
...
I called the florists the morning of my wedding to tell them what room in the hotel to deliver my flowers. I was told that they didn't have a file under my name, and that I must be calling the wrong florists. After I assured her I knew they had my flowers she looked again and said, "Oh, yea. Sorry. I'm wrapping your flowers now."
I was getting my hair done when the flowers were delivered and immediately noticed that my white bouquet was covered in brown spots, and the bridemaids bouquets were surrounded with green filler, even though I specifically said I want no fillers. So, the young man went away and said he would fix it.
When he returned, I was still getting ready, and he showed me that the DEAD and BROWN flowers had been replaced, and left. On my way to the church I realize that my bridesmaids bouquets were buds, not blooms. The entire bridesmaid bouquet was the size of a half dollar. It looked like a joke. All of the bouquets were wrapped in white instead of ivory (even though I sent and IVORY fabric swatch to them at their request to match my dress. The flowers were all wrapped sloppily to the end (even though I asked for exposed ends). During the pictures BEFORE the ceremony, my bouquet fell apart. Yes, my $425 bouquet fell apart before the ceremony. The pins weren't straight, and the flowers had not been taped or secured before they were wrapped. The bridesmaids "bouquets" looked like a single stalk of green broccoli. The bouquets were supposed to be used to decorate the head table at my wedding reception, and the wedding cordinator said that it would be best if I just threw them all away, and put the situation out of my mind. She explained that I should call the florists after the wedding, because the flowers were so horrible they MUST be embarrased and ready to OFFER a refund.
Wrong.
My husband called (because I was too upset). First, he was told if I had a problem, I should have said something when the flowers were corrected the first time. He explained I was getting ready for my wedding, and checking all the specifications of the flowers a second time was not on my mind. Especially since the guy that delievered them RAN out as soon as he threw the box of flowers down. The florist told him that hydrangeas aren't suppose to be in bloom in bouquets, and that was the industry standard. Yes, her excuse was that WE were confused about wanting flowers with blooms. She came up with 1000 excuses that were equally ridiculous. She kept referring to things not being in the contract, such as the exposed ends. That is odd because they provided no contract (obviously another sign I missed). Since I had emailed her the swatch, and she couldn't back out of wrapping in the same color, she finally agreed to give $100 refund because the satin did "look" white. Basically, a $100 refund was more of an insult than anything.
I beg you to avoid these people. That is unless you want sloppy flowers that haven't bloomed from unprofessional and incapable "florists".
