hing I was sure about when we first got engaged was that I wanted to have Jackie do the hair & make up. I was so sure that I almost didn't schedule a trial, and the only reason I did schedule a trial was because I knew I'd be wearing my hair differently for my wedding than I did in my cousin's wedding. I can be very picky with my hair and make up, but when I showed up to the salon for my trial, Jackie completely listened to what I was envisioning and made sure I was totally happy with everything before ending the trial. She jotted everything down from the trial and took pictures so that on the wedding day she did it the exact same way. I had a very big bridal party - 9 bridesmaids, my mom, myself, and three little girls all getting hair & make up done on the wedding morning and a fairly early church time (2:30 pm). Jackie & her team showed up to my parents house in CT at 6:45 am, 15 minutes before the girls were told to show up so they could have everything set up and start right away. They kept everything running smoothly all day long and had everyone made up, touched up, and done with plenty of time to get dressed and make it to the ceremony. I have some bridesmaids who have A LOT of hair and bridesmaids who are picky and particular like me, but they took everything in stride and made my bridal party look STUNNING. Everyone's hair stayed in all night too, which was amazing. Her work aside, Jackie is so fun to gab with, along with her team. They joined in on the conversation and laughs with my bridesmaids, which definitely helped keep everyone calm and happy. I truly can't recommend Jackie enough. She totally knows what she's doing and what she's talking about. She is also such a nice & enjoyable person and a real professional!

nstantly knew I was going with Jackie no questions asked. She is super easy going and flexible and was able to wrangle the 17 people we had getting ready that morning :). She seamless incorporated my mother in law and my grandmother into the lineup not knowing that they would be looking for make up that day until the morning. from the planning faded away. I felt like I was just sitting and chatting a friend. When I decided 3 months before that I wanted to add in extensions Jackie helped me find the perfect ones! Day of she and her team were able to get through a wedding party of 13 in addition to myself and were finished AHEAD of schedule. Everyone's hair looked great and lasted all day! She also stayed around to help touch up and place my veil after I was dressed. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and I would HIGHLY recommend!

Seriously, Jackie, you had a daunting task to keep my curly hair tamed and my hair looked wonderful throughout the night! Even at midnight after hours of pictures from our first look to dancing outside in the humidity, I didn't even have to put my hair up because it was looking so nice and not frizzing up! And my makeup...I wish Jackie could do my make up everyday! I do not wear much make up normally, but the way Jackie did my makeup turned out beautifully! The fake lashes were gorgeous and I'm so glad I did the air brush! My matron of honor looked gorgeous and still natural! And Jackie and her assistant were so sweet and great with my junior bridesmaid and two flower girls! Plus, Jackie, is just so easy to talk to and so calming!!! Thank you Jackie!!!

I especially appreciated the care Jackie and her team took with my mother and mother-in-law-- they came to the venue and took the time to listen to what our moms wanted and created looks our moms were really happy with. what I wanted for my hair, Jackie met with me as many times as I needed and was always flexible with my schedule. I also had 10 bridesmaids plus me, my mom and 3 flower girls, Jackie said not to worry she'd have a team day of and would create a schedule for me to view a few days before the wedding which she emailed to me and it was perfect! Her team was extremely talented. Every girl looked fantastic and we were on time for photos! A big plus is that she does hair AND makeup, it helps eliminate needing to search for another vendor. Jackie is also a sweet heart, she loves what she does and wants you to be happy so you feel comfortable saying what you like and what you don't like during trials so you both partner together to create exactly what you want ! My mom who doesn't trust anyone to do her makeup loved how she looked. Another big plus, she lets you pay everything prior to the wedding including tip so you don't have to worry about anything day of! I highly recommend Jackie hands down!

s I saw. My daughter joined me for the appointment and the rest is history. My daughter's wedding party was huge, but Jackie had everything under control. She was there at 7 a.m. sharp with her crew and everyone looked great for the photo's. It was a wonderful experience. Jackie is quite the pro.

On the day of the wedding Jackie and her assistant arrived early and the day ran perfectly. We were done early and everyone was so happy with their outcomes. Jackie hit the nail on the head for everyone. Her easy going and fun personality added to the fun of the day. She was able to navigate some of the more difficult personalities of the group and take all of the stress off of me. I cant thank her enough for making me and my wedding party glow on my special day. All of the girls (including myself) went for updos (some with braids) and they looked lovely and stayed in place all night long. Jackie's friend Daniela did our makeup at the same time and the makeup was also lovely—people continue to comment on the photos online saying that we all "look glowing"—we keep joking it's really just the professional makeup! As anyone who's been part of a bridal party before knows, on the day of the wedding, people can be feeling anxious/nervous/etc, and Jackie (and Daniela) brought upbeat and relaxed personalities that helped keep the atmosphere fun and light. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!

st try. For me, I wanted to wear my hair down but curly and my hair NEVER holds a curl! Jackie listened to my concerns and made my vision come true. She recommended that I add extensions that would hold a curl better and even picked up the extensions for me from the store. My hair held its own the entire day (from about 12-11pm). e listened carefully to what I wanted and always got back to me promptly. Since originally my first hair stylist left the country without a warning, I was definitely nervous coming to Jackie. But she assured me everything would come out the way I wanted and it did! My bridesmaids brought pictures of what they wanted and they all came out so well. h my hair, I also brought the head piece I would wear the day of. She trimmed the extensions and would have colored the hair if it was necessary. Everything went off without a hitch the day of. Each of my bridesmaids had a different hairstyle in mind and she made them all look beautiful - and they all loved their hair too. Through Jackie I met Daniela who was great with makeup! I have VERY sensitive skin and my cheek flared up at the initial trial. She offered to do the face makeup a second time (when I went to see Jackie with my extensions) to see if I was sensitive to the makeup, the brush, etc. The lashes were perfect and did not move at all the day of, they were comfortable and did not lift at the corners. These two ladies made me feel so beautiful at my wedding. I would highly recommend this duo for any occasion.

She came early in the morning with her assistant, and with the girls just showing last minute pictures on their phones, was able to style their hair in ways that went with the style of the wedding but also were incredibly flattering for each girl. I have never once liked my hair styled- until I had my hair styled by Jackie. She was able to work with texture and my hair in a way that made me feel absolutely amazing and beautiful. And to top it all off, she is so great to be around. I couldn't recommend her more!

and trials. Jackie came to NYC to my apartment one evening after work to do the hair trial. It was so incredibly convenient and easy. She was personable and professional. I was deathly afraid of looking like a prom queen; I wanted a natural looking updo. Jackie did an excellent job trying to execute the perfect balance between natural and flowy but sturdy enough to last the entire evening. I also had 11 bridesmaids getting their hair done and all needed to be ready by 12:30 pm. Jackie brought an assistant and effortlessly finished everyone's hair on time and with a smile.

Let me say that we absolutely hit the jackpot with Jackie K (and makeup artist Daniella)! First of all, working with them was a complete pleasure. I can personally say that having them work on my hair and makeup felt like hanging out with friends on an average day. I swear the hour and a half I spent with Jackie and Daniella was THE calmest part of the wedding-day-preparation process. Jackie worked with my Grandmother and Mother's hair for the first time on the day of my wedding and confidently styled their hair with ease. They received so many compliments. She showed us how to put the veil in and remove it before she left so that the ceremony to reception transition was seamless. All in all, a wonderful experience.

ut my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I decided to test her out with a regular cut and color as a trial run for her services. I was so delighted by her work, professionalism and easy going nature that she has been my regular colorist and hair expert ever since! With my wedding prep, I had a bunch of pictures saved for both the hair and makeup I liked, but I didn't know what I wanted exactly. I liked a part of one picture and a part of another. I showed Jackie the different styles I liked and asked if she thought she could combine them to one. I wasn't sure if I was communicating well or how it would turn out, but I LOVED how she combined the two pictures I liked! She is so incredibly talented. I knew with my makeup I wanted a smoky dramatic eye, but not too theatrical. For the test she suggested since I am very fair that I should go with a brown smoky eye to match my hair and skin color. At first I was a little bummed by the suggestion, but by this point she had been rocking out my cut and color for over a year so I decided to trust her. WOW!!! She did exactly what I wanted and it looked amazing on me. I really felt like a super model. On the morning of our wedding I got really sick. Part nerves, part something I ate the day before. I couldn't believe that I was sick on my wedding day. Jackie teamed up with one of my bridesmaids and together they had the kitchen bring a whole assortment of things to help calm my stomach. Jackie was calm, friendly, sympathetic and nurturing. She was a key reason my stomach issues passed. I was so so so grateful I chose to have her as my makeup and hair stylist on my wedding day. It was as if an old friend was there by my side and she knew exactly how to make me feel special and pretty, despite having the day start off rocky for me.
