We interviewed several videographers before choosing to work with Interstellar Films. My conversation with Sebastien gave me the impression that he is very passionate about the work he does. Watching other videos he has produced, showed his attention to detail and an uncanny ability to bring out the connection between a couple and their family/friends. When we received our video after post production, it was amazing. The reason I wanted a video is the first place was to have something to share with family and friends that were unable to attend our special day. I feel like Interstellar was able to capture our emotions and show the joy we all experienced that day. The aerial shots of the coastline really brought out the beauty of our venue. Interstellar Films’s ability to use drones in their production really sets them apart from other vendors. The high quality of the images, the sound - everything was professional and reflected Interstellar Films standards. We love our wedding videos, our family and friends have enjoyed seeing our big day. My daughter and her fiancé chose to marry in California but lived out of state for work. As the mother of the bride living in California, I assisted by vetting vendors. I set out to find a videographer and wanted a great one as my future son-in-law is a decerning photographer, thus I knew he would share my wish to hire a firm that could make an exquisite cinematic story. The couple chose Nestldown as the venue and due to the property’s vastness, we believed hiring a videographer with experience photographing this location made sense. I started with the venue’s preferred videographer list, reviewing for each videographer provided, websites and Instagram posts filmed at Nestldown. When I got to Interstellar Films I became immediately interested, their website was clean and modern, and the Instagram shorts films were so captivating I began watching all their videos. What attracted my attention was how Sebastien Manceau, owner of Interstellar Films can create videos with a very personal storytelling style, using intimate moments for each couple using nuances, and creative style that display the unique connection and energy that exists between the couple and their friends/family. Setting up a first call with Sebastien was simple, and I was happy to find the wedding date was still available on his calendar. He took the time to explain the different packages and listened as I conveyed the artsy feel, I hoped the videos would include. Furthermore, he understood that I wanted these videos to show a melding of two families and cultures (my son-in-law and his family are from El Salvador). On the day of the wedding, Sebastien arrived on time, had his equipment in hand, and was the ultimate professional. He made everyone immediately comfortable with his warm personality and calm demeanor. Collaborating with our photographer, Chloe Ramirez, he captured the most important parts of the day, the vows, speeches, and candid looks, and created films that are an absolute joy to watch. I am particularly pleased we selected the package which included the teaser film, it is super creative and can be shared via email or on Instagram. My partner and I had debated for a while over whether we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding. I am an extremely picky person, which made choosing vendors for our wedding all the more difficult. We ultimately decided that having a videographer would be worth the cost. I probably looked at over 100 different videographer’s, before I came across Interstellar. We hopped on a call with Sebastien and could immediately tell that he’s incredibly passionate about what he does. Hiring him was a no brainer. He puts so much thought into the process, and it was completely stress free. On the wedding day, Sebastien was there, and also not there, in all the ways we could have asked for. It never felt like he was overbearing, or like there was a camera in our face. He was involved in a way that felt comfortable, considerate, and respectful. I hate hugging people, and I gladly hugged him at the end of the night, haha. There were parts of the day where my husband was visibly stressed, and Sebastien was always there to offer words of comfort, which put my husband at ease. After the wedding, Sebastien was very communicative regarding the completion date of the videos, which we appreciated. Once we received all of the videos, we were so blown away. All of his work exceeded any expectations we had. We’re so glad that we decided to book with Interstellar, because now we have several beautiful videos that we can watch on our anniversary, for years to come. Simply put, Sebastien is a man written by a woman - he’s a joy to be around, and if you’re getting married, you need to book him immediately! He’s the ultimate hype man.

Sebastien is extremely professional, and has been helpful with shaping how we wanted our wedding film to be. He worked very well with our photographers and coordinator and was very flexible throughout the wedding day. He went with the flow of our wedding day and always made sure to keep us comfortable with all the shots that were taken. The final wedding films were very well done and we loved the final product. He was very communicative and fast to respond when we asked for revisions as well. We would highly recommend Sebastien to our friends!

Sebastian produced an incredible video that perfectly captures the essence of our once in a lifetime day. Sebastien and his team was everything we were hoping for and more! Not only did Interstellar seamlessly integrated to our day of the wedding but helped us really take in our special day. I know it isn't easy to be present all day with a crazy schedule but sitting down and working with him made us feel comfortable that we were in good hands and watching our video just feels like we're reliving the day over and over, seeing all the details we weren't able to see. Can't not say enough how much it meant to us and I'm sure even our guests that they added so much more to be a part of our wedding. What is there to say but WOW! We were very close to not getting a videographer but decided last minute and I will be forever thankful not only that we did but that we found Interstellar Films! He managed to somehow balance being unobtrusive but still capturing the emotions of my family and friends. I will be forever thankful to have this footage to watch over and over again.

There are no words to describe how amazing it was working with Sebastien. He NAILED IT! Our videos turned out amazing and he absolutely exceeded expectations. Everything was perfect: the clips he chose, the music, the overall vibe. From the first time we chatted with him he was so clear, communicative and professional. Each time we met with him, he brought the energy and always made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Thanks to Interstellar Films, we get to re-live our wedding day anytime that we want. Sebastien was such pleasure to work with. Right off the bat we appreciated his open and clear communication style. There is nothing more helpful during the stress of planning a wedding than a vendor who responds promptly and extensively. Whenever we had a question or concern we could always depend on Sebastien. It almost felt like he was available 24/7! Our wedding day was such a blast. Sebastien is a consummate professional. He showed up early to get drone footage of our first look cliffside spot so we wouldn't need to scramble during first look. We're still in awe at the footage he captured. Throughout the day, we appreciated the pep talks here and there, the calm and fun tone with which he was able to direct a scene, or the ability to know when to just melt into the background and capture our moment. We also had two photographers following us around and it could have easily felt like too much, but, we were very glad he was able to easily work with them and keep up the good vibes! The videos he delivered to us were everything we could have asked for! He captured every moment we cared about and more. His editing really showed off the emotions we and our guests experienced that day. After the fact, we ended up asking Sebastien for some footage for our two additional ethnic ceremonies. Being the ever ready professional, he had them turned around to us IN A DAY. We now know that we could not have hired a better videographer for our day. We cannot recommend him enough.

Sebastien was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with! He made it so natural for us to be filmed during our wedding day. We only interacted with Sebastien a few times before the wedding. We had a brief call with him to introduce ourselves and filled out a form to help Sebastien understand more about us. While that might seem concerning at first, as a couple who had a lot to coordinate, Sebastien was quite refreshing because we did not have to worry about him. On the day of our wedding, Sebastien's professionalism towards his work was exactly what we expected. There was a lot going on, but he made capturing our special moments feel really natural and fun. His videos also covered the highlights of our wedding in the captivating way we wanted, making it easy to share with friends and family. I would highly recommend Sebastien to anyone who wants a videographer who treats your special day with the highest level of professionalism and respect.

We are very lucky to have Sebastien as videographer for our wedding. Sebastien was very responsive and easy to work with. My hubby and I didn’t get any pressure to stage anything for the sake of getting good pictures or videos. The wind and the cold was a lot to take-in, but I never heard any complaints from Sebastien. I badly wanted to get the full view of the location too, but he was able to get the shots I wanted even with many limitations. Most of all, Sebastien captured our wedding and the emotions that we had that day so beautifully, I “happy cried” watching the videos much more than in the actual wedding day! Thank you!!!

If you are questioning if 1/ you need a video for your wedding and 2/ is Interstellar Films the right fit? Both answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. My husband and I can not thank Sebastien enough - first off, he is a JOY to be around, made the entire day such a great experience, and I don't think he stopped smiling the entire day??? Our wedding video is one of our most cherished things we have post wedding, and this is coming from a couple who almost passed on the video. Sebastien surprised us with a mini clip video of the bride/groomsmen we got a few days after the wedding that was SO cute/such a great memory. He provided a shorter and longer wedding film, and this included drone shots of the venue. The quality blew us away. You will not be disappointed with Interstellar!

Sebastien was a star! He is so kind, fun and brought really great energy to our day. He fit in so well, we never felt like we were "on camera" or felt uncomfortable in any way. I didn't even notice he was filming the dance floor until I saw the video! He also used multiple cameras so our ceremony and speeches have multiple angles which was such a cool surprise. We were on the fence about hiring a videographer when it came to budgeting, but once we met Sebastien and saw our video we were so happy we did! We specially loved the full videos of our ceremony & speeches, they are so special. Sebastien was also very self-sufficient and needed little from us leading up to the wedding which was so appreciated during wedding planning. So for anyone on the fence, we highly recommend Interstellar!

My husband and I are so very grateful that our wedding planner helped us find Interstellar Films. In the beginning of planning, we had our first introduction phone call with Sebastien after taking a look at the Interstellar Films website. He was so nice and very professional. You could just tell that he really loved what he does and really wants to capture a couple’s story in the best way possible. The process of picking a package was also super easy and straightforward, we were able to get everything that we could’ve possibly asked for, even raw footage! We finally met Sebastien the day of the wedding, and he was just a breath of fresh air because he was fun to talk to and has a very welcoming and warm presence. It’s always a little nerve wrecking being in front of a camera, yes… especially on your own wedding day, but Sebastien made my husband and I feel 1000% comfortable. Honestly most of the day it was as if there wasn’t a camera because of how smooth everything went. Most of the clips were moments I didn’t remember was being captured, but I guess that’s the point!! Sebastien captured every possible moment that was worth remembering. WOW! When I was first wedding planning, I was on the fence about videography, but Sebastien came highly recommended to me by a previous bride he worked with and I am SO glad I booked him. We are replaying what Sebastien made for us over and over!! He captured our whole vibe we were going for so perfectly and beautifully- we are SO impressed!! Sebastien and Brian are amazingly talented folks. The care and attention that they provided throughout the whole process made us feel like we were working with friends/family and not some 'vendor'. They were super responsive, paid attention to our wants/needs, and somehow provided an amazing recap video of our day despite a few hiccups that we encountered (out of our control) day of... like a downpour of rain... ha! I always knew I wanted to have videography at my wedding but wasn’t sure who or what I would need. I did extensive research and just watched endless video samples on YouTube, online, and found ones that fit my needs which were capturing the details of the big day and the scenery too since I wasn’t local to my venue location. In addition, I knew I needed a crew that was not in my face, intrusive and literally would be in the background you forget because I am that shy and I even brought it up at the consult. It’s like for someone as shy as me I thought of wanting these things but wasn’t sure to bring up, but after learning more about the company and speaking with Sebastien, I knew even more I needed that for myself and was assured confidently. After narrowing down the search it came down to talking to the vendors and the best experience for us was when we had a consultation call with Sebastien and we were so comfortable! We came prepared with a list of questions that was answered in detail, we also learned more about him and his services and everything was so comfortable and open, which is important to feel this way because on the big day you won’t have time to think about every single thing that happens that day and you want to feel like you can trust your vendors. Sebastien went above and beyond not only providing us top services in being knowledgeable of his work , in making sure we were always comfortable during the call, on the big day, as well as even providing advice on the big day when things got crazy and after the big day when everything happened so fast I had to recap with someone that wasn’t a part of my bridal party or my family, someone to vent to that was neutral and saw all that happened on the big day and to help provide insight. This is definitely like paying for services but with bonus services! I didn’t even know how overwhelmed I was and he was the only vendor to ask me if I was okay and if things were going the speed I needed and to speak up if I needed anything or needed to slow down. I had no idea how much that was needed. The crew is also so friendly and felt like family and was constantly observant and respectful of myself and family, we felt really taken care of! I was also worried the cameras would be too close or intrusive and I didn’t even know they were there and that was a reassurance I was given since the day I virtually met Sebastien and it held true. After the big day, I had a long but very deserving wait for the final videos due to the rush of the holidays but when ready, everything I ever requested and hoped for was captured in the video with the smallest to largest of details, I was so amazed and still am! I definitely cried watching my videos. I was told and recommended by many people that you will regret it if you don’t have a videographer, and they were right. Even my photographer recommended that this service is a must because the story is captured differently even when a still photo may not. This definitely was worth everything I have and I can’t stop watching my videos over and over, reliving the special day and believe me, you will want and need that because that big day sometimes can be a blur. You will also be receiving cinematic high quality which is also so worth it and makes you feel like you’re in a real movie and I hardly recognize myself ever in this light. My goal was to capture the scenery, to focus on the big day, to see the details I worked so hard to put together for it and most importantly, see and feel the moments, capturing the emotions and memories of us and with those that I love. I am so thankful that I was hesitant initially with whether I wanted this or needed this, if I could push my shy away and when I learned, I became comforted and supported by such a good team before, during and after the big day! Thank you so much Sebastien for helping me capture my love story and I will never forget what you’ve done for us and I wish you the best with your continued success as your passion really shows in your work output and your kindness helps make the already stressful day a breeze. We got married in August, and I can't even put into words how amazing Sebastien was to work with. From the booking to final consult, to the day of, he exceeded our expectations above and beyond! We had two videographers that arrived promptly, they were so friendly and fun to work with, and listened to everything I was wanting to see in our video. They were sure to keep us updated during their time at our wedding, while also letting us enjoy our day. To make it better, we received our video so quickly, without compromising the quality. Sebastien from Interstellar Films was terrific to work with at our wedding in October of 2023. Communication was prompt ahead of the wedding, which I always appreciate, and he was punctual for the getting ready portion. He provided us with some direction on the day of when needed, but otherwise was unobtrusive, and the video/highlight reels were beautiful and of high quality. And the audio was very clear!
