Jazmine Williams Makeup Artistry

I booked Jazmine for my September 2024 wedding. I paid a hefty down deposit, which would include a consultation before the wedding. I was reassured by Jazmine that although the deposit is non-refundable, she works with her brides to achieve their desired look if they do not like their makeup. Unfortunately, I didn't like the makeup that was done in the consultation. I partly blame myself because in person I told Jazmine that I liked it, but when I was able to look at myself alone with no pressure and no one watching me, I noticed quite a few things, specifically about the eye makeup that I didn't like. The wings were two different shapes and covered my entire eyelid (like Amy Winehouse) and the eyeshadow was all one color/not very blended at all. This one color was slapped on my eyelid from my lash line to my eyebrow - so I looked like a clown. To be fair, I do also blame myself for sending a few different inspo pictures, which MAY have confused Jazmine as to what I wanted but... the makeup I was given looked nothing like any of the pictures that I sent and regardless of my inspiration pictures, the eye makeup was just wasn't good. I'm sorry, but it was just really unprofessional. There was no finesse. When I got in the car, my cousin and fiancée honestly told me that it wasn't good - before I even told them how I was already feeling. A day later I messaged Jazmine a very long email, apologizing for the inconvenience but stating that I didn't like my makeup. I wanted to be SPECIFIC because I didn't want her to be confused as to what I wanted in the future. A month later, I never got a response. Which I thought was hilarious considering she was QUICK to respond while getting me to book... Again, I can blame myself because in the subject I put "Consultation Adjustments, Please Review Before September 2024 Wedding"... BUT as a professional, if you're getting an email from a PAYING customer that says "adjustments" I'd imagine you'd look at it and respond within 48 hours. Or even a week. Nope. A month after no response I just decided to cancel because the thought of having wedding day makeup that I hated and an unresponsive vendor was stressing me out. This was in late October/early November 2023. Still no response from Jazmine, even to say "Sorry you didn't like the makeup but I hope you have a wonderful wedding day". I'm disappointed. I feel like this artist doesn't keep up with the trends and seems to only be able to do one style that unfortunately is dated. I hate leaving negative reviews about people, but wedding day makeup is SO important, being a bride is stressful and in the least, we deserve a response from the people we are paying. I'm leaving 3 stars because the foundation was actually super great. I urge you to please have a $100 consultation with the artist instead of paying the entire bridal deposit, which includes the consultation. Now I'm out $300 (the deposit I was asked to pay that includes bridal makeup and travel to North Georgia for the wedding day) and I've been ghosted.

Jazmine is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I made the mistake of waiting until the last minute to book a MUA (I DO NOT RECOMMEND), but in this case in worked out in my favor! Jaz was punctual especially having a VERY early call time and 8 faces to beat. Everyone was so amazed at her work because our faces were beat ALL DAY & NIGHT. I literally fell asleep with my makeup on and woke up the next day with my face intact! Bottomline if you want a very personable, punctual, and professional MUA you need to book her ASAP! I promise you she won't disappoint!

I hired Jazmine for my wedding in July & I could not have been more pleased with how my makeup turned out! She came to us, was ready to go for the early morning wake up call, and got my large party ready one by one! It was a long day but she was professional and so fun to have around through it all! Everyone RAVED about her & were so happy with the end result! From my grandmother to my bridesmaids everyone got a look that fit them! On top of that my wedding day was in July so it was hot as fire but the makeup did not move- it looked just as perfect in the hotel as it did walking out of our venue at the end of the night! Overall 10/10, highly recommend!!

Jazmine really blew my expectations out of the water. She is so professional, punctual and knows how to do real bridal glam. I looked flawless. My makeup didn’t budge the entire night. She followed up with me to make sure she had the look for me and my girls on the big day and just delivered on each one of us. Different skin tones, textures. Doesn’t matter. She will make you feel like the only one in the room. No need to look anywhere else for your MUA, she’s right here sis!!
