My wife and I contacted Janez Luxury Limo on April 24th to schedule a limo in order take us to and from our wedding venue. We scheduled two services July 2nd at 2:30 pm (for drop off) and July 4th at 11:00 am (for pick up). We talked to Jane, the owner and operator, personally for the reservation. Jane charged us $95 per way for a total of $190. The agreement was that she would drop us off and pick us up 2 days later. We paid a $50 deposit to secure the reservation. I emailed on June 27th to confirm all the details. Our wedding was on July 2nd. Jane was over 45 min late picking us up that day. The company did not call to tell us they'd be late. We had to call ourselves. When we did call she stated that they had the address wrong and that they went to another street. Jane said she would personally come to pick us up and she would be there in 10 min. She arrived within the 10 min and apologized for being late. We ended up having to put our own luggage in the car and when we entered the limo it smelled like cigarette smoke. We ignored it and when on our way to the wedding venue. We paid her the remaining deposit due of $140 before she departed. On the day of our pick up, July 4th, we called Jane to confirm our reservation details and she didn't not answer. A few minutes later she called and left a voicemail and texted us to call her back. We immediately texted back and said we just wanted to confirm our pick up details at 11 am. She replied and said, "ok perfect". We got a little worried when the limo wasn't here a few minutes early. We waited for 15 min then called to ensure the limo was on the way. No one answered our call so we sent a text to the number she texted us from. We still didn't receive a reply. We called and texted on our two phones multiple times and she didn't answer or reply back. Because we are in a very small town and it's July 4th, all transportation is halted. We called several other limo companies, taxi services, the local trolly service, cal rental services, etc and no one was operating today. We finally found a company that dropped what they were doing to come pick us up. We sat outside in the July heat for over 3 hours waiting to finally get in our car from a competing limo service because of the predicament Jane put us in. We remained calm and respectful during the entire event and did not give Jane a reason to treat us like this. In fact, when she dropped us off at the wedding venue, she commented on how calm we were and asked, "Are you two always this calm?" Jane left us high and dry on July 4th on our way home from OUR WEDDING. We do not recommend her services and will be pursuing legal action if she does not reimburse our $95 for the trip home.
