From our very first phone call, Jen was incredibly sweet, professional, and responsive. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always available to answer my questions and offered thoughtful, helpful advice. Her experience with Southern California venues really showed—she was already familiar with my reception venue, which made everything so much easier and less stressful for me.
One thoughtful touch that really stood out was that she sent her assistant coordinator to be onsite for our rehearsal day. It was so reassuring to have that support and guidance leading up to the big day.
On the wedding day itself, Jen and her team were amazing. They made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I could clearly see how much wedding experience she has—she was organized, calm, and completely prepared for anything that came up. Thanks to Jen, my now-husband and I were able to fully enjoy our special day without any stress.

Planning the most stressful event of your life (in my case, a wedding) is an experience for which there is no metaphor. You know what a wedding is. You can traverse your lived experiences and imagination and name many of the things that you think should be at a wedding like tables and people whose names you know and silverware and ice, but the act of then trying to list these items and then figure out where and how to get them feels impossible, as does identifying what is not on this list but needs to be on this list.
Then you realize you don't actually even know what things you need because you know neither where nor when your wedding is and both of those unknowns determine what you can or even should desire.
This paralysis unfolds like an ever descending spiral of madness with each day that passes, and everyone who you announced your engagement to must surely be sitting in a state of judgemental apprehension, pondering their lack of an invitation in their mailbox.

Hiring Jen is like turning an essay into a multiple choice test for which you either already know every answer, or may ask your new best friend what she thinks the answer is and she's always right.
I'm fairly confident that if somebody gave Jen an adequate amount of compensation, she could fix the entire economy in however much time she said it would take.
At no point in what should have been a harrowing experience did I or my wife, both of us Engineers who worry about things for a living, worry that anything at the wedding was going to go wrong. My largest concerns on the wedding day was forgetting to look at the perfectly curated list of things I had to do created by Jen, and failing to locate my desired pair of socks, which would have forced me to use my backup pair of socks.
Jen says to me a week before the wedding "Don't worry Zach, if something goes wrong, you won't even notice it, that's why I'm here" or something like that. And son of a bitch I don't think anything went even slightly wrong.

I don't know where this protagonist from a space adventure movie came from or why she runs an event planning company or why she's not also a therapist, but thank GOD we found her.
Jenny is amazing! She is so easy to work with and very responsive! Her vendor list was very useful and helped us make decisions through the planning process. She also gives great recommendations. Wedding planning is pretty stressful, but she made us feel calm every time we spoke with her. We had a few last minute changes and contingency, but she was very accommodating and pulled through. On our wedding day, Jenny and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. She even stayed with us the whole night until everyone left the building. 11/10 We highly recommend Jenny!!!
We loved working with Jenny! She is so responsive, accessible, and understanding. She was not only present for our wedding day, but helped set up any additional events we had on the wedding week and made sure everything was in line before we even arrived to the event. Jenny was instrumental to planning the wedding of my dreams! Jenny and I worked together for the better part of a year to help plan my big day. Throughout this process she demonstrated superb communication skills (written and verbal), as well as fantastic soft skills. She has wonderful established relationships with vendors which helped the process enormously. She has strong systems to ensure a beautiful event. I'm so grateful that I connected with her and cannot say enough nice things about her. If you use her for your event, she will take the stress out of it for you, so you can enjoy it.
My husband and I are so glad we worked with Jenny from JenEvents. From the start, Jenny was so easy to communicate with and I felt comfortable sharing my wishes and visions with her, it was like talking with my friend. I only needed the month of coordination, basically I had booked all my vendors and had decided on a wedding style, just needed help keeping things organized, keep me in check the few months before, walk through the rehearsal with us, and coordinate the day of! Jenny really made everything from beginning to end so amazing, always there for us if we had random questions via text or email, was flexible to set up tasting and venue visits with, and most of all the wedding day was so seamless. The day of was chaotic in the best way, and Jenny had all the timelines, vendors, and details DOWN. She remembered the things I had forgotten, like steaming my veil! Jenny and her team made sure the decor and reception was exactly like how I had imagined! If were to get married again we would choose JenEvents!! :)

Jenevents was referred by our venue and I am so thankful and glad she was! Jenny was beyond helpful throughout the entire time even though we only hired her for the day of coordinator. From our initial phone call she was super sweet and accommodating. She constantly checked in every month. Dia was our coordinator the day of and she was the best! Everything was so smooth we did not have to worry about a single thing. We forgot our top tier cake and Dia made sure it was dropped off at our house the same night! Jenny is an amazing wedding planner! From start to finish of wedding preparations she was so hands on and attentive. She suggested ideas for us when we weren't sure how we wanted the processional to go, and she made sure we didn't forget about little things like table numbers when we were down to the wire. Her team has great energy and were so professional on the day of the wedding. They ran around making sure everything was running smoothly, handing out tips, and keeping every part of the wedding on schedule so my husband and I didn't haven't to think about a thing except enjoying ourselves. I'd highly recommend!
Jenny and her team were great from the moment we booked with her. Although we hired her as only a "day- of coordinator," she helped us throughout the whole wedding planning process. She checked in with us monthly, gave us great vendor recommendations, and answered all our questions. She was so organized and professional. I felt so much less stressed having JenEvents as our coordinator throughout the planning process. I can't recommend them enough!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenny as a saxophonist for one of her couple's weddings, and let me just say that she excelled across the board. She got a detailed timeline out to myself and the other vendors WAY in advance, and was so attentive as to ask us about our vendor meal preferences and send us all a floorplan unprompted. In my experience, I often have to ask for these things, and when this level of attention to detail was displayed so early in the planning process, I knew the wedding would be a smashing success. Needless to say, I was right!

If I could give Jenny 20 stars I would! We hired Jenny last minute after we realized that we could not pull off a wedding without some help. Jenny right away took a meeting with us & won us over! From the beginning she was kind and easy to get a hold of. Once things got closer she was organized & kept me feeling at ease through the stress. Day of Jenny was just amazing - making sure everything was going smooth and kept a smile on her face keeping me calm. Best decision was to hire her!!
Jenny is the best! I hired her for day-of coordination, but she was always available during the planning process if I had any questions or needed any assistance. She is so kind and professional and she has very valuable resources. Her and her team made our wedding day run so smoothly and my parents and I were so grateful to have her there. We didn't have to lift a finger.

Jen was absolutely amazing!! Everything went so smoothly and there wasn't a single thing I had to worry about or deal with on the day prior or day of. My cake was supposed to have fresh flowers all over it, but it arrived with no flowers and she went around finding the perfect colors and made it look absolutely beautiful!! I ordered the cake myself on the side ;) Jen is organized and worked seamlessly with all the vendors and the venue. I couldn't have asked to work with anyone better. Jen was amazing! We booked the month of coordination package, but she helped during our whole wedding planning process with answering questions and even helped DIY some of our wedding decor and kept many of our decor at her place for us. She kept track of things we needed reminders of the day of the wedding, and helped keep everything organized. We were so happy to work with her!
How do I even begin to describe how amazing Courtney was. She was very kind, responsive, patient while helping my husband and I plan the best day of our lives. There are so many wonderful things my husband and I can say about Jenny! We got her full planning package for our wedding in August 2023, and she was honestly one of the best things about wedding planning and our wedding day. We were both stressed about different details and every time, Jenny swooped in with an efficient solution! We had the Day-of Coordination Service with Jenny and her team as one of the recommendations from our venue, The Richard Nixon Library. We chose her because from day 1 she was so thoughtful and every interaction she strived to get to know us and to make every detail meaningful.
She gives a helpful list of vendor recommendations that made planning the wedding so easy. Then, she took the reins of the final planning details from about 3 months before the wedding day. Because of JenEvents, I didn't need to worry about making the timeline, coordinating with all the vendors at both the church ceremony venue and a separate reception venue, and getting all the decor to both venues. On the day of, as a bride, I really felt like I didn't need to think/sweat the small details and got to really enjoy the day with 200+ guests (and on time, too)! If you are having your venue at the Richard Nixon Library, truly consider having Jenny and her team on your side. She knows the ins and outs of the venue and provided such valuable advice about decorating ideas as well! Honestly, her professionalism and expertise in planning would be beneficial for any couple in any venue!

We sought out a wedding coordinator because we started wedding planning and immediately got so overwhelmed. We spoke to Jenny one afternoon and she was so warm and calm, her presence just made us feel so secure with wedding planning! It was a no brainer to choose her as our wedding coordinator.
Jenny was so amazing at communicating with us. Every obstacle we faced during planning, Jenny was always there to provide solutions and assure us that things were going smoothly. She has a really warm and kind demeanor, she makes you feel like family and it made us thoroughly enjoy the wedding process in its entirety!
JenEvents went ABOVE and BEYOND during the wedding itself! Every little request, they handled 110% and were the BEST team we could've ever imagined! Without Jenny I wouldn't have had my dream wedding. Everything was under control from start to finish. My questions were always answered and I always felt like a priority to her—best wedding planner in the industry.
Just hire her. Just do it. I was referred to Jenny by my caterer and I am so glad I went with her. She was my rock in the chaos and hiring her was the best money we have spent on our wedding. While searching for a day of coordinator, I was reluctant to find one because my husband and I are both type A people, very organized and believed we could do it on our own. Boy were we wrong. Jenny came through for us time and time again, helping us locate vendors, checking in on us when she didn’t have to and overall you literally feel safe when you give her a hug (I’m not even joking).
I am vietnamese and my husband is white, so when I (a jenny nguyen) found out Jenny Halstead was a former jenny nguyen, I absolutely had to have her. Not only did we have the same names, but she understood what it meant to combine two cultures and make sure everything went smooth sailing. Jenny and her team worked tirelessly in our 270 people wedding and always did so with such a great attitude. I have to give a shoutout to Courtney Koltes as well because when things got chaotic, she handled it so gracefully and she truly is a gem on the JenEvents team.
At the end of the night, we told Jenny that she needs to up her pricing because everything she did for us was more and beyond what we expected from her. She truly is the best money we spent on our wedding.

JEN IS AWESOME! When I was looking for help for wedding planning I was wanting someone who was down to earth, experienced and affordable. We saw Jen’s prices and figured she fit the bill. We met with her and told her where we were at in our planning and she told us that the package we selected was too much and she would adjust for what she would offer. We felt like she was worth every penny! She got us in touch with an affordable DJ, live guitarist and florist. I say affordable because they were TOP NOTCH and didn’t break our bank. They weren’t inexpensive, but again, worth every single penny. I wanted people to have fun, and I wanted to have fun, but I never would have thought people would be saying our wedding was so much fun, they wanted to know the names of the people we hired. That’s because of Jen. We did find some people on our own but she filled in the many blanks we were missing and I’m truly and forever grateful that we found her and her team.
Jenny and her team are amazing! I hired Jenny for day of coordination for our wedding at the Nixon Library. She was available to help answer any questions along the way and set up time for us to meet multiple times. She literally does it all from timeline set up, vendor coordination, suggestions/advice, decor set up, etc. During our wedding I had a handful of people come up to me and compliment me on how great our wedding coordinator was. Dependable. Responsive. I send texts and emails whenever I want and particular in knowing what’s important. Dia with the guidance of Jenny delivered just that. They kept the party schedule moving to a T the day of! Made for perfect night! They are all responsive leading up to the event and essentially met my expectations for wedding planners. Great job! Our event was in Portofino Hotel and Marina in Redondo Beach, CA.

There simply aren't enough stars to do Jen and her team justice. I was a wedding DJ for 15 years, and I have seen the best and worst of hundreds of weddings. One thing that always stood out was when the couple was so involved with the events of their day that they did not enjoy any of it. So when it was my turn to get married and my wife suggested we get a day of coordinator i was in total agreement. Little did I know that my wife had picked the Jedi Master of coordinators!
Jen handled everything!!!! Our wedding was at the Nixon Library and Jen was a pro at working with this venue and their suggested vendors. If the Nixon is your venue DOUBLE MY 5 STAR REVIEW. Jen was available to us whenever we needed her, she kept us on track and helped us to prepare for things we didn't consider. When we had questions about how to make arrangements with our vendors she was either quick with the answer or offered to handle it herself. On our wedding day she was so on top of everything we did not even have to think about it. The only way to truly do her and her staff justice is for me to say: "Imagine being a guest at a wedding, you take it all in, you enjoy time with family and long lost friends, you eat delicious food and partake in an open bar. Now picture all of this but you're actually the bride and groom, you actually enjoy your whole wedding start to finish!!". Jen worked so well with of food vendors, DJ and MC's that we didn't have to do anything but enjoy all of our loved ones having a great time (many for the first time since covid started). We cant thank her enough for making our wedding something everyone will remember.

I got married this past January and I could not have done it without the JenEvents team. Right after I got engaged, I knew I needed help with all the ins and outs of wedding planning (there is so much that goes into planning that brides do not realize). Jenny and Crystal were lifesavers. Throughout the planning process they helped me find vendors in my price range, kept everything organized, and made sure I was on task with planning. I received plenty of emails and texts from them that really helped me stay calm and organized through the whole process. Jenny was even able to research and sort out an issue with a fraudulent vendor that I had booked and was able to help me find a new one. The day of my actual wedding went so smoothly because Crystal and her assistant handled everything! Other vendors even complimented me on how professional and organized my wedding coordinators were.
