Reese, Alan, and Ezra really went above and beyond to make our day so special. They even created a 5 minute video that was shown AT OUR RECEPTION. Our guests went wild. It was so beautifully done--they have an artistic eye that brought more beauty to a day that was perfect. We checked out Isle Media in Hawaii even though we got married in Las Vegas and it was worth it to have them travel. They were reasonably priced but their product speaks for itself. This was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process.

I couldn't be more impressed, satisfied, content (the list goes on) about Isle Media's services. We booked our DJ, Emcee, and photography through Isle Media. DJ and Emcee were very funny and entertaining. Our photographers captured every moment. The pictures turned out amazing!!

Here I go with a way too long overdue review for Isle Media. First off, hands down the BEST photography and videography company in the state! My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Alan and his Isle Media team on two occasions, our wedding and our maternity shoot. First things first... our wedding. Prior to our wedding my wife and I lived in Las Vegas, which made it hard to meet up and talk business in person. Being the professional that he is, Alan was very accommodating and set up face time and video chats all throughout the process, even before we even agreed to use them! He set the bar by actually wanting to know more about us and treated us as friends, not just as clients. The more we talked, the more we knew that he was going to do a great job capturing those "precious moments" throughout our wedding day. My wife and I got married on November 14th, 2015 and yes... this is a super late review lol. OUR WEDDING DAY. Professionalism is knowing how to do it, when to do it, and doing it... and Alan and his team hit the ball out of the park. They were able to capture amazing shots and video from the moments of us getting ready in our own hotel rooms, throughout our wedding ceremony, and all throughout our wedding reception as well. I'm not the most photogenic guy and dislike being the center of attention, but the Isle Media team made everything so easy and relaxed. Without any effort, they were able to shoot things and moments that I can't even recall happening at the wedding and I am so thankful for that. Also, as for our Same Day Edit... WOW!!! They're quality of work was marvelous. My wife and I were just sitting in our seats in awe of such a wonderful job they did. Even a lot of our guests were tripping out of how they created such an incredible video in such little time! Isle Media's quality of work is nothing short of the best and to this day we still receive compliments of how they did such an awesome job during our wedding day. Honestly, just stop here and stop looking for any other photography/videography vendors because Isle Media is THE ONE. Trust me, it'll save you a lot of time interviewing other companies. I really can't rave enough about Alan and his crew at Isle Media. It's no surprise that after the wedding he made a couple of extra bookings from our wedding guests here in Hawaii, and he's being requested at a luxury wedding in Washington DC because a wedding planner friend of mine on FB saw the highlight video from our wedding! I am a very picky person when it comes to photography/videography because I have both as a hobby (albeit amateur) but I always want to be sure that if I'm paying for these services, they will do & create things I am unable to do on my own and they ABSOLUTELY did that. Their professionalism is also apparent from the very beginning. Alan was a pleasure to work with, not pushy about his services, educational about his competitive advantages and appropriately confident in his teams ability. He really got the best out of us for the engagement/love story we filmed, and his team did an excellent job at capturing all the best parts of our wedding. Highly recommended but this review shouldn't even be needed, please view his sample videos against your other options and it will likely be as clear to you as it was to us!

Alan & his team were awesome! They had quick responses via email, were very professional as they worked with our other vendors & did an awesome job capturing our special day on video!! The drone shots were amazing! We were all so impressed with our same day edit and received so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding appeared from guests who couldn't attend. Isle media takes great pride in their work and I can see why! We also had hair/makeup services with Isle Media, which made life so much simpler for me as a first time mother who was wedding planning at the same time. The MUAs were friendly and did a great job with our makeup, knowing what looks good behind the camera. I highly recommend Isle Media and am so glad we chose them! My husband and I were so lucky to have had these very talented professionals work on our engagement and wedding photos! Our wedding planner highly recommended them to us, and I'm so glad she did! Absolutely stunning work, backed with so much love and passion to capture real life connections and feelings! We were so impressed by so many of our photos! My husband isn't a "picture" kind of guy, but he truly enjoyed having them capture our moments together. Lester T. Was our primary photographer for our engagement and wedding photography, and he was amazing! From the moment we met him, we knew he had a special dedication and eye for capturing special moments. My husband is a surfer and we both love the beach so much, so we planned on taking our engagement photos at ehukai beach, one of his favorite surf spots, on the north shore of Oahu (Lester was there more than an hour before us to scout the venue for places to shoot). To our dismay, the weekend we planned to take our photos, mother nature wasn't cooperating with us. Our plans for a sunny day at the beach turned out to be a rainy, overcast afternoon. We almost felt defeated, but Lester seriously made us so comfortable and confident that we would have beautiful photos, rain or shine! Wow! His creativity and easy going spirit produced stunning images! My husband and I have a "furry baby" and even she felt happy that Lester was our photographer! She looked at the camera in a lot of the shots, and he really incorporated her perfectly into our photos! We didn't have a shortage of beautiful photos to share for our wedding displays because everything came out so good! The overcast weather gave our photos a vingage feel, and unexpected rain turned into such a sweet moment of kisses and dancing in the rain, all thanks to Lester! Some of our favorite pictures were taken in the rain! I shared some of my photos on IG and so many people loved them. On our wedding day, Lester and his co-photographer Reese showed up promptly to take our photos and they were so easy to work with. They were always smiling, helpful in giving direction, and so creative! In our getting ready photos, they used so many things in our room that we wouldn't even think of using as a prop, and it turned out gorgeous. We also took photos at magic island near ala moana, and they used "secret spots" that blew us away! At the wedding, they continued to capture everything so seamlessly, and even though we didn't have many obvious options for backdrops (near pier 38), they really used their creativity, and it was as if all the matson cargo containers and cranes disappeared while we were taking our photos. My husband and I are so happy with what they've done for us! When choosing a photography company, you think of who you can trust the most with helping you to capture and preserve your most precious memories. We trusted them with ours, and we couldn't be more ecstatic with the results!

If you are looking for the whole package for your wedding, ISLE MEDIA is the way to go. I would highly recommend them because they are easy to work with and will make your day go by smoothly. They are total experts in their craft and know exactly what they are doing. H/MU-Zairrah, Photo-Reese,Video-Kyle is the team I had for my day. They knew what kinds of shots they wanted and knew the poses to use. Zairrah put my ideas to together and worked wonders because it was more that what I had envisioned. They were amazing! Also, Reese sent some previews of the photos that were taken so I could use them for my Thank You's. You will not be disappointed if you go with Isle Media.

This review is way overdue, but I could not live with myself if I didn’t share how amazing this team was. From engagement photos, slideshow, photography to our Same Day Edit – everything was done perfectly, professionally, and highlighted who my husband and I are as a couple. The team worked really well with meeting us and getting to know us and then translating it into their art. My husband and I got to meet the owner Alan, who is a hard working man, and his point man and our lead photographer, Lester – who all made the journey and experience of being filmed and photographed not intimidating. They had every emotion captured and all angle covered. I did not have to worry about making sure they got certain shots. They think of everything incase you don’t. We were completely ourselves and they do a great job in reminding us that. I look forward to having them in future celebrations.

I would highly recommend Isle Media for your wedding needs. I booked a photo package and hair and makeup with them and I was very pleased with their services. Our photographer Reese was very professional about his job and made us, our wedding party, and guests feel at ease while taking photos. Off the back you can tell he has many years of experience, knows his venues, knows wedding poses, is comfortable doing events and working within short timeframes. This company took care of us from the get go. Once I booked their services they contacted me right away and I was given options for my big day. I enjoyed working with Zairrah and her team for hair and makeup, they did a great job and did exactly what we asked for and more, I had many compliments that day. There were a total of 9 people that had to be made up that morning and they were efficient and pleasant, everyone was pleased. You can see samples of hair and makeup on their website, this is how I chose them because the photos speak for themselves. I would highly recommend Isle Media, their staff is of a high caliber, you will not be disappointed.

When my husband and I were doing our research on photographers for our wedding from home (Seattle) miles away from Oahu, we had a really tough time trying to figure out which vendors to work with. We have reached out to other photographers, unfortunately we didn't get the responses we wanted or some haven't answered to any of our emails or calls. We did more research and found Isle Media! We browsed through their website and their Vimeo profile. We were so touched with their work. We really were only interested in photography but when I started watching some wedding highlights I immediately felt so touched and wanted a highlight video for my wedding too and of course I called to inquire about video as well! When I called Isle Media they responded to me so quickly and we booked! I was sure that a company like Isle Media would be fully booked months out because their work is so amazing so I didn't take too much time to think about booking them. I was absolutely sure that I wanted to work with Isle Media! Let's not forget, we also needed a hair and make up artist and of course Isle Media also has that!!! I was working with Zairrah and she does such great work! I gave her just a couple of pictures for an idea of how I wanted my hair to look like and she gave me what I wanted and more! If I had to attend an event on Oahu again I will want to call her :)! She is also very friendly!!! On our wedding day, Reese, Travis, Kyle, Brendan, and Zairrah were all so amazing! They all did an absolutely outstanding job! We felt like we've known them for years prior to our wedding! We felt comfortable with them and they gave us more than we expected! They know what they are doing and they do it well so we had no doubts. Our guests and wedding party have also complimented them in so many ways! We are so thankful to have had the chance to work with this team! If we have another event on the island we will definitely work with them again!

We had the pleasure of working with Ms. Kay Salera. We hired her for our traditional Japanese wedding 和装結婚式, family dinner 会食, and Western reception ウェディングパーティー in Osaka, Japan. We currently live in Honolulu and had the convenience of a locally-based bilingual, bi-cultural photographer that could discuss our requirements with full awareness of both our country's and family's respective customs and cultures. We cannot imagine having done the wedding with anyone but Kay, as she was able to fluently and fluidly work with my and my wife's relatives and friends, charming them all. Further, we just received our final copies of our photographs and have been blown away by the beauty of each moment captured. Kay worked tirelessly to get each shot right, and it really shows. If we have another special event in the future, we will definitely request Kay again.

Isle Media is the best. Lester and his right hand man is awesome! My wedding was on March 29,2014 we had our love story done by them and it came out great! Everyone came up to us and told us they loved the video we had everyone crying and laughing. I seen some of my pictures and so far I am loving what I seen I can't wait to see all my pictures! I would recommend Isle Media to everyone they work great with you and your bridal party! Again thank you so much Isle Media for all your great work! And thank you so much Lester your the BEST!

The photographers at Isle Media are very talented and are great at what they do! My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the service we've received from them. They did whatever was necessary to capture the perfect shots without being intrusive or in they way. It was actually the entire team at Isle Media who reminded us of the time and kept us on track throughout the day. Thank you Isle Media for delivering even beyond our expectations!

I shopped around and met with a lot of photographers. When I met Alan, I loved his work, his drive, and the way he put together other weddings. They gave me a lot of ideas and definitely helped make everyone feel comfortable during the wedding photos. He was not in your face, was able to get great shots from very far. He gave me 2 extra hours of photography for booking 3 services with his company, which was awesome and completely unexpected. He is the best!

I used Isle Media for their videography services. Trevor, Jack and Lester were a great team. They made everyone forget they were being videotaped and everyone was able to just be natural. Very professional folks at very affordable rates. I was totally able to customize the services I wanted. Can't wait to see the end results.

The same day highlights exceeded my expectations. They were a pleasure to work with and were open to our ideas.

Our family photographer was unable to travel with us for our big day, so we sadly spent countless, frustrating hours researching photographers in Maui. I was incredibly stressed out as my pictures, aside from the actual "getting married" part, was to me, the most important part of my wedding! I needed a photographer who would capture every special moment of my big day from start to finish and still offer a reasonable price. I found a lot of photographers who seemed great, but actually trusting someone we did not know and would not meet until our big day, was a bit nerve racking. And being that there was no way around that (we live in San Diego), we had to just bite the bullet, take our chances and choose a photographer who could offer the best package to suit all our needs. My friend recently got married in Oahu and used Reese Moriyama as her photographer. She shared her photos and highly recommended him. Being that Isle Media is based out of Oahu and my wedding was in Maui, I thought it was pointless, but I gave it a shot. THANK GOSH! I emailed explaining my wedding situation, my needs and that my wedding was on the 4th of July ( just a few weeks away) and on a different island. Reese responded immediately and not only offered everything I needed, but was able to travel as well. He was sure to keep up with me the next few weeks leading up to my wedding making sure he knew exactly what I wanted and that we had a schedule. From his very first email response, I felt a clear sense of professionalism,yet he was also incredibly personable. He arrived early and shot every second from there on. He sent me some previews just a few days after my wedding and I absolutely fell in love (as well as all of my family and friends!). My photographer from home even said that one of our black and white photos was the nicest wedding shot she's ever seen! And others said it looked like it belonged in a magazine! And of another photo by Reese, our boss wants to blow up and hang at our workplace! We have gotten so many compliments on our photos. I had no idea as he shot thousands of pictures, how beautiful they'd turn out. He didn't just shoot my wedding, but he captured the breathtaking scenery as well as the emotions and personalities of all of us. I am so happy we chose Isle Media Photography. We have beautiful photos to remind us of our special day. Reese was so easy and comfortable to work with. With no doubt I would recommend Reese and Isle Media-Photography, our experience was perfect! Thank you Reese, our actual wedding couldn't last forever, but all the beautiful photos will allow us to cherish our day forever!

Reese photographed our Wedding Day. He captured the most precious, intimate moments of our magical day. He was SO personable, made us feel extremely comfortable, and even laughed at our jokes (which most people don't get!!) (o; Communication with Isle Media from the time we made our deposit was impeccable. Do these guys sleep??? We are on the mainland, and swear at 3am HI time, we'd get responses from our emails to them....The photos that he posted on their blog brought me (and many others) to tears. Reese captured moments I didn't even remember had happened!! Reese and Isle Media's work is truly MAGICAL.....

I do not enough words to describe my wonderful experience with Isle Media. When I first made contact I was at a complete loss! I did not have a ceremony place or time of event. I live in California and was planning everything on my own and was booking vendors one by one and I had just cancelled my ceremony site! Alan from Isle Media was so helpful! He was not discouraged by my situation and said they were available for my date. He even put me in touch with an amazing wedding planner(will be for another review) He then handed me over to Kay who would be my photographer for my wedding. She is the GREATEST! She was always answering any questions I had via email and her responses were quick. She would check in with me periodically to see how my wedding plans were coming along. For the day of Kay and her assistant Lester showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were both so friendly and made everyone feel at ease. Kay rearranged the hotel room just to make sure she snapped the prefect pictures! She has sent me some highlight pictures while I wait for the final product and they are beautiful. Can't wait to see what other amazing moments they captured. Thank you Isle Media and especially Lester and KAY for being there to make my wedding day sooo special! Mahalo :-)

Reese (photographer) and the video team were a great mix of professionalism and creativity, without rigid stuffiness or formality. We wanted our pictures to present our special day in a way that was true not only to our beautiful surroundings, but was true to our personalities as well. While taking the more traditional, expected shots, the professionals at Isle Media were also able to take advantage of the details unique to our wedding - like the raindrops on the handrails, which they photographed with our wedding rings; the rainbow which came out just before our ceremony, which they caught with my husband and his best man on the cliffs waiting for the big moment to arrive; the flower details and train of my dress, which they caught with spectacular drama, using the window-framed jungle as a backdrop; and the playful spontaneity of the day, like the shot of Loren climbing up to see me, like Romeo climbing to see Juliet! These unique shots made the photos of my wedding so extraordinary! My wife and I have all positive things to say about Isle Media Hawaii. Reese Moriyama did an excellent job and was very courteous.
